You will never leave hungry. They start you out with cheese and crackers, next is an amazing relish tray. This is all before your dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. The desserts are to die for!! A favorite among many!!

A TIME CAPSULE. Both the menu and decor take one back to the late 40's / early 50's. Reserve a riverside table and enjoy a serene lunch or dinner.

Food is to expensive, I'm a chef myself and was disappointed in quality of food was not good and whom ever the cook is needs to take some lessons. I heard how it was good but in the end I won't go back.

I really liked this place. It is an older historic restaurant that has a cool old school vibe. It reminds me of the way dining out used to be. They give you plenty of food that is presented well and is very tasty. The waitress was friendly and attentive. There is also a great view of the river right outside of the restaurant. This place is definitely worth the visit.

We went in July. It was our first time. My first reaction (when I saw the menu) was, it was too expensive. Then… our waitress brought out crackers and cheese, then rolls and cute little corn bread loaves, but next we got a huge circle of salads, cottage cheese, chick peas, a corn relish, etc. about 8 different things. My mind was changed at the end of our dinner!! It was all delicious! Highly recommend the Old Mill Restaurant.

10/10 True upstate legend. Classic for decades. Best fine dinning you'll find in the Tri County area. Great view watching the ducks on the river. Just don't fill up on the cheese & crackers, breads & relish trays, save room for desert & Jamaican coffee!

Always great food and service at the Old Mill

Went here with my girlfriend and 2 of her best friends, we had a great time. Food was very good, great atmosphere, and very good service. Not enough dishes listed to check all recommendations.

No TV's, no obvious bar, you're able to have conversation with those at your table without shouting. Old world dining and a wonderful experience. Seven of us were at the table ranging in age from 19 to 78 and we ALL enjoyed our time together.

I have lived in the Binghamton area my entire 58 years. I always heard what a great place it was to eat but never had a chance to eat here. I've traveled that road millions of times and always wanted to stop. Well, what a surprise, a fantastic meal, and the staff was great. I feel bad that it took me so long to visit. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks for such a great meal.

I met the owner of this wonderful restaurant in Heathrow airport today and sampled the experience sadly only virtually !!! Glad to see the food looks as amazing as it sounds. Fantastic to meet you and enjoy your time in Scotland - hope to get to experience the real thing one day :) Tom

Eating out as a pleasure, and an experience. Something special and not just a convenient way to eat without the hassle of preparing dinner. Great to have celebrated my birthday there, wish they were open year round as it would be a nice venue for a Thanksgiving or Christmas celebration.

Everything from the view to service and the food was absolutely outstanding

Came here for our anniversary for the first time. Hadn't heard anything about it, but figured we'd give it a go. The restaurant is nice and very spacious. Had great views of the river. The food was great, and not overly pricey. They had a good selection of items on the menu, and also had cocktails. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and entrees. Then the unexpected happened. They brought a plate of crackers and cheese spread to the table while we waited. What a nice treat. Especially since we also brought our toddler along (which they were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations of a high chair, crayons, kid menu, etc.). Then, after the appetizer they brought out a massive "relish tray". Unbeknownst to us, this is apparently something they do, and that patrons look forward to. This too was a welcome surprise. It had beets, cottage cheese, chickpeas, kidney beans, pickles, coleslaw, jelly, and more. This in and of itself was a meal. Then came our entrees and another surprise dish of green beans. So it seems they essentially give you a dish "on the house" with each course of meal (minus desert). This was all unknown to us since we've never been before. But it sure gave us a wow factor and a great dining experience. My single complaint, which really isn't one, is that I wish they offered the option to take the leftovers of the tray home. We were also the only table there under the age of 55. Ha. Service was also great, and we'll definitely be back!

Old Mill... This one truly puzzles me. There are so many glowing reviews for Old Mill and our experience didn't really match any of that. Don't get me wrong, this was in no way due to the wait staff! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. But pretty much everything else about this experience was par or below. We arrived and entered into what initially looks like a small gift shop. This area is decorated with very out of date decor (and this will continue to be a pattern for the rest of the establishment) and I at first wondered if we were at the right place. We were greeted withing 60 seconds and we waited about 5 minutes to be shown our table, into a big dining room that was also filled with outdated decor, contributing to a very 50's (and not in the charming way) atmosphere. Now, I can get over the decor if the food is good. The menu consists of a bunch of different options ranging from steaks and roast beef, to chicken, a cheeseburger option and seafood, to appetizers of mushroom caps and escargot. For a fine dining establishment, the menu is somewhat all over the place. I ended up ordering the Chicken Old Mill, with the other members of my party ordering the ribeye and the Ratatouille. Now, each of the entrees comes with a soup or salad, rolls, a starch (baked potato this visit), a vegetable (green beans this time), and a "relish tray". The relish tray is honestly enough food for a party of four to have as THE meal. It is wildly unnecessary for that much to be on the tray for any less than 8 people and I can't see it as anything less than a money pit by serving that much to smaller parties. To give credit where it's due, the dinner rolls were very good, having both standard and a light cinnamon roll option in the basket, and the soup of the evening, Lentil, was tasty as well. The entrees, sadly, were underwhelming across the board. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly, but lacked any type of seasoning. The ratatouille was par for the course and the chicken old mill had some flavor, but the presentation and the texture had me feeling like these dishes were reheated and not cooked fresh. The portion size of the chicken was also underwhelming, as I would have much rather had less of the relish tray and more of my main course. Overall, I really would like to hope that our experience with the food wasn't the norm. Old Mill has such high reviews that it seems odd for our experience to have been so different from others. However the one thing that is for sure is that they could really use a remodel. It's a great space and some modernization would really do it well.

