If you like authentic or even just quality Mexican food, this is not the place to go. It's a taco stand. Inside it's hot, barely even air conditioned and outside in the large seating area it's even hotter. There are no fans on the patio so you will be sweating and swatting away flies while you eat. The menu is priced like a full service restaurant when it's literally just an order/ pick up window with seating. The only good thing I had was the margaritas. Street taco shells were raw and falling apart as raw corn tortillas tend to do, mushroom tacos were over seasoned, carnitas were decent, chicken was dry. The nachos were a strange combination, not particularly memorable or enticing. The Birria taco itself was good but the consume was just greasey, salty beef stock, not very flavorful in a good way. Like where's the oregano? Where's the cilantro? Where's the love? Like the horchata?! Is it powdered? Because it sure did taste powdered. It's definitely a meh experience but considering the prices it was terrible. I will say the food did come out fast but then again I wouldn't be surprised if everything was held in stream tables in the back instead of made fresh since that was Definitely how it tasted.

Had birria tacos. Girl was rude when I asked a question. I asked if I could have lettuce and they acted vague so I said forget about it. When I went up to get horchata that girl was nice. Overall not impressed but will probably give them another chance when I'm over that way. .

Since re-opening this place has been great. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Great food and service! Edit: You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not eat the Pacos Tacos every time you enter this building. This place has become our Friday go-to and we have never had a meal less than absolutely fantastic!!!

I have been to this location 3 times now and all I can say is that the food in bomb💣. The tacos with the sauce is to die for. The bottomless house made horchata drink is truly special. I will certainly be back.

Authentic, tasty and relaxing place to enjoy a meal or meet with friends. Bought some classic items from their menu for take out and they were so good we returned later to try some more while sitting down to enjoy the flavors. Kids decimated their tacos then talked me out of the other half of my doghouse burrito. Everything we ate was excellent, but the doghouse burrito really hit the spot for me. Nothing triggered any of my food issues, which was amazing and one of the biggest reasons I can't go to TB is due to the flour they add to the taco meat. So this offers a really nice alternative when I'm in the area. Prices are decent considering the quality of the ingredients. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed the hibiscus drink and the salsa bar for adding a little kick to my food. It's pretty easy to get in and out of the parking lot, but traffic does make it challenging around time school let's out up the road. But that clears up pretty quick.

I haven't been this disappointed in a highly rated restaurant in a long time. Went there on a Friday night for my late birthday dinner, and walked in 32 minutes before they closed. Immediately asked if they were still taking orders, as we've both worked in restaurants and know how bad that sucks. The cashier looked at the clock and begrudgingly said yes. Despite there being two other couples in the restaurant, it was so painfully obvious that we were inconveniencing the employees by being there while they were itching to leave. They wouldn't acknowledge us, sounded ticked off when they did speak to us, seemingly intentionally cleaned close to us to give us the hint, and played music so loud that we had a hard time hearing each other speak. The guacamole was pretty good but came with double the amount of chips than it needed so there was a ton of waste. The birria tacos came out with no dipping sauce. When we asked about it, we were met with an eye roll and they gave us a cup. It tasted like canned beef broth. There was almost no flavor, it was a clear brown color instead of being dark and nearly opaque, and it was super thin. We didn't know if this was normal until we compared it to Google review images and it was clearly watered down. The Al pastor tacos were really good. I was a little surprised that the taco plate didn't come with any sides at all, but I suppose that one is on me. Atrocious service, disappointing birria tacos, and delicious al pastor. Our experience didn't seem to be the norm, but I'm not sure I'll be back.

Legit Mexican tacos! I ordered the signature Pacos Taco. Delicious tender steak with guacamole, cheese, and sautéed onions and peppers.

The food was very rich in flavor, service was awesome. Location is very accessible and kid’s friendly. We ordered the birria tacos, street tacos and rock tacos and didn’t disappoint!

Whenever I eat here, I'm Obama, The consume is the pond behind my Martha's Vineyard home, And the rock tacos are my chef, Tafari Campbell. But seriously, I am concerned for the future of humanity, because we have reached the peak in quality and flavor of tacos. And the customer service, at the Mandeville shop, is the best I've received anywhere. Always overly polite and considerate. Very friendly, and it kinda makes me feel like I'm so welcomed that I could just walk in the back and scoop my own consume. I usually get the Rock Tacos, but I've had several other items and have never been close to even considering disappoint.

