Donna's donuts are by far the best donuts anywhere, we now live in Alabama and this is the first place we come, when we visit Michigan!

I had a lot of donuts before, but this place makes me just want to go out of my way and drive there and that's a few hours drive.

The donuts were so fresh. I shared with family and friends. My fave is the Nutty. Then the Moon Rock aka apple fritter. Yummy!!!

Love the donuts but hate waiting. Just left there without any donuts because the line was so long. Only one girl working up front. You would think for the price they would have more counter help. Very disappointed.

A favorite of Genesee county, I grabbed a dozen recently and just wanted to share that they are amazing and worth the stop!

Always on point! They are always fresh because they sell out daily of many of their donut flavors.

Long line, only 2 staff working on a sat morning, out of many top selling donuts, staff very rude to multiple people, many flies in show cases, and very little frosting on donuts like they used to have, very disappointed, really has gone down hill

My kids and I stopped in today, 7/31 for celebratory donuts. Unfortunately, we saw flies INSIDE the donut displays and on the donuts. I asked her if they had doors or something behind the serving desk to prevent this from happening, and she said no! Unsanitary! Yuck 🤮! As we left, there was a swarm of flies by the door. I don't want to eat fly leftovers/droppings. Not worth getting sick! Otherwise, good donuts.

The donuts are just not as good as they used to be and there charging over premium prices!! Not sure if me or my family will go back

Overpriced. Rude cashier. It's gone done hill in the past 10 years and all the doughnuts are greasy and dry.

We went to Donna's Donuts last Saturday about 8:40 am. It was lined up to the doors/exit. They have bank style lines that wind in the store. There were only 2 ladies working the counter, but they were quick. We bought 3 dozen, the cost was over$70+. It is $23.40 per baker's dz now. It's $1.95 per donut. The order was good except 5 chocolate covered cake Donuts were missed even though I'd read them from my list. With 3 big boxes of Donuts, we didn't notice until we were back out in Lapeer!

Such a great place! Its a must if you're in the area.

Nothing like the original owners, doughnuts are not moist but taste like 3 days old. Nothing much good to say.

Local staple with good variety. They have classic cake doughnuts such as nutty, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate sprinkle in tandem with custard, cream, vanilla, strawberry, mocha, and many more. I visited during the week and they had a consistent line. The customer service was kind and they accept both cash and card. I walked out with half a dozen doughnuts for just over $12.

Large donuts with a huge variety of flavors.

Good donuts so far in Michigan (only been in Grand Blanc for four years). Unfortunately, it still doesn't compare to Daylight Donuts and that is my top rated donut chain (in Oklahoma)

It's a Mother's Day tradition to get the wife donuts as part of her breakfast in bed. When I'm here the line is usually long, but for good reason. The donuts are especially delicious and there are so many varieties to choose from. They have quite the operation going.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review from 5 stars to 3 due to the employee I keep receiving poor treatment from everytime I'm there. She's always rude to everyone and in a bad mood. For the price, I'll just go somewhere else where I won't be treated like a nuisance.

Donuts are always fresh and delicious!! The staff is amazing. It's very clean. They are so popular, it's amazing how many donuts they sell. But, I seldom have to wait and if I do it's only a few minutes. It's worth the wait for these wonderful donuts. The selction they offer is great. The parking is in their own lot, right next to their building. Love this place!

My wife said "if I die in the next hour, let everyone know I died happy" and I agree with her. Donuts are great and lots of choices.

I worked near and visited Donna's Donuts for 30 yrs. There's not a better donut place around. I've since moved to Arizona where I still have ordered donuts to be shipped to me. Every time I come back to Michigan to visit family, I always stop in.

Donna’s is a go to for most Burton people. They do have a huge selection of donuts and kind staff but very over priced considering meijer donuts are just as good for $.75 a piece rather than $1.95 at Donna’s. I get that it’s a family owned business but that still seems like a bit much.

