Delicious Food 🍲 and Friendly Service! Our Waitress was especially friendly and helpful!

Pasta dinner came to table with barely any sauce. We asked for some sauce and were charged for it. Manager said pasta was portioned. He was very busy sitting at the bar talking and not working. I have had same dish many times at other Applebees, never had any problems. Do not go to applebees in Waynesboro VA

Great food, but the ribeye steak my favorite!!

It was clean, the wait staff was very friendly, it was an hour before closing, but they didn't try to rush us, their menu is varied as we've come to expect. Our group of six chose from appetizers, pancakes and sausage,, chicken. Hamburgers, fries, French Onion Soup, salad, and one person had a plate featuring an array of meats, eggs, waffles, fruit - kind of all you can eat choice. We went home relaxed and happy.

Went here Sunday August 25 walked in and smelled old but figured we give it a try me and my husband we ordered honey barbecue chicken for appetizers and I ordered a 8oz steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli and my husband ordered a bourbon burger no onions only mushrooms when our waitress brought our food his burger had onions only no mushrooms they took it away I shared my food with him if I send food back we don't eat it when they brought our check out food was still 44 dollars plus change nothing was done to compensate that appetizers of chicken was 13.99 and my steak was 18.99 so the steak dinner was only 5 dollars more they had no remorse and the waitress said to my husband that's what you ordered I doubt someone that hates onions would order them lousy service and the restaurant is run down

Hamburger and fries. Waitress was great. Husband enjoyed His chicken shrimp with mashed potatoes. Have to say the ice tea was really good.

Update: prices have gotten very high but that's the same everywhere. Food is decent but standard. Servers are always friendly. So the food HAD really gone downhill at this particular branch. However, the last time I ate there I have to say the food was very good. As was the service. My mixed drink was weak and pricey which was disappointing but to be expected at a chain like this. Server was sweet and helpful also very attentive.

Service was outstanding. Only 2 wait staff were present although it was not apparent as they were incredibly efficient. Our young waiter was perfect. The food was well prepared and didn't take long to arrive at the table.

Hardly busy, but took FOREVER for someone to come over and order. Food was over cooked and they kept bleaching around our table while we were eating.

Emma was our waitress. She was fantastic. We totally enjoyed our dinner. If I had a restaurant I'd steal her!

Daughter had a plastic piece in meal. Manager was nice about it however my daughter did not (understandably) want to eat after that. The other meals were good, just check your food!

Floor was dirty. Our waitress was very busy so others were helping us.

Togo order steak was burnt i order med rare server thought i was going to tip her $45 for togo order i handed her $100 for $54 order she asked me if i wanted my change lol as if i should tip $45 for a togo oreder yeah right plus i had to ask for my drink i ordered cant say i wont go back as to there are is no other places around here to eat but yeah not go service and the nerve of these people think they are worth when they dont deserve any tips needless to say she got $5 tip next time she will get no tip which is what shes worth

The food was good but the prices are very expensive I thought. For a bite and I mean a bite of brownie it was near $4.00! And on the menu it said " a bite" so it wasn't a lie! But for 3 people it was $93 , that's $13 & $15 for hamburgers and $3.49 a glass of tea.

Was great First time I've been in there in 20 years.

The service and atmosphere are great. The food is a hit or miss. The drinks barely have any alcohol. Paying more for fruit juices than anything else.

Waitress was great and attentive but be careful make sure ur food is hot. I enjoy hot food.

My "medium" rib eye steak was "rare" and grisly.

It was a nice quiet place, great atmosphere and delicious food.

I ate at this location during lunch over the weekend. We were greeted with a smile by all the staff we encountered during our visit. Our server was great and the food was perfect. I ordered the Blackened Salmon(my favorite) with green beans and salad, and a rainbow lemonade. I don't eat out often but when I do it again it will be this Applebee's.

our waitress a young man could had his hair pulled back! There were 4 young ladies waitress that was passing a infant baby around holding it while they were WORKING taken orders, our food was not hot and fresh

Visited on Valentine's Day. I had a very good steak. My husband had the salmon. Enjoyed the food.

