Best Walleye Iv "Ever" Eaten! Worth a Trip! Very Friendly & Pleasant. Family Oriented Atmosphere. We Definitely Got Our Moneys Worth of Great Food Out of the Place. The Service Was Great, Very Courteous. It May Be Off the Beaten Path But WELL Worth the Scenic Drive. But, DON'T Blink or You MAY Miss it! The Towns Pretty Smal. Thol its Quiet & Quaint.

My tenderloin was overcooked and dry.. but the rest of the food was good..

They are popular because they are awesome.

Hale tab and supper club is the restaurant that I like to go to. They have really good food and very nice service. On Friday night and Saturday night they have a fantastic salad bar that comes with the meal. Mondays they are closed. Tuesday is hot roast beef sandwiches. Wednesday is barbecue ribs Thursday is tacos. Friday is all you can eat walleye. Saturday is prime rib. Sunday is roast chicken and shrimp. They also have a menu that you can order off of. The town of hale is fairly small you can go through it In about 20 seconds so slow down the restaurant is on the right side of the road if you’re going west. They open at 11 o’clock. Daily specials do not start until 4 o’clock. Sunday hours are from 4 o’clock to 8 o’clock.

Quality isn't great but their specials are good. I can only recommend the walleye special and fries.

First time there and it was absolutely amazing. The food was awesome and just the way I had ordered it. Our waitress even had us cut into the steak to make sure it was how we wanted it. I've never had that happen. Definitely will be going back!!!

A very nice restaurant and bar. Super friendly staff as well as patrons. I eat hardely and i was stuffed with the special, which was a giant tenderloin and i had fries which i couldnt finish. Money well spent in my book. Very relaxed atmosphere, actually ran into a cpl friends. This place has always had an excellent rep. Which is well deserved in my opinion.

This place is a gem in the middle of nowhere.

Well worth the hour drive. First time going there this evening. Parking was a non issue for us, got there just after 5pm, we left around 6pm, parking lot was filling up, but it is a pretty large parking lot. Our server was lovely, very sweet and attentive enough and knowledgeable. Food was scrumptious, we ordered the 5 appetizer, for 4 of us, we were quite full after that. My son and I ordered dinners (all you can eat Alaskan Walleye & Broasted Chicken)so we got the salad bar, quite nice, with a lot of choices - the beef and veg soup was very good, not impressed with the bread rolls though. Daughter and husband ordered the gutbuster - HUGE - massive, neither could finish, husband made his a platter. Prices were great, with tax it was around $87 (not including the tip we left) for 4 people with largest appetizers, and 4 full to-go boxes! We find this to be very reasonable, especially for how good the food was and portion sizes Very impressed with this teeny spot on the map, I see now how they have won awards! Will definitely make the hour long drive again, hopefully not through storms next time 😉

Great, Great, Great. We met up with some friends on the fish fry night, and everyone who ordered the fish were pleased. I ordered from the menu because I don't like seafood and it was really good!

My daughter recently fell due to a knee injury and they all went above and beyond to help us out. Best girl's in the world to have serving Hale!!

Always amazing food. If you don't try their prime rib once in your life, you haven't lived. Get there early (before 530) or make reservations on the weekends

Food is usually excellent. For sure worth driving an hour or two to get the all you can eat fish. Only minor complaint is that I wish they'd change their fryer oil a bit more often. Would recommend to anyone.

The all you can eat Walleye on Friday night is well worth my 60 minute drive. Includes choice of potato & salad bar. Had it 1/2 dozen times at least & never had to wait to be seated. LOTS of seating. Quick service for seconds (or more but I can't eat that much 😅) Most importantly, Walleye is always on point!

Had 4PM reservation for New Years Eve. Food was great, service was "top notch" & atmosphere was abuzz. Was in vehicle headed back home at 4:45PM. Awesome!!

Had a fried chicken sandwich and fried and fountain pop. For appetizers we had gizzard and onion rings. The gizzard were burnt and there is no way without breaking your teeth you could eat them.. onion rings were fried and burnt, chicken sandwich was like a sponge on the inside and couldn't even tell we were eating chicken, fries were grease packed and tasted like old nasty grease. Use to eat at Hale quite often but seems as though the quality is lacking! We put almost our whole meals in a Styrofoam to go container and hoping after paying $36 our outside stray cat will be able to eat it. Did mention our food was not good. Not the waitress fault and she did get a decent tip nonetheless. Not gonna be back!

Very good food and big portions, salad bar was good but they just needed cucumbers celery and carrots. This was our first time there and it was well worth it the 45 min. drive there

Went with some friends Pulled into parking lot which seemed REALLY busy The staff was friendly and seated us right away We ordered the King Prime Rib dinner for 2. Salad bar was fresh and had tons of options. The meat was tasty and prices were affordable It's a long drive from CR but well worth it!

AMAZING SPOT! Worth driving out of your way (not that there are too many other options around). Tons of seating, great for big groups. This place is not trying to be anything fancy—just good food for good prices. It’s not every restaurant that serves ranch in a ketchup bottle at the table! Go on Tuesdays for the Hot Beef Special. Say Hello to the locals, Al and Victor for us!

Loved it!! I highly recommend the Grilled Tenderloin. It's a little smaller than the plate-sized breaded one. But it's extremely juicy and flavorful! Star took excellent care of us, even when some adults started getting loud.

Good was great. Our server was very polite and and attentive. Price for lunch was very reasonable. Would highly recommend to any one looking for a good meal.

Saturday is Prime Rib night. Usually a great piece of meat. Tonight it was a bit too cool from the first bite. Tasty though. Ground Horseradish is kickin!!

We drove about an hour to get here. Love their food! Steak and prime rib were excellent..came with the salad bar which was awesome. Very fresh and clean with quite a few options on it. Macaroni salad, pea salad, potatoe salad, cottage cheese, peaches, pudding, soup, salad and rolls plus more. Service was ify, friendly just very preoccupied talking and eating so we sat a bit before she acknowledged us, Never checked back after dropping off food but fortunately for us the food itself was outstanding so that made up for it. Fair prices on food and drinks. Nice drive on a weekend. Definitely a good place to check out.

Had better. The broasted was good but 2 people had the special which was walleye and they thought each piece tasted and looked different. The waitress we had never brought the 1 piece they asked for. And my husband had to ask for his drink twice. We had to ask another waitress to get us silverware so we could eat our salad.. The table behind had a complaint that they discussed we the waitress that we talked to about the silverware. She was young but her memory wasn't great.