Best donuts ever made, but with that said I noticed that they are not putting as much cream filling in the donuts but still recommend.

Old school bakery vibes, & on a Sunday at 8am a line out the door for some amazing donuts!! The line works fast and the service is beyond friendly, like you just stepped back into time.

This place is definitely not the same anymore. Really disappointing honestly and as far as the pricing……. Literally smh and throwing the doughnuts away I got yesterday because they were nasty and dry.

I LOVE Donna's Donuts! Always have! But the service the last trip was terrible. The front workers were quiet and then got frustrated when asked to speak up. Very impatient and rude. Everyone in line that was waiting was so happy to be there then once they got to the front of the line they were not even greeted... Just. "how many and which ones". I hope they get better people in there to work the front. 😥

There should be a Donna's Donuts in every city lol. The staff is great , the place is clean, the cost is lower than you'd imagine. THE DONUTS THOUGH!!!! GAWD DANG ARE THEY GOOD. I've got a name change suggestion, Donna's Crack donuts lmao. Them suckers! Man o Man if they weren't already so cheap, they'd have ya contemplating sinful ways to acquire them 😆😆😆 Im almost ashamed to admit the last dozen I got, I hid 2 of them from everybody else, after picking the one I wanted to eat at that moment, which was the pb&j🫠. After hiding and eating my stashed donuts, I realized they have given me justifiable reason to continue stashing a couple everytime lol.

Prices are way to high 25 dollars for a dozen donuts but they are real good just way over priced

Finally tried Donna's since I purchased a "seize the deal". Nothing special about this donut shop. I will be returning to my local place. Cream and custard filled donuts were lacking filling, moon rock was so hard it was inedible.

The donuts are the best around! Generously sized and absolutely delectable! Fair price for an extremely quality product! Staff is friendly and fast 10/10 recommend!

Rude girls. Rude. Coming here for years. Shorter one doesn't look you in the eye. Two girls couldn't get through about 5 orders over the course if about 40 min. Where are the other polite happy and efficient girls? Every time a person ordered one or two donuts (after waiting 20-30 minutes in line) she would rudely say 'is that all??' Not like there was a huge selection or anything popular available on a late Saturday morning!? What happened to your store!! No one wants fruit filled with a slab of crud on top...powdered sugar if you haven't noticed. Yes, I'm angry. Tired of being served by low class chip on their shoulder for no reason than 'thinking' she is better than anyone else. WRONG. Do your job nicely politely efficiently or GET ONE YOU LIKE IF THAT'S POSSIBLE. Sit her attitude in the back and let her wait a few hours to be fired as you don't look at here in the eye and treat her as if she is totally wasting your time. And then take three months to get her last check to her. Keep these rude entitled (especially the short one) around and your business will be closed before summer is even over. I have been coming for years. I won't be back.

their website has been down for over 6 weeks. they got rid of the old school donut shop and tried to be modern. still must be working the kinks out i guess after a few years.

Donnas is a longtime staple in my area. I miss the days of being able to go inside Donna's and sit down to eat and have a donut and coffee. Now it's just a crowded line to spend almost $25 for a dozen donuts. Donuts are still very yummy

Best place for donuts in miles. A little pricey, but they are large and fantastic. It does take some time to make it through the line. This is due to the amount time it takes people to decide on which 13 donuts they want. This is the only downside of having so many tasty items to choose from!

Sad to say but I’ll never be back. Used to be the one place I would recommend to everyone but after this last time I wouldn’t trust this place. Coming from someone who works in the food service industry, the practices held at this establishment should be looked into. Not only every time I have came here was there a plethora of fruit flies flying around the building, in the open air cases. But the worker packaging everyone’s donuts up was actively hacking over everyone’s open box before handing it to them. I visited on march 5th at 2:15pm please go over proper health code rules with your employees. Not only did I walk out without a purchase because of this, but so did another women ahead of us in line. We were considering leaving but thought we made the drive may as well stay and see but after the women ahead of us walked out in anger saying “I can’t do this, that is disgusting” that was enough for us to also leave cause we weren’t the only ones thinking that. Again please review proper health code practices with your employees. I’ll never return wish I could give 0 stars.