Went in for Valentine’s on a date with my girlfriend, not to busy which i like personally. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and immediately brought to a table, our server Zachery B was amazing, super friendly, helpful. Food was top notch. I’ve been to other Applebees and the chicken or pasta be cold, or you wait a long time to receive your food, but it felt like we ordered and maybe 10 minutes after boom and our food was literally steaming. Great Staff, Great Food, 10/10

Wow, I have to say that the service at the bar was absolutely top-notch! Not only were the drinks superb, but the bartender was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

My husband and I went this past Friday night for dinner. It did not appear particularly busy as there were quite a few empty tables. We waited at the door for about five minutes until a staff member told us there were only 3 servers for the entire restaurant and there were three parties ahead of us on the waitlist. We were willing to wait the 10-15 minutes the employee told us. There was a lot of confusing regarding the waitlist. We had an additional employee ask us if we were on the waitlist and just general deer in the head light looks from staff at the door. Approximately 10 minutes later our name was called and we were led to a table that had a dirty top. Crayons, napkins, food crumbs and other items were on both benches of the booth and the floor under the table. We awkwardly waited while hostess got a wet rag and wiped the trash to the floor. She attempted to dry the seats with a napkin but none the less we were left with damp seats and trash under our feet. Our server arrived quickly to check in and say she would be right back to get our drink order. She did return within a couple minutes and took our drink and appetizer order. 15 minutes later our appetizer of mozzarella sticks arrived but our drinks had not. The person delivering our appetizer questioned this to which our drinks showed up a couple minutes later. We declined to order dinner and had to flag down our server to close our check. incredibly disappointed.

This Applebee's is very clean and has some great staff. Everyone from the host at the door, servers and bartenders, and managers are always friendly. Everytime my son comes home on break from school it is the first place he wants to go eat. He loves the Bourbon Steak!!

We love Applebee's! The food is always so good and we had the nicest waiter this last time. I took my nieces here last week they loved it too! Prices are reasonable 4 entrées with appitzer, desert for 2 and soda was only 84.00 !

"20-30 minute wait" an hour and 20 mins later and we had to sit separately because they didn't know where to put us?? You had an hour and 20 mins to figure that out didn't you?

We went for my son in laws birthday. We had a large party, 14 people, we were willing to wait the 30 minutes the manager originally told us. After we waiting an hour we finally got seated. They took our drink orders right away but we waited a while for them. Food took an exceptionally long time to come out and that was only 11 of the 14 meals. Make a long story short, one of the meals was wrong. Waitress very apologetic and quickly rectified the issue. Manager never apologized, acted as if I was inconveniencing her by saying something. I work customer service in the hospitality industry and I know it's hard, demanding and some days just down wrong to smile. But ownership, apologies, and making your customers feel important can go along way. 3 hours later we finally were leaving.

(Full)Rack of ribs was smaller than I have received in past. Fries bit cold, cole slaw bit bland. Staff was nice. Slow night so not much excitement.

Ordered, To Go, the Crispy Asian chicken sandwich. I was expecting a decent sandwich, but for 15.99 without fries I was feeling a bit skeptical. Man did they deliver! 15 minute drive home and it was still nice and warm. Sauced to the max, and the slaw was a really nice touch! I'm already telling my friends and family about it. Thanks!

If you’re going to go to Applebee’s, do not order broccoli, your order will look like you are ordering for a four year old because the serving size is not big enough to feed a four year old and thought there was only four small pieces in a bowl I go to Applebee’s a lot but after that episode, I will not go back. In fact, I thought about going and buying a big bag of broccoli and take it over to them and tell them make sure they serve the next person proper amount of food and when I got my bill, it was like I paid it on my leg for broccoli and a hamburger , so if you’re hungry, don’t go to the Waynesboro Applebee’s

Veterans Day 11-11-23....my daughter was in 9.5 years...each year we celebrate Veterans Day with her...she chose Applebee's this year. Food was delicious 😋!!! The poor server had too many tables. I believe I counted 12...she tried! She really did...I blame management and left a very nice tip to compensate.

Banae was a excellent server they were out of quesadilia that day tho and that was sad but we understood it wasn't a total deal breaker we will return to the Waynesboro location for sure and request the same server as well 😊

Chicken in ceasar salad tasted like plastic, it was bad, I think it was canned chicken or pressed chicken. Not good I did not eat it.

The Bourbon Street burger was very salty and a bit underdone when I asked for well done

My ribs were cold. A manager brought me out a fresh rack but didn't he give me a comp or seemed to really care. He seemed as if I was inconveniencing him. The lady across from me even received cold ribs. Not happy with this place

We had a great meal with fast friendly service. Our server Bennae worked acceptionly hard to make our time there the best.

Food was good. Despite being only the 5th or so table and 430 pm. Service was slow and staff was inattentive. We were near the host stand and often got to hear the staff gossip and watch them on their phones.

