Beautiful atmosphere but food is pretty mediocre

Everything was fantastic! 8 of us met there for my birthday, the atmosphere, service and food were all fantastic! Definitely going back!

Had a great dinner with friends here. The food was unbelievable-highly recommend artichoke blossoms, cacio pepe, pappardelle capri, halibut piccata, shrimp risotto. Server was very nice, attentive. Ambiance is a bit dated - could use a modern refresh. Lots of vents in the ceiling and breeze was noticeable at our table so we moved. One star gone because they wanted to charge a split plate fee for two people sharing a nice entree after ordering multiple rounds of food per person, spending a lot of wine and drinks, etc. Shame on a restaurant that wants to be categorized as really fine dining for doing this. You would not see that at other fine dining establishments.

Every single person we interacted with from Michee, Nick, and food runners gave 5 star service. Michee was an AMAZING server and the food was superb. So worth the money and would definitely recommend

My last visit was at Angelina's happy hour. The orders were filled by Sam, a professional bartender, and completed perfectly, one of Bonitas finest. Since I lived in the area for over 23 years, Angelinas is supurb with all the above qualities. I could guarantee it.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with these fine folks. It was an amazing experience from the time we arrived to the time we left. In all my years I had never been to a restaurant with such a wide variety of wines. I was given an encyclopedia to choose from. The food was great we had the risotto and wagyu fillet. The service was great, they made our anniversary an unforgettable one. We will make this restaurant a must stop whenever we visit again. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t regret it.

Came to Angelina's while vacationing in Florida and had a wonderful experience all the way around. It is very clear that the management of this organization is top notch. Everything was clean and organized, the food was prompt and tasted amazing, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I also thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality and overall experience. To top it off, I wasn't even out the door yet and the valet worker was actually running across the parking lot to bring our vehicles around. The staff really exceeded all expectations we had and delivered a 10/10 experience.

Angelina's has a well deserved 5 star rating. Love of my life and I Holly Nicole Seeliger came here often. It became our spot. The service is on point, the atmosphere is Romantic, private, comfortable and inviting. The chef prepares dishes that are nuanced, complex yet very well balanced. (Coming from someone who has experienced my fair share of 5 star destinations many of which fall short, but not Angelina's) Angelina's is truly a five star experience. **Note: many of the dishes are available as gluten free upon request (Yes my opinion is based upon my experience but what else do we actually have? I have experienced 5 star locations and i do tend to understand where they fall short. )

Disappointing Experience at Angelina's Ristorante While Angelina's Ristorante boasts a beautiful ambiance and excellent food, my recent experience fell short of expectations. The service, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. Overly Attentive Wait Staff: Our waiter visited the table frequently, which felt intrusive at times. While attentiveness is appreciated, the constant interruptions made it difficult to converse with my date and decipher the menu. Confusing Menu: The menu itself presented a challenge. Listed by Italian names with minimal descriptions, it offered little guidance for those unfamiliar with the dishes. The waiter provided no assistance in deciphering the menu, making the selection process feel rushed and perplexing. Disengaged Service: The wait staff seemed preoccupied with their own matters. Instead of offering guidance or "discovery questions" to help navigate the menu, they remained aloof, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Witnessing them congregate and discuss work struggles further detracted from the dining experience. High Prices, Uneven Value: The combination of overly formal atmosphere, inattentive service, and expensive drinks (though the wine selection was commendable) made justifying the high prices difficult. Saving Grace: The Food: Thankfully, the food itself proved to be delicious. All three dishes we ordered were excellent, despite the initial confusion surrounding their descriptions. Overall: While the food was undoubtedly good, the service and ambiance fell short. A more user-friendly menu and a less intrusive wait staff could significantly improve the overall dining experience.

Ordered the snapper encased in salt and it was mush. I would have returned but was a guest and felt constrained from doing so. I'm convince the fish was held over for more than a day.

