One of the best burritos I’ve ever had. EDIT (several months later)- No, I was wrong. This is the best burrito I’ve ever had, specifically their barbacoa, with the house habanero salsa. Also probably the friendliest service. But the food is so good I’d probably still be here if they were mean.

I have never felt the need to leave a google review but this restaurant deserves all the applause. We ordered beef tacos, a Barbacoa burrito, and loaded steak fries. The barbacoa burrito was the best burrito I have ever tried. Then the customer service was phenomenal! The owner had one of the best personalities I have experienced in a restaurant business. This is THE BEST Mexican restaurant in the city by a mile. Definitely a hidden gem that needs more recognition.

I’ve heard great things about the food here from my parents and I was not disappointed!! The barbacoa tacos were amazing and if you are brave the habanero salsa is flavorful and packed with a punch! Everyone here was friendly as well. Would definitely come back!!

Super disappointed. I had placed an order for a steak burrito for pick up. They called me about 25 minutes after saying it was ready. I said that I was on my way. I got there in 20 minutes after that and they said they gave it away. I will never order again. Just unacceptable.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The food here is made with love and soul. Great prices for portion and small selections that focuses on amazing taste. Make your way here, you won't regret it.

Got 6 tacos (pastor y carne asada) and they’re all pretty tasty - best I’ve had on this side of the river - the salsa tastes like it has pineapple in it so just a heads up if you have a pineapple allergy - it is super tasty tho.

The time we have in the United States we had not eaten as delicious as we did in this place such a delicious flavor I fully recommend it if we return to New Orleans I will definitely eat there again... the service is very friendly the atmosphere is like to be in a little corner of Mexico ☺️❤️ thank you for everything!!!

Passing through New Orleans, and wanting some good street carne asada tacos, I stopped in. I was not disappointed. Best street tacos I've had outside of southern California. The habanero hot sauce is made fresh on site, and is delicious and spicy. The carne asada was cooked fresh with our order. Friendly people, too.

Had a asada / carnitas burrito. Cooked to perfection, big and tasty. Home made salsa was tasty and spicy. Great service and management was very nice.

The front desk lady was phenomenal upon greeting us(the owner) and talking us threw the menu since it was our first time. The food is also great. Got 2 different kinds of Casadias, a torta, 2 tacos, and a caramel churro. All of it was amazing. The green sauce is where it's at.

Food was absolutely delicious. They were short staffed but Carlos took amazing care of us. They should keep an eye on what’s being played on tv though, some of it was not family friendly.

Legit street tacos. Tried a few different tacos today and each one was very flavorful. Barbacoa, carnitas, chorizo, steak and pastor. Each taco was unique. I would definitely come back and try a few more items from the menu. Note- the habanero salsa was very spicy. (Yellow bottle). But all three salsas were a great addition to the tacos.

Friendly people, very clean and sanitized place. Meat and little too dry but decent food. Beans were tasting a bit passed.

Hands down the BEST Mexican food experience our family has ever had! The ladies who took care of us were extremely friendly and accommodating, took time to explain the menu to us and make recommendations. Beyond that, the food was absolutely outstanding. The meats and veggies were fresh and the flavors were bountiful. This place is severely unassuming but worth the trip to the outskirts of town. Do yourself a favor and make your way to Taqueria 2 Brothers—you’ll thank me later.

I read good reviews so I thought id give it a try. Little place in a strip mall. Maybe 4 tables and a counter for dining in. Friendly, smiley staff. THE FOOD: I ordered a guacamole and 4 tacos with various meats. The guacamole was REALLY good. Not shy about using Cilantro, a little jalapeno,  really delicious! Barbacoa, carnitas and birría tacos were just fantastic and had a little au ju on the side which added so much flavor. A little out of the way, but worth it!

The tacos are very good, I recommend them, I give them a 100, the atmosphere is really cozy and the warmth is good.

I come from Texas and I have no regrets delicious food and excellent service 100% recommended

The Westbank is already home to some amazing Mexican food but this place goes above and beyond in terms of quality and service. The tacos are amazing. I’ve tried almost all of their meats and they’re all very flavorful and made with love. Will be back many, many times.

A small family business with excellent, authentic food! Best burrito I ever ate and the tacos were excellent, too. We didn't try the habanero salsa (we're wimps) but the other two salsas were top notch. The service was, too. We talked with the owner of the restaurant, and she was most gracious and friendly. We'll be back the next time we're in NOLA.

The food is delicious and the owner is very attentive and she loves what she does. I ordered one of everything on the menu. Everything was delicious and Authentic. The place is big enough to seat maybe 12 people and has a Floating bar to eat off of as well. Go and give it a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you very much for the great experience!

The birria tacos are amazing. I have come here twice in one week (guilty)... And I don't eat out that much in general. I love the art in this place and the owners are wonderful. I am so glad this family business is here and I hope they stay.

If you’re looking for true authentic Mexican food, I highly HIGHLY recommend Taqueria 2 brothers!!! AMAZING food and AMAZING service. Ms. Angelica was so kind and explained the menu to us. She made sure we were taken care of at all times and made us feel at home. The atmosphere feels very cozy and they treat you like family rather than just another customer. The food was very authentic and fresh even down to the chips. You can very much tell everything is made with love, almost reminded me of my grandmas cooking! Thank you ms. Angelica for the great experience! We will be back for sure

The Birria Taco were just ok, but the Au jus was very oily even after I stirred it up. It was also very bland. The guac was good but nothing to get excited about.
