The Amendment is a great bar and Amy is the best bartender we've ever met!

Really cool small jazz bar. I had the In Other Words cocktail and thought it was the best cocktail I had on my weekend trip to NOLA. I hope I can return and try more.

Small bar can hold maybe 50ppl. Live Jazz even on Sunday. Drinks are very strong here! Bartender and security were very kind and easy to talk to.

We stopped in to check out the live music at this bar, and let me tell you - Anna Quinn the singer for the band had the most angelic voice. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to her and the band! Very talented crew. The bartenders got to us right away as well, which is always a huge plus! When we come back to Nola, we will definitely go to this bar again!

Quaint little jazz bar with some great mood lighting and live music. The music wasn't overwhelmingly loud letting you still engage in conversations without yelling. The drinks were awesome, a little pricey but definitely worth it!

I ordered a glass of Pinot, for $12 a glass no less, and it obviously was sitting in an already opened bottle for who knows how many days. Was a small pour too. My girl ordered a $14 gin and tonic that was tiny. NO VALUE here at all. Way overpriced small drinks. I felt robbed when the bill came with added taxes and I felt obliged to tip.

Live Jazz, chill mood and amazing cocktails. The bartender made me a French 75 with cognac and I was impressed with his skill. I watched him make two technically difficult cocktails at the same time and he really knew what he was doing. Will recommend again.

Great small bar in the Quarter. Colin was making excellent cocktails and we enjoyed the classic Vieux Carre. Had a jazz pianist playing upbeat and fun jazz to give the place a fun vibe.

Great atmosphere, good drinks. A few online articles described this place as the "speakeasy" however that is in error. This location however was very comfortable, and worth a look and a few beverages.

Really good authentic find in an area of ‘Disney’ New Orleans. The room where the bar and music is played is small but cosy. The atmosphere is great. The band playing was ‘Jackie Blaire and the Hot biscuits’ who were excellent - not too loud and great fun. The cocktails were expertly made and very flavoursome. Plenty of alcohol as well!

Bartender women is the best of the all New Orléans she made my holiday happier than anything else

One of my favorite spots in NOLA. Always has great live music and good cocktails. I've never had any food there so cannot comment. Not a huge place, so seating is a bit limited.

Probably one of the coolest spots to come grab a drink and listen to music. Awesome environment and enjoyed the drinks. They had jazz the entire time I was there and it was so much fun. Didn’t try the food.

In among the crazy vibe of the French Quarter this is a really chilled place, great music, great vibe and wonderful bartenders. Genuine NOLA experience.

Ended our trip with drinks here. Drinking here had such a great atmosphere and the bartenders were amazing! Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks. The theme of this place was great and having live music play was nice! Would come back here again if I end up back in town.

One of the regular spots pre pandemic and was excited to be able to come back to this quaint spot with live music. I was able to get a bar seat in the corner after waiting for a few moments. Drinks were affordable and delicious. Live music was enjoyable with multiple sets by the band through the entire evening. Definitely recommend for those looking for a different venue for some live music

Eine kleine gemütliche 1 Raum Bar einer wirklich tollen Jazzband "Marty Peters and the Party Meters"die nicht nur durch ihre Musik sondern auch durch ihren lockere, witzige Art sehr viel Pluspunkte gesammelt hat. Auch die beiden Mädels hinter der Theke waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kein Anflug von Streß oder Unfreundlichkeit. Wir hatten das Glück zu dritt einen Platz an den Stehtischen allerdings mit Barhockern versehen zu ergattern und waren somit ganz vorn dabei. Die Getränkepreise sind halt wie sie sind in den NOLA. Das Entertainment ist jeden Mittaag und Abend anders. Wir waren am Donnerstag da, falls ihr euch von der Qualität der Band überzeugen wollt

I went in for a glass of wine solo and some rowdy guys came in and the bartender blamed me for their behaviour and cut me off. I didn't even know them. I was paying cash and tipped him very well. The guys were young college type not in my age group or my types. No more for me at this place

It’s a small authentic bar just off bourbon st. They have great original cocktails, the bartender hustled, they had the big Lebowski on the TV. If you don’t give this place 5 stars, I’d counsel introspection.

Coolest spot before hitting Bourbon. If you want more of a vintage swanky style bar scene with delicious cocktails without actually going down Bourbon and younger crowd, this is one of our fav spots when we visit. They even have some great live music as well.

Fantastic bar with heavy handed drinks and easy direct passage way from Hotel Mazarin but still accessible from the main streets! Went on 3-4 different nights during my trip because of the friendly staff, tasty drinks, and live jazz music in the evening were amazing! Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting.

Great place to hang out. Music is always good. Has a great NOKA feel. And now they have started carrying Modelo which makes me want to come back

Great quiet local upscale bar great jazz funky drinks

STELLAR✨ we passed by this place while trying to find a nice quiet place with live music to grab a drink, there was a duo doing folk music which was absolutely outstanding. We also loved the cocktail menu and house made syrups, the bartender was literally making syrups in-between drinks and conversation👌🏻their was an oustanding chai, cranberry, cinnamon drink that I could drink for the rest of my life and be content with. This is an absolute gem of a place. If you’re looking for a quieter, jazzy place full of character and quality service - this is it.

Stellar cocktails, with bartends that know what they’re doing. I can be fairly picky about drinks (coming from an area where there’s a distillery around every corner), and this location did not disappoint. A solid selection of classic and specialty beverages, and more than capable of mixing your favorite off-menu option. I plan to make this spot a regular stop anytime I find myself in the French Quarter. After visiting the highly recommended Carousel Bar, the 21st Amendment provides just as tasty of options, with a price point that allows for another round (or two), in comparison. Hang out for awhile , enjoy the life music, or order a takeaway beverage. A great experience all around.

Honestly this was a proper 5 star experience. I’m a tourist who arrived earlier than my friends, so I went to carousel bar, which was packed and not a great vibe, so I wandered over here. As I stepped inside to peek at the jazz band, the bartender excitedly waived me into the one open seat. I tried the La Lousina, night tripper, and the cigars and marmalade, all which were fantastic. The bartenders were fabulous, the band was amazing and overall I had a really wonderful time. Highly recommend!

I frequently stop at 21st Amendment— nice little speakeasy in the Quarters + they often have a live band playing when they’re open. Drinks have always, always been great each time I’ve been. Service is always great as well! The owner is super inviting. This is a perfect place to grab drinks w| your boo before or after hitting the streets.
