I heard about the B. Yvonne's southern eatery on Instagram & I decided to take my granny for a dine out experience. The place wasn't too busy, however, because of the limited staff available, mostly everyone was working in the kitchen. Now, because of that limitation, they mainly serve customers in order from whoever is there first. It did take a while before our food to arrive, but when it did it was worth the wait. My granny ordered the Southern fried fish & shrimp (5) basket w/ fries, dirty rice, Peach cobbler, & a coke. As I ordered the Catfish Opelousas, mac n cheese, & a coke. In all the food was delicious & well seasoned. So if you come, just be patient as your food gets prepared as you'll definitely enjoy.

Food is great but they are NEVER OPEN When it says they are. Here now and it’s supposed to be open but they are closed. Do y’all want business or what ?!

Food: Southern Sky Roll 10000000/10 Shrimp Roll: 100000/10 French Toast and Chicken wings: 9.5/10 Mac n cheese: 9.5/10 Collard greens: 7/10 Drink: Peach Tea 12/10 The food was AMAZING just looking at the menu alone will have you craving all items on the menu. Let’s start with the rolls. Let’s just say the restaurant can run on the rolls alone especially that southern sky roll. I would work there for pay in egg rolls plus tips 😂(yes they are that good). The peach French toast and wings were amazing the only thing is I feel like the wings were missing something seasoning wise that I couldn’t put my finger on, but they still were great. The mac n cheese was cheesy and flavorful I like a lot of pepper in mine and that was the only thing I had to add. Did I mention you have to try the southern sky roll? There’s something about that sauce that’s just sends you to be with the ancestors. Back to the other item. The collard greens were alright but like most restaurants it’s hard to have good collard greens in such large scale in my opinion. They were missing some seasoning in my opinion, but nothing a little salt and hot sauce couldn’t fix. The peach tea was nice and sweet just how I like it. If it’s too sweet, don’t complain just add some water 🤪. One thing to note, you can expect a short wait being that I believe they are short on staff. Although we had to wait, the customer service was great and the food was fresh which is the only thing that matters to me. Needless to say I will be going here every time I’m in Houston.

Food is absolutely amazing however the service needs work. When we arrived it is hard to turn into the parking lot without missing it and there is also very limited parking. Inside the seating matches the parking again very very limited. Wait staff is really nice however took over an hour to get our food and drinks, waiter was way over worked there was only one for the entire restaurant she tried her best but kept forgetting things. It’s a great place if you want something to go not for a dining experience

This is one of the best new resturants in Houston! The atmoshphere has a loving, relaxed vibe, with smooth sounds playing from their speakers, accompanied by fulfulling flavors and service. If you like soul food, this is a must try in the Stafford/Missouri City area!

The staff was very professional Great ambiance I had the fried pork chops-season to the bone, collard greens and corn bread very delicious My sister had the French toast and fried chicken wings very tasty (didn’t need any syrup) Appetizers:shrimp roll and turkey with Mac n cheese, collard greens in some sweet dipping sauce was delicious I will definitely be back 💜

The southern eggrolls are on point... a whole Sunday dinner in bite size. Guaranteed to please. Bread Pudding will have you biting your lip.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Absolutely amazing!!! The service was great and the food was phenomenal! I had the fish and grits (amazing), french toast and chicken (chicken was fried to perfection), the southern rolls that was stuffed with Turkey, collard greens and Mac and cheese with a dip of yams (only pic I took since I got a second order.. btw TO DIE for!!!), and of course couldn’t leave without desert so I tried the peach cobbler with ice cream and it most definitely was the cherry on top. This is the BEST southern food in Houston hands down. Don’t miss out on this party for your tastebuds.

Went here for brunch on a whim and it was the best thing I've done Ina while! The service was great and the food was amazing. I ordered the fish and grits— the catfish was fried to perfection! Chef knows what he doing for sure! I'll be back 💗

The food is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for some good southern made mac & cheese this is the place you got a come I haven’t had nothing that can compare to this in so long it taste like my grandma just made me a plate and I’m loving my life, and I also got the bourbon chicken wrap with fries. Their fries are amazing and the food it sounds like the rap I’ll could literally die for this 10 out of 10 best food I’ve ever had

After seeing pictures and reading the rave review on B. Yvonnes Southern Eatery, written by KeAndre of My Southern Brand, who promotes black businesses, I decided to give it a try. The food was delicious. The service was great. I had the grilled Catfish Opelousas, which was excellent. I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu, especially the Shrimp & Grits. They also serve Sunday brunch‼️👏 Sorry, I had already started eating my food before I took a photo. It had a nice presentation. I highly recommend them‼️💯

Food was amazing my only thing I'd da southern style egg roll could have been a lil more crispy erything else was on point.. u will be seeing me again lol 💯🤌

A great southern eatery . Shrimp and grits is the bomb next to the southern egg rolls and shrimp egg rolls. I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH.

