Need to update door dash pictures. every time i order i forget its the opposite. the chicken shawarma PLATTER shows a wrap. then the chicken shawarma MEAL shows the platter. but yet when you order it, you get the opposite and its just big disappointment.

Pleasant wait staff, proficient service, quality food.

Grabbed some dinner to go and was impressed with how clean and comfortable the restaurant was. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with fries. It was very good but I wish taziki sauce came with it. The wrap was a tad bland due to minimal sauce but the ingredients were fresh and delicious.

I got the chicken shawarma bowl, the gyro wrap with hummus, and baklava. Everything was so good and tasted so incredibly fresh. This was my first time ever there and I will definitely be back probably once a week lol. The service was beyond awesome. I also got the lemon mint drink and it was also so delicious. The baklava was so delicious and just crumbled with every bite. So so so good. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

This place is great. Every time I fly into New Orleans, I stop in. The gyros are amazing and the service is always excellent. Also, try the baklava. You're welcome.

This place is a MUST! Two miles from MSY here in New Orleans (Kenner). I had the Traditional Gyro. Fantastic flavor and tzatziki sauce (thick) that set of the taste.

We've done the gyro and chicken sharma wraps, meals and the bowls and it's all delicious! You know how you eat someplace fairly regularly, after awhile it loses some of its appeal? Not this place!! Theyre always fresh, fast and tasty!! I do a little happy dance when I take my first bite!! Labense tea is so refreshing!! Definitely in my top 3 go to places to eat, honestly, probably my top favorite!! Staff is always friendly too. 🤗

The food has big portions the chicken there is so good the building looks good it might be a little bit expensive but the portions negate that I like the chicken shawarma the chicken tenders are the best ones I had

If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you are missing out. Authentic hummus and pita. The shrimp wrap is delicious. A good lunch spot. They are also very consistent.

We love Shawarma food it is delicious. Serve is always topnotch. Basel is awesome and good looking for the young ladies. My wife and myself often bring friends to enjoy Shawrma food. If you have never been there give it a try.

Go to Sultans instead where they will actually make you a spicy wrap instead of putting sauce on the side. This place used to be great.

I ordered the kebab platter. The tahini sauce tasted better than any tahini sauce I have tasted. The Greek salad had very fresh lettuce considering it’s a Sunday night when most restaurants serve slightly wilted lettuce. The hamburger shaped kebabs topped with small sticks of pickles and very thinly sliced onions. When dipped it in the garlic sauce, it was delicious. Now that I think about it I wish I would’ve asked for a spoon so I could have gotten more good rice in my mouth. I wanted something light and filling, and I sure got it. I was totally satisfied when I left the place. It was very clean and appealing and the help was very friendly. When I leave Houston to come visit my sister, Shawarma on the Run will definitely be a stop for us.

OMG. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!! Went here a couple of weeks ago. The hummus is the best I have ever had. I am formerly from Calif, and I have had a lot of variations...this is the BEST. Also, the chicken shawarma and grape leaves are wonderful. There's a "smoothness" to the food that is just amazing. There were mostly take out orders while we ate there in a clean, calm environment. Wish they would open a place in the Northshore!!!

Healthy and delicious food I recommend

We had: Gyro wrap, steak bowl, and falafel 🥙 sooo delicious! The food on the pics is half eaten since we couldn't wait to try it and it's a miracle we stopped to take pictures! The flavors and the freshness of ingredients were outstanding! You could taste various flavors of rice, meat, sauces and everything was perfectly balanced. All complemented by a very nice and polite young man at the front desk! The place looks very clean and the only regret is that we live far enough not to be able to visit more frequently! We got an extra wrap for tomorrow and we will be back for sure!!!

Food is absolutely delicious! Hummus is especially good. If you like a good shawarma this place (as well as their sister restaurant on magazine) is fantastic. I'd highly recommend both the gyro and chicken platters.

I tried this Greek spot, and let me tell you, their chicken shawarma is next level. I mean, the meat was so perfectly seasoned, it's like a flavor splosion in every bite. Highly recommend!

As much as I love their chicken swarma platter, today I tried the Philly cheese steak and may have found a new favorite. Fast, delicious, friendly.

Nice atmosphere. Located in Kenner and is in a shopping center/strip mall area with a Mexican restaurant, an Indian buffet, a Hispanic barbershop and a Hispanic ice cream shop. Clean dining area and good middle eastern food 😋

Stoped in for the first time today. It's delicious. We order Gyro platter and Chicken Shawarma wrap. Both were excellent. The hummas is particularly flavorful. Will definitely be back here again.

Great shawarma, gyros, hummus, etc. We got the gyro plate and chicken shawarma, it was so good and flavourful. The shawarma has a tiny bite to it (a little tzaziki was enough to cover that for my spouse, I added hot sauce for more of a kick). The hummus was so smooth and creamy. Great gyro, and well seasoned rice. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We topped it off with some excellent baklava. We will definitely be back for more!

Our office absolutely loves this restaurant in Kenner. The owners and employees are wonderful, food is delicious and service is fast. No complaints ever; come check them out.

Good tasting food but too expensive for the portion sizes

Incredible! Was looking for something a little different than the standard New Orleans shrimp po-boy and stumbled upon these guys in the UberEats app. Shrimp wrap! Do it, order it, do it today! Say it with me Shrimp Wrap! Perfectly cooked Shrimp, the texture of a grape, lots of clean flavors! Winner! Now the first choice when I'm in the mood for a shrimp sandwich.

I personally can’t eat gluten but really wanted the Philly Cheese Steak taste, so they went out of their way to make me a Philly Cheese Steak Bowl! It was incredible (definitely recommend trying it out with a side of fries) and they were so kind to do that in the first place! 10/10 try Shawarma on the Run!

We got the Chicken Shawarma, Lentil Soup and Falafel and it was delicious. Friendly staff and awesome location. You have to try it. Hands down the best Shawarma Chicken in town.