We enjoyed our meal until it got a little aggravating watching one person named Tori (I asked her name) working like crazy while everyone else stood around and talked. We even heard Tori ask the group to help her do something and they turned around and walked to the other side of the restaurant. I understand that waitress don't get paid much hourly, but one person was training and could have made a effort to help.

Food is good! $6 apps from 3-6 pm you can't beat that! Boneless wings ate really good. $3 shots as well many specials! I go there every week

We went to Applebee's for the first time. The server Lisa was so kind, helpful and smiling. Service was fast and food was delicious. We will definitely go again.

After 10-15 min server finally showed up and took our order. After about 30-40 min. We still hadn't gotten our food. Place was almost empty, not busy at all. Asked for manager, and she only made excuses. Never seen our server. We got the food to go.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I live here I know The food never comes to the table hot always cold I thought maybe if I come different times that the food would be good and hot but nope still cold and not good. Table and glasses dirty. they microwave their food if it’s not hot . not clean Applebees just need to close forever !!

Got the bacon chicken ranch, wasn't that good... and I love chicken. The staff was very polite, and the service was pretty good for a group of 17

The food was good, the service was slow and the staff seemed confused. It's a family bistro style restaurant.

I ordered the quesadilla with no chicken, which I've done before there but this time they were terrible. They were served cold and very little cheese. I sent them back and they came back under cooked and mostly pico salsa.

Nothing better than having a great Burger at 10 o'clock at night. Oh, and not to forget the Cocktail

I placed an order inside instead of calling ahead. Took them a little while before they noticed me waiting and it did not like real busy. But friendly and fast. Only took about 10mts and I order was ready.

Service average waitress not trained well on system. We got a total bill vs itemized. Who does that? Not like we ordered 3 coffees and it was $10. For a $92.00 bill you should be able to what you are charged for.

So the lady we had for our order didn't do a great job .had to get another waiter to get us a refill drink. Not busy at all steak was full cooked and she just sat it down my plate down didn't stick around and see how my steak was .just left .

Service was awful, and food was disgusting. Seemed like the booth i was sitting in had some sort of sticky substance all over it and someone’s dirty crocs were on the floor under the table. Most of the waitresses were nice except for Jackie which was ours she was rude and seemed like she hated her job, we had to ask other waitresses multiple times for refills because she only came back to bring the bill. We also never got our appetizers and manager was hesitant to take them off the bill. Applebees used to be one of my favorite restaurants but it’s gone downhill in the past year to where i won’t be returning.

We were there last night for the first time in years! I have to say our waitress was great and our food was great. Ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken and it was really good! No complaints here!

DONT COME HERE. The food is terrible I don’t understand how their not shut down yet. I ordered FOUR CHEESE MAC & CHEESE WITH HONEY PEPPER CHICKEN TENDERS. 1st it took forever for them to come out. 2nd some of my noodles were over cooked and they tasted like NOTHING. the broccoli tastes like they grab straight out of the fridge and throw it on ur plate. Just trust my word. DO NOT GO!!!

I ordered Uber eats and I got blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was dry for 2200 I could have made it better myself

Our waiter Zach was sweet and very kind. Sadly but the food wasn’t the best I’ve had at an Applebees. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it wasn’t fantastic! The buffalo wings were good but had way too much vinegar in the sauce and it unfortunately overwhelmed the flavor of the buffalo. The lemonade also isn’t the best. Other than that, it was good!

Great service, the food itself was a mixture the honey bbq boneless wings were excellent the burger was acceptable but not anything to shout about.

Prompt service. Good amount of food. Hot, fully cooked, good tasting food. We were from out of town and by far beat our Applebee’s back home 1000x over from the time you walk in. Only thing I could say as a con is could use an updating from exterior to interior especially in the bathrooms. The waitress was very friendly too.

Ashton was a fabulous server. She certainly made us feel welcome. She was attentive and not invasive. Chicken wonton tacos still reign supreme. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Waited really long time to be seated, waited a really long time to be seen by waitress after being seated. Which we never saw waitress. They were not busy, but understaffed. Close restaurant if you can staff. If you need staff maybe pay what servers and staff want, don't screw over the customer, corporate greed in action.

Ordered online. They gave me the wrong order and then chased me out into the parking lot. Finally got my order only to find they missed two sides of broccoli.

My wife's food came out cold the only reason mine was hot was because it was made wrong and I sent it back.

Wait forever food is not good. Service was awful and people they just look at you and talk about you behind your back not a good place to go.

Prices are so high and proportions are small. The food is great. Service not up to par. The servers are not trained well. Especially the bartender not a clue without the drink manual . And still don't get it right.
