I attended with my husband on Sunday, September 1, I ordered a roast beef with tortilla, they brought me a steak with a tortilla and the meat had a tomato sauce on top when clearly what I ordered was roast beef with a tortilla, I asked that they bring me what I had ordered and the The waitress very rudely told me that she was going to see if the cook wanted to do it again. The food arrived and I never got the drink. I had to ask another waitress to please bring me water and my drink. When it arrived, the coffee cup was dirty with lipstick. I complained about it. That and they brought me a cup of hot water and the coffee on the side so that I could prepare it myself. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me that there was no one in charge. Terrible customer service. To be honest, I'm very disappointed. I don't plan to return, much less recommend it, just always arrive on time. weekends with my family but there are other places that sell the same food and give you better service

Food was great, it was the first time I tried Guatemalan 's food. The flavors and quality of each platter was fantastic. Service was ok. Waitresses were very friendly and kind, but they were rushing all over the place because the restaurant was very crowded. The atmosphere was acceptable in general terms. Music a bit to loud. It is an informal restaurant, where locals frequent, because of the good traditional food. There is room for some improvements, but for it's really good.

This place is ok. However save yourself time if you come on the weekends. They take a long time to bring your food. In this place the food is good. But if you want to save time, don't come on weekends. They take a long time to bring the food.

Bad experience before, this restaurant was one of my favorites but I asked for chuchitos and they gave me this and the worst thing was without sauce they told me that they only gave the sauce when I ate there, not for takeout, horrible, fatal, I won't go back

This place had been one of the favorite places for many years until this last time I went with my husband and on top of that I was the one who insisted on going and I regretted it since the owners had to repair the air conditioners with all the diners. there, I couldn't understand in what head that fatal idea of ​​combining the stairs, dirt falling from the ceiling and them in the middle could occur, first they couldn't make me the smoothies because they were on the roof checking the air right there, then they couldn't I was able to go to the bathroom because they were also working there, they took a while to serve us, the girl who served us at the entrance said sit wherever you want and when we sat down our waitress said that we couldn't sit there because there were only two of us and we were at a table of four and It was rush hour and finally when we were about to pay they gave us the news hahaha that the air carriers had disconnected the charging machines or the electricity in that place and that there was no charging system and that we had to wait, so my husband told him He said it wasn't our fault and we were in a hurry to ask if we could pay with Zelle, so the waitress went and asked, they gave us a little trouble but in the end they accepted through the cashier, it was very depressing to be honest.

Im not sure if it is because the restaurant has new owners, but the quality is not the same anymore unfortunately. I purchased the long plantains and the 1st time they were burned. So i requested a new order and now they were extremely soft. The meat tasted raw and it was not well cooked. Plus they also charge for containers to go $1.00. Like who does that???

There are three waitresses talking and eating and they talk very loudly, they don't realize which customers I think the manager has to be more aware of that.

They recommended the place to me, and you must have a bad experience, I ordered a soup and to complement it with rice and tortilla I had to pay separately as extras, the person who served me with a very bad attitude and what ends up getting worse is that he added an extra charge , I asked him what that charge is (S CHARGE is in the photo) and he told me that it was the MANDATORY tip, as far as the tip is voluntary, and it shows a lack of respect, that is being shameless, and daring, because he didn't even have the decency to take 2 dollars, but almost 5, and he didn't even deserve that amount due to the poor service, the restaurant should evaluate its workers better and if it is true that tipping is mandatory, then a terrible recommendation for this place.

We are repeating customers at this location. Food has always been delicious. We recently visited this location and realized that it had gone under some renovation. It does look nicer than before. However, food is still delicious. Our waiter and rsst of staff was very tentative and friendly. I definitely recommend this location.

The food does not have the original Guatemalan flavor. We bought a tamale and they served it still cold, poorly reheated. The enchiladas had a lot of cabbage and the meat tasted bad and they didn't have beets. It's just not what I expected. The price was very high for what we ordered, they only gave me the total but not the bill itself to check what I bought. The waitress was very efficient and friendly but if the food is not good the place is not good.

The restaurant serves delicious Guatemalan food, I mean it’s to die for. I come here every-time I am in the area, and to be honest I make myself go to the area quite often to get their pupusas! I know in their kitchen they are cooking with passion because the food comes out hot and serve with amazing side dishes.

