Great food every time. This was my first experience with Indian food a couple of years ago and now I bring people a couple times a month.

Outstanding Indian cuisine! Some of our favorites are patiyala vegetable curry, chicken tikka masala, and chicken korma. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well. Very reasonable prices!

This is one of those hidden gems. A mere hole in the wall but with spectacular food. Not inexpensive but truly delicious. Highly recommend even if you've never eaten Indian food.

I truly don't know how this place doesn't have a line around the block. This is THE best Indian food I've had. Everything was cooked just perfect, nothing was mushy, the chicken wasn't tough or dry. Everything was cooked freshed with REAL herbs and spices (we found part a cinnamon stick in my husband's food 🤣) the garlic naan is to die for. 10/10 will be back soon.

I had never had Indian food before, until a friend moved close to this place and recommended it. We all got some on the way to hang out at his place one time, and since then this has become a go-to place for me at least once a month, sometimes more. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I consider it worth it. They make the food from scratch, so usually the drive there gives them time to complete my order, and it always stays hot on the drive home. The main dish I usually get is the Kadai chicken, but I have tried other dishes as well, and I have not been disappointed once. The couple who run the place are very friendly, as well! I think if someone were to ask me what my favorite restaurant is, I would probably say Aroma. Thank you so much.

The food is absolutely amazing. Everything was full of flavor and fresh. They adjust the spice to your tolerance level as well. The prices were affordable too.

Ordered samosa, palak paneer, laccha kulcha and chole. Samosa had too much garam masala and the shell was undercooked. Palak paneer had a ton of tomatoes and was soooooo oily! Chole also had way too many tomatoes. The chickpeas were slightly undercooked. Rice was dry. And both breads were tiny! Usually at Moon i eat at most 1/3-1/2 naan. I finished this naan. It was thick and instead of minced garlic it had garlic butter. Laccha kulcha did not look or taste good. I am surprised at all the positive reviews. I resisted trying this for so long but then was very hungry and saw all the 5 star reviews so decided to try it. Take the extra 15 mins and drive to Moon on Barrett Parkway instead.

Food is excellent! Vande was excellent and gave great service the food is fresh hot and full of great flavor! I can't say enough definitely try this place if you are considering!

Have to drop to 4 star. On 3/27 at 12:45PM I arrive for lunch and it's closed for no reason. You can't just randomly close without warning. Best Indian Food I've had in a very long time. I tried the lunch special Paneer Tikka Masala with rice, naan, and a fried veggie pocket. I asked for onions in the gravy and spice level got. The owner/chef was back there making everything FROM SCRATCH! The dish came out DELICIOUS! Very flavorful and fresh tasting. Price was very reasonable too, it came to $11.65 cash after extortion (tax). This is a no-frills joint that serves food cafeteria style/order yourself. I've said it many times, INDIAN CULTURE DOES NOT TIP, I asked Indian natives myself. I don't dock them stars on this, I just don't tip. Service is non-existent sometimes, but it's all about the flavor and taste. I will be back ALL THE TIME! This place had food quality that was off the charts good!

1st time ordering. All three of us liked the food we ordered for takeout. One person is vegetarian, one person needed gluten free and the third eats whatever. All the dishes were tasty and there was enough food. We ordered Mushroom Jalfrezi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo and Paneer Fritters. If your looking for fritters that are fried and crunchy then these will not satisfy. They were cubes of Paneer with a soft dough coating, I will pass on them next time. The sauces that were included with the order were tasty.

I ordered take out from here for the first time and it was delicious!! So much flavor and perfect melding of spices and sauce. It is spicy so be warned. I’m guessing you can ask for it milder which I will do next time. We ordered two vegetable dishes (cauliflower and eggplant) and chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. All of it was amazing!

Food was more authentic tasting than any indian restaurant food I have recently eaten. A welcome relief from the heavy cream based or insanely hot spices used by most indian restaurants. Definitely worth a try if you are craving some north indian cuisine.

This Bistro is one of those “hole in the wall” no frills restaurants that has the best food you’ve ever tasted. We LOVE Indian food and this place is worth the trip! It should be packed all the time, it’s that good.

Confession. I don't like Indian food. I mean I used to not like Indian food thanks to Aroma Bistro. I've been dabbling with different Indian establishments in the area but Aroma is, hands down, my fave. Generous portions, appropriate heat levels, tender proteins (butter chicken - so good!), & well-balanced spice. The food is vibrant & fresh & absolutely delicious. Don't miss out on the Honey Gobi & I wish I could buy the Mint Chutney by the gallon. I almost forgot! Aroma is owned by the sweetest couple. Next time instead of takeout, we plan to dine in!

