Absolutely Amazing ! The sushi was FABULOUS, & the service was everything. As a restaurant manager, and some that had been in the industry for a long Tim service is very important to me. My server was Bella, and she made the evening just that much better!

My wife and I recently had dinner here and our food was pretty good except for the white tuna. Our waitress was amazing though! Bella had us laughing so much.

My go to Sushi place when I’m in town! I love the snow mountain roll!

First time there. It was PACKED which is a great thing means the food was exquisite. The service was awesome for being so busy they flipped tables quicker than I can blink. Great place we will definitely be back.

The sushi here was really good! There are way way too many options to choose from so picked sort of random and it was all legit. I'm looking forward to going back. Updated as I've become a regular here and felt the service rating I gave needed a boost. Sushi selection is great, appetizers and everything else have continued to be delicious. Staff is really sweet, must have been an off day my first visit, been great and quick since! Try the Charlotte roll!

Hibachi was sub par. Fried rice was dried out not fresh. Shrimp and scallops are of poor quality. Vegetables I'm assuming are not fresh seem to be a frozen mix of some sort. Ordered a sushi roll as well. The steak on top was rubber and zero flavor. Do better.

Freshly prepped food and outstanding service. The Yaki Udon noodles are perfect. Rolls are amazing. Sashimi is fresh with large portions. They have a decent sake selection, the unfiltered sake is fab!

I have been wanting to try Asahi for some time now, finally took the time to stop in and gave lunch and it was excellent. Hibachi steak and chicken wit miso soup. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu......

My favorite place to eat sushi. They will even let you custom order a roll. I have my own there. Soo good. It's called the Rukus roll. You have to ask for it.

The Sushi is second to none, absolutely brilliant. The Hibachi, on the other hand, lacks a little to be desired. I would recommend Asahi to anyone looking for great Sushi.

A real hidden gem. My go to sushi restaurant. The owners are there every day and have been for as long as I remember. I've never had an issue with anything from asahi. I recommend them over any other sushi place in baton rouge or surrounding areas.

Protein portions are a little thin but everything tastes excellent! Ordered shrimp tempura appetizer and it came with a bunch of tempura veggies as well! We each had one roll and all the veggies filled us up. So glad to find this gem and we WILL be back!

Had lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed a really tasty meal. Warm, friendly atmosphere and quick service. We had Habachi and passed on the sushi this time. I hear that is also very good though.

Never disappointed with the service Jay and all his employees offer! They go above and beyond for their customers at all times! And when you’re a weekly visitor (like ourselves) they even remember your name and greet you like family. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sushi and habachi!

We picked up dinner to go after shopping at the antique shops in Denham Springs. I was impressed by the extensive menu on the website. Our group ordered various sushi rolls, sashimi chicken, sashimi scallops, green salads, gyoza, edamame 🫛 and fried rice. The food portions were a lot smaller than most sushi restaurants. That was fine with us because of the lower prices. The food was on the lower end of average overall. The chicken sashimi was good. The scallops were incredibly tiny and inedible. There were only four tiny scallops in the meal. They were so overcooked they had the texture of chewing gum. The gyoza was good. Unfortunately, we ordered the fried dumplings and received steamed dumplings. There are several places that serve sushi in this area. I really recommend trying a different place.

First time here. Sushi was amazing I’m a simple girl, I had the LA sushi roll and the crunchy roll both with a side of spicy mayo. Me and my 3 and 6 year old loved every bite of the sushi. They also had the chicken and steak hibachi with double rice and veggies they both loved it. I did not care for the hibachi I ordered the steak with double rice and veggies. The veggies were good the steak was a little chewy. Customer service was really good and attentive. Overall I liked it and will return.
