I’ve travelled all over the world for thirty-five years on business and routinely eat at five star restaurants. Food here can hold its own against the best. Management has given careful thought and attention to detail on the menu without over-assorting the number or type of dishes. Every dish that was delivered to our table was prepared with careful attention to detail using top-shelf ingredients. Service was attentive and at the same time unobtrusive. Had a great time!

A great experience from start to finish!!

Very nice place. High end. Expensive. We were in the tavern this time. It's less expensive than the main restaurant but still pricy. Nice old New England vive. Service is steller. Food is excellent. A bit crowded seating. Great for a date or special occasion for sure. Restaurant highly recommend reservations.

The best 👌 restaurant in Bedford, NH! The Tavern at Bedford Village is excellent from start to finish. Get welcomed by wonderful staff (highly recommend the waiter Hunter whom truly knows the drinks and food). Everything is made at the restaurant which one can tell once tasting. I enjoyed it so much that my friend and myself went there back to back evenings. My favorite dish is the herb roasted Faroe Island Salmon Fillet and the cheese charcuterie board is amazing.

Rangoon appitizer seemed old; way over cooked, 1 w/ nothing inside and dry to point of being tasteless. Would have given 1 star though chowder was good. Apparently middle of afternoon on weekday is not the time to go here.

The place is cozy, relaxed and priced with the atmosphere. Nice balance

First time here. Hunter, our waiter was superb and friendly. My tavern burger with sweet potato fries was the best burger I have had. Done to perfection with a lot of flavor and juicy. My best friend got a lamb burger, and she was amazed at how delicious it was, and she got the garlic parmesan fries that were excellent. Of course, we had to get dessert. I got a salted carmel souffle, which is made to order. She got the chocolate box for two. These desserts were exquisitely executed and, of course, melt in your mouth yummy. Needless to say, there are no leftovers except her chocolate box that she did not finish. We will be back and hope the waiter Hunter will be there, we will ask for him. Thanks for a very enjoyable and relaxing time. See you again soon.

Very nice ambiance and has a magical feeling

Beautiful restaurant, aesthetic wise the restaurant is a 5/5. However, between the host and the bartender we were greeted with coldness and hostility. The crowd in there was over 50, it felt like it was age discrimination. The bartenders remarks were rude and unprofessional so we left after just one drink. We had just stopped in from a long road trip and we’re dressed casually while we were waiting for our hotel room to be ready and are in our mid 20s, felt like that was a factor. We observed the other diners who were much older being treated significantly different. We can’t speak upon their food because we were too uncomfortable to go back for our planned dinner. Maybe we will come back in 20 years.

Great food and nice atmosphere.

The tavern was full so the hostess suggested we go upstairs to Cork. What a great little restaurant/lounge! It's a gem. Great decor, dim lighting, relaxing and comfortable. We sat at the bar...was small and intimate. The bartender was awesome and the food was amazing. Had great conversation with another couple we met at the bar. You wanna check this place out!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Inexperienced management and poor customer care is what people can now expect when dining at the Bedford Village Inn restaurant. Extremely disappointing. The poorest customer service I have seen in a restaurant of this caliber.

The food was good.. I'd go back.. but the server we had was awful. Forgot a lot of our order.. the coffee was very strong.. ...

Atmosphere stands out in this quaint and cozy spot. Great appetizer ands cheese menu, with limited but very good entree options. Very nice wine menu too. Campus is very nice, beautifully decorated for Christmas season

The tavern is a great looking restaurant and bar with good food and great service. We went with 6 people and everyone really enjoyed their food. We will definitely be heading back. It was very fairly priced for what we got.

We loved having dinner with friends here. The food was soooo good and the service was even better. This is our new meetup spot. Can’t wait to go back.

Good food, nice atmosphere, service was on the slower side though

First time here, and we had an amazing time. Brianna was our server. Super sweet and knowledgeable. The manager, Tyler, was friendly and made sure we had a great first time there.

My mom and I dined at the Tavern for the first time in a while yesterday, and we cannot complain about anything! Our server, Adrianna was so sweet and knowledgeable. Our food (steak frites and Turkey wrap) was also amazing and everything was delightful.

My favorite restaurant in New England

Went here for anniversary lunch with my wife. My French Dip sandwich was excellent, although a little on the pricey side.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time! I strongly suggest the chocolate bag for dessert!

Food is on point, wasn't a huge fan of the oysters only because they were very large, I prefer the small ones. The crispy crab cakes and they goat cheese croquettes were the best I've had. I didn't have dinner just appitizers and a couple drinks. The drinks were great as well.

Warm Fireplace, Good Food, and Friendly Service Loved this! Took a late lunch from work (which amounted to an early dinner); and there really wasn't anyone here, yet. The Tavern has a very rustic "cabin in the woods," sort of feel to it; and it was an incredibly relaxing meal from start to finish. My hamburger was tasty; and the Creme Brulee was wonderful. Yum 🥰

Pricey, but good portions and good tasting. Service was prompt and attentive, and our waitress was likeable and polite. We were underdressed for the restaurant, but nothing was made of it. The main tavern dining room is apparently under renovation, but there are plenty of available tables in other rooms. They have an unexpectedly good selection of upper shelf bourbons, whisky, and wines. The menu is limited, but no more than expected these days in a smaller restaurant. Nice " refined rustic" decor, upscale plating.

Got seated by the staff, waited 25 min for a server and was never even acknowledged.

Professional staff. Servers carry themselves appropriately. Cooks...no complaints about entrees. Pastry...more chocolate options, other than that, you're doing great!

Giving three stars only because my wife has been enough to know it can be a 5 star experience. But for my first visit... Service was abysmally slow. My wife didn't get the side she ordered. My salad was over salted to hell, and had virtually no dressing. My daughter's Mac and cheese was lumpy and just meh. I'll try again in the future and adjust my review accordingly.

My company booked a lunch here. I had the Steak frites with parmesan fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a delicious simply seasoning on it. The fries were on point as well. Would definitely eat here again.

My family had a little brunch reunion here. The tea, food, and dessert were all beautiful, tasted marvelous, and overall the experience was very memorable. My aunt felt her food had too much garlic to be palatable and the manager graciously replaced her meal. I felt it was handled very professionally and courteously. We were talked to like people.

Warm, welcoming, rustic, New England, excellent food, comfortable, superior service

We were greeted by a gentleman with a British accent. He told us that it was fully booked for the entire night BVI both the dinner area and Tavern. When we walked into the Tavern dinner area, a young beautiful blonde hostess came right away and to secure a table with a potential hour wait. She was professional, kind and customer service oriented. We took a table after putting our names on the list. She made our night! 🙏

Food and drinks were delicious and our waitress was awesome very friendly and attractive and the atmosphere was very cozy

Went here for lunch. Food is good. Got fried pickles and Margherita pizza. Our waiter/bartender was super friendly and on point with service.👌 Update 11/23/22, had the crab and artichoke dip and once again the Margherita pizza. The dip was just ok, dip was cold in the middle. Pizza was good and our waiter was awesome and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic friend pickles and burger.
