Delicious, homemade flavor, Honduran. The plantains, platanos, qué rico!

Being from Detroit and in Ypsilanti visiting, I needed my Coney fix. Stumbled across Antonio's. I do love the diner atmosphere. Got my Coney dog, but also had an omelette that was loaded with good stuff! The menu has a different variety than most Coney Island diners, and that's a good thing! Be adventurous! If I lived nearby Antonio's would likely be in a regular rotation for great, quick diner fare.

This place is amazing. I’ve lived in Boston, San Francisco, and now Ann Arbor - this place is my absolute favorite restaurant anywhere. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - everything is delicious. Their menu is incredible and the food is cooked to perfection. I could honestly eat here every single day every single meal.

The Honduran food is the best. It’s authentic, not Tex-Mex style. It may be a Coney Island restaurant but the Honduran menu is why I go there. Delish!

This place is one of my favorite breakfast places in town. The price is right and the service has always been excellent here. Most importantly, the food will always come out hot and delicious. I would come back here over and over again without getting tired of their food.

I love this place! The food is great, and service is a bit slow but has a good vibe. Its often a bit slow and there which makes me think it is a best-kept secret more people should know about.

This is a cute little coney island with a great twist of Central American dishes! We were greeted very warmly by staff and immediately taken care of. If your looking for a great meal for a great price I recommend them!

Breakfast was great! Normally, I wouldn't comment on refried beans, but theirs are worth a comment! Also, the Honduras coffee was better than what you would expect from a diner. We will be back to try dinner.

so bloody good. had the honduran breakfast here. not sure what they put in their beans but i could eat it by the ladle-ful. the plantains too. perfection. such a good breakfast plate, with good portions - did not have to take any leftovers with me and was full by the end of the meal.

One of my fav spots for food. Their Central American menu is top tier. Could eat their pupusas and stuffed plantains for the rest of my life on a daily basis because they are so good! I’ve done both done in and carry out and love it each time.

Amazing! The food is so delicious. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall diner, so not somewhere you'd want to go for a fancy dinner, but great for a casual breakfast or lunch. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Take any of their recommendations - they are all great. The portions are large so order less than you think or plan to pack leftovers. I have been twice and will definitely go back!

Simply the best… better than all the rest

How have I not heard of this place until now! Everything is truly awesome. Excellent melting pot of central American and Coney Island faire. The plantains are a MUST. U guys need to invest in more advertising is all I can say. Everyone needs to try this place.

My friend from work took me here and I really loved it! The fried chicken on a bed of banana chips was amazing which is the #3. It is located in the Fountain Square Plaza off of Washtenaw. I plan on going back to try the rest of the menu. It's a smaller restaurant but is cozy and the staff was friendly.

This is a little Gem. Small place but great original and authentic Honduras breakfast. Will go back again .

Excellent food for a restaurant that is called a Coney Island but is much much more. Always good food and our service was outstanding. Will definitely return soon.

If you are bored with the usual this place is well wirth a visit. The waiter suggested gallo pinto, and it was fantastic.

Cramped, waitstaff makes you wait long periods without checking on you or asking for drinks..if there are regulars in the building, don't expect to be served AT ALL until they have their food and are eating happily. Also if you do not speak Spanish do not expect regular service.

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Seated immediately and waited on within 2 minutes. Coffee was strong and smooth. Food came out quickly and was delicious! I had the breakfast quesadilla. My husband had the California omelette. The only complaint I’d make is that the hash browns weren’t very crispy and were mostly flavourless. On the other hand, the hot sauce was amazing.

Excellent Honduran food at a Coney Island location - I love their fried chicken platter! The champurrado (hot chocolate corn drink) is fantastic & an excellent cold weather drink.

Best breakfast in Washtenaw County. The #1 Honduran Breakfast is unbeatable: eggs, sausage, beans, cabbage slaw, crema, avocado, fried plantains, and tortillas.

Incredible food and lovely wait staff. Have visited this place twice now and planning many more lunch dates here. It's small and very casual with a modest menu of American and Honduran dishes.

Pollo con tajadas was really good. The only bad thing were the Baleadas. Not sure if whoever does them wasn't there that day, but the ones I got were not authentic. If you're Honduran, you just know. They tasted just like the flour tortillas you get at a supermarket. I was dissapointed cause I even asked when i ordered them through the phone.

Tried it based on a recommendation and oh my goodness, it was excellent! The food was delicious. This is the place to be if you want real, cooked home Honduran food. The pupusas were incredible, the torta was perfect and the yuca with pork was beautiful and delicious!

This place is a hidden gem. Their Honduran food is unreal. Best chorizo I’ve ever had. The papusas are killer. The enchiladas (pictured) were amazing. Everything is priced so reasonably. Can’t wait to come back!

This is an absolutely fantastic spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I ordered a bunch of small plates off the menu and loved everything I ate. Most of the food is authentic Honduran but there is also an American-style section of the menu so there's something for all tastes. The staff was super friendly and the whole meal was very affordable.

