Food and service were amazing! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

Really good Mexican food in a little tiny building near in White Cross. The owners are wonderful and have been friends of my family for 20 years. It won't break your budget.

Very reasonably priced Mexican food. Not sure it’s as authentic as some other people have commented. I had the shredded beef burrito. It was a very wet burrito and tasted good. Portion size was good, did not skimp on meat. Prices here are very reasonable. The atmosphere is not great. There’s a loud drone coming from the AC or refrigerator, not sure which. Spartan decor and seating. We saw a lot of take out orders while we dined. That’s probably the way to experience the food here.

Definitely not the best Mexican food in Hillsborough, and the place was understaffed the night we were there. As the 3-stars say, "It's okay."

The food is just OK. I grew up in Dallas so I'm used to really good Tex Mex food and this just isn't up to my standards. I had a combination plate with a Chile Relleno, taco, and enchilada. The flavor was sub par and the portions smaller than I'm accustomed to. The bunuelos were a disappointment. I expected donuts but what I got seemed like dry fried flour tortillas sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and honey. However, the service was good, with the owner pitching in to take care of customers. Although I give the atmosphere only 3 stars that's about what I expect for a place like this. For the money I think Guanajuato is a better restaurant.

THE BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I got the burro Mexicana with barbecoa (without the hot sauce because it is HOT and my tongue turned bright red just from dipping the tip of my tongue in it)

Best Mexican restaurant I have, been to in over 40 years. Excellent selection, authentic Mexican food. Large options for vegetarian surprisingly. The food has some real taste and does not feel like coming out of a can. Wish there were more restaurants like this in other states. We definitely will go back to this place when we visit again.

If someone asked me to name the best Mexican restaurant in the Durham/Chapel Hill area "Fiesta Grill" would fly from my mouth without a seconds hesitation. Everything I've ever eaten there has been great. Although the interior is nothing fancy, it's a comfortable place to enjoy truly authentic Mexican food. Excellent and friendly service too. I don't know how they do it. All the food is authentic, consistent, and delicious. Fast, friendly, accommodating service includes no hassle, no extra charge substituons -- which makes fussy diets much more possible than you can imagine for Mexican food. Keto is especially easy. Big surprise! When I drooled into my plate this time, I realized that the $14 cost with full service was FAR cheaper and more delicious than what it costs me to replicate this dish from scratch with everything bought at Food Land. I was considering a meal delivery service because I'm so overwhelmed with work and stress. That would be insane since Fiesta Grill is only 2 miles from my home

I'm a bit of a Mexican food snob. I've lived in the triangle area for almost 20 years and had never found a really good Mexican restaurant until now. This place ranks right up there with the better Mexican restaurants in the Denver area -- my home town. Food and service are outstanding. Only downsides are the place could use a bit of a remodel and it's 35 minutes from South point in Durham.

I have eaten here weekly for the past 15+ years.

Perfect gem of a roadside middle of nowhere Mexican Restaurant. The parking lot always has people in it. The food is delicious and worth the drive. Prices are good and portions are fantastic. The best part is everything tastes fresh. I've always been greeted with an exuberant hello and promptly been handed a menu. The orders are quickly filled and always arrive hot to the table.

I am from San diego and i am blessed with the best mexican food in the nation for years. This place has the best chips and salsa i have ever tasted in my life. Better than the ones in san diego. I absolutely love this place. Historically I couldn’t eat Mexican food as it hurt my stomach, but I have never once had a problem here. It happens to be the closest restaurant to my house and it is phenomenal. The flavor and quality of the food is consistently excellent. Once we found this little gem, we were hooked! Authentic, consistent quality, delicious tacos. We make the 40 minute drive for the fish tacos and beef tacos. Super clean and friendly service. The best in the area!

FINALLY!! After many failed attempts to find even adequate Mexican food (not tacos) in the Triangle area, we finally have a winner. Fiesta Grill delivered. The refried beans were flavourful. The rice was moist and delicious. The chips didn't come out of a bag. The salsa actually had some heat! And they had Mole' and it was fantastic. Very complex and packed with a wide spectrum of flavor. There is not other Mexican restaurant in the triangle that will get my business. This is it. It's a 33 minute drive that I will do without hesitation. ETA: I have been 3 or 4 more times since I posted this and I am still deeply in love. <3 Did I mention how good the Mole' is?

Prices were great. I had nachos and the chicken was yummy but the cheese and sauce on it was not my favorite. I would go back if I was in the area but not drive out of my way to visit.

Likely the most authentic tacos in the Triangle area. A bit off the beaten path and short on decor, it a a true rendition of the tacos we had at a roadside stand in Costa Maya, MX. Family owned and run. I finally got away from my taco habit and ordered the chili relleno, I asked for the spicy option. My Bride got the spinach enchiladas. Both of us had a beer (I had 2). Total, with tip was $35. Everything was great and the service was friendly and quick. Again, it is a bit out of the way, being about 10 minutes west of Chapel Hill on Hwy 54. If you're into it, they have homemade menudo on weekends (not my thing) and ceviche tostadas. Check 'em out and their market across the road, too!

One does not go here for the atmosphere. One goes here for the food!! In my experience, the best food is often found in some little "hole in the wall" joint that you would probably drive right by had it not been for the fact that it was recommended by family or friend. This is that kind of place. The Fiesta Grill has become my wife's and mine favorite Mexican restaurant in North Carolina. Nothing comes close. I haven't had anything as authentic and genuine anywhere else. All I have to do is take one bite of their fish soup and then close my eyes, and I'm right back on the streets of Mazatlan. There isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. It's all outstanding. And the staff is always courteous and friendly. We drive by here all the time & finally we were near here at lunch time. Staff was attentive. Food was amazing. Our burritos were enormous! I took a pix with my fork on it just for measurement. They were delicious. The chips seem like they are actually freshly made from tortillas instead of from a bag. Salsa was perfect. Definitely worth the drive. I can see they do a good takeout business. We got there when they first opened and there were already orders ready for pickup. I noticed their food safety rating was 100 - very impressive.