This place is magic.immaculate food with exemplary service. The bourbon chicken wrap was FIRE. Chicken was cooked to perfection with the sweetness of the bourbon sauce balanced by the vinegar in the slaw, it literally dripped with perfection. My compadres were equally impressed by the catfish opelousas, bayou Pasta and southern sky rolls. We ate so much delicious food that we had to take the dessert to go. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. Do yourself a favor and go visit Ron & Sean like yesterday.

Once we reviewed the menu we chose to try their appetizer Shy Rolls and for our entrees, we went with the Bayou Pasta and Catfish Opelousas w/red beans. We opted to take our food to-go but the restaurant was clean, the pricing is affordable, the portion size is fulfilling, and the taste well the FLAVOR was all on point. My entre was the pasta and it did not disappoint. I also tried their Kool-aid and Rasberry Tea which reminds me of being at grandma's house and she adds that extra cup of sugar for you to grow on. LOL. It was good but I needed to add a little water. Overall, this experience has earned a repeat visit.

Amazing! We tried the fried catfish, fried shrimp, shrimp rolls, queso and chips, creole cheddar biscuits and even the Kool-Aid. All have been FANTASTIC!! Do yourself a favor and visit this establishment ASAP. You will not be disappointed.

Went here for the first time and ordered the shrimp roll, the dirty south fillet with Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. 1. The shrimp roll.....OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so good. And with the sauce it came with, it made it a 10/10. 2. The Dirty South Filet with red beans/rice and Mac n cheese. The fish was fish. The red beans and rice were good. Nice flavor. BUT....the Mac and MAC. it was missing the cheese. It was yellow but hardly any cheese. Very dry. Didn't eat it. 3. Peach cobbler. I am not a big sweets eater, so I may be biased. So for that, I will just say. It was good. Overall all, I would DEFINITELY try them again. The service was awesome, and the people were very sweet. My food was good. (Just more cheese in the mac) I just hope when yall blow up! The quality and service don't change. I have seen this happen b4. May God continue to bless you in this business, and may you be in business for years to come. Now I have to go and get me some more of those SHRIMP ROLLS.....OMG!!!! SO GOOD!!!!.

Food is fantastic, customer service is unbeatable! I dined in & had a take out order. The battered, well seasoned fish filet and shrimp was oh soo good! Was really impressed with the packaging of my take out order- neat& tightly wrapped, no spills. Shrimp & grits are delish!! I topped it off with peach cobbler- OMG. Just order it! Can’t wait to return.

I ordered lunch for my staff at the U-Haul in Stafford, catty corner from their Eatery. They were very gracious when I called before they opened. I placed my order when they opened, they had it ready when they said it would be ready and the food was AMAZING. The Fried Mac Balls were way more than what I expected. VERY SAVORY!!!! When I went to the location (after they closed) they allowed me in to thank them for the WONDERFUL FOOD and SERVICE. I will most definitely be frequenting their EATERY!!

Stopped by for lunch and the food was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits, fried Mac and cheese balls, southern sky egg rolls. I like trying different things and yes it was gooooddddd!! Loved it!! Go by and patronize this eatery. This is a new place but deserves the reviews.

The food was top of the line in taste and presentation. Our family loved the ambiance which was warm and inviting…beautiful family friendly atmosphere. This restaurant is a “go to” for anyone who loves southern dining and MORE!! Don’t forget to try the fried peach cobbler for dessert… it’s to die for!

Let me tell you something get over to this place the food is great and these dessert rolls are sinful!!!

Recently, I picked up a catering order at B. Yvonne’s. The staff was extremely responsive and offered excellent customer service. The Southern egg rolls were DELICIOUS! Egg rolls was a huge hit at our holiday party. I can’t wait to patronize again. I highly recommend.

Every time I’m in Houston I make it a point to stop in and have brunch. I have tried their Infamous Sky Rolls and The Yvonne’s Shrimp & Grits… Absolutely delicious!

Great service... The fish & grits are a must-try selection. But the Southern Sky Rolls are my go-to menu item.

This food is beyond Southern comfort !! Louisiana folks like their food to dance in your mouth with flavor.. Well mine did a second line dance and I can wait to return.. A must try to all!! Stephanie Peters-Monarch
