Some of the most fresh tasting sushi I’ve had. Restaurant was extremely clean as well.

Great staff, incredible food, and amazing staffs. Overall the sushi’s were literally delicious to the bone. The staffs are extremely nice to their costumers, the food does not take long to be served out and they have excellent menu items. Their restaurant is clean; everything looks well put together, it’s at the affordable price, and even though their sushi takes short time to be made, their sushi’s and materials are very fresh. I would definitely recommend their extremely delicious egg rolls; it’s delicious.

First time visitor. Ordered Hibachi Chicken w/ fried rice + Pork Gyoza and was happy with everything. They do not have Yum sauce but it turns out I didn’t really need it because the chicken came in a garlicky sauce to put over rice. During pickup they were kind, accommodating and had all items packaged nicely to avoid spills.

I had my food delivered from this restaurant, yesterday, for the first time. It was scrumptious, hot and arrived on time! I discovered Ai Sakae via yelp. I am SO Pleased that I did!

Extremely fresh! The best sushi I’ve had. Their non-sushi entrees (teriyaki beef, for example) are also fantastic. Every ingredient is high quality, fresh and delicious. The chefs are willing to work around dietary restrictions as well. We have eaten at the restaurant and we’ve ordered take out several times, and have not been disappointed.

Interesting local eatery. Actually I was surprised to find it here in Denville but pleasantly so. The food was utterly delicious, fish was fresh and very very tasty. The service was top notch. My daughter who is very picky about her sushi dishes inhaled them, which is a testament in and of itself. The ambiance is very simple since the place is basically like a hole in the wall but very tasteful and clean.

I ordered food hours ahead because I had a busy day and a very short lunch. I got a confirmation for time and date and paid ahead. When I arrived not only was the food not ready, I ended up leaving 20 mins after my scheduled pick up time. They told me it was the websites fault. I showed them the confirmation I was sent from the email and said I had ordered through their website. I felt like the person I talked to was blaming me for my food not being ready for using "the wrong site" even though I explained many times I used their website. I finally recieved the food but was shocked they didn't apologize or even try to offer me a water or do anything to compensate me. I ended up being late to work. Most disappointing was when I was finally able to eat, you could tell they rushed my food and it wasn't great. This isn't the first time this has happened either. The first time, I figured it's ok, things happen. But this is the second time and the fact that they claimed it was my fault was hurtful. Overall extremely disappointed with service and food.

The quality of food has gone down so badly since they opened that I initially gave them 5 stars and now rank them at 2. Expensive shrimp and scallops had mostly broccoli!

How did I drive by here for so many years? The food is awesome. Portions are on the smaller size, but is made up by the quality of the food. I have never had such large fresh shrimp on Singapore noodles. Try the hamachi collar. I was heartbroken when my favorite Japanese restaurant closed in NY years ago, and here I can get it close to home. I have tried their sushi and Thai food and they do it all superbly. The roasted mussels appetizer is my new favorite food.. I'm not a fan of large screen TVs overwhelming a dining room without the TV, it would almost qualify as fine dining.

First time visiting, but noticed a lot of regulars picking up take out. Excellent selection of rolls with very friendly service and super fast. They even included a bowl of miso soup while I was waiting. Will absolutely come back! Am a sucker for spicy rolls worth fresh jalapeño, these were a step above most places.

We ordered Chinese takeout. Not a fan of sushi. It was ready on time. Tasted good but a little too spicy for me.

We love the people and the food here. We are regulars, ordering either Sushi or Chinese or Thai food weekly. They do it all equally well.

My family’s goto place for a nice asian cuisine. Service is always spot on and always a welcome treat during special occasions.