Angelina’s is our favorite restaurant. We have been going there for 15 years. We have never had a bad meal. On Friday May 4th we went with two other couples, one couple had never been there before. Food was amazing, as usual. But our waiter was the worst we have ever had at any restaurant. He got our drinks wrong and forgot one drink. Then gave this incredibly long speech about the restaurant and the food. It was to the point we had to tell him to stop talking. He kept taking away our plates and silverware before we were done eating. He got confused on the dinner orders and had to keep checking with the chef with our choices. He needs to go work somewhere else. We sat in the first room on the right near the ladies room. We had 6pm reservations.

Our party Of 4 Started our evening in the bar for cocktails and appetizers and then moved into the dining room for a delicious meal-Food and service were excellent-Madison took great care of us! I love that they have half portions of pasta as it allowed me to Order a half order of orecchiette with shrimp And also the eggplant rollatini-my husband had the pork shank ossobuco (pictured)- finished with the delicious fried dough for dessert A++ 🤌🏻

It's been 6 years since I have been to Angelina's. Most restaurants stay the same or decline. Angelina's has only improved. Great service and great food. I also value how owners care for their staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating. You can't go wrong on any menu items.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Every time I come to the Ft.Myers/Naples/Bonita Springs area I always have dinner at Angelina’s! From the moment I pull up, the experience is top notch, starting with the valet guy who opens my door and never stops running from the moment he parks my car to the moment he brings it back at the end of the night. Most impressive is that he remembers my name without me having to tell him. Next, as I enter the restaurant, I am greeted by a friendly, smiling hostess and then immediately see the 3 story wine tower and hear the piano playing in the bar area. The atmosphere is beautiful…dark, quiet and romantic…perfect for any type of gathering! The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable! I have never felt rushed and my servers have always been amazing. This time my server was Nicole….she was friendly, polite and professional. She truly took care of my every need! I can’t say enough about this place…definitely two thumbs up!!

Took my Wife out to Angelina's last night for her Birthday Dinner. The experience was outstanding, more like a 10 than a 5. Angelina's is located right on RT 41 in Bonita Springs, just north of Old 41. The Restaurant is very beautiful inside with an incredible 30' Tower Wine Room right as you enter the various Dining Areas. Angelina's actually has 7 different dining areas, one which is their Bar Lounge, which features two bars, one which is built around a piano. The Lounge also has several high top tables. We were seated in the Fountain Room, located just left of the Lounge Room, which allowed us to listen to the piano player, which begins at 6:30 PM. Beautiful room with a view of their outside water fountain. Our Server last night was Giselle, and she was outstanding. Giselle began by asking us if it was our first time there and then gave us a little history of Angelina's. Giselle was very attentative all night and made our evening very enjoyable. In fact, all the Wait Staff were extremely friendly and professional. It seemed like they had many Wait Staff, and they were all dressed very professionally and everyone had a very nice brass name tag on. When I needed to use the Men's Room, I asked one of the Wait Staff at the Check in Desk where it was and the person didn't just point and say over there, but he actually walked me right to the room, which was located behind the Wine Tower. After Dinner when we were having another drink, the General Manager, James Williams came over to check on our experience and I mentioned that person who walked me to the Men's Room, and he said that was the protocol at Angelina's to provide outstanding service to their Guests. For Dinner, we both started with an appetizer, my Wife had the Eggplant Rollatina and I had the Fried Calamari with Snapper. Best Calamari I have ever had and my Wife loved the Eggplant. For our Main Course, my Wife had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and I had the 16 oz. Pork Osso Buco. Giselle had recommended the Braised Pork after I had asked her about that entree or the Veal Marsala. Giselle said the braised Pork is cooked slowly for about 6 hours and the meat falls right off the bone. She was right and you didn't even need a knife to cut up the meat, you could do it with your fork. We both loved our meals and truly feel like we have discovered our "New Favorite Restaurant" in Southwest Florida. We have been looking for a High-end Restaurant down here where we could go to for special occasions or when we had friends or family visiting. We loved it so much that we made new reservations for my upcoming Birthday in a couple of weeks. We asked Giselle if we could get a table in the Tower Room where they have several private booths, and she took care of getting that taken care of for us. Again just outstanding service. When I made the Reservations they asked if it was for a special occasion, and I said it was for my Wife's Birthday. They provided us with a complementary dessert of their Signature Zeppoli, fried dough with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce. Absolutely to "die for", and again, just a nice touch for how they do things at Angelina's. The final bill was very reasonable for having a couple of cocktails and appetizers, main course and dessert, which came to around $167.00, which included the tip. Even on the way out to the car, where they offer Free Valet Service, the Valet Attendant even remembered my name, and that was my first visit there, pretty impressive from start to finish. Bottom line is you are going to be very impressed with all the aspects and services that Angelina's provides and I highly recommend visiting there at your earliest convenience!!!

