Of course the owner and chef came out and, so graciously, greeted everyone. Absolutely wonderful meal in an atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. I actually took a guest...never disappointing take guest...very consistent in quality...always! If I go out, I want an excellent food experience. This IS the place!

Have dined here several times and it has always been excellent. The lady who said She had better at Longhorn must be from another planet. Longhorn isn't even close. Best restaurant in Okeechobee.

Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Took a party of 7 and no one was happy with their dishes. The service was very slow , waited over 25 minutes for each drink order and there was one person at the bar and only one other table in the establishment. We had to get up And ask the bartender for our drinks several times ,No excuses. I been a bartender and server myself and I can not justify. . The food definitely did not justified the prices. I expect it better service and better taste. Will never return.spend over 500 dollars and still went to lightseys to have an appetizer.

First time eating brunch here. It was delicious, met the chef, he was so nice. Recommend this place 100%.

Upscale prices didn't match the service or the atmosphere. My brother got up twice to go to the bar to order another beer. One steak undercooked, 2 steaks overcooked. Brussel sprouts were undercooked and hard. Lobster was not hot. French onion soup was too salty. All tables should have white tablecloths, not just the ones for reservations. Upscale restaurants usually pour you water when you're your seated. This didn't happen, although reservation tables were already set with water glasses. Owner also owns Parrot Island and pulls servers from there to serve in what is supposed to be an upscale environment without proper upscale training. This was nothing but another Cowboys Restaurant/Parrot Island, with much higher prices. Owner wanted to compensate my overcooked steak with a free desert. I declined. With bill of 391.00 for 4 people, excluding the tip, service and food should have been top-notch. Try this place if you must. Hopefully your experience is better than ours.

For the prices they charge on menu, the service must be top notch, the food must be impeccable, and the serving sizes should be much larger and include 2 sides, nothing should be a la carte. In fact everything on menu should come w salad and 2 sides for those prices. The service was ok but they left us thirsty for too long. The ribeye was cooked fine but honestly I’ve had better at Longhorn. $25 for pasta w no meat=ridiculous! Out of lobster, out of fish so can’t really call it steak and seafood restaurant. Short ribs were tender and good, but again serving sizes are SMALL. Decor was nicely done. We wish you all the luck in the world because in this town yall are going to need it. We work hard in this town and value our $, and for this reason I cannot ever justify coming back

Only rib eye is a 27 oz. Give me a break! Food was good ,service was good but I want a steakhouse when you advertise it. Sorry won't be back until you have normal portions

Lovely evening, great steaks,cooked as ordered (i.e., rare, Pittsburgh style). Sides were tasty, desserts decadent. Brandon was excellent server. Pleasure to have this restaurant in Okeechobee.

This restaurant would possibly be a return restaurant. BUT!!! We ordered the beast burger which was venison, bison, elk, and beef. The mix of wild game would have been great except the burger was so over salted you could barely eat it. We also got strawberry Margaret's and they were not mixed properly. For $17.50 per drink : that the prices were not listed: they should have rocked us off our chairs. The real reason other than what I posted was the cost. 2 burgers, 2 fries, 4 Margaret's, and a bowl of over sweet French onion soup. $165.00. That's a no return restaurant for me and the party that was with us.

Bad service, salty and dry food. Lobster Mac and cheese, dried out. They no longer serve whole lobster, even though it's on the menu. Would NOT go back.

Our first time at Apolonias tonight but, won't be the last! We had a great waitress(Jennifer) very attentive and friendly. My husband had prime rib and mashed potatoes. I had apolonias salad, fried green tomatoes and the mushroom special of the evening. Everything was delicious kudos to Chef Will👍🏼❤️

Three of us went on Thursday and ordered the 24 oz steak! Each of us agreed that our steaks were wonderful! The restaurant was very classy. Hopefully, this place will maintain its good service and quality of food in Okeechobee.

Make Okeechobee hasn't seen a place this good. They are lucky to have them.

Almost, that’s what comes to mind. The atmosphere is beautiful and the music is relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The New York strip steak was e ry well prepared, we were happy. We started with the lobster bisque and crab cake and both were delicious. The opportunity they have is bread, if you are trying for 5 stars get a fresh bread basket to start or at least not stale rolls. The other was the baked potato was overcooked and that should not happen in a 5 star restaurant . It may be due to new kitchen staff but little things matter if you are trying for 5 stars. We will give them some time and revisit to see what happens.

This restaurant is amazing. It offers a warm yet classy atmosphere. Prices were higher than Okeechobee is used to but, no more higher than I have paid at other high quality places. The restaurant was quiet, there is music playing in the background but not so loud that you struggle to have a conversation. The food was absolutely some of the best I have ever had! The steaks were cooked to perfection, the asparagus had amazing texture and flavor. Even the baked potato was great! The staff could not have done their Job better! They were pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

We had a Valentine's Day reservation. They called me to confirm twice. The second time they offered an earlier seating which was fine as we were headed in early to have a drink. We were greeted at the door by a friendly hostess, taken to our table and given our menus including the Valentines special. That was the last time ANYONE spoke to us until we left almost a half an hour later when they said good night at the door. I will not continue with this review as I want them to succeed and believe they have the potential to do so. So I am very willing to change this but I will give them three months or so. If they're still open I'll try again.

At last, a restaurant with fine dining. I have no problem with pub grub, but to sit in an elegant setting, be spoiled by an attentive waiter (Miguel), have different and varied appetizers, entrées, and delicious desserts---it was a marvelous dining experience. The fried green tomato appetizer special was so flavorful. The crab stuffed flounder was done to perfection. The crab cake tasty and fresh. The short rib risotto was the perfect size, the Thai shrimp was a well portioned for a lighter appetite. Desserts: chocolate cake: moist and rich; strawberry cheesecake none better; the creme brulee could have been more firm in texture, and crusty, but we will try it again as it had wonderful flavor. Don't let the prices deter you. It is a worthy effort on the part of the owners. Coastal dining right here in Okeechobee.

I think the food is a nice classy breath of fresh air, and the mood is the right level of regal allowing for a comfortable energy while enjoying your meal. The owners themselves are very active and show plenty of initiative which shows just how much they care about our experiences as customers and also as members of the community.

Great detail in presentation,chef was very pleasent and very knowledgeable,was informed he had been the chef for the Dallas cowboys 8 years very clean staff was extremely helpful and friendly,a little pricey but that's what you get with upscale dining, cowboy ribeye was fantastic,filet mignon was excellent,short rib risotto was very good as well excellent service excellent food excellent experience definitely will be returning to apoloina's if you want a real prime cut aged excellent steak this is your destination no doubt

My husband and I went for our anniversary on New Year’s Day. We ordered French onion soup which was good. They do bring bread but it is a small hard dinner roll with a plain, unsalted butter. The seating area is not fancy, no tablecloths like in the pictures. My husband ordered the 12 oz filet, which was cooked perfectly and had a decent amount of seasoning, however the baked potato was over cooked and small. I ordered the whole main lobster which was very undercooked and absolutely gross. The first bite I took was the crab stuffing, it was undercooked and I got a big chunk of lobster guts. It came with broccolini which was steamed with garlic. The garlic flavor was the only thing I could taste. The waitress offered me a box for my uneaten lobster, but I explained that the lobster was undercooked and not edible. They did offer a free dessert due to my lobster not being cooked. I declined. My husband and I ended up going to a fast food restaurant so I could get something to eat. That was better than the food here. The bill came to approximately 180.00 after tip and we didn’t get any alcohol. I have eaten at many fine dining restaurants and this is not one. We will not go back.
