Delicious everything, the bone broth was excellent.

we were surprised by how good the noodle soups were at this place, in a small town in Maine! The Dan Dan noodles were very tasty with lots of peanut butter and crumbs in the soup and the veggie ramen was very good as well. Legit Asian noodles!! Glad we stopped by.

Great restaurant! The service is fast, the food is delicious and the price is decent! love the dumplings so much, they are cheap and super filling and delicious. The staff is really attentive wich is nice so you don't have to hunt down the bill when you need to pay. I have gone here probably over 20 times and the food has always been delicious. Would definitely recommend if you don't wanna sell your kidneys for some good dumplings.

Yum!! Freshly cooked, flavourful broth. Had the Dan Dan noodles and spicy beef noodles. Also the spicy short ribs. Very clean and beautiful restaurant. Excellent service.

Crab Rangoon, and ribs are literally to die for best we’ve ever had.

We happened upon this hidden gem and have continued to frequent it since. This is a small restaurant run by a local family. Even though the menus is small, everything on it is delicious! We’ve tried it all. For appetizers we usually get the spare ribs, which have a slight spicy flavor. They are so good! The lobster rangoons are probably my least favorite because of too much cheese and not really containing chunks of lobster (more like lobster flavored cheese). My husband craves the Shanghai wonton soup which has a light broth and amazing pork wontons. I always get the Xiaolong Bao, which is a steamed pork soup dumpling. Scallion pancakes are crispy and the pan fried dumplings are so flavorful. Of course, the noodle bowls are the best part. The portions are large so we usually split one. It’s definitely enough for two people. If you are looking to try something local that isn’t seafood focused (you are in Maine after all) then this is the place for you. The staff is amazing and you’ll leave satisfied.

Everything here tastes so good! My favorite is duck ramen. The lobster rangoon was so fresh. Love the dim sum here too. I also highly recommend wonton in spicy peanut butter sauce!

Fantastic noodles, the scallion pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. Dumplings were amazing, better than any I’ve had from DC to Florida to Maine. We had two different types of ramen, one with tender pieces of pork and one with ground beef in a spicy peanut sauce. Will definitely be back, with a small but refined menu, my family and I are going to try the whole menu at some point. Also to add to the commenter complaining about vegan options, pretty sure a tomato broth with vegetables is vegan, just ask for it without the egg? Seems pretty simple to me.

No vegan options. EDIT: Responding to restaurant’s comment. Your vegetable ramen has egg in it, which is not vegan. My review is accurate.

Everything was delicious at 518 Noodle Bar! We went for dinner and loved everything we ordered. Tasty apps (crab rangoons & dumplings), fun cocktails, and a solid variety of entrees (ramen, noodle dishes, meat & vegetarian options). Staff was also so friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely go back!

Restaurant found by chance during our trip. was beautiful discovery. Authentic and great food. One of the best ramen I’ve ever eaten. We also took a portion of DIM SUM to divide and they were delicious. The service was efficient and the maid was very kind. Highly recommended.

A truly unique and incredible restaurant, incredible Ramen along with an array of amazing apps and small dishes for sharing. They Make great mixed drinks as well and not overpriced at all. Worth a visit if you're in the area, especially for a true taste of Asian cuisine

518 Noodle Bar was recommended to me by a friend. I went on a Sunday night and experienced no wait time. The restaurant was extremely clean and well decorated. The service was efficient, and our waitress was very kind. The menu is simple and offers very affordable options. We ordered to appetizers that arrived quickly to our table. They were both amazing, and it was obvious that very fresh ingredients were used. The udon ordered was also fresh and tasty. The portions are large, so expect to take some home (or arrive to the restaurant hungry!). I was shocked that more people were not there, and I hope that maybe it was just due to the day of the week that I went, because this place deserves some serious recognition! If you live in the area, or are passing by, I strongly encourage you to check 518 Noodle Bar. I will be going back soon.

Maine's best kept secret!!! Amazing food!!! They have the very best crab ragoon and lobster ragoon i've ever had. Their wanton soups and wanton with peanut sauce to die for!! Thought they were closed but they’re not. Like most restraunts they struggle getting through Covid but they stuck with it and i wish them well.

They immediately gave us ice waters, off to a great start. After reviewing the menu, we decided on the following: -Seafood Salad: not my normal go to, but my wife likes it and compared to previous tastings at other restaurants/supermarkets this was by far the best I've had. -Crab Rangoon: I'm a huge Rangoon fan and I can say after trying every place in the area, these are the standard for crab rangoons in at least a 30 mile radius. Phenomenal. -pork ramen: big flavor, and it gets tastier as you go. The half an egg is a beautiful touch. Very filling. The Scorpion Bowl is a rare outlier for this type of cocktail. Typically these types of beverage will be very acidic, but this was perfect. I'm as much a scorpion bowl enthusiast as I am a Rangoon enthusiast. Don't miss out on this bowl of flavourful drunken glory. Highly recommend this spot. The two women working there were most kind and service was excellent. We went early so there weren’t other customers, but the restaurant is clean and looks great.

518 Noodle Bar is fantastic! I'm a local and had totally missed this spot. While they had been taken out only they just reopened for dine-in (as of 5/1/2023). Food is fantastic. Authentic. Very well prepared w quality ingredients. Great portions. Very good prices. The restaurant area is well designed and new. Staff is amazingly attentive to needs. Limited parking in front but plenty out back. Worth the stop!

I have tried almost everything on the menu. You can't go wrong. Takeout is quick and easy. The ladies who work here are always so sweet and kind. Recommend beef lettuce wraps, xiaolong bao, pork buns, lobster rangoon, shanghai wonton, hunan spare rib, spicy beef ramen.

Currently open for takeout, but looks like a fun little hangout spot. Quality in presentation for takeout was excellent. Food fantastic. Had the pork and the duck ramen, shu mai, crab rangoon and wontons in peanut sauce. Everything was outstanding. Don't miss this on your drive down route 1, worth the stop.

Have had take-out here a few times now and everything has been great, lobster Rangoon are a favorite. Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Every time we pickup takeout we are greeted with incredibly kind staff! The food is so delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I would eat from here all the time if I could. I also very much appreciate the prices and the portions. It’s wonderful to have an authentic Chinese restaurant in the area, and everything is made with love and care. 518 Noodle Bar is the best!!

The asain food here is excellent! Everything I have tried has been fresh and delicious. Definitely the best on the seacoast in my opinion and the ladies who work here are very nice :)

Fabulous! We ordered dumplings, har gow, Beijing noodles and Duck noodles. Everything was fresh, incredibly tasteful, and I'm very much looking forward to our next visit!! Can't wait until we can dine in!!

518 Noodle Bar is wonderful. Takeout only and packaged delightfully with broth on the side to pour over at home. This ensures your meal isn't ruined if you have a long drive or don't get right to it after pickup. Wonderful owners and establishment.
