I want a burger and found this place by luck. The chef burger is amazing. Perfectly cool and has gongozola inside the burger. Definitely coming back.

Uber drivers DO NOT accept orders from this restaurant when you walk in they lie and tell you 5 minute wait time for the food just for you to see people walk in after you and get their food first. They DO NOT make the orders in the correct order. I waited 25 minutes to get the order and once I did the cook gave me attitude when I grabbed the food from his hand even though I had my hand there hand holding my phone screen facing his face showing him I was confirming the order he yanked the food away from me. What a great attitude especially after making me wait 25 minutes for food. They lie do not make orders on time or in the right order and I was sitting by the bar I could hear people talking in the kitchen almost the entire time overly talking as if they were just messing around and not even doing what they were suppose to be doing. 1/10 service 0 out of 5 stars. As you can see in the screenshot it should not have taken me 39 minutes to finish an order this close to Al Carbon

Wow, this place is great! We had the Mexican stuffed burger with fried and the Churrasco with a salad and sweet potato fries. The burger was thick and juicy with gooey cheese in the middle. It was topped with bacon and guacamole on a toasted bun. The Churrasco was perfectly cooked medium rare and came with a delicious chimichurri. The fries and sweet potato fries were deliciously crispy in the outside and soft on the inside. Even the salad was great with a tangy oil and vinegar dressing, mixed greens and fresh tomatoes. Overall an excellent meal.

Hands down the best burger in Miami

This is a very casual place with very good burgers and churrasco stakes. They also have super cold beer! With frozen mugs! Very good will repeat!

This place has great food but be prepared to wait at least an hour for the food to come out. Small kitchen definitely doesn’t help. Also, do not get delivery! If you order through an app be prepared to wait 1 ½ hours for food to arrive.

I love this place; the best hamburgers in Miami. I particularly enjoyed the blue cheese with caramelized onion, it's just out of this world 🌎. They also have a great bar, great wine and an extensive selection of beers 🍻 Perfect for family gatherings, friends reunion, and anniversary date 🌹

We ordered for pickup a Charcoal grilled skirt steak with French fries and a side of house salad and it was delicious 😋. Perfect temperature as requested.

Cute little spot that serves food til late which is awesome. The food is pretty good but the service isn’t that good, server is nice and polite but I think she either wasn’t trained properly or needs help. Things like a glass of wine take a lot of time, or sides for your order don’t come out with main order for example so you literally sit there with a sizzling steak but no sides for a while. Also, nothing comes with sauce on the side; not the burgers or fries or empanadas… anything! You have to pay if you want any, I asked for chimichurri for my steak but it was so watery, looked weird. I tried this place twice to give it a break about the service since the food is good but I think that’s it for me.

I loved this place as soon as we walked in. We were served immediately and the atmosphere was fun. The only reason the overall rating is four stars is because of our bill. I never considered that we would spend over $200: on lunch. We ordered 4 lunches and I think we had 10 or 11 beers among 5 of us. I don't think the bill should have been over $200, especially since we were there during happy hour!

My go to spot for burgers and churrasco. The tacos are amazing too. Fresh juices and craft beer line up is amazing. The pool table never gets old.

Disgusting. Cockroach ran across my indoor table mid-meal. $10 for 5 of the smallest chicken wings you’ll find in town. The server took off $3 for the wings after I told him about the cockroach. He told me they recently fumigated so the roaches are coming out more often. Simply disgusting. I can only imagine what’s crawling around in the kitchen.

The Best burgers you could have in Miami

We just happened to be in the neighborhood visiting a business near by. We decided to grab some late lunch. I looked and saw Al Carbon sign from afar, there were other restaurants, but I decided to walk over, after reading the menu outside, the dishes sounded appetizing and reasonably priced. First time here. The place is cozy, rustic with wooden tables, billiard table, TVs, etc. they were not too busy, I’m sure it gets busier in the evening. A man came to greet us and offered menus. At first, we were wondering if we’ve made the right choice, we are foodies, but let me say…. We were not disappointed!! The Churrasco (steak) was served in a wood tray with sizzling iron skillet, really sizzling!! 😋😋Tender, tasty, good portion, exactly ‘medium’ as we ordered….delicious. Sides were house salad with greens and red ripe tomatoes. I ordered sweet potatoes fries and my husband regular fries. Everything tasted very good. We finish with a Key lime Pie that was good too. The waiter was polite, he came by a few times to ask if everything was ok. Served us water. A very nice and delightful experience in Coral Gables… We recommend this restaurant. We will be back!

We were seated immediately. Friendly, attentive waiter. Refreshing sangria. Food didn't take long, skirt stake was cooked as ordered, but the hot skillet kept cooking it in at the table, ended up getting hard.

This is one of the most unique and exciting dining experiences in the city, from the eclectic venue with soaring 30 foot ceiling in the old Much Music space with an amazing bar with fabulous cocktails to the most succulent southern BBQ north of Texas! Highly recommend whether for an after work drink, group dinner or even a romantic date night.