The best Indian food in town! Being raised in Malaysia, Indian food was a daily thing. Owners personally cook these meals for you. They have a great story. We eat here weekly and keep leftovers for the week. It may look like a hole in the wall but the food is excellent!

I'm glad that some people love the food here. I found it generally just ok. I got the Butter Chicken, a Garlic Naan, and 1 of the Samosas. The butter chicken wasn't too bad. Decent flavor in the sauce, but the rice unless mixed in was fairly bland. The garlic naan was large, but was very greasy and did not contain a lot of extra flavor. The samosa tragically was essentially inedible. It was very much burned in the frier and as such the dough was saturated with grease. I pried it open and tasted the inside but it wasn't really tasty. Not sure if the frying just leaked too much into the interior or if that's the standard flavor. For the price (delivered through GubHub so prices are usually higher than PU or in restaurant dining), I don't know that I'd order again. Those 3 items for myself was $28, so eating with a family would be pretty high.

It’s not fancy but the chicken korma was killer! I wish I lived in the area. When back in Atlanta I will definitely return. The lady behind the counter was particularly nice.

We have always been happy with all of the food we have ordered from here. It was always tasty and delicious.

FINALLY my wife and I found our Indian food spot in our area!! I am so happy right now I can't see straight. The fact that I can't see straight could be because of the level of heat I ordered. Ooowee!!! (We will get to that in a minute) First of all RUN to this place. I don't say that on all of my reviews. If I do, JUST TRUST ME! This is a well kept secret. I say that because you can't see it well from the road and you just have to know it's there. The only way we found it was because of Yelp. And the reviews. There is a theme to all of the good reviews that propelled me to come here. This is Punjabi North Indian Cuisine at it's best I'd argue versus anywhere in Atlanta. When you come in, the heavenly smells of spice hits you even before you open the door. The smells become even more heavenly when you step inside. We were greeted by the owners Anoop and Vandi I believe who were absolutely lovely. When I try an Indian restaurant for the first time, I always go for the classics. Tonight was chicken Korma and chicken Vindaloo. You have your choice of heat. If you say hot you get American hot or Indian hot. I said "light me up", so Indian hot it was! There are now three ways I know it's HOT! 1) when my nose runs like a faucet, 2) when I start burping and now 3) when the chef/ owner Anoop pokes his head out and says "this is how hot I like it!" Wow! Can he cook! "ANOOP HOT!" This food was absolutely amazing!! So much flavor which is the hallmark of Indian cuisine. I tasted every ounce of pride. I am never more happy than when I'm in a place that's 100% about the food. I don't like fussy or pretentious. Aroma is not fancy. It doesn't need to be. The flavor of their food took me to the moon tonight and it speaks for itself. I will be talking about this place for days! On my next visit, I plan to ask Anoop to just order for me. I know he will knock my socks off. RUN to this restaurant and order it "Anoop Hot" Trust me!

We recently catered a house party with Aroma. The food was all delicious and prepared right on time. Our guests remarked on the great quality of food. Chef Anoop was very helpful in selecting an appropriate menu and spice level. Best part was that we had enough for leftovers!

Food quality and taste was excellent. If you are a Naan lover, just keep in mind that their size runs comparatively on smaller size from other Indian restaurants. Definitely recommend it, but order some extra naans here.

Ive been to some of the well known and hole-in-the-wall places in the Atlanta area and this restaraunt is a great spot for indian food. Chefs with genuine skill and no frills attitude so your money goes towards the food quality. Fyi, I am indian myself and grew up eating indian food

Tried this place for the first time last month; ordered it in for my sister's birthday. It was so delicious and they provide a lot of food. Even my grandparents, who are about as adventurous as a loaf of Wonder Bread and find ketchup spicy, enjoyed the food!!

We ordered dhaba paneer yesterday. It was full of bad oil and overly spiced. Spices are terribly hitting to stomach. No authentic taste as they claim. Other curries might be good but dont ever order this one. Only take out is their business. They didnt have spoon or water to offer to a customer. I do Not recommend. I had high expectations as their reviews shows good rating.

Wow! Just Wow! We’ve ordered 3 times in the last 2 weeks because we want to try more. Everything we have had is spectacular. The flavors, spices, and quality are perfect! Great job, and thank you for being a quality place for us to order to-go items in Woodstock.

I swear I’m here 1 time a week minimum. Food is fantastic. My go to is the butter chicken it’s 10/10 I love how’s it’s not put through a strainer so you still get some good texture, unlike most other places. The food is always so fresh and I definitely will be back soon 😀

This is easily the #1 Indian place anywhere around. When the Indian customer in line behind you tells you that when his mother is in town FROM INDIA, he orders Aroma Indian Bistro. You're in the right place!

