I rarely rate anything but feel compelled to express how good these bakery items are! I thought I was in love with the triple berry coffee cake but I purchased an orange chocolate scone last weekend at Oakland County Market and I'm having a hard time waiting to get more. They are a flavor and texture marvel! I anxious to try a sandwich next visit. (And several orange chocolate scones.)

I need to make my way to their shop- I picked up a blondie with oreo pieces and white chocolate from their stand at the farmers market and WOW. That was crazy good. I'm going to need to try their cakes/cobblers and plan on picking one up for our next family event.

Good baking items. Gluten free options don't taste good and the texture isn't up to par. But other items are great!

Great treats and a wonderful owner. We love all her baked goods but especially her cheesecake and peanut butter cookies.

We were lucky enough to grab a couple of the pi day pies! Absolutely delicious. Will gladly stop in and try something else next time.

Attended a private event where April provided a delicious dessert! She explained how she made it and gave some history that was really interesting! Not only was the dessert really amazing, April herself is very warm and personable!

April's Famous Bakes recently made our wedding cakes and we have heard nothing but rave reviews over them! We brought to-go boxes for people to take with and all 8 of our cakes were completely cleared out! I have heard amazing things about specifically the carrot cake and the chocolate cake! Even beyond cakes, you should see April where you can! Whether it is her dessert bar in Waterford, out in Holly, or the Oakland County Farmer's Market, everything is amazing. Special shout out to the peanut butter cookies!

April is so sweet and her bakes are always amazing and moist. I have used her for large gatherings and small ones. Will definitely use her skills in the future!

My kids and I just tried this awesome bakery! We can decide on one thing so we decided to try the brownie, and chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, strawberry jammer, chocolate toffee, peanut butter cookies! My son absolutely loved the chocolate chip cookie until he tried the snickerdoodle, at which point he bemoaned the fact that we didn't buy more of those! My daughter decided that the brownie was the best one she had ever tasted in her life (I wasn't insulted lol). My personal favorite was the chocolate toffee, which was a close second for my daughter as well :-) we will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area!

If you haven't tried April's Famous Bakes you are truly missing out. Their lemon bars are some of the best I have ever had. They are sweet and tart with a perfect crust. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious looking baked goods.

Had a great experience! I have finally found a place that can bake as good as grandma, especially April's cookies they are wonderful! Everything that I have purchased has been outstanding and to top it off they serve fresh pressed coffee. We have recently relocated our business to downtown Pontiac and I have definitely found my new go to. If you have not been to April's Famous Bakes, I strongly recommend you try this place. I will definitely be back!

Always friendly, peach pie was excellent as well as pecan pie. Need another one for Christmas!

Had a cinnamon roll yesterday that was to die for. The owner is super friendly and she carries other local products from Pontiac and Michigan. The baked goods rival that in Patisseries in big cities like Chicago and New York. They also will make to order for events. It is such a pleasure to stop by and see what new creations there are to try.

Such a great place! We normally think of Traffic Jam as the gold standard of cookies, but April's cookies are as good/better! Everything we have bought has been outstanding, from the rum balls to the cookies to the peach cobbler. We've definitely be back!

Had a great time here with my daughter and husband, we had mangonada, elote preparado, white chocolate chip cherry cookie and a warm peach cobbler top with vanilla ice cream. The owner April was very polite and great customer service. We will definitely come back to try other item's. 🍪 🍦 🌽

Great ice cream! Its my 3 yr olds' new favorite ice cream place. The Mangonada shake was also delicious and refreshing.

Work nearby and decided to visit after seeing an article that was posted after a visit from my boss, The Oakland County Treasurer. The shop is cute and quaint. I ordered a mini pound cake that was good and reasonably priced but I had to wait a while for icing which taste good but took quite a while to get. Also ordered a oatmeal raisin cookie that wasn't the freshest. I am looking forward to going back just for the pound cake alone. Look forward to giving the shop another try. Hopefully I get in and out of the shop quicker on my next lunch break.

This place had a pretty small selection for a bake shop (Lemon bars, Strawberry Shortcake bars, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered marshmallows, six different ice cream flavors, chocolate brownies, cookies, shakes, sodas, and peach cobbler.) I am used to walking in to shops like Astoria which have more desserts than I could care to count, but this is understandable since they are a small, new business. They have a little picnic table inside, and the decor is very cute. The lemon bar looked absolutely delicious, and so I asked for one. The man helping me said that they had been out for a week and that he wouldn't serve them to me, but that he had made new ones, but they weren't ready yet. This put me off a bit, hence the 4-star instead of 5. Why have an item out if you can't serve it? He said the same thing about the strawberry shortcake bars, and now I wonder how many items in the display suffer the same fate. If you won't serve it, why not take it off the display? I asked about more popular dishes and he pointed me towards the fridge and mentioned the peach cobbler, along with some shakes. I purchased the peach cobbler, had a bit of small talk, and went home. As I dug in to my dessert at home, I noticed it tasted a bit off. Not sure if it was old as well, or if I am just being picky. Maybe I'll be back in a few months to see if things improve, but right now I don't recommend them.
