Yeah this used to be my go to place for pizza etc for the kids, but today was HORRIBLE. Ordered off the app, asked for light cheese and extra sauce since our family is lactose intolerant.. got home and the pizza had barely any sauce and like triple cheese. Called to get a replacement, the manager KAITLYN was rude on the phone and in person to my elderly mother. We had been there TWICE in one day due to them messing up and it's a 35 minute round trip for us to get there and back. And when she got back for the second time with the replacement pizza, it looks like it has been shaken up and spit on and there's still barely any sauce. TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Health and safety issues. Used bandaid found in food ordered on 7/10/24. Obviously no finger cots being used or blue (high visibility) bandaids being used in this kitchen. No soap at handwriting station at last health department inspection. Steer clear if you value your health at all.

Tried to ask a question about delivery I was finished was hung up on say won't deliver to feather stone but have seen deliver driver here sooooo

On Sunday 4/21/2024 made a on line order waited till time to pickup my order told it would be 10 move minutes or so. I waited 10 move minutes. Anyway never got pizza young man making the pizza got mouthy said he couldn't do any better and if I could to do so never go to this papa John's go to Harrisonburg pizza comes out fast people are friendly

I ordered 2 pizzas from there and it took over a hour and more to get to my house which is only 10 mins from the store when I tryed to call today about what was taking so long the woman was sooooooo mean and rude DONT ORDER FROM HERE they will mess up your order a lot. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy here to punish him that way you would starve before you get your food

Poor customer service. I was not happy with the call center with all the questions they ask. When I went in to pick up our pizza I was going to lodge a complaint. The young boy behind the counter gave me a cussing and told me to get out and never come back, and he concluded by telling me to get the f--- out! I never got to say what I wanted to express to him. I do not recommend getting a pizza from PaPa John's in Waynesboro, VA. Dominos would be the better choice.

Ordered a pizza and took 2 hours to get to my place and the pizza store is only a mile away never getting from here again.

Called in an order for a pizza and the call center kept trying to sell me other stuff. Kept telling them I only wanted the pizza I ordered. So, we go to pick up our pizza and I wanted to lodge a complaint against the call center. I started off saying “I do not appreciate all the questions “ and that is all the further I got. The boy that was waiting on me went off cussing me. I was told to get the hell out and never come back, he accused me of being disrespectful but yet he was cussing me, he threatened to call the police on me because supposedly I was being disrespectful, then he concluded telling me to get the f- - - out! I have never been treated that way and it did stun me. My advice is to steer clear of PaPa John’s in Waynesboro, VA. It is not worth going in there.

Parmasean garlic wings were blah. Hardly any sauce on them. Calzone stuft crust pizza was good.

BEWARE! READ ALL BAD REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!! Someone told me not to order from this place and I wish I had listen to that person. Call center is a joke and did not take my order correctly. I also advised them not to have my order delivered by Door Dash because past bad experience's with Door Dash. Call center said delivery would be by a Papa Johns delivery driver. Delivery time was 15 to 30 min. Food was delivered at 55 min and it was ice cold no warmth to the box at all. (Driver did not bring the food in an insulated bag) and as far as I know my food could have been laying on some old shoes or anything for that matter. I have seen these delivery vehicles and its a shame to say you dont know what your food had been exposed too. SO, then I told the driver to take it back and he said he could not since he was a Door Dash Driver. Again, as I said before I told the call center that if they did not have Papa John Drivers then I did not want to place the order. I called the Manager and yes I was upset over this delivery issue but not only the delivery but one of the items had peppers and my order stated NO PEPPERS'!! I told her I wanted a refund for cold food and wrong item, she ask why was it wrong. Now this time I was mad and frustrated. She stated she was going to refund the purchase. I did not believe it so I gathered the order and went to the N Poplar address. I walked in very calm handed the so call manager the food and told her to refund my CRD. She was on the phone for 20 min and I ask her did she refund the order and why was it taking so long. Her reply was she had to go thru Door Dash to refund the order since she was the one that sent my order to Door Dash. I ask for a refund confirmation number and she wrote it on a napkin and then then walked away to get printer paper and proceeded to write it on that paper. Next day I called Door Dash to see if the order was actully refunded and it was NOT! Door Dash calls Papa Johns and the man that took the call said he did not see where it refunded but he would refund it now. I ask what was going on since the woman that called herself the store manager said she refunded it last night why he was not able to see that refunded transaction he got mad and hung up. SO BE ADVISED AFTER SEEING HOW THIS PAPA JOHNS OPERATES I WOULD ADVOID THEM AT ALL COST! AND AFTER SEEING THE INSIDE OF THIS PAPA JOHNS LOCATION YOU ARE TAKING A REAL CHANCE. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND WILL BE CONTACTING THE FTC AND MAYBE THE HEALTH DEPT.

