If you want authentic Caribbean food with being in the Bahamas this is the place to go food is great... Conch fritters are the best I ever had and they make them fresh each day

We have made a practice of avoiding commercial restaurant's this has served us well and when we were desiring some spicy home style cooking we found an amazing spot in Bamboo Fire!!! This is our second year spending our summer in Delray, we hope Bamboo Fire is here when we get back next summer.

Fresh take on Caribbean food !!! Super fresh & delicious in a family run restaurant . Great dinner & we loved their sangria . Service on point & very friendly .

The food is great, this is my 2nd time eating here. The conch fritters, rice an jerk chicken was on point definitely recommend anyone to try their restaurant. Good hospitality aswell .

I’m on a solo trip to Florida, and I was on the hunt for the best conch fritters and stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. First of all the service was impeccable and such an amazing atmosphere even sitting alone. The food was just as amazing, these were hands-down the best conch fritters I’ve had yet and the jerk chicken was insanely flavorful, I couldn’t get enough of it. If you’re looking for a low-key spot in Delray and want to try something different, I can’t recommend this place enough!!!!!

This family owed and operated spot isn’t far one of the best restaurants in Del Ray! Leave Atlantic and come here! The Jerk Basa was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 and everything else. - Keep at it! 🙏🏻

5 stars aren’t enough. Donald and his family run an amazing restaraunt!. Everything I have ordered is amazing , Basa lamb chops goat shrimp cerveche roti eggplant dip I could go on and on. You must try! It’s like on vacation in a Caribbean island! Lauren is amazing

A lovely, homey vibe. The food was great, the atmosphere was homely, and our lovely server, Smiley, is the funniest person ever and treated us like family :) The pepper sauce was amazing!!!!!!!!

Hopefully somebody tells you this place exists because you might not find it on your own, which is a damn shame. Family owned and operated, it's a tiny spot, where you will see multiple generations of family, who cook and serve you food filled with love. We came in here on a Saturday evening and were the only ones in here at 5:30 PM. The jerk meatballs, the roti with eggplant, the conch fritters… all the appetizers were fantastic. Be prepared for a little bit of heat in your food. The tables are a little bit small, so if you order as much food as we did, you'll have to find a way to figure it out. I'm not a huge fan of vegetarian meals, but I had no idea coconut fried tofu, could be so spectacular. I was blown away, don't be afraid to order this. We also ordered the oxtail, which was so tender, and in a thick brown spicy with a hint of sweet sauce. The curry goat was fall off the bone. Fantastic. Don't worry if you have to keep ordering , bowls and bowls of rice (you will), they are so happy to accommodate. As we went through our dinner, the place started to fill up and it was real nice to see that everybody in here was a regular. Obviously the locals know this place, and may want to keep it a secret, the cats out of the bag. If you like Caribbean food, this is not to be missed. You can thank me later. Always looking for a good oxtail recipe and dish, and BFC delivered a great guyanese take on it! It felt like friends were serving us their favorite family recipes, which made it even more special! Lauren (Smiley) and her Father were the sweetest and you can tell they’ve put a lot of heart and soul into the restaurant. ☺️

Divine goat curry!!! And the lamb chops were also yummy!!!! And great service by Smiley & her Dad and ALL others. I would go back again and again!

This was a great find for vegan food. The family that owns is it is very friendly. The service was fast & each meal was out of this world delicious! They have a covered outdoor seating area too.

As I approached this rather unassuming, yet quaintly charming cafe, it’s Caribbean vibe and island feel became quite apparent with its colorful decor. Greeted by Donald, I was seated outside amid the cool night’s air which lends to its relaxing ambience. Each course of the meal presented outdid the one before as myriad tastes literally exploded in my mouth. The meatballs were quite spicy (which I liked), followed by a salad with home-style dressing. My main course which was the braised lamb chops were nicely done to retain the juices, making them very succulent. They were very attentive and the staff kept checking on me, accompanied by light, easy conversation between each service. I’d definitely visit again whenever I’m in Florida. Kudos to Bamboo Fire Cafe - I truly enjoyed the experience.

Just left the cafe. Amazing meal, oxtail pepperpot and deep fried snapper. Our ocra fried rice and testones were done to perfection. Very friendly atmosphere felt like I was a true guest and getting a home cooked meal but was served professionally. Thanks for the jerk meatballs. Can’t wait to return

Bamboo fire is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!! It’s cozy, and everything on the menu is so delicious. Their jerk pork is so tender and flavorful, and their eggplant dip is a MUST HAVE. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and every time I’ve been there, Smiley always takes care of us! She’s an awesome server and makes the experience much more unique :)

Have been here twice before and both times the food was delicious. Third time brought an out of town visitor. Very disappointed. Hoping it was just a bad night.

