Lobster omelette was unbelievable! Specials are always fantastic!

We are staying near Perkins cove and found this breakfast spot on our morning walk. We both loved our breakfast. The service is great and friendly. This is a family run business which is always nice to find. It is a small place with a counter and limited seating. One morning we had to wait, but no more than 10 minutes or so. Overall, a great place for a good breakfast with friendly people. We'll definitely be back!

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the fisherman’s omelet meal, it was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Delightful Maine breakfast nook

We love the Cove Cafe and have always eaten there on our return trips to Maine. Unfortunately, they have a hostess who for some reason was very rude so don't think we will be returning

This is a special little place at the entrance of Perkins Cove. It was a chilly morning and it was so cozy and warm inside. (I could have sat there another hour after we finished our breakfasts.) We both had the Spinach Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I've been there before; it's always a warm and welcoming experience with delicious breakfast foods, including special seafood choices if you're in the mood! Always a good choice for breakfast in Ogunquit.

Every year, when my family visits Ogunquit, we look forward to having breakfast at the Cove Cafe. The food is delicious and there is a lot of it. Service is great, too. I highly recommend this place. It is walkable within Perkins Cove.

Such an incredible, quant cafe in Perkins Cove. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the lobster benedict and blueberry waffle! Would recommend!

We had breakfast 3 times during labour week end and everything was good. The benedict was perfectly cook. I recommend.

Wow what a wonderful breakfast place. They have it all — and they have lobster omelettes! If you are near Perkins Cove make this work for your day. They are open 7-11 and if you don’t come early expect a line. It is worth it. We are going again tomorrow!

This is such a great place for breakfast when you’re in Ogunquit! Terrific New England vibe, and a menu full of the best breakfast foods. My FAVE is the crab cake with scrambled egg and Swiss cheese on an English muffin. 10 outta 10!

Best crab cake I have ever had! French toast with decadent whipped cream and strawberries was fantastic! There’s also a cool video playing on a tv by the kitchen showing how Perkins Cove was made in the 1940s which is a cool touch.

Food is so AMAZING!! My Mediterranean omelet is out of this world.. Everything is fresh. Nothing frozen.

The Eggs Benedict was exceptional. The hollandaise was creamy and the Eggs was poached perfectly. I loved the ham and the tea was so very good. Overall a good breakfast.

Blueberry Belgian waffle? Yes. Yes, you DO want that. Space is a premium in here so there's often a wait, but there's a cute shop across the street to pass the time (and the wait is worth it!)

there was not much space inside.. very small. we also had to wait outside in the poring rain for over 30 minutes.. :( the home fries are not very good which was upsetting. but other wise it was good! just be prepared to wait!! if u don’t get there EXACTLY when it opens at 7.

My family and I arrived early and ate a spread of delicious breakfast on our last day in Maine. Our waitress was very warm & friendly. We had coffee, blueberry French toast, chef speciality omelet (basil, tomatoes & mozzarella cheese) hash, crab cake and eggs on a English breakfast muffin, yogurt and fresh fruits. Small place but the food is definitely worth the wait. It was delicious! My wife had the blueberry French toast and the blueberry sauce was fantastic! Even the brand of coffee is top notch! Service was great too. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Cove Cafe.

Busy that day. Wait was 45min.. had lobster frittata. Eggs were overcooked. Everything else was good.

The attitude was everything. From the moment I walked in until I left it was a great atmosphere. The coffee nice and fresh. The eggs cooked perfectly. The fruit was fresh. The muffin was nice and fresh. I recommend the Cove Cafe in Ogunquit, Maine very highly. I visited on Thursday, June 1, 2023 @7:00 AM. I'll be back.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast while on a road trip in the fall of 2019. It’s been three and a half years and I still think about these blueberry pancakes!

Our second time at Cove Cafe, we left Pennsylvania at midnight to get here just for breakfast. Staff is always friendly, fast service, good food!

Good service and coffee! No Parking. They turned their parking spots into additional outdoor seating, so we had difficulties getting to the place.

Great breakfast, respectable prices, courteous service staff. Knotty pune interior with nautical decor was what we craved in a breakfast nook in Ogunquit. I had corned beef hash and eggs and they were cooked to perfection. She had an two eggs and a fresh fruit bowl that overflowed with fresh fruit. Give this place a try.

Good breakfast but a brunch option with sausages or bacon is missing. The blueberry french toasts are really good, coffee is not included.

Super cute and super delish. There's a setup of tables in a small alley just outside - a perfect place to read a book while drinking your beverage and having a pastry.

Absolutely delicious French Toast with Blueberries. 10/10 would recommend. Visited the Cove Cafe 3x in the span of a couple days because the breakfast is just that good!! Small space, but the service was great. Can’t wait to go back!

Little bit of a wait (to be expected on a Saturday morning), but it was the best breakfast we’ve had on our trip to Ogunquit. Delicious food, perfect atmosphere and very courteous staff!