The best restaurants in all Florida, I have my wedding in one of their private rooms and everything from the food to the service was perfect. The food was incredible. It's the perfect place for every occasion.

My first time here after hearing tons of mixed reviews. I never pulled the trigger because I just did not like what was on their menu. For such a large, beautiful restaurant, I would expect a bigger selection. But doesn't matter, it's what has given them a great reputation. It wasn't my choice, it was my dad's, for my mother's birthday. If he let my mom pick, we'd be eating a chic FIL a. But they are closed on Sundays, so Angelina's it is. We started out with a meat and cheese board. Which was very big. Prosciutto, salami, mortadella, all types of cheeses and olives. Fried zucchini, meatballs. Outstanding. My dad and wife went with the Veal medallions. I had some, not bad. I had the Veal milanesa. Covered in arugula and balsamic. I guess it was ok. Nothing stood out. One thing I noticed, tons of Veal dishes. Only 1 chicken dish. Not one dish had mozzarella cheese. Zero. Like the usual Italian dishes, not on the menu. I had to ask my father if it was an Italian restaurant. I mean to each their own. One thing I will say, the wine selection is the best I've EVER seen. The hostess, Katarina, is lovely. Very attentive and knowledgeable. One of the most beautiful restaurants in SW Florida.

My first time at Angelina’s was Thanksgiving 2023. Since then, I have made myself a frequent patron. Aside from the fantastic food and the incredible service, it’s nice to be in a spot where it’s alright to dress up and look your best, instead of seeing T-shirts, jeans, and flip flops everywhere. My only regret is that it took me so long to try Angelina’s. Do yourself a favor and utilize their valet service too. Give yourself the full experience from start to finish. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely THE BEST Italian restaurant I've ever been to in all my years of life. Me, my mom and two sisters went here for dinner in October and I've been thinking of this meal ever since. I remember getting the butternut squash ravioli and the meatballs but every dish we ordered was seriously SO GOOD! I also was recommended an excellent wine to go with the desserts and I don't even like wine that much. Service was amazing as well though I don't remember our servers name. 15/10!

Just finished bday dinner for Mom with 7 people at over $400! 3 of the 7 meals were “chefs special, with truffles” and all 3 were terrible. Pasta was a gluey lump, no flavor at all; and very expensive! 3 of the 5 pre-dinner cocktails were awful! This is the second, expensive meal here that was terrible! They have a new chef and it shows. We will NOT be going back, ever! Way too much money for the meal we had, bday dinner was totally ruined!

Would love to have said we had a great time. However, we had reservation for 8:15 and somehow waited until 8:35 before we left, meanwhile, they say 2 parties before us. One said their reservation was 8:30. Completely unacceptable.

Talk about an excellent date night. The sommelier was wonderful in helping us select which one to pair best with the Osso Buco and black grouper entrées. The service was five star. Furthermore, how can you not be amazed by a three story wine cellar?!

Wow, this place was fantastic! We sat at the live piano bar and there was a lot of energy but not overly loud. Food was awesome and the decor was beautiful.