Very lousy food, they lost the flavor of the place, I don't recommend it even to have a drink. They no longer have anything from Guatemala

The owner is a thief, he steals 10% of the tips from the waitresses if they pay with a card that is illegal in Florida if they are going to tip they give them cash only a tremendous thief is the owner

Very nice small restaurant to go if you want to eat good! Atmosphere is great, love the decor inside, it makes you feel good. The service is great, their small churrasco is my absolute favorite, it comes with cream, beans, cheese, pico de gallo and tortillas, and the price is good ( I think $17 or $20) Their drinks are really good, the horchata is very well made same ad the frozen lemonade. I have been going to this place for years, and it my number one favorite if Im craving a good churrasco!!

For pick-up orders, they force you to tip 18% that's just ridiculous. It wasn't like that before. Food is good. But place is outdated. They need to give it some touch up maintenance it's like they never give it good maintenance. The walls could use some paint and bar area update it a bit... SPECIALLY if they charge 18% for a pick up order.

The service was terrible, they only brought us food and never asked if we needed anything else. The food had nothing to do with my Guatemala, it didn't look fresh I do not recommend it

The service and presentation of the dishes excellent. The bathrooms are very nice and the parking area is quite large.

I didn’t want to write this but The food was delicious 10 years ago 5 years ago 3 years ago until now .. the eggs with chorizo were amazing before, now they have different taste burn pieces mix with it the melted beans where actually aguados now it’s basically soup unfortunately not good anymore ..

Food could not be worse. We ordered fried whole fish. Kid's steak (was supposed to be well done and was rare) Steak (was supposed to be medium rare , was well done) This steak had NO SEASONING AT ALL NOT EVEN SALT Chicken Fajitas were SOOOOO SALTY they must have put the steak's salt on the Fajitas. The tostones.... no salt, not the right texture. Lemonade..... $5.50 for 6 oz of lemon, water, and sugar with no refills!!! I thought for sure they must've put gold in there! I asked for ice twice before she remembered. The server had an attitude, and this meal was over $100.

Mal servicio y comida recalentada

Antigua has always been a family favorite. The carne asada is their best plate. It’s soft and tender and well priced. The pupusas are amazing and their horchata is super yummy. Overall a good place to have breakfast lunch or dinner with family. It could be a little bit cleaner.

Es una tristeza experimentar un servicio tan desagradable y tan malo que pedimos una sopa de res para llevar y son tan sinvergüenzas que ni siquiera dan arroz ni tortillas, como si eso costara una fortuna y para acabar y rematar ni siquiera le pusieron verduras, o sea que nos dieron agua con carne👹. Son demasiado sinvergüenzas, los tamales mejor me ahorro el amargo comentario.

If you want to try a different kind of breakfast ask for Huevos rancheros. They are delicious!!!

Lamentablemente cuando se pide comida para llevar automáticamente cobran la propina. Pregunte a la mesera y me dijo que ellos vivían de la propina. Yo entiendo que la propina se paga para un servicio cuando uno se sienta a comer y lo atienden a uno, nunca para llevar, en el recibo 🧾 automáticamente cobran la propina luego ponen más propina adicional.. yo soy muy justo para dar propinas siempre las doy. Yo creo que si le cobran propina para llevar comida debería ser para el cocinero 👨‍🍳 ya que ellos son los que empacan la comida. En este caso el mesero solo puso la orden. Delicious bold flavors. The restaurant was packed. Finding a parking spot will prove to be difficult. Getting seated is a little tricky but once you get a table prepare to titillate your taste buds. The server was very attentive. The garnachas are very yummy and a great starter. They do have a small coffee and dessert section you can also seat at and let the sugar rush begin.

Place says it opens at 9 a.m but it wasn’t open and it’s not the first it happens

Definitely has lost there touch food is not the same the meat has a lot more fat in it. The tortillas are incredible smaller everything has gone up in prices. my wife ordered steak and it taste off (either rancid or over sitting in the seasoning) The place looks the same as in falling apart the bathroom are old and small and dirty . The guy that watches the parking lot makes you feel like you have to tip him not to break in your car. Sadly i grow up coming here once or twice a month for ever. But can't Justify the over prices to keeping eating here. When miami has many of the same restaurants for more affordble prices . They try to pull a fast one on you and include the tip for two people for lunch on top of the bill before you can put your own. Sad to say its a end of era.

Primera vez que visitabamos éste restaurante. Me pareció muy mala atención, muy desagradable y grosero el hecho que pregunté por un platillo que desconocía y al retirarse la mesera, observé como se burlaba con otra mesera por el hecho que desconocía ese platillo en singular. Me pareció de muy mal gusto y demuestra la pobre atención con sus clientes. Definitivamente no volveremos ahí, mucho menos recomendarle.

