Susan the bartender tonight was wonderful! We sat at the bar and had dinner. She suggested the specials of Broasted chicken and the Shrimp Dinner I had the Shrimp my husband had the Chicken and we both loved our meals! We both had potatoes pancakes which had homemade apple sauce ( like Jam) was to die for!!! The Shrimp was the best I've ever had a runner up to Chicago Shrimp house! The chicken was excellent my husband said! Our drinks were very good also! You better not miss your chance to an excellent dining and drinking experience! Thumbs up! We shall be back over and over again! Thanks Susan! I love my Marlis sweatshirt also!!!

Great family run, up north restaurant. The food was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. We stop every time we are in the area. Bonus, they also sell Sammi's Sweets. The freeze dried caramel M&Ms are irresistable.

Long wait but food was very good, however, the server was not very friendly.

Saw Jenna Jane with Dan. They played out on the lawn on a random weeknight. They were awesome and it was a great idea for MarLi's to have such a cool little "party".

Best ribs I've had in the Northwoods.

We spend our summers in the St. Germain area and have tried many restaurants and pubs in the surrounding towns. We have not found an eatery in the area that has better food than Marli's bar. And I mean consistently good food. We have been going there for about 8 yrs. and yet to be disappointed with our meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The owners, Mark & Lisa, and all the employees are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and efficient. Can't say enough about them. I highly recommend trying Marli's Bar.

Great service , and fish fry, we had a party of 12 , they even separated our checks, you don’t get treated like this in most restaurants, Very generous servings, You have to try MarLi’s, you won’t be disappointed

This place must be known for it's chicken. Go early, it filled up fast. My friend ordered a broasted chicken. It came super fast, was crispy and amazing. The staff was fast. Great place.

Came for the Friday Fish Fry based on reviews, and it did not disappoint. The fish was excellent. Baked potato done perfectly. Cole slaw was good and rye bread acceptable. My wife had the shrimp dinner, and it was very good as well. Got there at 5:00 and had a short wait. Not much seating, but tables turnover fast. Hostess and waitress very friendly and pleasant. Something unique that I have not seen elsewhere...the waitresses make the Old Fashioneds! Not the best I've had, but they were good. Definitely recommend.

Best fish fry around and fantastic service even on a busy night in July.

Very attentive staff, from hostess, waitress, bartenders. We had their 4 piece chicken dinner, with the trimmings. Excellent. We have eaten here many times, and highly recommend it for an awesome meal and very competitive pricing. I love this place.

Nice clean place, a little too bright and could use some dividers to cozy up the dining room. Food was "OK" but great service.

I had ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. It came with roll and coleslaw. Service and food were good. Tea was weak.

We were driving around after leaving the St. Germaine flea market. Drove past MarLi … three words on the sign jumped out at us: “Food” “Cocktails” “Fun” …. so we had to turn around. What a wonderful little gem. Katie, the bartender, was quick witted, friendly and knowledgeable about the food on the menu. She suggested the Monday special …. chicken … and it was AMAZING. She also recommended the German potato salad (said it was homemade), and that, too, was AMAZING. We appreciated the cleanliness of the entire place. We will be back because we found a new favorite bar with great food.

Once again, Marli's hit a home run today. Went for a late lunch, had the steak sandwich, wife had poor man's lobster. Both were fantastic!! Thank you to the Marli's team for great, consistent food and drinks!!

We stopped in with a party of seven people on July 3rd. We were seated within 15 minutes and the food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back.

We had the best "fish fry" meal here! Everything was really hot and fresh, the lemon pepper was the best. We were also served by the lovely Katy, who made our experience even better. Local or out of town, this restaurant is definitely worth a stop!

We had cheese curds, poor man's lobster and the broasted chicken. The chicken is some of the best we've ever had. The skin was thin and crispy and the meat was very juicy. The poor man's lobster came with a delicious butter sauce that was amazing. The cheese curds were pretty good but the main meals were better. Everything came out very hot. The fries were really good as well and crispy. The setting was a nice Northwoods style feel. The staff were all friendly and smiling. I also added a bloody that was good.

This was our first visit.... very welcoming staff with a great atmosphere! Drinks were well poured and bartender was wonderful! We both had perch, it was served hot, fresh, and very quickly! We could not have been more happy with this experience....will definitely be returning! If you haven’t stopped here, give it a try.... you will not be disappointed!!😎

Old school supper club feeling and a killer Old Fashion. Mark and Lisa are exceptional hosts as is Jordan the Bartender. Excellent food and location. Wish they were UTV accessible.

Wonderful food, Great service, The tables and chairs are cleaned with disinfectant. I was amazed at the value of the steak sandwich. Fish fry is the best in the area. The prices are reasonable. They have a nice selection of beverages including tap beer. Clean bathrooms, Plenty of parking. I have been here a few times and always have been favorably impressed.

Best fish fry in or out of quarantine!

During Covid they served through their take out window and we ate on picnic tables inn their backyard. Super friendly, delicious cocktails and even more delicious food. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area!

Very good food! We were there with 4 people and we all had different meals and there were all very good. We felt the pricing was very reasonable. And the service was fast & friendly. We will definitely visit them again.

The chicken used to be more moist. It is a little overcooked and dry.

The fried cod was fantastic, but the baked cod was a bit overcooked and dry. Overall, I'd go back again.

A great fish fry on Friday nites & excellent chicken on the Monday nite special. The menu is varied with sandwiches to suit anyone's appetite, including a great bourbon burger. This is a very family oriented restaurant that is child friendly. The staff is super friendly and very customer conscious. A great stop for tourists, first timers to the North Woods, and a favorite for many local residents.
