My favorite is the Crab roll! You can never go wrong with the Lobster roll either. It's a taste of Maine in Florida - fresh and so good. Can't recommend this food truck enough.

Absolutely the best of the best! Incredibly fresh, delicious food and the nicest people. It is always such a treat to have my favorite Maine italians, sour pickles, and lobster bisque (the rolls are really good too!). Makes me so happy and I'm so thankful to them for providing these wonderful tastes of home down here in Florida. Love Love Love!!!!

Consistently the best lobster roll in town. Great value for the price . Huge lobster pieces and the best type of roll. The presentation is great - comes in a box with napkins utensils and sides. The owner is very personable . We have been to bar Harbour and this lobster is on par if not better than the lobster pounds in Maine .

We're at Royal Coachman RV Resort and we like to support the food trucks that come here, and tonight (Feb 21st) was the Maine Line's turn. We were not disappointed, not at all. We had the 16 oz serving of Clam Chowdah and enjoyed it. We know our chowders and, while this had its own characteristics, it was still excellent in flavour. Our only criticism was that it had a lot of potatoes versus clams, but the flavour was still there. Our next dishes were Mom's Lobster Roll. The amount of lobster was generous (the menu says 4 oz) and it was claw meat. We loved it. The mayo was sort of dabbed on top. One part of me says I would have preferred the lobster meat to be chopped up and mixed with the mayo - even if it loses something in its presentation. The other part of me says I had it as it was served and I really enjoyed it, so leave it alone. Small oversight. My lobster roll was missing its coleslaw, an oversight that can happen to anyone at any time. On the other hand, my wife's roll included the coleslaw, which she enjoyed. However, the serving was puny. Our suggestion, do away with the potato chips and increase the amount of coleslaw to 6-8 oz. You make the coleslaw whereas you buy the chips. Such a change would be better for you. All told - 10/10 stars!

First dining experience with Maine Line and it certainly won’t be the last. With food this tasty, immediate service and gorgeous weather, I could care less that we were in a clean and safe parking lot with plenty of parking. The portions were really larger than expected and prices weren’t out of line. Customers were driving up, walking and bicycling up to place orders. Their schedule is posted on their website, so you can’t miss them. Make it a priority; you won’t be disappointed!

W just had The Main Line for the first time. The lobster is amazing! Best service we have had at a restaurant/food truck ever. Will be coming back soon!

Kurt and his family did a great job for a Caldwell Trust staff party we had recently. Could not have been easier to arrange and their lobster rolls and chowder is off the chart good! Biggest problem we had was picking out what to eat from their vast menu. Something for everyone. Highly recommend them for your next event.

BEST SOUPS I have had since moving to Florida. Growing up in NY & NJ I got to eat Bisque at many top restaurants... This beats them all. Look forward to your monthly visit to North Port

Can we just throw it out there that this is THE BEST LOBSTER FOOD TRUCK EVER? Kurt is probably one of the nicest, honest, and most caring person. Their food is honestly the best I have ever had. He has hosted plenty of events at our club house for our community as well as hosted an event for our work. We highly suggest booking them because they have huge portions for the best prices.

Wonderful experience and "the best" food and service. The warm clam roll was AA+ and Kurt was very accommodating and fixed me a cup of ketchup mixed with warm butter. Um um good!

Great place good food and great atmosphere

Being from Maine, I’m always trying to find seafood from Maine in Florida which is impossible. Until now, my daughter found The Maine Line on facebook. On Friday 6-16-23 for our 32nd anniversary and Father’s Day my wife took us to this food truck. If you want truly authentic Maine seafood, clam chowdah, Italian sandwich, whoopie pie, red hotdogs and Maine lobster this is the place for you. I had a red hotdog and a lobster roll, wife and daughter had Italian sandwich. It was delicious and I’ll be going back. It was great talking with Kurt. Thank you!

Excellent warm lobster with butter and coleslaw! Lots of meat!