Pasó de ser uno de mis restaurantes favoritos a ser el peor al que he ido. Mal servicio, el sabor de las comidas nada que ver al sazón guatemalteco, música tan alta que parece una cantina, se demoraron casi una hora en servirnos y la comida estaba fría y súper fea, mi mamá se comió un pescado frito que sabía horrible y quemado, yo pedí carne adobada que sabía a cualquier cosa menos a la carne adobada, las enchiladas no se comparan a las de Guatemala y los precios exageradamente altos. No me importa pagar pero por algo que esté rico pero lamentablemente no fue el caso. El 18% del tip está automáticamente agregado en el recibo. Los baños sucios y feos. 😞🥴

First time trying Guatemalan Food, we were a big group, everybody like it, everything was delicious. My favorite was Tamal de puerco. Steak was tender. Service was a little bit messy but very friendly. Tables are too close to each other. Bathroom need renovation. The music was on and off, I prefer not loud music. Tip is included in the check. Valet parking $6

Soy de Guatemala, despues de 3 años volvi al restaurante, quede desepcionada, ya la comida a perdido su autenticidad, los chiles rellenos nada que ver a los originales, de que sirve un gran trozo de carne si no sabe a nada, donde quedaron la zanahoria, el ejote?? Lo unico que encontre fue unos pedacitos de papa, por que le ponen granos de elote??la salsa de tomate agridulce, las garnachas nada que ver, los tamales parecian paches resecos, el ceviche caldo de limon con cebolla y cilantro, pedimos tambien un supuesto shuco y la salchicha bailaba en el pan cubano. No se si cambiaron de dueños o los cocineros son de otra nacion?? Mala atencion de las meseras, mas se mantienen platicando entre ellas..solo puedo decir que no volvere alli, lastima!!

Muy mala calidad de la comida , chile relleno con mal olor a dañado , el arroz súper seco como pegado de la olla . Ordene también Chuchitos y es un poco de masa con color sin sabor y súper aguado . Lo único rico fue la limonada . Gaste bastante y fue para nada toda la comida que lleve a mi casa para mi familia se fue a la basura ..

We been coming here for years, but seems like the place changed, the service was terrible, I usually don’t do reviews but our experience was very bad. We order our drinks and food, 30 mnts later they gave us our food, with no drinks no silverware and when they finally give us our drinks in a to go cup with no straw I had to go ask my self for a straw. The meet was hard too hard unable to chew it, The waitress said she can replace for something else with out me asking and I agreed cuz I thought it was kind, when they brought the plate back it was only the meet in a to go plate with no rice and no beans after she had already taken my whole plate in the middle of eating, I just ended up eating from my mothers plate. Once the bills arrives, they automatically put tips on the bill and there is an option for you to leave EXTRA Tip LOL!!! I’m so sad this place change so much, this is no longer Antigua Guatemala. (I can tell the food is reheated so be careful don’t get sick)

It's okay. Food is okay and service ok. The only good food I can remember is the chicharrones and cheese pupusas.

We've been eating here for over 10 yrs now. The quality hasn't really changed. You can count on good food at reasonable prices. The portions are satisfying, and I would even say hefty. We would highly recommend the "deditos de pollo empanizados" and beef soup. Our daughters love the grilled chicken fajitas and fresh frozen limonada. All-in-all, a good family-friendly restaurant with a variety of Meso-American food choices. Just be aware that this can get pretty packed during lunchtime on weekdays since local employees from neighboring businesses/institutions frequent here. Also, don't expect high-end service. This is a casual, relaxed environment.

Terrible servicio pedimos 4 caldos de res y fueron 93 dlĺs cuando el precio es 10 dlls por platillo y resulta que todo se cobra arparte ahi, el arroz que viene con el caldo es aparte, las tortillas aparte, si pides cebolla o limón para el caldo también ahí que pagar aparte y si pides algo para llevar los contederos donde te lo dan y la bolsa también te cobran y no es el dinero si no la falta de profesionalismo y que no te avisa. Que todo es aparte ya solo te traen el recibo donde te cobraron todo separado y sin decirte antes, muy unprofessional y terrible como si fuera un restaurante de 5 estrellas

Cuisine is authentic to its culture, with fresh and natural ingredients and juices. Highly recommend. You must try their appetizer "pupusa" and their "Carne Asada".