This was my first time having crab cakes for breakfast, but this definitely won't be last after my experience this morning! Excellent breakfast, everything was freshly cooked and hot. I got the crab cakes with eggs, toast and home fries. The crab cakes were fantastic, they are served with a delicious remoulade/tartar sauce on the side. They have nitro and regular cold brew coffee on tap. The servers were very attentive. I highly recommend this quaint little eatery located right outside of Perkins Cove!

Very quaint cafe overlooking the cove. I got chocolate milk and a lobster Benedict, so good! My wife got the crab cakes and they were even better!!!! I’d go back here any day!!!

A gem of a place in a cozy picturesque setting in Perkins Cove Ogunquit, ME. Waited about 15 minutes and were seated on the side porch with great tree and creek views. Breakfast eggs were perfectly cooked and delivered promptly with good hot tea ( which can be unbelievably hard for many places to handle ) , fresh fruit and a delicious blueberry muffin. Homefries are more roasted potatoes than shredded hashbrowns but tasted good. Staff was attentive and overall very pleasant.

Excellent breakfast! The waffle is especially good, but we've enjoyed everything we've ever gotten, and the staff is always great. We really all year for our Ogunquit vacation and our breakfasts at Cove Cafe!

Given that this seems to be the only breakfast option in Perkins cove you would think they would slack off. But they do not disappoint Make sure to get the blueberry French toast it's amazing.

We wanted to stop for breakfast at Cove cafe on our way home to Boston from vacationing in Kennebunkport but they were really busy. Since it was a rainy day they couldn’t do outdoor dining & inside is tiny. Disappointed because we read great reviews about it. Determined to go back to this cute cafe in charming Perkins Cove, we made the 1 1/2 trip to Ogunquit last weekend & weren’t sorry! Since we got there 15 minutes before closing, it wasn’t busy & we promptly got a table outside. Service was fast & our omelettes were delicious. Loved the well seasoned potatoes with it. We saw someone at the next table ordering a bunch of stuff & next time I’m getting their breakfast sandwiches because they looked so good!

We tried to get breakfast several other places and there was a half hour wait. We happened by the Cove Cafe on our way into Perkins Cove. We were seated in 15 minutes. The food was amazing, service was wonderful. Definitely recommend this little gem

Just a great place with no fuss breakfast! I had the bacon egg sandwich on a bagel and my husband had the omelette of the day. Both were cooked perfectly and exactly what we were looking for from our breakfast.

I got the French toast with strawberries and a side of bacon and it was spectacular! I will say that we didn’t get enough little containers of syrup to start, but when we asked for more they did give us some.

Doing great with what they have. A few tables in the parkings spots some in the bushes just making it work and doing it well. We sat on the side deck all to ourselves. Breakfast was okay but the home fries needed a lot more cooking, it was busy so maybe they couldn’t keep up.

My wife and I used to go here about once a week before we moved away. We miss it. Food and service always great. We always recommend it.

We have been coming here for 18 years and have never had a bad meal. Service is always spot on and friendly.

Cute spot tucked in a corner on the way to Perkins Cove. They have all the traditional breakfast fare you would expect, but in my opinion they do it the best out of the places that I’ve tried for breakfast in the Ogunquit area. It’s very small, so expect to wait a little while especially if you get there a little bit later in the morning. Nevertheless, I’ve never experienced an overly long wait, usually no more than 20 minutes.

This place is an absolute must! Me and my girlfriend visited Ogunquit as part of our vacation through Maine this past summer and we are absolutely glad we paid Cove Cafe a visit. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic! The portions are very filling and the prices are very worth it. We will absolutely be stopping in again the next time I head to Ogunquit!

We ended up here totally by chance, after the restaurant right across from our hotel was closed to serve a tour bus, and were so glad things worked out that way! The hostess was extremely friendly, pouring our coffee as we sat down and giving us ideas for what to do with our day. We took her recommendations and got the blueberry Belgian waffle, corned beef hash (made in-house by the chef) and crabcake Benedict. Everything was so good and obviously homemade! And after spending a week on vacation in various parts of Maine, we thought the prices here were pretty reasonable.

I dream of The Coves for breakfast continuously at home in Kentucky. If I could just bottle the taste and aroma of my favorite home made hash and eggs I would be content Alas, I have to wait for my annual October visit. Instead.

My kids suggested going here. I have walked by this place many times thinking how cute it was. You are handed a rock with a number on it has you stand and wait for a seat. The hostess is a doll and funny. The wait staff are nice and efficient the cooks are great. The food is great! The interior and quaintness is fun and enjoyable! Good time!

Very pleasant surprise with our meals. The food was very tasty and the presentation was great. Small place though, so we had to wait. Our server really wasn't friendly and didn't smile until it was tip time. That's why only 4 instead of 5 stars.
