I liked this place I took one star off because I ordered a drink and came with to much ice apart from that it was good and it was crispy and juicy

First visit here for me! Took carryout of their meat pizza. Employees friendly, place was clean. Someone who I assume was the owner or manager by their actions inside had parked sideways in the handicap spot out front, but that has nothing to do with the food so it is what it is, just thought it was worth mentioning. (Don't take offense if this was you, just do better) Pizza was greasy, which I expected if the meats were any good. Flavor was fantastic! Crust was extremely chewy and I kinda had to gnaw at it. Would order from here again if I was guaranteed to get better crust.

The first experience was pretty good. I would have rated it a 4. But my second and LAST visit was absolutely terrible. I ordered a veggie pizza to go and when I got home literally 5 minutes later, I found that the crust was beyond soft. It was SOGGY. I was so disappointed that I called the restaurant just minutes before they were closing. The person who answered the phone, all the guy that served me at the counter, said “okay, so what do you want me to do” in response to my complaint. He then informed that the veggie toppings cause the dough to be soft and “thats just what happens with veggie pizzas” He added that there’s nothing he can do about it. I suggest eating your pizza immediately as the pizza went soft with the first experience (but not so bad as to write a long review as this one and certainly not so bad that I wouldn’t return) and as far as the veggie, please save yourself the disappointment and waste of money; don’t order it

Excellent New York style pizza in a comfortable fast food restaurant type setting. Some of the best N.Y. pizza we've had anywhere in Tampa.Excellent service as well.

Tiny salads filled with iceberg lettuce and pizza had a very sweet sauce which ruined it for me.

Food definitely has an authentic Italian flavor and style. We will definitely be back. The server was great, very caring and attentive. We spend extra time there with family very comfortably. We tried Chicken Parmesan, Stromboli and Ravioli. Garlic knots are good. Calamari are great.

Gotta say, great spot for local eats, reasonable prices, good service, quick and hot food, lots of good options without being overwhelming. Staff seems friendly and even seems to have some locals come by the bar as a watering hole.. Will have to come back and try the menu/drinks more. Close enough to the Krates, The Premium Outlets and the Groves if you'd like to check out more things.

A little known gem in Wesley Chapel...

I’ve been going to Amici since their old location, in 2004. Had moved down from North Jersey and struggled finding a new favorite pizzeria.. once I had amici I knew it’d be my favorite pizzeria in Fl for years to come. Almost 21 years later and have yet to find another favorite. Amicis is home base, the standard. From the father to the sons, they pride their selves consistently thin, light and airy, crispy pies but the star of the show is the sauce. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Awful chicken parmigiana sub. Overstuffed with cheese to mask the taste of how old the chicken tasted

We ordered a delicious 1/2 cheese pizza 1/2 chicken and they helped make sure the pizza was safe for our food allergies. Glad to finally find a great Italian place! Coming from Massachusetts it's been hard to find a local Italian restaurant.

One of the only pizzerias in this area that sell calamari, linguini with clam sauce and include a fresh piece of bread with your dinner!! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly! One of the BEST pizzerias in this area!

Excellent first impression.. amazing sauce reminds me of NY.. only had one slice of pizza that was thin crust good mixture between cheese and sauce.. few suggestions use rigatoni instead of ziti, it holds the sauce better, also offer linguine instead of spaghetti.. overall 9/10, will be back

Came here with my three kids after a long day at Busch gardens. They were super fast to seat us and so friendly to the kids bringing out their spaghetti first! My experience was Incredible, amazing food and excellent service. They have really good and seemingly authentic tiramisu!!! I’m super impressed with the quality of their food and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Loved the atmosphere and the wings looked delicious can’t wait to try those next time!! Mozzarella sticks 10/10!

