Best Gyros in town...I've eaten Gyros at some of the best restaurants all over the world...Athens, London, Amsterdam, New York, and Chicago. These are well in the ballpark...the very best in size, taste, and ingredients...well done! Service and other menu items all good. Highly recommended !!!

Best Gyro’s in Missoula, hands down!

First time here. Tried the original gyro. It was pretty good. It could have used more meat, but had plenty of tzatziki sauce, which I like, although the sauce was a bit too runny. The place does not look very inviting for dining in. It’s a bit run down. I’d recommend take out.

I went in today to grab a Greek salad, both workers were very friendly. This is the best Greek salad I’ve had in a long time. Large portion of fresh and crispy lettuce with yummy big cucumbers, tomatoes, the right amount of feta, onions and olives- the dressing is also fabulous. So good.

Love going to Ambrosia! Brought my wife for lunch today and she couldn’t stop raving about how great it was. Whenever I have guests from out of town, this is a must stop for them too.

This review is for all the people complaining that the Gyro Meat is not all Lamb. There is no such thing as an all Lamb Gyro meat log made in the USA (in Greece they use pork). At best they are 18% Lamb and 82% Beef. Imagine the price if they were all lamb. What did you pay for lamb chops the last time you had them?

The men I always deal with are the main reasons I continuously return. Of course the food is quite tasty but these guys make my day, every time!!

Food was very good and flavorful, however did find a few things we didn't care for. -Prices are a tad on the spendy side for gyro meat that's cut with beef. -Should be between 10-15% cheaper $$ across the whole menu or bigger portions. - naan bread ordered was very stiff like it was sitting out for a while, very stiff/tough. -salad was not fresh, is overdressed and under-olived.

Good gyro, a bit unexpected to have only beef option, no lamb. Rapid service. All the chairs were up on most tables 3 hours prior to closing, which made dine in option feel like something the folks there didn't encourage, but if you're looking for take away, try this place.

I almost never eat a gyro because I am invariably disappointed, even at the very highly rated places. But, I was in town for one night, this was the highest rated restaurant near me, so decided to try it. Wow, this is a truly delicious gyro!! It's all good but the standout is the meat seasoning. Really delicious and flavorful. I saw the seasoning in little containers for sale at the counter...now I know why. The guy serving me was great too. Highly recommend!!

First time trying Ambrosia. Went on lunch break with a craving for a gyro. Service is great. It's a small place and wasn't busy when we stopped in. Food came out at a proper pace. Ordered gyro extra meat (9.00) with side of fries (3.50) Portion was great for the price. The burger chains in town think they can charge as much for half the food and less than half the quality. Would recommend. Only note of critique is that the fries weren't my favorite kind but that's not their fault. They were cooked right and hot when brought out! Definitely will be stopping by again

This place is great. The guys are friendly and the food is delicious. Big portions and I have to be rolled out each time I visit. The atmosphere is ok but the space is small so they have to store boxes and such where they can fit it. Tables and food area are always clean.

One of the best Gyro shops in Missoula by far! The pita is toasted just to perfection, the meat is super moist, savory, and tender. Oh, and the sauce they put on them is mouth watering 😋! I recommend getting it loaded with all the veggies; makes it even better! You won't be disappointed 😌!!! The guys at the shop are really friendly and will make sure you leave full and happy.

We have had Gyros all over the Country and even in Greece. Ambrosia has the best Gyro ever! Clean and friendly restaurant. Homemade and handmade tzatsiki sauce; they marinate their own meat. Homemade Greek pastries! Fresh salad. Sensational!

Ridiculously good gyro!!! Staff is very friendly and nice. Place is dated but it's clean! Took baklava to go and it is the best I've had anywhere not just Montana. If you're on this end of town and wanting something fairly quick, fresh and delicious, it's the place to go.

Fabulous gyros: meat wasn’t the regularly thin sliced … thick flavorful slices. I am all about the tatziki sauce…yummy!! Very friendly staff.

I used to be a Greek Gyro & Pastry on 5th St loyalist. But Ambrosia has them beat these days and it's not even close anymore. Gyros are Bigger and are just as good if not better. Establishment is way roomier and the Staff is Awesome!

Unassuming exterior, friendly staff, good food! I ordered up a Greek salad with gyro meat ($9.75) and had a glass of water. My salad was overflowing the bowl, and hit the spot. The staff greets everyone coming in and leaving, knowing many. It was fun to enjoy my meal and watch people bring their friends in an introduce them to the staff and food.

The Greek salad was a little lacking, but the gyro was one of the best I've had. Wonderful staff, but no ambiance. But as a take-out it can't be beat!

First time at Ambrosia. I have only had Greek food a few times in my life so I can't compare well, but the food was very good. Portions were huge and the prices were very good. I had the normal Gyro with Greek fries. I would highly recommend both.

Ive given this place many chances over the years to fix their mistakes. Which they havent. The fries and meat are too salty, the sauce is too runny and given in too great of a portion. The consistency of everything else is a joke, i can tell they are doing the bare minimum because they dont really give a **** and their attitude always reflects that. Im sick of this place after today and never going back. Everything about this place is sub-par compared to the other gyro shops in town. Dont waste your time and ruin a potentially awesome food experience with these guys TRUST ME. The people who give them good reviews dont know what they are talking about. Spend the extra 5-10 minutes and go somewhere that is worth it.
