I got a breakfast burrito and it was pretty dry. I had high hopes and will give them one more shot, but really I was let down during my first ever visit. The store is rough, but I like hole in the wall food joints so I gave it a try. If the food had been good then the rating would have been up there. Crossing my fingers for a second try later.

Great food and the people seem nice but the atmosphere is a low end gas station. The prices are a bit more expensive than is shown on Google but still worth it. Get the burrito. I'll be going back!

Drove 2.5 hours to have authentic cuban food. Advertising said restaurant and inside eating. It was a convenience store with a small deli... didn't try it...

This place used to be a Florida hidden food at a gas station gem. Now it’s sad and run down. Won’t make it in todays normalization of this environment. We the people want clean surroundings when we order our food .

This is take out only, in the back of a Sunoco convenience store ... but, oh so good Mexican food, and great prices ! We call ahead, and it is always ready and well packed to travel, with all the extras including great pepper sauces.

Food is so amazing. It’s definitely a place to go back to. Burritos are huge and taco of carne asada are the best. Everything is made fresh. Restaurant is inside gas station. They should have their own restaurant and they would stay busy.

I’ve been eating here for 7 years now with my Dad since I was 16, Alvarez is a Land O’ Lakes staple! A must try, it’s incredible. Good prices. The food is fresh and made right in front of you. The father, son, and family are amazing and so friendly. The best Authentic Mexican food in the area. They have everything from breakfast sandwiches and huevos rancheros, to gorditas, sopas, tortas, burritos. I grew up eating here since High School. I love you guys 🇲🇽❤️ Buenísimo atención! La comida está bien fresco y y hecho justo en frente de ti. El padre, hijo, y la familia son increíble y amistoso. Lo mejor autentica comida mexicana en el área. Total hidden gem. Even with the recent price increase, the items are good value. $8 for a burrito that's better than Moe's or Chipotle is a no brainer. Fast service.

I saw other reviews so I figured I'd try it. I ordered the Palntanos Rellenos. It was really good. The plantains were cooked perfectly. The flavors were on point and the amount of food for the price is great. If you are afraid of trying it because it is in a gas station, don't be.

I live just a short distance; the food is fresh and delicious. I hear they cater too.