Lovely food, cooked well, but, very small portions, rice came on a side plate to share for 2 people. Eat off plastic plates, requested a coke cola got it in a tin no glass, No other customers, We turned up at 9.00pm and felt like we were being rushed & pushed out, not even asked if we would like dessert. ( left or rushed out just before 10.00pm) bill came to $100 for 2 people. 1 small bottle of red strip beer, 1 can coke cola, curried fish fillet, steamed fish fillet. Very expensive.

Had a great evening here with Smiley taking care of us. Celebrated out friend’s birthday and we loved all the food! I had the oxtail which melted in my mouth. Others had the jerk platter with spicy sauce on the side and it had a kick for sure. Meat was so tender and delicious. We Loved the sangria! (I was so hungry so I didn’t snap photos) They were so hospitable and made sure we were taken care of. They even gave us complimentary jerk meatballs and rum cake. So refreshing and very rummy!

This place is amazing, everyone needs to know about this place. The food is always so fresh and every time I try something new it’s great. The family is so sweet as well and on top of the food being amazing it’s pretty cheap as well for such fresh food. I definitely recommend the chicken curry 🤤🤤🤤

Waited an hour and a half for our dinner until I decided to walk out. I have no idea when the food would’ve arrived. I do know that the waitress and management were non empathetic and ignorant. Every time we asked for the status of our food the best reply they could muster is “the kitchen is backed up”. There was 3 other tables. Pathetic.

A really great, down to earth restaurant in Palm Beach County. The food is always amazing, the music is always fire, and the owner always brings a smile to my face. I have eaten here every now and then for the past 12 years and they are consistently great, every time. It's even more special to me now because the owner reminds me so much of my father, who was a kind, gentle soul who loved good food and to make people smile. I would go just to watch him in his environment but the food keeps bringing me back anyway. Don't change a thing Bamboo Fire, you're perfect the way you are. Caveat for people who are in a hurry... the service can sometimes be pretty slow. Please be patient, relax and just enjoy the atmosphere.

We were in town on vacation and got takeout. The jerk pork and meatballs were awesome, as was the macaroni and cheese. Such amazing food!

Not only is the food amazing but the family that owns the restaurant are the kindest people. We ordered 3 entrees and an appetizer (conch fritters, jerk platter, jerk pork, and grouper curry). So unbelievably flavorful and the perfect spice level. The family also gave us complimentary jerk meat balls and rum cake! Also delicious! 10/10 would recommend and already planning my next meal back there.

Awesome experience. Hidden gem. Our table tried the curry basa, grilled conch, Chick pass, jerk meatballs, jerk chicken, coconut shrimp, curry goat, and sweet plantains. All were to die for! The sangria carafe was a perfect accompanist. Service was attentive, prompt and friendly.

My wife and I decided to try out this spot on a Saturday night. Lauren was awesome!! The sangria was delicious with a pop. We had jerk meatballs, dahl with roti, jerk chicken, and jerk basa. Everything was delicious and the right amount of spicy (you can ask for mild). Live music was the only thing missing.

I loved everything about this restaurant… the food, the staff, the location… For the six of us dining on a Thursday night the place with busy but not crazy busy…we started with 1 order of the Lamb meatballs that had just the right kick of spice, 1 order of the conch fritters that were load with conch and fried to perfection and 1 order the conch ceviche that was amazing. We had a mixture of drinks including shandy, beer and Guinness. For dinner we had - whole fried snapper with a vegetable and spice infused sauce, curried red snapper with vegetables , curried shrimp with vegetables , pepper pot, roti, rice and peas, and vegetable rice …ALL of which was so so delicious. We had leftovers which were amazingly delicious the next day as well. The man of the hour was Donald who took our order and kept the drinks and food flowing. Everything was cooked to order and came to the table very quickly. I plan to visit the area again and will definitely be eating there as I want to sample more of their foods. Make sure you dine outside as they may have the live band playing that day🤷🏽‍♀️…great vibesssssss

Phenomenal hidden gem right off Atlantic in Delray Beach. This was by far the best Caribbean food I’ve ever had (including while I was in the Caribbean). I had the tofu and vegetable curry, and my husband had the jerk chicken (we also ordered roti). The meals came with amazing salads, rice, plantains and bread. The service was impeccable - everyone was so friendly and we especially liked our waitress, Lauren. We cannot wait to go back!