Only thing worse than the service was the food, waitress just memorized my order and got a ton wrong... and the food in general was horrible the bun on my coney was hard, the egg whites were runny and my order of French toast flat out had 0 flavor

Best coney island ever! How is that possible? Because they serve fresh Honduran and Guatamalan food in addition to the coney classics.

The food was so amazing. They were so well seasoned and full of flavor. I got the fried chicken and it came with so much food that I was stuffed at the end of the meal. The waitress was also super nice and bi-lingual.

It has traditional Coney Island food but the Mexican and Central menu set it apart. This food is authentic, craveable and delicious. Chef Miguel's specialties will keep you coming back. 4-26-2023 My original review was 5 years ago and the quality remains top notch.

Great experience, great service, great food

Had the Honduran breakfast, and it was incredible. The food came out steaming hot in about 5-10 minutes, no joke! I highly recommend and will be going back.

Antonio's is a real gem, and I'm really happy that this part of town got a restaurant like this. Very friendly, fast service, and fantastic food. The Honduran breakfast is definitely the dish to get, the fried plantains are top tier. Pay attention to any specials on the chalkboard, I had a great mug of atole de elote. This is a wonderful place - traditional coney offerings for wary young ones, great Central American fare for grownups. I should try more of the menu, but I love the whole fish so much I can't resist and order it almost every time.

Looking for a coney island. It was more of Latino food, but it was tasty! Their slaw is on point!

Expensive for what you get. We ordered a salad, they don't seem to wash the vegetables since we found little insects in the lettuce. I don't recommend this place.

Wow. I stopped in for a basic breakfast. But what I got was a meal that completely blew me away. This quaint little Coney Island is an amazing find. I can't believe it's not busy every minute of the day.

A homey Honduran joint masquerading as a coney. Skip the hot dogs and go for Honduran breakfasts and pupusas. Service is quick en Ingles, even quicker en Español. Get. Dessert.

Amazing little hole in the wall place! I have been hearing more and more people talk about this place and for good reason. All of the food we had was amazing and we are excited to go back and try the brunch. The service was amazing and so friendly. Such a great spot!

Ordered two breakfast paid $7.00 and change for each got home no jelly no butter no condiments at all no ever napkins call back was told it was my fault for not asking for it i was told I should have read the sign saying check your order before you leave why should I have to check you should have responsibly people working not blaming the customer for rotten customer service I asked the person answering the phone was I to eat with my fingers & wipe my mouth on my sleeve anymore who care about how you're treated when you spend your cash don't do business here I deserve better

This is a great place for breakfast. The portions are generous and the coffee is really good. You can choose between classic coney food, or central American cuisine. Pupusas are excellent with beans and Honduran slaw. Steak and eggs were great, and what's not to love about fried plantains? Definitely go and try

So happy we stumbled across Antonios. If we saw the name alone we wouldn’t have known it was Honduran, so it was a great surprise. Super fresh, hot food like we have not found any where else in the area. SO delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.

The food was super flavorful and everything came out hot from the kitchen. We had the chorizo breakfast and Honduras style chicken tacos (kind of like a taquito) the prices were very fair and there was no wait. Would highly recommend.

Food and service are excellent!! Waitresses are beyond than polite and nice!! I will go over and over again. Campechana torta is amazing! I am so happy that this restaurant is still running despite all shortage of staff and prices going up!! Keep working hard guys! Community loves you!!

Food was excellent. Watch the prices however - the chips and guac we ordered that were a few dollars on the menu magically became $8 when the bill came. When asked, the reason cited was "inflation." I'd be happy to pay whatever you want to charge if it wasn't a surprise when the bill comes.

I wasn’t hangry yet and wanted a coney dog. The waitress was very nice, bilingual, and needed to ask the cook to fix my meal per my order (no onions or mustard). All went well. I would go again for something different to try.

So good, the huevos con salchichas was top notch. 9$ later I was left completely satisfied, very hard to find this food around and they deserve every bit of praise. Keep it up!

DISSAPOINTING AND IRRITATING. Asked wat salad is best for the ingredients i want and was recommended the Cobb salad asked for everything excep 3 ingredients to be taken out with extra chicken and extra egg. Ended up with blue cheese (allergy) and tomatoes. I expressed the issue with the bc and was rudely told what I didn't say 5 times. Fast forward I go to pick up my remake she asked for the salad but I refused (they wanted to pick thru the toppings) to give her the salad until they remade mine after 15 minutes the cook comes out with a half filled salad complaining about lettuce and argued with me over the refund and lettuce. i dont give no one a hard time but these women were nasty and petty and never again. Worse experience ever.

There was a maggot in my friends broccoli soup, and the waiter tried to justify it by saying it was “flour from the broccoli”. when she brought out our dishes there was a hair on my plate. very unsanitary, we didn’t even touch the rest of our food