Old school cool!!! Excellent resturant, with great atmosphere and views of the river from the dining room. The food is awesome, service even better, wide variety of choices. The dessert list is worth a visit. Make the journey, you'll be glad you did.....

My absolutely favorite restaurant! The service, the food, the surroundings are the greatest. Had my daughter's rehearsal dinner there in August, there were 20 of us, the staff was the best and so kind, and patient with us. Going again today for my birthday. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Came for lunch after church on a Sunday. The wait staff was very nice, the appetizers were great, and the view of the river out the large windows was great for the kids. The food was pretty generic but inoffensive and the dining area could really using some modernizing. All in all it was a good eating experience.

I know things have changed some since the whole pandemic ordeal... but I had really talked this place up to some friends who we took there for their first time. Dont get me wrong food was excellent but we were a little disappointed with the relish tray it was definitely lacking... when the 2 of us had last gone it was more than enough for 2... unfortunately there was 4 of us and this time it was sadly underwhelming... cheese and cracker tray was also lacking... and where was the awesome jam for the biscuits? We had also made reservations and had requested a window seat which we didn't end up getting....

Once again I had another fabulous dinner. Prime Rib. I truly enjoy this dinning experience.

If you enjoy delicious home cooked meals and impeccable attention from the waitstaff then I highly recommend this restaurant. Not only is the view of the river 👍🏻 But the atmosphere harkens to a big age to the past. If you enjoy historic buildings then this place is also for you! The portions are huge! There is also a kids menu for the little humans to enjoy with some of the BEST chicken fingers I have ever had.

My husband and I come to the area once a year to put flowers on his parents and grandparents grave and for the past 2 years we have stopped here after to have dinner. The food is excellent! I love the shrimp!

My parents celebrated a milestone anniversary here, and the owner and waitstaff made it very special. They showered them with congratulations and even gave the ladies flowers! The riverside location is beautiful and the food is excellent: French onion soup, filet mignon, homemade desserts, as well as simpler fare if you prefer. Well worth the scenic drive to this lovely restaurant.

Classic place! Seasonally open, but they have a great menu and interesting history. They serve a 5 course meal, and the food is fantastic, from the varied relish tray to the decadent desserts.

First time we visited but we'll be back. Wonderful atmosphere, pleasant and attentive service and plenty of great food. Cheese & cracker and relish trays were especially nice surprises. Wife and I also has two delicious chicken entrees. And with all that, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Worth the occasional drive from Endicott.

Pleasently surprised with pricing, and meal was far better than expected. Very much enjoyed and will return! And for what it is worth, I never intended to use Google Assistant to make reservations, that was accidental... But they were polite about it and I got to be the first to do it!

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time and we absolutely loved it! We are a younger 27 year old couple and were looking for a good place to celebrate our Anniversary and the Old Mill was perfect for that. Great food and great atmosphere!

Food was well prepared, haddock was cooked perfectly, lightly crusted but moist. Beautiful view of the river. Definitely is worth stopping for dinner. Very courteous and good service.

Everything I've had here is good. It may seem a little expensive for the area but you get a large meal and each entree comes with a cheese spread and crackers and a relish tray. Nice views overlooking the Unadilla River and the restaurant is historic since it was once an old mill.

The staff there is great especially Patty.... our meal was wonderful as always. My husband and I go here all the time... we never walk away disappointed....

Love coming to this charming restaurant. I've been with family, as a couple, and just by myself and the service has been excellent every time. Love the chicken Old Mill! They are very accommodating to my grandparents who are both in wheelchairs. Guaranteed you won't leave hungry.

The dinner this noon was delicious and more than I could eat so have lunch for tomorrow. I had Chicken Old Mill with a baked potato and bacon soup. Desserts were only $.25 - $.35 prices from 1946 when they first opened. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The artichoke hearts with Hollandaise, beer battered shrimp and prime rib were all excellent. Perfectly prepared and seasoned. The setting is charming and cozy, with a great old school vibe. Highly recommended.