Came here because so many people said it was good. This just further proves my point that the Northshore is rife with mediocre experiences and the nilla wafers do not know what good food is. That being said, if you want something quick and simple it's substantial.

I placed an order, and It was canceled. Because of this, I lost the promo code I was using. Definitely won't come here in the future. Oh and I was still charged all the same, have to wait 3 days for a refund

I recently visited Pacos Tacos for the first time and tried their "Penny" – a delightful street chicken quesadilla with melted chihuahua cheese sandwiched between two flour tortillas. The flavors were authentic, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommended for a genuine Mexican food experience.

The dining experience met expectations with a commendable range of menu items. While some offerings were portrayed as unique, adding lettuce to nachos seemed neither novel nor inventive. The establishment lacked the desired liveliness during our visit.

This place is great! Finally, a really good (and slightly different) Mexican restaurant in Mandeville. The Pacos & Rock Tacos are wonderful. I love the salsa bar, and the queso is also wonderful. The margaritas are maybe the best around. Definitely put this one on your list if you haven’t been.

Birria was good but everything else was so so. Maybe it was an off day. Will be back soon

Today was our first time to eat at Paco’s Tacos and it exceeded all our expectations! The Rock tacos were amazing! We plan on making lots of trips back to try everything on the menu. The service was excellent and really fast. We thought the food was far better than any other Mexican restaurant in the area. If you haven’t been there yet, you are missing out!

Not so much a restaurant as an upgraded taco stand but I'm totally fine with that. Its a great no-frills place to grab some great tacos. Reminds me of my days in Los Angeles and the hole in the wall taco stands that served the best tacos and mexican food. The Rock Tacos were excellent.

The food is tasty. I would rather if the chicken and beef was larger strips and not chopped chicken and chopped beef. I like that they have a salad bar style for lime, pico de gallo and a great selection of sauces. And omg refilled horchata!!!

What a great traditional Mexican food restaurant. The food is so so so good. The Rock Tacos are incredible so much flavor and the meat is just so tendor. The staff here is so much fun especially Carlos and he can answer all your questions about the food. If your a cheese lover the Costa is the dish for you. Everything we had was unique and flavor and style.

Paco's Tacos is a wonderful addition to the Mandeville area. If you meal prep or watch your diet for fitness/nutrition, this is the best option for you in the area. I used to go to Chipolte for a very easy Rice-Chicken-Veggies (no toppings) bowl. They would constantly cut serving sizes well below the advertised limit. Here, I get the 5 taco, grilled chicken meal, no tortillas. It's always 8.0-8.5oz of chicken, with grilled onions (google onion benefits), and I supplement with the toppings bar (light salsa, veggies, etc). You can choose various meat options (steak, etc). Lastly, from the first day I visited, Carlos, was hospitable, and everyone calls everyone by name (by everyone, I mean the customers). It's refreshing and reminds me of a service we lost long ago. Great rewards program too. Highly recommended!

We got the Rock Tacos and the Prickly Pear/Classic Margarita mixed into one (frozen, recommended by the restaurant) and everything was excellent! Great taste, authentic, speedy service; just exemplary across the board. They have a nice salsa bar with various heat levels & also allow dogs on their patio (which our Golden Retriever enjoyed). The owners son (Carlos) was incredibly hospitable and we will most certainly be returning for multiple occasions!

My husband and I stopped here on a whim for the first time today and WOW the food is amazing! It's a small taco stand type establishment, counter service only, limited menu, but has all the flavor you could ask for! Plenty of seating inside and outside, staff is super friendly and helpful, very clean, well lit from all the big windows, and it's pet friendly!!! I got the Penny (quesadilla) and it was delicious, very cheesy, lots of grilled chicken, and plenty of grilled onions. It looks small, but you won't leave hungry! My husband got the Rock Tacos and they were incredible! I'll definitely be ordering them next time we visit. We also got an order of roasted plantains for dessert and they were sweet and delicious. My husband got the horchata and I got the hibiscus tea beverage and they were both delightful. If you're looking for basic tex-mex, this place is not for you, but if you like authentic Mexican Cuisine and real flavor, please try this amazing little secret on Hwy 59!