Did lunch takeout from this place. Never have had sushi this bad. Fish was weirdly liquidy(old?) And we got bones in our salmon and eel rolls... the rainbow roll was ok I guess. Too many decent sushi places within a 5 minute drive to go here again. Dissapointed

Last time I was here, was about a few months ago when I invited my college friends. We’ve been busy with our lives that we never get to see each other, so we made it a point to all meet up since we all wanted different cuisine. Luckily this restaurant offers all 3 different cuisine. There was 5 of us and the staffs was very accommodating since we came on a weekday and we set right away. We started with some appetizers like the baked mussels, tempura oysters. Then we had order a few rolls, like the Neal roll, Jessica roll, tango mango roll, my favorite. Ask for their sushi roll bible! then we order a few dishes to share. The pad Thai was on point. We also had the general Tso chicken and Thai curry which is spicy and flavorful. The waiter introduced to us their signature dish that’s named after the store itself, ai Sakae beef, of course we had to try it . We were all so full that we all had so much leftovers. they also had so much desserts from mochi, gelato to fried ice cream and boba teas. 😋😋which we declined since we were full.

Our first time and certainly not our last! Absolutely delicious food choices, especially the specialty sushi rolls. Lovely, attentive service with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed our food so much that we placed a few more orders to go. This is easily now one of our go-to’s for quality casual dining.

Such an amazing place with great food! Ended up here on new year’s eve after we tried to go to Miga and it was packed, and thank god we came here! The atmosphere is great, the service is amazing and the food is top notch! Highly recommend getting the forget me not roll and scallion pancake. Will definitely be back!

Staff is very pleasant, menu is varied with many types of Asian cuisine. We have ordered lots of sushi and sashimi, and I have never been disappointed, although I wish some sauces had less sugar. Really like the egg drop soup. They are typically busy and do a lot of takeout. The place is small. I would recommend a reservation. It is casual and BYO.

I love their Japanese Chicken Rice!

Did a take-out lunch order. Food was ready when promised. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Did a variety of sushi rolls. All tasted super fresh and prepared nicely. Rice was just right. Also had the Pork Gyoza. Very delicious and the dipping sauce was great. All in all a great lunch.

I felt like I knew our server because he was so sweet! The food was perfect best crunchy and big shrimp. Great value and quality food!! I loved the cozy feel and amazing service! We got the shumai, various soups, drunken noodle, and hunan shrimp. Ask them for chili sauce!

My wife and I have now been here 4 times, certain to order various items from across their three Asian cuisines. Each dish, from raw, cooked or cold, were spot on from both a flavour and presentation profile. The wait staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, willing to bend over backwards to please the customer. I find it rather funny how someone who can give this one star does not understand the process of velveting beef. I had a good laugh. This has become a favourite for us!

Excellent local Japanese and other Asian restaurant. The hibachi dinners, though cooked in the kitchen are better than others locally that cook in front of you. The eel sushi was excellent.

If you like fresh sushi, sashimi & cooked fish give this place a try. They also have plenty of meat dishes, soups & noodles to choose from also. Since I'm on a special diet this restaurant had no trouble switching from what listed on the menu & replacing it with another item that suited my diet. The prices are good and the owners are very nice people as well. Well worth a try for lunch or dinner....

I was shocked to see a 4.9 star review however we just ate there for the first time and they deserve the 5 stars! Service was excellent and food was fresh and delicious. We loved it!

We ordered Thai and the dishes were greatly portioned and flavorful. Servers were polite and attentive. A vast Asian fusion menu with many options and cuisines. Although on the smaller side, the place was bright and modern with high ceilings making it an enjoyable atmosphere.

Sushi is always fresh and delicious. I often order their sushi roll lunch specials and they never disappoint. Bubble teas are very good as well. The staff are always attentive and very friendly!

I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box. So good and very filling. The pork gyoza was delicious. The service was great. We didn't have a wait at all to get seated. I will definitely be returning if I am ever back in this area.

Whoever was the hot chef and sushi person today, Saturday, at 1130am was terrible compared to all my other visits.

Wonderful little place with amazing food. We had the Vegetarian Gyoza (which our 15 month old loved! 🙂), Green Tea roll, AAC roll (both vegetarian) and the Kiss of Fire roll (tuna). Everything was fresh and delicious. They also have Thai and other Asian food options. The staff is very courteous and friendly, our little one had a blast too!

The new spot! I love asian fusion so naturally I'm eating here. The sushi is perfect and so is the thai cuisine! Would definitely reccomend!