I now understand why the restaurant is often empty. I went with my three daughters and wife for a night out on a Friday. My wife and eldest daughter ordered burgers with fries while myself, my toddler and my six year old only had starters. We asked for water but weren’t told they bring you bottle water imported from Greece. My wife ordered a beer and we also ordered two fruit drinks. In all, the bill came to $116.50, which seemed to me high compared to what we ate and drank but makes sense since they charge extra for things like fries for your burger (not saying that it’s ok though). The amount included the service charge, which is really the tip that is now added in all restaurants. However, unlike typical restaurants, the receipt said “does not include tip” which is wrong. Any more money given is “additional tip” as shown in other restaurants. The last straw was their “transaction fee” if you pay with credit card. So we paid cash and tipped what WE felt was appropriate. We’re not coming back.

Amazing food and cuts, the lulo juice is amazing and definitely worth to try. The server was extremely nice and the music playing was old rock and it was just an overall amazing meal. The selection of beers and spirits are also very diverse and well selected.

A wonderful spot to hide out and enjoy a blustery wet evening. Particularly enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates. Grilled chicken was good but nothing special. Friend loved the short rib burger. Service was excellent and became it was such miserable weather we had the place almost to ourselves.

Very good and attentive service by Heather, place was not busy during dinner time, which I actually appreciate and enjoyed. The food was excellent. I had the steak tacos, and the portion was bigger than expected, with good balance between all ingredients. My husband had the churrasco with morcilla. The churrasco was delicious, the morcilla not so much, it was just ok. The online menu showed a kids' menu, which they do not have at all. The brownie with vanilla ice cream was also excellent.

This place leaves one wanting more. The highlight of our meal were the bacon wrapped dates. The fried fish didn’t taste fresh. The burger was too small for the bun, we ripped off half the excess bread that was overhang. What really got me were the $16 “cocktails” that didn’t contain spirits, only wine. We spent $130 for 1 burger, fries, and 2 appetizers and 2 wines each. Kinda steep pricing, even for Miami standards. Not to mention food took about 40 minutes for an empty restaurant.

Hidden transaction charge, unexplained. Slow service, altho only 2 tables of diners. Arrived at 12:10, had to wait 15 minutes to pay bill. Salad good, waiter good,but for delay in payment.

Great time with friends and amazing burgers

The empanadas are getting smaller and smaller, and the price, higher and higher! Their empanadas, both, the cheese and the meat ones, used to be the best .. Not any longer! 😭

Un 2023 this place have made a napoleónic transformation with a new menu including delicious “mollejas” or sweetbreads and other meat cuts . It includes perfectly cold and served beer and great service by a young and amusing staff. The grill cook is a genius!!! It’s great to come back to this Coral Way classic!!

Best burger I've ever had! No hyperbole. Great spot with tons of personality and even better food. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe chill.

We love Al Carbon! Service is outstanding, the environment is very nice, and the food is unbelievable! Make sure you try the grilled octopus, the tuna tartare, the arugula, tangerine and avocado salad, the octopus carpaccio... I could mention the whole menu here, everything is delicious, and very well priced. Highly recommended!

It really wasn't what I expected, we ordered to take out. The surprise for me was how they packed the food in cardboard boxes. I don't see anything safe about food like that. health department I don't think it's acceptable

It was alright but the quality of the food did not match the price tag.

The food and restaurant were good overall. The waitress needs a bit more training. It was hard to get her attention. The place was not busy nor packed but it took a long time to get the food out to our table. Water was never offered neither were refills for the drinks ordered. The bathrooms need work and cleaning. Last but not least, the hand written tip suggestion (of 20% or 25%) on the bill was a real lack of tact. Will try again.

After a tough day at work I got here very hungry just after midnight. Even though they had already closed the kitchen they reopened just for me. I left as a VERY satisfied customer and with a six pack of Victory Golden Monkey beer. Will go back again!

It's a decent price for the quality. The bacon-wrapped, blue cheese-stuffed dates are awesome (~$11). The grouper was just OK, and the octopus was good. Both were around $25, with adequate portion size. We were there late, so the service was lethargic and inattentive.

I have been comming here for sometime now the burgers are great some of the appetizers you can tell are frozen and not all that but definelty must have their burgers.but the service is not good. Every time I go there are new waiters and for the most part with no expirience. Last Thursday I was there the waitress even said she did not know how to open a wine bottle. It is stated that 18% gratuity will be included for parties of 4 or more well we where 3 the waitress still charged the 18% and got nasty when I questioned her. The 18% is not an issue as I ussually tip more the issue is that charging the 18% when we where a party of 3. Thank you for your response but either you did not read completely or did not understand. You policy is gratuity included in parties of four or more your waitress included the tip we where a party of three or she doesn’t know the policy or doesn’t know how to count.