Donuts were really good pretty fresh even tho it was towards the end of the day. Alot of the donuts were gone but they still had quite a few left.

Always loved Donna's Donuts Until recently the last 2 times I run in to get a dozen Donuts it has taken 25 minutes to get waited on.If it was due to the people in the facility getting Donuts would be one thing but standing in line while they wait on people on the phone in my book is terrible customer service. If you have a phone business than have someone to handle the phone you do not leave customers that took the time out of there life to waste 25 minutes in line while you handle phone calls. This is just such a rude way to handle loyal customers in your facility. You need to do a better job training your counter people on how to manage customer flow. Not sure I'll be a return customer after all these year's. Please try and do better. If you value your business.

Someone once said to me "It is amazing what you can get with a dozen of Donna's Doughnuts". He was correct anyone from this part of Michigan will do just about anything for you for Donna's Doughnuts ;)

Both times I've been in the counter person has been pleasant and happy. The selection is a little non-standard but it's not west coast/voodoo donut non-standard. Coffee was terrible on both visits.

I am trying to figure out how you stay open to 10 pm when 85% of the offerings are gone before 10 am? I didn't even stay to order because I knew by the time the other 5 people in front of me had placed their orders, there wouldn't be any options I would consider.

Waited 45 minutes for donuts because the white lady with brown hair thinm one of the owners maybe had to take her kid to school when there’s a literal line out the door. How ridiculous then she proceeded to pack up a 6-7 dozen order for her coworker that was picking up an order later instead of helping the ONE lady packing up donuts for in store customers that were getting very irritated!. WILL NKT BE RETURNING after seeing your failure of responsibility this was our spot but screw that! Maybe if you hired more then $12hr you’d actually get help. F y’all

Hands down best donuts in the area. We eat them regularly. I don't like donuts that well but from here it's a total different story.

Have been going to Donna's donuts for many of decades. Traveling all the way from Howell, Michigan which is 45 minutes away just to get a good donut. But I can say after they sold it to the new owners. Quality of people that they employ are horrible now. The quality of donut in my opinion has also gone down. It used to have that old fashioned touch. It no longer has that. I will be no longer making the 45 minute drive to get these donuts. Just don't taste the same and the customer service that I got last time I was there was horrible.

This is a go to donut shop if you’re in the Burton, Grand Blanc or Flint area. Real donuts not the Tim Horton junk donuts and lots of flavors to choose from. Can’t go wrong

Smells and taste absolutely amazing!

Been going here since 1985. Since the new owners took over, the donuts have gone waaaay downhill, have less fosting, and are extremely tasteless. I waited 20 minutes in line too. Meijer has better donuts. Go back to how u use to make them, or just stop making them altogether. It's disgraceful at this point. Or change the name and logo, stop lying to the people.

I haven’t been to donnas in almost two years because of the flies I saw landing on ALL of the donuts. I came to look at the reviews to see if they had gotten any better but it seems like the fly problem has gotten worse almost two years later!? It seems like they must be breeding and laying eggs somewhere to be so many flies that they put fly traps in the cases with the donuts. So the owners know of the infestation and instead of shutting down to exterminate and clean, they put traps in with the food they serve. That is nasty, careless and shows exactly how they feel about their customers. The health department needs to know about this.

The prices are way out of hand . A dozen doughnuts $23.00. $1.75 each. Are you kidding me. I will not return.

Have always been a fan! They are hands down the best around. Would be nice if you could purchase bottle water. Coffee and water are all donuts need…. Ever! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Owners father would be very proud of her and how she has kept the traditions there while adding new flavors!!!!
