Food is always delicious and prepared correctly.. this is my go to spot for brunch and visiting with friends and family over a good meal. Everything on the menu is great and the servers take great care of me always

Customized and amazing + delicious bagel sandwich! I got a turkey sausage, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel with cream cheese and it was an IDEAL breakfast. Everything was so fresh + staff were friendly

Went to the Bagel Emporium for the first time. It’s an old favorite of my wives. She was right, very worth the trip. It’s located in a small strip mall, almost directly across the street from University metrorail station. The spinach omelette I ordered was delicious. It came with a choice of sides and the home fries were excellent. Also comes with choice of bagel or toast. I had an onion bagel which was on the dry side. Their coffee was not great (too bitter for my taste) but went well with the cinnamon rugelach that I had for dessert. Finally I ordered White Fish dip for take away. Ate that the next day. It was very expensive - $27 for a medium size - but very likely the best fish dip I’ve had in Miami. This place has an old school charm. U get the impression that most of the staff have been there for many years. Will definitely head back again next time am in So. Miami or heading to Wild Fork (a short walk away) for some frozen fish.

“Otto” was our catering partner and we couldn’t be happier! He got our order correctly and the food was fresh and delicious. We say High Fives for Otto and Bagel Emporium!

This is my go to breakfast pace. The food is very good made with quality products. This is food like you would make at home, if you could. In my opinion, they have the best bagels in town. I highly recommend the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, with sausage gravy, of course. They feature a full menu that has everything from Matzo Ball Soup to Smoked Fish Platters, to awesome Hot Pastrami sandwiches, to Burgers, Wraps, and a Roasted Turkey Dinner that will make you think you were having dinner at your grandmothers house. They also have a classic deli counter featuring all kinds of bagels, with all the toppings such as lox, smoked salmon, plain and flavored cream cheese. There are also other things such as potato salad, cookies, spreads, etc. They have inside and outside seating. Go try them, you will be glad you did.

Uber ordered and no utensils given even though they were requested. No condiments (ketchup for French fries, etc) and the blintzes were a mushy mess in the container. Bagel was entirely stale but the chicken salad was delicious

This diner is a hidden gem. the nova lox platter is great. Fresh coffee and orange. They serve great sandwiches and bagels Don't miss the mushroom barely soup or matza ball soup.

Extremely disappointed. Recommended by a friend, but turns out he was referring to the bagels, of which I have no knowledge. Wife and I are here about 1pm on Sunday 3/10/24. She had the Pastrami Rachel with fries. She liked it but thought way smaller than most any other deli we have been to. My "Hot" Pastrami sandwich was room temperature, bland and the smallest I have ever seen in an actual deli. Pickles came out with the sandwichs. Different than I'm used to.I'm thinking that people come here for other reasons then their deli sandwiches. Don't know how to attach pictures to this review, but they will be in the general picture area.

Worst service ever, they have no respect for customers, I was charged 29.54 when I asked for just a onion bagel and smoked salmon, I went to the bathroom and they took my food when I wasn't even finished, the waitress was rude and let's not even talk about the manager, I will never coma back to this place. I go often on Saturdays with a group of friends, simple but good food and service. Last Saturday I ordered the grill sirloin and it was great. They been there for ever and the quality is consisting. Easy and free parking.

Not very friendly. Server got my take out order wrong, which I discovered after I had already left. And prices aren’t clear. I almost got charged $10 for a Greek yogurt..

I went to their take out counter, paid with credit card and later realized that they added a " non cash transaction fee", although I was not told when paying cashier, nor saw any signs informing of extra penalty for not paying cash.

Very disappointing takeout order, I ordered the farmers omelet and french toast. When I got home I noticed that the omelet came without the potatoes that were in the photo as well as the toast that was supposed to be included. The french toast came completely alone, without the bananas and chocolate chips in the photo and even without any syrup.

Friendly staff, great food.. been there every time in town several times per stay! Bathrooms are shabby, but usable.

The hostess who seats people at this restaurant was extremely rude. He’s the balding older guy with a Hawaiian shirt. My husband and I have been here for breakfast/lunch numerous times. We have had only great experiences with the food and service until today. I arrived first, as my husband was wrapping up an errand. I inquired inside as to available seating outside (as there were empty tables with chairs turned upside down on them, but I wasn’t sure if it was just because it had earlier or something else). The host/manager I spoke to - David, I think - was rather dismissive in the way he informed me the tables were “clearly closed,” but I let it go and chose to be empathetic as they were very busy this morning. He eventually realized there was a table available outside that just hadn’t been bussed yet. Once the table was clean, the man he tasked with seating me was very polite (I didn’t catch his name) and let me know a server would be with me shortly. Our server, Susie, was prompt and beyond helpful, offering suggestions and recommendations in a very relaxed conversational manner, and I could tell she was like this with many of her tables. Unfortunately, right as we were wrapping up out meal, and elderly couple walked up and inquired with Susie about the two person tables I mentioned earlier. She didn’t outright tell them no - told them everything was wet and ask if they were sure they didn’t want to sit inside. The older man was complaining about how cold the air conditioning can get, etc. and being quite adamant that they needed to sit outside. Susie had a hand on the upturned chair next to her and was clearly trying to figure out how to proceed in a way that wouldn’t upset the customers. I was about to intervene myself, because being unnecessarily unkind to service workers is a pet peeve of mine. Enter David, the gentleman I allowed a bit of grace earlier in the morning. One would expect him to address the customers, and inform them politely and apologetically that “Those particular tables aren’t available for service at this time, but I can seat you inside in x minutes. We would love to have you dine with us, but understand if that’s not the compromise you were looking for.” But no. Instead, he speaks to Susie - not just an adult who deserves basic respect, but a team member who is facing the same stresses of a rush as anyone else working there - like one would speak to a child they’re scolding. It was so off-putting that the French toast I had so recently enjoyed suddenly felt very heavy and uncomfortable in my stomach. I’ve worked quite a few customer facing positions in food service, hospitality, and the health/wellness industries. I get rushes and bad days and being overwhelmed. And I really hope whatever it was that was weighing on him is resolved. But I also hope that at some point, he takes a moment to apologize to the team members he was so unkind to, and thanks them for showing him so much patience. If my husband hadn’t convinced me otherwise, I would have caused a scene. Maybe if you’re so frustrated having to deal with explaining the “closed” tables, put a sign out.
