Love this place, and not just because it's the only place in twenty miles that I can get a sandwich. Great burgers, fries, sandwiches.

If I could give a negative 5 rating I would. Upon entering the door we were greeted with no less than 4 people saying, "there's nothing here for you." I have never seen anyone so rude in all my 56 years. I guess they thought we were tourists even though my family has lived here 191 years alongside the Van Zandts. Was hoping to get breakfast for 3 people but I'll never go back again. I'll give all my business to the Cooper Creek store. Used to give all my business to the Vandiver's until they passed away.

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch after fly fishing. Super friendly, cute, quaint atmosphere. The woman behind the counter gave us a tour of her homemade candles (incredible scents!) really wanted to try the key lime save but will save that for next time! Put this at the top of your list next time you’re in Ellijay!

Had the burger all the way with bacon and cheese with loaded fries. They used fresh cooked bacon on the fries instead of cheap bacon bits. They also sell local made candles that smell great.

Great little breakfast, burger and sandwich place! The tots and battered and seasoned fries are crispy and tasty. If you're in a cabin close by they also have some small food items and necessities so you don't have to drive to town. And they're nice folks!!

If you are looking for a quite place to eat the best burgers around....this is your place. Great service, amazing food and lots of gift items to take home. Plus Denver is a pretty cool guy....tell him New Orleans sent you! You won't be disappointed ❤️

A few places like this in the area but none compared. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the patio was stunning. The staff was friendly and I look forward to going back next time I'm in the area. Also really great candle selection!!!

We went yesterday to eat a late lunch. We got there around 3. The note on the door and Google said they are open until 4. The grill closed at 3 so we drove out there for nothing. We also tried earlier in the week just to see that they were closed. I never heard of a Grill & Grocery that was only open a couple days a week. They are more than just a short drive also. We won't try again.

Forgot to take photos. Small country store right off 60 between Suches and Blue Ridge, GA. Stopped midway on a Sunday ride. Had a BLT and some unsweetened tea. Sandwich was great and the service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back next time riding in the area.

Me, my two kids and my mother are here visiting from Orlando and we stopped in for lunch . We were so pleased with the warm greeting . Everyone was so nice and the food was great ! We had the chicken fingers and the 1/2 burger. We will definitely be back !

We are a family of 6 and ate here after tubing down the river. The food was INCREDIBLE! We all ordered Burgers or pulled pork sandwiches and we couldn’t decide which was better. All our kids still swear that was the BEST food they have ever eaten. It doesn’t look like much from the road but we were so glad we stopped and ate. We may make a trip back to Blue Ridge just to eat there again. The owners were there as well and were super kind and welcoming! Love supporting small businesses like this!

Great people and Great Food. We met the owner (also the cook) Denver. Everyone who works there is great. We had a Cheeseburger and sides of Fried okra and French Fries. GREAT! Special orders do NOT upset these guys. My wife and I wanted to half our Burger and Denver Cut our burgers and made my Wife's and mine the way we wanted them. :) Great Job Denver. We'll be back one day. :)

I have eaten at Van Zandt's several times for breakfast and always enjoy the food. Great service from friendly folks! I make it a point to visit whenever I am traveling in the area. They also have a small selection of gifts and goodies for sale. Great view from the porch!

Our 13 year old said, "It's certified bussin'!" Translation = It was excellent. The whole family enjoyed it - even our picky eaters enjoyed it!

Biscuit needs work but everything else is awesome.

We ate breakfast and lunch here. The food was excellent and so was the service. Donna is an outstanding hostess. It was like eating at my granny's house when I was a kid. The "cat head" biscuits brought back fond memories. I strongly reccomend dropping in for a visit.

Great burgers and fries with a stunning view. We bought some home made apple butter that was a big hit. After a hike to a nearby waterfall we were hungry and this breakfast/lunch spot was perfect. Very simple set up but delicious food and friendly staff. Thank you!

If you enjoy the beautiful North Georgia mountains and are in the area you should stop in and give this place a try. The food is simple but very good and the people that are fixing it are great. From the front porch you have a great view of the mountains and the only thing this place is lacking is a hammock to take a nap after you finish eating.

Found this great little spot after hiking to the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge. The burgers were awesome! Fries delicious too. We walked in with 4 minutes to spare before the grill closed and were greeted warmly. Let 8 of us order. If you are near here you must stop in for a bite to eat if you are hungry!!!

Food was AMAZING! We went back two days in a row for breakfast! Everyone was very accommodating. We had a large group with us both days and we had to move two tables together. I was a little hesitant to do this since space was limited but no one made us feel unwelcomed! Definitely will be going back :)

Great little Family Friendly Down home country store had a great breakfast!

Oh man where do I start. I was in Georgia visiting family and we just got done tuning and we got hungry. I looked up places and we found van zandts. The staff were just the nicest people ever the signs are hilarious and the food was soooooo amazing especially the burger and chicken!

This became our go to location during our trip for quick and awesome food! The owners Ashley and Denver are awesome and so friendly! I recommend the 1/2lb burger for lunch or dinner and the grit bowl loaded with all the fixins for breakfast.

The food was so good! We got there the first day they had opened back up. The owners were friendly. They indicated that they had shut down to protect the elderly in the town. We appreciated that they were civic minded and wanted to protect their community. The shakes were amazing, the burgers were delicious, and the hospitality was warm and inviting.

I love this place....I try to visit the area to enjoy the riding on the back roads and try to stop in for breakfast and small talk with the locals every morning that I can. Biscuits are delicious.

If you ever want to walk off the street as a stranger and be welcomed with open arms this is your spot. Three tables and a bar counter with the best breakfast within 10 miles ( only hot breakfast within 10 miles) food was great hospitality was wonderful. Only thing I didn't like was that I found it the day before we leave town. Hitting it up on the morning before we ride back home and putting it on the list to visit back next year when we come back.

Tiny little country store and restaurant with great ambiance, friendly service and tasty food. We waited a bit for breakfast but not too long and the kids enjoyed the cows across the street and the front patio while we waited. Pancakes were good. French toast and bacon were great!!

I stopped by Van Zandt’s with my family for lunch because of a suggestion from someone we met in the area. First and foremost, the people working there are a great asset for the business. They were very friendly and helpful. I wish that every place that I spend my money had personnel like that. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. Anytime in the future that we are in the area we will be sure to stop by.

We have had lunch at Van Zandt’s multiple times at different times of the year. They have a fantastic cheeseburger and fantastic fries! We kayaked with them as well. We had 2 kayaks and rented 2. Denver was super helpful even with loading and unloading our kayaks. The distance on he river is about 4.4 miles (from put in above Van Zandt’s to Sandy Bottom Recreation Center). Such a nice part of the river! I recommend breakfast or lunch just before kayaking or lunch. On vacation, I enjoy getting to know people who actually live in he area. Most of all they are just kind people who really seem to care about giving good products and services to their customers. I think you will enjoy your visit to Van Zandt’s.

Customer service through the roof! This place was incredible! We were promptly greeted and placed our order for two cheeseburgers. We sat in a friendly atmosphere to wait on our food and it was like we sat down in our own kitchen and were served! The food was good too! The burger was huge and made fresh to order and there was a generous portion of fries. We had a great experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick meal in a friendly, customer service centered atmosphere