If possible, I'd want to rate half star. There are several causes. The flavor and quality of food are quite poor. The place is sticky, Smell is horrible. I ordered chilli paneer, but the flavor is too strange for me to be able to compare it to chilli paneer. When I said that it was bad, he asked if I was a chef, is this how you receive your customer? You don't have to be a chef to review taste. Change your attitude towards customers, keep the area clean, please use room freshner. For your reply :- This is what I was try to getting at, Change your attitude toward customers. They are paying you for the food; they are not receiving it for free.Quit trying to decide what is going on in others personal life. Include this additional time of people-judging in your recipe and work to improve it. Take note of their feedback and strive to make changes when they are paying. Don't treat your consumers like a jerk. I can determine what a badass you are based on all of your one-star responses. You are unfit to operate a food business. Even basic customer respect is beyond your comprehension. You will undoubtedly recognize whose armpit it is when the food inspector comes through this facility. Note reviews are to improve your business not to target it. Generalising a food review by adding small business, targets won't improve your sales. Working on the issue will do.

The owners arent trying to re-invent the game and instead focus on making classics best and they do that well!

We have ordered from this restaurant many times. Called in an order for pickup and was quoted one hour for our food to be ready. We show up just after the one hour window and pay and then are left to sit and wait for over 30 minutes and still food is not ready. We are advised five more minutes - guess what it wasn't ready. After 1 hour 45 minutes I ask for a refund and instead of an apology I am told not to do order from them again. I understand they cook to order but that is no reason to take customers for granted or to treat them poorly. I assume they were giving priority to third party delivery orders there is no other way to explain over 1 hour and 45 minute for 3 common dishes, Naan and fried shrimp app. I can not excuse being rude; I will not order from them ever again as requested and I hope you don't either.

One of the best Indian spots I have ever been to. It looks humble but is mighty. I have tried a variety of items on the menu and would recommend the butter chicken to indian noobs and those who can’t handle spice. I would recommend the chicken roganjosh extra spicy to those who seek out spicy food. I would definitely recommend take out only though- you have to pay for cans of drinks and bottles of water.

I hate to give such a low rating but honestly I was SO not impressed with this place. I really do not understand how other people gave it such a high rating. I love Indian food and have eaten at many places and this was definitely subpar. but most importantly it was not a clean. I know its just the couple working there but they are serving food...🤪 Also the chicken in my Butter Chicken was not cooked enough & was still tough. I asked for a Veggie version (didn't want to make them give me a refund) replacement & it had a ton of oil. The samosas weren't good either. Would NOT recommended unfortunately. 😥

if you're judging Aroma solely on the food, it's hard to beat. I grew up in the UK where Indian food is king. It's difficult finding a restaurant in the US that compares. Aroma is it. Complex flavors with a robust menu. All of the popular classics and plenty of other dishes to explore. Order an hour before you want it, but it's worth the wait.

Wife and I picked a random Indian place on maps and this was it. Everything is made with fresh ingredients as you order. Phenomenal food with fantastic service. 5/5 will be eating here again for sure. I got the lamb vindaloo and my wife got the chicken Tikka masala and we shared the Bombay Chilli potato. We liked our food so much we ordered an extra meal and more potatoes to go for later. Medium heat level is comparable to the hotter sauces at a chain wing place.

This is the best Indian food I have had in a while, and certainly the best option in the area. They offer a perfectly sized menu with a nice sampling of favorites. I appreciate that they don’t shy away from serving up spicy food. It’s was a refreshing break from the watered down, sugar-laden gravies of most lunch buffets. The folks working here clearly take a lot of pride in what they do and it shows in the end product. You can expect a wait, but in our case it was well worth the trip. The food was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavor. Side Note: their business is clearly oriented towards take out, so it’s not the best dine-in experience. Our food was served in plastic containers. It’s not a big deal once you know what to expect, and it certainly didn’t stop us from digging in then and there.

This is the best Indian around- hands down! It doesn't look like much from the outside but who cares? The food is awesome! This is the real deal, authentic Indian cuisine. I dare you to find better in the Atlanta area. From chicken 65 to garlic Nnaan to Tikka Masala, if you can find better Indian food around the Atlanta area, I want to know about it. The owners actually care about the food they serve. Don't walk, run here!

Not bad. The order arrived warm but was spilled and leaking out of the brown bag. Terrible garlic naan.. it seems like they use a small piece of pita bread and throw it in the microwave. The tikka masala had a nice flavor and the portion size was generous. Not my favorite in the area but it was adequate. Would try something else on their menu but not the naan bread ever again.

Aroma is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Louisiana. I’ve tried a lot of other places but the fresh and powerful flavors are unmatched. The service is excellent and they are very friendly. This is a place I have to eat at least once a week. And bonus, they are on UberEats!!!!