Kind of hit or miss. Some pies are good. Last week not so much.

Great 2 person team taking care of our order. Going above and beyond for the kids at Kate Collins! Coming in at 8am to start the order for us and everyone finishing at lunch. You all are awesome. Thanks Katie! Wish we could've fed the entire school. All the kids deserve it. Papa Johns Rules

Very fast and the staff has always been nice

It’s Papa’s!!! What can anyone say? It’s Papa Johns. Unless the staff is terrible, which they’re not, the pizza is always good. Truth is, I don’t even think I ate the there other day. Probably got me when I went to the Vape Shop😂😂😂. Buuttt, I have eaten before and it’s great as always. Go by and grab a pie. For real for real🍀

Pizza was nice nice and warm for pick up. People working there are nice. The outside parking and area is a little off the beaten path in my opinion. It's definitely a pick up the pizza and eat at a better scenic location.

Recently ordered there for delivery. Paying with cash. Order was an hour late so I called. Employee got rude with me after her story of why order was cancelled. I was hung up on after I raised my voice a bit (never cursed). I called back and spoke to the manager. Was told there were no drivers and my address number didn't exist for door dash (lie. I use door dash here and cash can't be used for door dash). Was hung up on again. I was a shift lead at a Papa John's. If there are no drivers, you turn off delivery or the manager takes the order. Will not order there again

Awesome team players running this location with precision and consistency!! Definitely recommend for their delivery through Doordash !! Much hotter items & no mention if you only tip 1 or 20.

Always very fast and delicious. Thought it was funny when I order a large pep with anchovies only to get the anchovies brought to me in the can and not on the pizza. I do prefer them on the pizza. Perhaps they were having a bad . LOL

Mysteriously cancelled delivery order. Called the Waynesboro store, and was told they had no drivers. They said they called my phone, but it was some business number (Complete BS). Further, when I worked there, if we had no drivers, the manager would take orders. This is the second (And ABSOLUTELY last) problem I've had with this location.

Got the new melt (meat lovers). Weeeellllll, I think whoever made it, is either a vegetarian or don't know what it means when u say "MEAT LOVERS"!!! HARDLY any meat or cheese, then u get to the bottom, JUST CRUST!!! NO SAUCE, NOTHING!!!

Worst Papa Johns EVER!!! Orders take over 1 1/2 hours. Pizza doesn't taste like other Papa John's I've had. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.

I recently choose Papa John's in Waynesboro, VA to have dinner. The team work I witnessed while placing my order and picking up my order was on point, everyone working and working together in a good atmosphere. The pizza was very good, I'll attempt, I had been eating my pizzas across the street due the $ and offers. I am glad I choose to give Papa John's a shot. The ingredients makes a world of difference, very well made, best pizza I've had in a while. The customer service was top notch and the pizza was the same, please take my advice and give them a shot for your next meal, I promise you will enjoy and be back for more.

Normally this place is spot on. Today Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving it seems everyone is eating pizza. I had to wait additional 37 minutes after I got there to pickup. All in all this place is great.

So we decide to order pizza on 1.1.2020 online. I chose the location and placed the order. I was waiting for a confirmation email which I never got. My wife called and was on hold for 10 minutes, i called and hung up after 5 minutes. We arrived to pick up our order to find 3 of the hardest working guys over their heads in printer receipts fulfilling the orders of i am sure hundreds of orders. To say they were busy was an understatement. But they had smiles, they were polite, they were apologetic for the delays. We figured that even if the order was wrong we would not complain because of how hard they were working. The did not deserve problem customers. I was super pleased to see our order was perfect. Hot delicious food served with plates and napkins. I wish i had their names because these 3 deserve what ever honors you provide. I am certain they are not compensated to a major that supersedes the wonderful service they provided. 5 stars all around to the Papa John's on North Poplar st in Waynesboro VA Thank you

I order from this place normally, and every time i order is a 90-120. However the driver is extremely kind and honestly redeems the whole expierence for me. Would be 4 star but since the wait is so long the pizza is a bit cold:/