This is my favorite burger spot. The only downside is that their beers are now on very small cups, but the price remained the same. So now you do feel that the beer is overpriced. Besides that, the food is great. The place is nice and chill. And for some reason, its never crowded

Excellent food, but the extra 3-4% charge for using a credit card is a bummer. If you want to incentívate paying in cash (in 2022, ha) do it with rewards or discounts but keep the menu prices accurate.

Nice place with eclectic decor. The food quality was above expectations considering the pricing. The outside dining area is good in the later evening when the temperature cools a bit. I first had their food via Uber Eats and was surprised when I visited the restaurant in person because the food quality had me imagining a large high end restaurant instead of the cozy fonda type place they are. Definitely recommended.

Love The Chefs Burger and the Grilled Octopus over Grilled Romain! If you are a meat lover go for the Churrasco steak or the Land Picada. If you love seafood must try the Corvina ceviche, the chicharron de pescado and the Octopus! This place was recently renovated and now is called Al Carbon Land & Sea! Great Job!

This is my favorite burger place in all Miami.. been coming here since 2010 and it has never disappointed.. local beers on tap, cozy atmosphere and great food.. def try the Hawaiian Burger.... Update: they recently renovated the place and look of the brand... looks great sane great food.

Betty good hamburger, i really recommend it.

The restaurant was not crowded which was nice and we got a nice table. It's very clean but we weren't impressed. The waitress was nice enough but certainly didn't have much energy in her interactions. I got a blue cheese burger cooked nicely but they did not add the caramelized onions and I asked to add bacon which they did but only one piece. You must pay for sides so I chose not to get any. They don't serve iced tea which was disappointing so I just got water which is fine because that's normally my beverage of choice. My older friend got a slider and fries from the children's menu which was more than enough for her. The other two ladies in our group were satisfied with their burger 🍔 choices and we probably won't return. I did order a slice of key lime pie for a bedtime snack, it came in a cute box but it's not really exciting to look at for $6.99. They do have a fabulous front porch with a couple of tables and a nice seating arrangement on the other side and there was a younger couple with their well behaved dog and two toddlers and they appeared to be enjoying the evening 😀

So excited to try this place…. And so disappointed… asked for medium rare. Got well done. Not only was burger meat crazy dry and over cooked the bun was like sandpaper …. The most basic thing in cooking grass fed good beef is not to over cook… Especially when patron says medium rare. No one asked if we were happy or it was cooked right. Not coming back. Over priced food from chef that can’t cook a burger.

Please please avoid this restaurant unless you have pots of money to spare. We have just parted with $166 for 1 starter, 3 burgers, a calamari, 3 juices and 6 cans of coke. We realised the juices were $6.99 each (they were very nice too), we also realised that we were given the hard sell to pay an additional $3 each for grass fed meat (not worth the extra), what we object to is having an 18% service charge added to the bill for being a table of 4 and then still being asked at end to pay a tip as not included! This fact was in block capitals on the receipt. Waitress was nice enough girl but not worth the $23 compulsory service charge plus a voluntary $10 (a lot less than the minimum 15% they suggested on their receipt. That would be 33% in total!!!). In addition we had $5.53 added to the bill for not paying by cash!!! This was absolutely not made clear to us. And who pays cash now post covid? Surely we should be encouraged to make contactless payments? Music was too loud, air con was too cold and food mediocre. Please think twice about coming here

Best burgers 8n town. However, the prices on the menu (16 bucks) are not what you are being charged (20 bucks). Watch out! Probably not the first time they did that to me, we may need to speak to the city.

Al Carbón! I looooove this place and its vibe. The staff is the best --friendly, helpful, and genuine. I hate places when they're too packed, and this one usually is not. The area outside with some tables is my favorite. For a serious dinner or for tapeo or something more casual. To have a good time

This was the worst hamburger I have ever tasted, in my life, without seasoning, with very poor flavor, the bread was wet and cold, in any fast food restaurant you can eat hamburgers, of better quality and flavor or at least hot. My best advice is don't waste your money on this place.

This is an interesting restaurant. We’ve never had anything but great food there, certainly one of the best Burgers in Miami that’s for sure. Unfortunately there never seems to be anyone even remotely resembling management there so the employees do the best they can. They appear to have little or no training therefore the service is horrible! So you get great food but by the time you’re done eating you’re thoroughly ticked off due to the lousy service? Why would any restaurant owner care about delivering great food but then not care about the service thereby ruining the experience?

I used to love this place, although they usually took very long time to serve the food. But it’s something we already know when coming back again and again. Last time, however, we came with another couple and we realized that they charge 18% for 4+ party service, plus 4% no cash fee!!! Come on!!!! Don’t you think it is to much? I had never seen a restaurant that charges a fee for paying with ccard! As a business owner myself, I know you guys pay a small percentage for every transaction payed with credit card, but it doesn’t mean your costumers have to pay for it, or at least offer them other payment options and advertise it upfront!. I’m not sure I’ll come back again, I’m so disappointed.

Fun fact. Every time the phone rings, it’s money on the other end. You might wanna answer. I tried to give you guys money again tonight and you refused, so I gave it to someone else.