Lived 50 years in NYC, Amici pizza & food is equal to what we had in NYC

I’m astonished! I’m deeply saddened that I’ve lived in Wesley Chapel for almost 6 years and I’ve never had the pleasure of eating here until now. One word: PHENOMENAL. I do not say that lightly. Garlic bread was AMAZING! Marinara was also delicious. Grilled chicken on our pasta dish was seared perfectly. Pizza was wonderful, the crust, the fresh toppings, and the sauce were chefs kiss. Holding the pizza was easy and produced no excess oils, literally perfect. All of the portions were hearty. For Friday night they were catering to a steady flow of patrons. Watching the pizza dough being stretched in the back was also a treat. Thank you Sarah for taking care of us! We will ABSOLUTELY be back. Update: leftovers were just as good if not better than yesterday. I know I’ll be back before the end of next week🤣

We came in for lunch, seven of us and there was a table available to seat all seven of us. The service at first was a little slow, but once she started serving us she did a great job. Actually came back several times to check on us.The pizza, subs, cheese sticks were really good. The prices were very fair. The atmosphere was very nice, you could hear each other. I would recommend this restaurant. A very nice experience.

We ordered to go and loved the pizza . The fresh sauce that came with the garlic knots was delicious. I also loved that they have pieces of fresh tomatoes below the cheese . We will definitely be back when we visit . The cashier was also really nice and friendly. It was a great experience overall.

Great food... I've never tried muscles before and I did here I was very shocked at how good they were very tender!

Tried Amici-Pizza for dinner and overall, it was pretty good. I would change their Tomato Salad and make it Mozzarella Caperses instead made with fresh mozzarella cheese and balsamic glaze. The provolone cheese was not the best and the tomatoes were cut into chunks. My wife had their tossed salad, and it was so-so. Meatballs were very good, but they could cut back on the sauce! While good, it was too much unless you had some bread to dip in it! Had their 14" med. pizza with half pepperoni and all double cheese. It was very good; crust was not burnt but crisp as it should be. We don't eat pizza very often; about once a month or so, but we will go again. On a side note! Our waitress was very nice and proficient, but she walked by a couple of napkins on the floor not five feet from our table. We were there for about an hour, and we waited to see if she would pick up the trash. They were plain to see! Overall, the place was clean!

Pizza was excellent, a little light on cheese but the sauce was amazing. Overall one of the most delicious pizzas I've had in a long time.

Amici Pizza never disappoints. The service, the pizza, salads and garlic knots are always spot on. The coldest beer in town. The service always great. When we’re in the mood for good, I mean great pizza this is our go to.

the dishwasher did not wash the plates well enough the plate was dirty as well as the fork will never eat here again!

No complaints here! Started with the knots and wings, then a ceasar salad and greek salad, and finished with a cauliflower crust margarita pizza and a white pizza- all super delicious! Service was awesome and friendly. Highly recommend!

I had two slices, topping were good. The crust was hard, since it was double cooked I guess.

After recently moving from NJ I knew it would a struggle to find good NY/NJ style pizza in this area. I did discover Santoro's in downtown Tampa which is great, but that is far. After reading the reviews about Amici it seemed like it might be the best shot for good pizza. I am thankful to say it is excellent and truly reminds me of back home. The slice is thin and crisp, the sauce is a little sweeter than I am used to, but still tastes good and it could use a tad more cheese. Otherwise, it is a perfect slice and I most certainly will be back.

