Really great subs, I stopped in for lunch on a road trip and was really happy to discover how great these sandwiches were. Really perfect ingredient ratio, excellent dressing and sauces with a really delicious vinegar, definitely recommend and will stop back in if I get the chance.

This place is always good! It's a family owned business with a lot of heart. They make everyone feel welcomed and the food is always fresh. The bologna burger is a local favorite. Personally I love the NC BBQ sandwich with coleslaw, Italian, cheese steak, and meatball subs.

Absolutely loved this place and will be back whenever I'm in the area. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best turkey Reubens Ive ever had. The Italian has some sub sauce that is super yummy. And fast! They had our order in less than 10 minutes even though 6 people walked in all at the same time.

I make it a point to stop here for lunch or dinner when I’m in the area. The food is very delicious and the staff is very friendly. One of my favorite places to have a good meal.

Definitely one of those "hole in the wall" places but everything was really good! The owner was real nice too.

My daughter has been going to Longwood for almost four years, and we pass by this place pretty regularly. However, we never stopped in until the other day when Subway closed earlier than their sign said. I'm so glad that we couldn't get anything from subway since this place is amazing! The bread for my sandwich was fresh and delicious. I got a steak and cheese which was probably one of the best I've ever had. I love the fine shredded lettuce. I will definitely not be passing this place by the next time I go out there, and I recommend that you give it a try when you're passing by as well.

Today I went in and ordered the Sailor. Plenty of Ingredients and very tasty. Polite staff that delivered great tasting sandwich. Will return

If I could give a zero star I would. Never had a Philly cheese steak, with a half head of lettuce and a bottle on vinaigrette with no meat. I wouldn’t usually fret over this sort of thing but it was a 40 dollar lunch with only 3 sandwiches no fries and a 35 minute wait. Amelia county deserves much more than this small community sub shop ripping people for their cash.

Probably the best sub shop in southern Virginia. Father & son operation. I passed it for years and never stopped, and now I’ve been about ten times (in the past year).

The food was absolutely delicious! They were slammed at 1pm with a huge carry out order, but still managed to make me some awesome subs. They let me know they were insanely busy, but still made time to be friendly & communicate the status of my order. I will definitely make a point to eat here again anytime I’m passing through Amelia. We had the meatball parm & Sicilian …quality food

I’ve eaten Angelo’s subs a lot over the years and took a break during the vid. Went back today because I was in the area and fell in love all over again! I had the pastrami & swiss with lettuce, tomato, onion with oil and vinegar and a touch of mayo. It was amazing. Nothing but the freshest ingredients! If you have the chance to stop and grab a sub, do it!!! You will not regret you did. Excellent customer service too! I also love supporting local businesses.

I had a tuna wrap. It was a generous size and delicious. So big I had to take half of it home. They had a nice glass case of desserts that looked yummy but I was too full to try any. Cute decor but what I didn't like was how dirty the place was. Windows were filthy. Dust and cobwebs on the ceiling, walls and hanging lamps. Floor boards and the floor were disgusting. Bits of food on the seats. It made me very concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Would I go again? Don't think so. It's hard to eat when you see dirt and filth everywhere you look.

Very little substance to the sandwiches. Maybe 2-3 slices of meat and cheese. Barely enough for a sandwich. You can squeeze the bread and you barely have a sandwich. NY prices for barely nothing sandwich.

We enjoyed the best subs ever in this incredible gem of a restaurant...fresh bread and perfectly done meat, great sweet potato fries and best of all the most incredible chocolate cake of our lives and that is saying a lot!! Wonderful homestyle service by people who truly care to give a nice meal and take pride in their business.

It’s been 9 years since we lived in Amelia Court House, Virginia. It’s been 9 years since I had a Turkey cranberry sub from Angelo's Sub Cafe. It was well worth the wait but I dang sure hope it’s not another 9 years till I have the next one. This is absolutely the best sub on earth. I’d almost walk from Florida for one.

Wait for a very good sub instead of waiting in the pickup at McDonald's.

The menu has a great variety, my personal favorites are the "Turkey, Bacon & Pineapple" and the Ruben. Fries are good, and the staff is very nice!!! Still so much to try, il update this when I try everything. When this place closes, my heart will brake.

For a small sub restaurant. i will say that it was the best subs i have ever eaten i mean subway has some major competition. I love food in all honesty and places like this one are the reason. Customer service was amazing vary friendly. I will say 10/10 would recommend everyone to eat here.

Delicious sandwiches! Nice staff, very friendly. The corned beef and swiss was so delicious!!!!! My sister got pastrami and swiss so we split our lunch. The pastrami was great too.

I've seen this place countless times and never stopped. I wish I would have stopped before. The subs are amazing. I was never in there before and was treated like I'm a regular and go everyday.

We absolutely love Angelos. We've never had anything on the menu we didn't like, it's our go to spot. It's awesome that Angelo takes the time to talk to every customer and gets to know them.

We used to stop here on our way into town from points west. When they adjusted their hours, we couldn't do this anymore. On a whim we decided to drive over and eat there. Glad we did. The food was good and it was nice to catch up with Angelo. I'd recommend this to others.

Stopped by on our way to Bedford from a visit to Williamsburg. Good meatball sub, Italian sausage sub, French fries, and Chef salad.

I stopped at Angelo’s returning from a trip to NC. Just a random stop and I didn’t want the usual chain restaurant. I got the chicken Philly cheesesteak. I swear this sub was touched by god himself. It was amazing. I wish I didn’t live 100 miles away.

The food is absolutely Awesome and best service I've seen in years. It's been 20 years since I had a sub that great. French fries fresh and hot great tasting, first time see my lady finish a big sandwich Ruben was excellent, but the meatball sub scrumptious.

Superb customer service and the best subs!

Not great at taking orders, we ordered 3 subs with different toppings and they all came with the same thing on them. The steak parm subs are really boring, no flavor. They made the subs quick and the price wasn't bad. Could have been better.

Angelo’s Sub Cafe has excellent subs and other food. The handwritten sign on the door this morning said it was closed until further notice because of an emergency. Hopefully, this establishment will reopen soon. We enjoyed the owner being fully hands on with his business, and they offered great service!

I drive 1 hour to go and get the chicken philly subs... oh my God it’s so good I usually get two subs.. one for while there and one later in the evening. And my family who lives 4 hours away always wants me to bring them subs... am telling you these subs are the best of the best... and the staff there are so welcoming.. it just feels like that warm homey place for that delicious subs you will never forget the taste of. Thanks 🙏