We have been searching for an authentic Jamaican restaurant for some time since moving to Delray…. I love oxtails but these weren’t what I expected…. They were extra sweet covered in a very dark sauces. Most of the bones were very small and little to no meat. Very disappointed! We will continue to drive to Ft. Lauderdale for our Jamaican dishes.

Everything I had was good! I don't do too spicy so I was a little worried, but the flavors were all great and the jerk spice was perfect. It was quiet and didn't take long for my food. What more can I ask for!

Very accommodating when we called ahead, the service was great, cozy spot w inside and outside seating. Had a great time and the food was great. Never tried conch ceviche...and it was very good!

Their Curry Goat never disappoints, always consistent with the savory taste! Love it! The meat serving though became bit less than the usual. All in all, my favorite Guyanese restaurant in South Florida.

The food and service was great! The curry goat, beef meatballs and jerk chicken macaroni and cheese were all delicious.

Try the jerk meatballs if you like things spicy! The jerk chicken is on point as well. Don't forget the Red Stripe!

Wow!!! That’s all I can say. This place is out of this world. I had the goat curry, the jerk chicken, and the tostones with garlic sauce. The people were so kind and cared about what they were doing. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I can’t wait to go back!!

Everything about the experience was great and their customer service is the best you can find. I ordered takeout and had trouble ordering online, so I called the store and the owner was very nice and extremely easy to work with, even when I had a large order. The food was DELICIOUS. The jerk pork was a little spicy, so the rum cake ice cream REALLY soothed my mouth. The owner accommodated all of my dishes for me perfectly and kept them warm for my takeout experience. They also prepared my ice cream dessert when I got there so that it wouldn't melt. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who wants to EAT and FEAST. I loved everything about it and will be back without a doubt

Just had thee most amazing food from here. I did a pick up order (first time customer from St.Pete), greeted with such kindness and friendliness. Ordered the fried plantains with aioli, curry chk and jerk pork...came with salads, rice and sweet plantains. Everything was cooked to perfection. Plantain fries were gone before we could sit down! Meats were moist, flavorful; loved the rice! Had an earthy spice, ever so slight sweet cinnamon undertone with okra. Probably one of the best Jamaican jerk flavors on the meats I've ever tried. Not Americanized jerk flavors. Salads were fresh and savory with tomatoes and mangos. Sweet plantains were amazing...Quality of food was on point. Trying to find more adjectives without repeating. Cant say enough good things. Wish I lived closer to eat this every week!

The food is consistently great and they're wonderful people. We like the tostones with garlic sauce, jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and the guava cheesecake. Can't go wrong with that combo. So much flavor and really filling!

This place has some of the best fried plantains I’ve had in Florida. As for the rest of the food, it had just the right amount of heat! I tried their fried conch dish and hadn’t had that before, but it was really delicious! Definitely would recommend to try this place out.

I really love the food and the owner, he’s such a nice guy. I ordered vegetarian lomein with tofu and eggplant dip but fried rice and a salad were included in the order. The only thing is it is hard to notice the place from the outside because of the front screen. If you’re ever here, definitely stop in.

So yummy!! My fiancé got the jerk chicken and I got the grouper special. It was cooked in a banana leaf and was the most tender and succulent fish. The service was really great and really accommodating to a gluten allergy. We will definitely be back here!!

A hidden gem. We love the meatballs, the curried goat, and when available, the Guyanese fried chicken. Mostly outdoor seating, and not many tables overall. Friendliest people in the front and back of the house.

Best Caribbean place ever! I loved all the plates I tried tonight. It was raining so we couldn't have the whole outside ambiance, but the food itself was worth it. Service was outstanding. We had tostones with jerk pork as an appetizer and sangria, both exceptional. The tostones were definitely home made, and I mean smashed to order. For entrees we had fried whole snapper, chicken curry with roti, and jerk pork. One of the sides was ocra rice... my friends this was amazing, not just good, AMAZING.

Best meal we've had so far while on our beach vacation. Oxtail pepper pot is a must. Get one to split as an app. Everything we had was 💯. Jerk chicken, goat curry, curried vegetables. 10/10 will visit again.

Went here for dinner last night and the service was amazing! The owner brought us complementary meatballs out to eat while we waited on our food and everything was delicious. Some of the best costumer service I've ever experienced, I would recommend eating here to anyone who's in the area.