Northern Italian versus Southern Italian. Deep dish versus thin crust. You get my drift. Fab One and I were on the going-home side of a wonderful Sunday drive. We started thinking about dinner. Go home and cook, OR??? That's the moment us Foodies love. Finding an excuse to getting online and doing some visual food sampling. Digitally, we travel into Mexico, the Mediterranean, Italy and more. We ultimately set our baggage at the door of one place we desire to explore further. To step through the door is to begin a journey of tempting tastes. We hope... That's when we settled on Amici. The reviews were good. They painted a virtual picture of what we were looking for. WE were in the mood for Italian food. I must admit we've driven Highway 54, or Wesley Chapel Blvd as it's called, for many years. And I can never remember having noticed Amici. Maybe I spotted the building, but it never registered there's a potential Italian hideaway hidden there. No matter. As soon as we walked in, we were happily greeted by several of the crew. Taking a seat, Nick came over and introduced himself. Nick is a really likeable young man. His manner exudes kindness and caring. He started his employ at Amici's doing the dishes. A hard, hot job. But he's in the right place now, making customers feel welcome and giving them a great reason to return. I wish him well in his endeavors. We already knew we wanted to get a pizza, so our menu moments were brief. We ordered The Works Pizza - Large 16 inch. A side salad filled the void in our tummies and the void in time until Nick placed OUR pizza on the bent-wire pizza platform. The first food impression was solidly excellent. Fab One and I both leaned in, and over that pie. Don't you love leaning in like that? Breathing in, to catch the bubbling aromas rising up in those little plumes of steam? This pizza was an Italian Masterpiece. LOTS of ingredients covering the crusty acreage. My favorite was the mushrooms. They were not overcooked shriveled up and burnt fungi. They were still moist, succulent and packed with taste. WE were absolutely raving about this flat food phenomenon! We raved to Nick. And to the couple next to us. And we asked Nick to send word back to the kitchen as well. Kudos! A thoroughly enjoyable meal, with superb service. AND, on the way home, seeing that little brown pizza box on the backseat brought happy thoughts to mind. LEFTOVERS! We all know leftover pizza is KING! Tell them Beth and John suggested this place.

Still looking for that awesome local pizza place, this is the best I've found so far. Food is good, service is prompt and nice, clean, comfortable atmosphere. Gotta try it.

Needed to get two dinners for a church family of two where the wife just had surgery and can’t cook just yet. This was perfect as I know to always count on the food to be at its best and served very hot right from the oven. Of course the family loved our choice!

Came in and ordered a cheese pie to stay and 2 pasta dishes to take home (chicken Alfredo and chicken Marsala) the 3 stars is for the pie, their pizza is good. I definitely recommend you visos if your in the mood for pizza. The pasta dishes (I hate to say) we’re horrible, absolutely no flavor AT ALL!!!! I’ve never had anything worse! Took it home and my son said the same. Absolutely no flavor in both dishes. Again, pizza was great, service was great, just do not recommend the pasta dishes, they were a total waste of money, they both went to the trash. Unfortunately.

My said she was longing for a good pizza. I was at Costco so I said Amici’s we were right there. She is lover of Sicilian style so we ordered a pepperoni and mushrooms. You know when you wait for a Sicilian it’s going be fresh. The Sicilian was light not oily and cooked to perfection. Only ate half the pie took the order half home. Best dam pie I’ve had since NY. The owner is from Brooklyn so you know the pie is going to be traditional. We’re from Yonkers NY. See soon!

Decided to try this place with our family. We ordered pizza, baked ziti, eggplant parm, meatball sandwich and limoncello cake for dessert. The food was delicious and, best of all, the place was clean. We’ll be back.

I came by a month of so for lunch. It was a very good experience and on a Friday we need a local place w friends over from outta town. So we ordered 2 cheese pizza, two main dishes the Greek salad and of course the zeppelins dessert. My friend said I have to try the dessert bc we didn’t get it for lunch. They said 30 minutes for pick up … when I walked in I was welcomed by the staff and were extremely friendly. The food was ready and the order was correct. Amici is a great place to eat in or carry out!!

Born and raised in NYC and this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Good amount of cheese, not too oily, great undercarriage with a good crisp to it. It's not floppy and it's light but not too light and also great tasting tangy sauce.

Solid NY Style pizza. Not greasy and there is an excellent crisp to the crust as well. Garlic knots are a must! Great service and food ready in a timely manner. This was our 2nd time ordering take out from here and a 3rd is not too far behind.

