Arky's views are breathtaking The hosts Richard and Anna are delightful I was excited to try a traditional Chinese breakfast which did not disappoint I hope to be back someday Thank you!

Just across the sandy stretch, a vibrant community of sea lions, pelicans, and cormorants thrives. This place is a true gem for those seeking a serene escape paired with remarkable animal encounters.

A gem along the California Pacific coast, Arky’s BnB. A homemade Chinese breakfast with the best dumplings ever and more, plants that look like aliens, little sea lion heads bopping up and down in the shallow water, a putting green, the sweetest owners - nothing fancy, quiet, like staying in your great aunt’s old bay house. Bonus: My grandmother used to “tat” as well. Ana gave me some of hers as a lovely gift. #oneplanetoneyear continues …

Wow.Great B&B,ocean view with lots of seals,in the B&B is a pool billard,table tennis,bar and even a bowling alley! We sat on the terrasse till sundown,enjoying the sound of the Pacific.The chinese breakfast was a delicious new experience.The hosts Richard and Ana were very helpful and friendly.If you are on a westcoast roadtrip you should stay here.

Amazing stay for my wife and I! We stayed in the master room with a view of the ocean. The whole place was so relaxing/calm and luxurious. We felt very welcomed by the hosts who are incredibly kind! The breakfast was delicious and with a great view of the river/ocean as we ate was a great way to start the day! Can't recommend this place enough for a quiet peaceful vacation. We'll definitely be back!

house? was fine but the water hammering & pressure pump noise was annoying/ thermostat was locked out so house got up to 79 !

We loved our stay (we were in the separate house)! Walked right down to the water to collect rocks. I could watch the seals playing in the Smith River from our house! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts left us yummy treats (Chinese food, homemade) in the freezer and lots of snacks, which was awesome as we were hungrier than we thought and it's about 20 minutes to Crescent City. They had HBO, Netflix and Amazon prime so we had plenty of options when it got dark. The host was easy to contact and prompt in his responses. The grounds are well kept as well. Definitely worth paying a bit more for this unique experience! We'll be back!

This was such a nice stay!! Very clean, atmosphere. Everything you needed. Richard is very kind and helpful! Beautiful views of ocean and wildlife was a plus! Sea lions and otters were so fun to watch! Would highly reccomend staying here! 😀

We came here for my 35th birthday! What a wonderful experience we had. The property and hospitality was perfect. The serenity of being right on the Smith River meeting the Pacific Ocean was so neat. Starting our day with a traditional Chinese breakfast was such a delight. Thank you for sharing your home.

I love this place! It's so beautiful and clean. The hosts are extremely nice and make a delicious breakfast! Perfect place to stay and relax. I got the master suite and I was pleasantly surprised at all the space and amenities. I will be back!

This is a hidden gem. Booking sight unseen is always a little nerve racking but Arky's is a real prize. The house is beautiful, well kept and very spacious. There are extremely nice common areas for guests to use, with a fridge and microwave available. Our room is huge, bathroom is very large with toiletries. Don't let the street fool you. Driving in leaves you wondering but the house is a great surprise. Oh... And waterfront!!! Don't hesitate if you're looking for a place to stay in this area.

Absolutely loved our stay at Arky's! The view is amazing and the place is very tidy. The hosts are very kind. They prepare a wonderful breakfast for the guests and make the stay very calm. They do their best to accommodate different dietary needs and made a very nice vegan breakfast for me. I would absolutely stay here again!

We didn't know what to expect when entering Arky's home. Richard and Ana were awesome hosts who catered to every need. The room was complete with a large bathroom and shower (great water pressure), comfy bed, makeup mirror and table for the wife, and beautiful view of their garden. Breakfast was an amazing assortment of Chinese rice, salad, cake (both Chinese and American) and coffee. The view of the beach while eating was peaceful and calming. This place is way better than any other B&B we have experienced and for the money is completely worth it. We would definitely be back if we drive the 101 again.

Arky's Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful get away on the California coast. The owners are very sweet and have a strict attention to detail. Lovely home, very kind hosts with lots of amenities, and the traditional Chinese breakfast was delicious.

Pure comfort on the coast. Incredibly wonderful hosts who cooked an amazing Chinese breakfast and really made our time there truly memorable. I can't recommend this place enough. Surprisingly huge house with a pool table and so much space that you really feel like it's your own private oasis. Beach access is 40 feet away and there are a ton of seals that pop their heads out of the water to say hi. Thanks again Richard and Ana for the wonderful experience.

Great b & b ln a fabulous location on the North Coast

Hi there! Bill Merchant and I had the great pleasure of staying one night at this delightful B&B. We rested so well this night listening to the ocean. Ana and Richard are the kindest hosts, the breakfast was amazing!! The views of the ocean, and their home were absolutely beautiful!! We highly recommend this sweet place if you are traveling through.

We stayed at the house next to the main house and what a view!!! It was absolutely beautiful...no need to go anywhere else to relax, just step outside the back door and enjoy the view. The house was very clean and kitchen was equipped with all the essentials...perfect for our 3 nights stay. It was quiet and very peaceful. Richard and Ana (hosts) made great breakfast, thank you! We definitely plan on returning next year.

Very nice place! Beautiful views of the sea. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The gardens are wonderful, too! Fresh fruits and vegetables are available for us to pick up at any time. The best B&B ever! Would recommend to friends.