Visited this restaurant based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is nothing fancy, and you may prefer takeout if you want ambiance, but we ate in and the food came out piping hot and delicious. The garlic naan was excellent. It was so convenient getting the food in plastic containers so we could easily take home leftovers. The portions are huge. I would prefer silverware or at least a large spoon to be able to easily try other dishes (family style). I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, such a gem tucked away, best husband wife duo, I have been to many Indian restaurant but none had remind me of real Indian food from India taste, being Indian, when you know the real taste Freon India, it’s hard to measure up to that expectation but anup, the chef’s food hits the spot. My husband found this gem on his trip to Georgia last week and he told me about it and today we made the trip to visit this place and I am in love. If you are foodie like us who loves real Punjabi food this is your place, you will not be disappointed.

This was our first visit. The food was fresly cooked and was hot. I got a chicken dish and my wife ordered a paneer dish. Both were spiced as requested and were very tasty. We will come again soon.

I can't even emphasize enough how delicious the food is here. So many complex flavors/spices. I love the Patiyala Veg Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Gobi Masala. I want to try other dishes but these are just so good!!!

Great food and friendly service

We drove a real long way to pick up food from this place. Aloo tikki chaat and dhaba chicken were a hit, palak paneer was about average and gobi 65 was a total miss. Price was middle of the road for the quantity (average by Indian restaurant stds) and quality of ingredients (very good). Definitely a place we'd add to our rotation had it been closer, but not oh-so-good enough for us to drive all the way again. Might still pick up if we are in that area to try other items on the menu.

Hands down the best authentic Punjabi Food in the entire United States. Reminds me of Panjabi Dhaba/ truck stop in india. Great service. Great food. Only area of improvement is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The floor and touch screen Register was little sticky, but the food and tables were clean the best. Ask for Indian spicy if you want spicy authentic Punjabi food from Punjabi Chef.

The most flavorful Indian place I’ve ever tried! Had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, and a side of Garlic Naan. The naan was delicious and came with 3 or 4 bread slices, worth the money. The butter chicken and tikka masala were amazing, extremely flavorful and the chicken and sauce were just great. Asked for medium/regular spice and it was pretty spicy so I’d ask for less spice if you’re sensitive. Also came with huge side of rice which was nice. Big portions, completely worth the price!! Such amazing food. Props to the chef!

Just discovering my love for Indian food, and Aroma is so delicious! It's a no-frills place with big portions. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala lunch special today ($10) and it came with the entree, an appetizer and roti - plenty for 2 lunches! Definitely a new favorite.

The bread was flat and tasted like it came out of a package and was heated up. Be careful if you order medium spicy it’s pretty hot. Floor was sticky in front of the drink counter

Food was freshly made. Very flavorful! The malai kofta was not too sweet like in other restaurants. The paneer and mushroom dishes were both good. The only and biggest drawback was that the food was extremely oily. We literally had to pour oil out of the dishes with a spoon and it still was too much. The garlic naan was also soaked in butter. Much more than anywhere else I’ve eaten. Our table was dirty and some disposable dishes given were also dirty. They promptly replaced the dirty plates. The lady who took our order and served us was pleasant and friendly.

We discovered this place through my daughter. Every time we order- it’s fresh, hot, and absolutely top quality. Love this independent eatery. Please patronize this locally owned family run business. It’s great to see our area begin to have more ethnic options.

Picked up the BEST food yesterday! Everything was fresh and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The vegetarian dish Kadai Paneer (little spicy which I love) and well as the chicken Tikka Masala are excellent! I'd never tried samosas before and these were a treat. Finally, the perfect small sweet ending - Gulab Jamun. Aroma is going to be on our very short list of restaurants for take out!

Most dishes taste the same. Everything, down to potatoes, lamb, cauliflower, peppers, paneer, etc use an almost identical and rather sweet sauce. Sometimes you just want some potatoes with curry leaves, or vegetables, to break up the curry. Nope. Everything is curry here.

My husband and I had a craving for Indian food. We stumbled upon Aroma while perusing Google maps and noticed it was close by. Based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. While I have never been to India before, I feel as though my tastebuds were transported! The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some great Indian food!

I very much enjoyed lunch and will come back soon. The food was fresh and aromatic. Also the best samosa’s I have ever tasted (I never knew they could be this good). My only suggestion is related to the plastic tableware. I know plastic is (sadly) cheaper, but when dining in-house I would not mind spending a few dollars more for a nicer experience. The food quality is really good and nicer tableware will make it an even more enjoyable experience.

The lunch specials are very reasonably priced, and you get a lot with them. The butter chicken and the samosas were delicious.