I was relating my experience at Kelly's to a friend when he told me about a place that he heard about, The Maine Line. We stopped there today, I ordered the Warm Lobster Roll with melted butter. When I received it, it definitely had lots of eye appeal, all claw meat, the weight was as advertised 4 oz, & lots of savory sweetness from the lobster meat. Some of these vendors fill their Rolls with scraps of lobster meat with a piece of claw meat on top or short you on the weight to enhance their profit at your cost, not at Maine Line, they have my highest praise for serving not only quality lobster meat but they give you the full amount (4oz) of lobster meat, no short weight here! You will not find a better Lobster Roll anywhere but at The Maine Line where this ambitious young couple work hard to please their customers.

Whenever I tried a “sub” sandwich for the first time (Subway, Quiznos, Cousins, Erberts n Gerberts etc…, the bread was what people mentioned but it never lasted. The Maine Line breaks that pattern. The bread is brought in from Maine (or “up Nort” as we say in Wisconsin) and apparently has been the preferred bread for millennia. Okay, I exaggerated a bit but it does do it’s share in creating a superior sandwich. I visited The Maine Line food truck when it was in Venice Isle Estates. While the fresh Maine lobster (lobster roll anyone?), clam chowder or lobster bisque sounded heavenly, the Italian sandwiches fit my budget and craving a little better. Catch me on a cooler day and I would love to try the chowdah. I live that I was allowed to sample the sour pickles first. I practically coughed and required a drink as I let the juice slip to the back of my throat. However, when it is combined with the other fresh ingredients that make up the sandwich, it becomes mild and a secondary addition among the flavors experienced and enjoyed. The owners are super friendly and did not mind the fact I wished to engage in conversation as my family is originally from Maine. Seeing as my time in Florida is limited, I will be seeking out the food truck schedule to sample the chowdah and another menu menu item. I still have time to decide what flavors I wish to savor. If you want to experience Maine while enjoying the winter in Florida, this really is the only way it will happen.

I'm from Maine. Excellent lobster roll. Full of fresh lobster. Better than what I got when in Maine and more reasonably priced than lots of places in Maine.

The lobster was great but that's about all I got! No roll. No coleslaw. I believe it was an oversight. The man who served me probably pulled the wrong box. It was in the wrong place in the truck. I didn't check the contents before I got home. It was in Sarasota at Plymouth Harbor. Then we had a hurricane and I just got back to you. I am out of town now but I'd like full measure next time!

Excellent food from back home. Eating an Italian sandwich that Kurt made brought back so many memories from my childhood. Kurt and Brenda are very nice people and there food is top notch. I highly recommend trying them out if you want excellent food from Maine.

Anyone know where this place is located? I’ve tried a few times to find them through their address here and they are no where to be found. Am I missing something? I called a few times and no one picks up….

We searched for area food trucks and found this one online. We loved the sound of it, so we searched him out. So glad we did. Owner was fun to talk to. the food was so fresh and delicious! I had the lobster tacos and they were outstanding. my hubby had the lobster roll and he wanted another one - they were that good. the chowdah was top notch. we really appreciated the $5 kids meals. Owner also had us try the whoopie pie for dessert - which I'm so glad he did! just a perfect meal from first bite to last!

Just went there along Tamiami Trail south of Venice and it's to die for!! Great tasting lobster rolls, albeit on the pricy side. (Since when is seafood not pricey!). I believe this roll goes for $21.99. The Maine Line has authentic New England flavor in its offerings. The taste was incredible. Highly recommended, but be prepared to dish out some money at this food truck. Great location, on Wednesdays.

The Maine Line food truck came to our development and we had the opportunity to try them for the first time. We are from New England and highly recommend. We tried the large or mega lobster roll with butter (no mayo). 8 oz of fresh, tasty Maine Lobster. The owner came out and spoke with us to be sure we were having a good experience. We will find your truck and look forward to enjoying more of your lobster!!

Incredible Lobster Roll. The owner and staff friendly and the truck was ultra clean. When a NY Yankee fan praises a Red Sox fan......you know this place rocks !!!