The last time I was at Amici’s was when they were in their previous location. I had been a couple of times and it was always good! We tried it again tonight! Their garlic bread was amazing! Once we got our meals, that wasn’t the case. I ordered the carbonara. The menu says bacon, peas, ham, and eggs. When I got the dish, there was nothing creamy about it. It looked like it had curdled milk or feta cheese. It was loaded with green olives. I know some recipes call for olives, but that’s all you could taste. There were no peas like the menu said. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. I really wanted to like it but there was no effort put into the sauce. The sauce was only tomatoes! No other flavoring. It tasted as though a can of tomato sauce was poured into a pot and served. The dish comes with 2 meatballs. I could not finish the meatball. Our whole family tried it and we could not believe how unpleasant the taste was. Regardless, the portions of both pasta dishes was definitely hearty! They are not skimpy on how much food you get! My son got the Philly cheese steak and like with the other dishes, there was no effort put into putting food out with flavor. Or food that tastes good. The hostess was lovely and friendly! Our server was not pleasant. They didn’t smile 1 time. They would only answer in 1 word answers and just came across as though they don’t enjoy a customer service job. The place is really nice! One of the nicer pizza places I’ve been to! It still looks new and everything looked clean. I hope the owners/managers sit and try the food to see if there are any changes they can make to improve what they have!

I've been coming to Amici's since they opened approximately 16 years ago they make the best pizza and they make pizza just like they do in Brooklyn and if anybody knows anything but the best pizza in the world is in Brooklyn. With saying that I just have to let you know they make the best pizza in the state of Florida. And I was there best customer when I lived in Brooklyn. Simply the best pizza if you want to eat really good pizza from New York Brooklyn this is where you need to go

Best pizza in Tampa Bay area. Real clean, great quality food made fresh. Family Friendly place they have a wide variety of Italian food I have tried almost everything and can't choose a favorite dish since everything taste amazing.

Their Chicken Marsala is magnificent

Veal Parmasian and spagetti. While decently prepared, the veal was like rubber. Have had little tough over years, but never this bad. Worse yet, the Chef gave no credence to my integrity. No consideration on bill. Poor. Something was not right: veal patty instead of cutlet? Whatever. Lost respect for this restaurant. This dish should not have been put on menu! GPIII

Best Cauliflower Crust pizza I've ever had! But very pricey. Two small pizzas and a salad were $50!

Server was great. Appeared new, but very attentive. We dined in and the wait was over 45 minutes for a large Pizza. The dough was very undercooked, and a few of us had stomach aches later at night. We've eaten here before and food was fine. They had plenty of staff, just unprepared or unexperienced in the kitchen.

This is an amazing family run restaurant! We have been going there for over 8 years now!

The service was great. I was shocked that I got charged $2.25 for green peppers, $2.25 for onion, and $2.35 for mushrooms. There was barely any vegetable in my calzone. At Publix, I can get 1 onion, 1 green pepper and some mushrooms for half the price of what I was charged and the calzone would have been full of vegetables. The other downside is the calzone barely had fresh Mozzarella cheese.

Pizza and calzones are very good! It is thin but airy crust. Meat pizza is the best I have tried. They put a good share of meat toppings on. Cold subs are average, I’m not a big fan of the sub rolls. Service is very nice too- Very energetic and courteous!

Over priced food that seems as though the person who threw the menu and recipes together tried hard and failed hard. The batter for fried items is tasteless. The calamari is priced 7.00 over the portion size and is disgusting. Tasted like it was from a gas station. There was nothing good about the pizza, even leftover it made me cry. Hungry howies is a better bet for your family dinner. Save yourself the let down. Only thing that made this better was the staff, great people. Very kind and understanding, but I feel bad they serve and represent such nasty food.

Updated post back to five stars from three. Haven’t had a problem in one year. Believe it was just 1 or 2 cooks who weren’t cut out for a he fast-paced environment. Best pizza in Wesley Chapel!!!