Have the right expectations when going into Pacos. This isn’t your standard Mexican restaurant that’s around every corner in town. This is as close to authentic Mexican street tacos that you’re going to find. Everything we’ve had has been fantastic… but make sure you try the Birria rock tacos. The family run staff are all super helpful and extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. Our family usually goes at least once a week and we’ve yet to be disappointed. Keep up the great work!🌮

First time trying Pacos Tacos and we were IMPRESSED! They do have chips and cheese which are very average, but the TACOS are a showstopper. We had the Rock Tacos, Choriso, Carnitas, Brisket, & Al Pastor tacos. Will definitely be there again for more tacos. Love it!

Such a great addition to Mandeville! I hope they are around for years to come! The friendliest of staff! Delicious fresh food! Rock tacos, the Penny, and the frozen margarita have been my fave so far! Haven't snapped a food pic yet- but I did snag a marg pic! Oh, and there's a salsa bar!!!

I visited your place while visiting from Massachusetts and let just say that your rock tacos were absolutely delicious. I wanted to bring some home. I will definitely visit you again. The cleanliness of your establishment was top notch.

Food was delicious. The menu is small, but what they have is excellent. They have a very small dining area with only 6 to 8 tables so I recommend taking out rather than expecting to dine in, which is my plan for dinner tonight. The only real negative I have is that they had music blasting and I could barely hear them, no way I could carry on a conversation.

Update: They now have their liquor licenses. Pacos Tacos is a smaller Taco place. The menu is limited to mostly Tacos. The establishment does not have alcohol at the moment of any type because they are waiting on their liquor licenses. The food is good. The eatery is extremely clean. Its located along Highway 59 and in this area is the only Mexican restaruant which is conveniant. You order at the counter, they call your name once food is ready meaning its counter service only. Food was good so I will visit again and recommend but if your looking for an adult beverage with your meal you should wait til the first week of April 2023. They also offer outdoor seating which is always a plus. @mandeville @tacos Also, one last detail, not sure why they used a dog paw in their logo but its tacos not a dog groomer just fyi incase the front of the building confuses you. Enjoy.

Great berries!! Amazing team with a family feel. So friendly and attentive. They take pride (in a good way) in their restaurant. Parking is little bit of a challenge with all the gravel but I was able to work it out.

We were so curious to try this place after seeing the challenges it faced just to open here since Covid. We didn't even know all the behind-the-scenes struggles they faced but witnessed from the street while driving by we saw them trying to open and closed abruptly a few times. Finally we saw them working in the parking lot and open last week so we decided to check it out today with friends after church. This is a family-owned business and they are very friendly. They told us about their opening challenges. No matter what they were determined to open and we're glad they did. The food was excellent and the Spanish drinks were delicious. I recommend trying the hibiscus tea, orange or even the white rice drink they were all delicious. The food was very flavorful but keep in mind everything was poquito size meaning very small tacos. The prices were reasonable for the area as well. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. We will definitely go again. Warning. They very recently had new rocks laid over the parking lot and the Amazon van got stuck and was still there when we left. Be very careful about the parking situation, maybe bring some boxes or lumber in the back of your car just in case to give you some traction to get out. Both my friends and I didn't have a problem parking on the exit side of the parking lot but the entrance side of the parking lot was like a rock swamp. Also, very limited parking so carpool if you're meeting with friends. It's worth it. My only recommendation: live music and alcohol.

Amazing food and amazing customer service. As a Mexican-American who is new to Louisiana I can say this food is authentic and delicious! The food is priced very well. This will be my new go to spot!

SO good, might go back tomorrow ;p we went for dinner tonight, around 7:45, and there was quite a few people dining outside, inside, and getting to-gos. The counter girl for 'order here' was occupied, but the guy at 'pick-up here' happily waved us over so we could order. Very friendly and great service. We selected 3 sauces, pico, and pickled onions/carrots from the self-service bar and went to a table. The food came out super fast, maybe 5 minutes? The Paco Tacos were suprisingly amazing, the meat so flavorful, cut into perfect sized pieces, a generous scoop of guacamole seasoned well and very fresh, tons of grilled onions on the side. We got them on flour tortillas-super perfect will certainly order them again. We also got a dog house burrito which tasted so gourmet. The skirt steak had a wonderful chargrill flavor/texture, and the outside of the burrito had a cheese crisp. Very tasty and filling. The restraunt was cute on the inside too, red, wood accents, and take a look at the bar! Awesome, thank y'all so much!