We were invited by our neighbor to have dinner with him as a going away gift. Frank has been to your place numerous times and had very good things to say. This is in response to your reply because he complained about being asked to leave as there was a 7:30 reservation waiting for the table. We were seated in the bar area at a high top at 5:PM. Frank and his companion were already there and they had drinks. We ordered two glasses of wine and proceeded to order two apps, which were very disappointing. We then ordered four entrees. We ate and had a few more drinks and when finished we ordered one dessert. Frank paid the bill and as soon as it was picked up we were asked by two different employees to leave because they had someone waiting for the table. In your response you said the bill was paid at 730 and at 8:15 we (the guests) left. This is a total fabrication and lies because I have a gas receipt for 7:20 and I was home by 7:30. Frank and his companion did not linger because they walked out behind us. I don’t know what you were told but this was the time frame. I previously owned two restaurants totally more than 15 years and would never tolerate this kind of behavior. This is just to set the record straight. Frank was very upset with your response after spending over $400.00 dollars on overpriced food.You told him not to come back because he wrote you. I got news for you I would never come back and will tell everyone that I can reach about your unacceptable response.

A perfect place to celebrate an anniversary! They make you feel special the moment you walk in. When we were seated, the hostess gave us an anniversary card - nice surprise. The wine list is huge and the wine tower is unique. The dinner was absolutely delicious - especially the Butternut Squash Ravioli's, black grouper and the veal marsala. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. For dessert they gave us a plate of their special Zeppoli's with chocolate and berry sauce. The tiramisu was also tasty. We tried the Niagara Ice Wine which is pricey but worth it! Please note, we learned if you want to order the Sea Salt Baked Snapper for 2, you need to tell them when you make your reservation. This is a high end restaurant ideal for celebrating special events!!!

Hands down the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. But with that, it’s still on par with the best food I’ve had there, which really says a lot for me. Service is always impeccable, and the food is always held to a high standard. I’m not a butternut squash kind of person, but I always make an exception for the ravioli here, it is out of this world good. There’s a lot of pricey restaurants around, but not a lot that live up to their price tags. Angelina’s is one of those places. Easy 5 stars for me!

We have been looking forward to Angelina’s ever since we moved to the area almost two years ago. Several times we made reservations, and for one reason or another had to cancel. Friends, colleagues and acquaintances have highly recommended Angelina’s as the go to Italian spot in town. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and seated in a lovely room, with a decor reminiscent of Tuscany. The waitress Michee was excellent and really sold us on the dishes we selected. The appetizers recommended were very tasty and just the right portions. My wife and I ordered the veal Marsala (mine as on the menu) and my wife’s specially prepared with sauce on the side. When the main dishes arrived, my wife immediately noticed that the veal tasted off. We called Michee over and after a brief Q & A, she removed her dish and replaced my wife’s meal with the grouper, same order selected by our daughter who was visiting us from LA. As our dinner continued I realized that my veal dish wasn’t much better, yet I pushed through (though didn’t finish). And in the end neither of us were happy with the main courses. Hoping to top it off with an dessert of Zeppole, while plentiful, even those we’re disappointing. We are from New York originally and are accustomed to outstanding food and service and all the ambiance that comes with a great restaurant. Perhaps this was an off night for Angelina’s but I don’t think we will be coming back. For $250+ (no wine) one would expect to have an enjoyable experience, but that certainly was not the case. We are probably of the minority opinion based on all the wonderful reviews I’ve read about this establishment, but my suggestion would be to place as much focus on the taste and quality of the food, as much as is placed on the extensive wine offering. So sorry but we really wanted it to work…

Wow wow wow… by far the best Italian we have ever had. The food was the absolute best, The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was great. The fresh pasta was incredibly and the veal was so good. Mushroom soup was well gone in minutes. A must try when in SW Florida.

The most amazing restaurant in Florida. Better than any 5 star restaurant in NYC. Impeccable service, gourmet food, and the atmosphere exceeded expectations. The private booths are an old world extra that perfectly sets the mood. A little expensive but well worth it!

Great happy hour food specials. Melissa at the bar is fantastic! And love, love, love Rob and the piano bar.
