Interesting concept. Multilevel complex for social interaction with free parking. A bar at the main level but surrounded by independent food kiosk, a DJ on the second floor with lounge chairs around coffee tables. Rooftop patio full service.

Love this place. It’s my favorite bar in Miami for about a year now! Some of the best drinks in Miami no wonder it was going to one of the best bars in the United States is definitely well deserved. Everything is so creative coming out of the bar.!!! Always fantastic experience!!

We were told groups bigger than 6 were not allowed. Then we were told it was allowed, but it had to be one check and it had to be minimum of $80 per person. They turned us away, so I guess this place is not for the common folk. Bad choice on their end considering the place was empty.

Unfortunately, we were turned away from service here. We came in as a party of eight, and they told us that exceeded their limit of six. We offered to split into two separate tables of four with two separate waiters, completely different expectations and timings and they told us we were still one group and it didn’t matter. We really wanted to try their drinks. We saw that they looked amazing and the menu look great, but the waiter would not allow us to sit even in separate groups. He then allowed us to sit, but only if we spent at least $80 per head because of our group size . On top of it all the place was empty! There was even space to sit a party of eight and multiple parties of four…. We did not take him up on the offer to sit, and found a much better and more accommodating place on the rooftop bar upstairs.

Do not sleep on this bar. Great concept, staff is passionate and greets you with a welcome cocktail. I haven’t been to a cocktail bar as interesting and innovative as this one is a long time. No edits.

This bar is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is lively and inviting, perfect for a casual hangout or a special night out. The drinks, however, are what truly set this place apart. They are something very special and extraordinary, crafted with a level of creativity and care that you don’t find just anywhere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience unique and delicious beverages!

Interesting cocktails but kind of strange not the biggest place interesting vibe

Boooom❤️‍🔥 They are real badass Kaiju. I'm Japanese and when I miss our culture of sophistication with craziness and weirdness, I just think about my experience here. Their drink is the art of passion made with their love with scientifically calculations. You will be welcomed like already diving into different dimensions when you get there. Every single sip will take you to new universe and after that, you can't get over the experience and you can't live without it!! These guys are the best group of, well, I think it would be doing them a disservice to call them bartenders. They're more like mad scientists cooking up cocktail concoctions that you and I would never dream of. Delicious ones at that. They literally use a chemistry set in the kitchen to extract components of an ingredient to either enhance the flavor of it, or isolate part of it to give you a taste of something completely new. My favorite example of this is them isolating and extracting the capsaicin, not to be confused with capsicum, from hot chili peppers. It give you a taste of something new AND it's only one ingredient in ONE of their cocktails. Anyhow, I could talk all day about how amazing these guys are. They're the best group of fellas in hospitality that you could ask for. Great atmosphere, beautiful decor and a loyal, local fan group and customer base. My only request would be they go full tilt and wear labcoats cause they're the ones cooking up these delicious Kaijus.

It's a hidden gem in Miami. The cocktails are expertly crafted, you can tell they know what they are doing and most importantly, they enjoy what they do! At the time we went they had the old menu, we couldn't try all the drinks but all drinks ordered were well prepared, balanced and delicious. The decorations and ambient complemented the experience. The only thing was the music from the food court, it didn't fit the bar, but we went for drinks, not the music.

Mezzanine level of The Citadel food hall, cool concept reminiscent of a colorful anime comic book. Each drink is creatively presented on its own action-packed page, evoking imagery of Tokyo under siege. Nice ambiance illuminated solely by red lights, excellent cocktails.

Drinks are absolutely amazing! Service could not get any better. They add an enticing Japanese twist on their entire menu. The monster theme is adorable and I heard they are doing tournament style Kaiju card competitions. My favorite weekend spot. I would recommend coming here to everyone.

We went to Kaiju and the cocktail are extraordinary. Starting from the menu that drives you to different monsters. Wendigo cocktail is the best that I had in my life. The service is absolutely professional. A must go in Miami.

I'm awestruck by how great this place is! The cocktails are quite possibly the best I've ever had. They are each so unique and have a wonderful thought process behind them that really brings out the flavor. The staff is so knowledgeable and are there to help set the vibe and atmosphere. This speak easy sits on a balcony overseeing a food Court, so not a romantic setting. But...Drinks were quite exotic. If you're into Japanese lore, this is a cool place.

This is such a cool bar with a unique ambiance, decor, and theme. All their cocktails are crafted with detail, care, and passion. The theme is set on monsters such as Godzilla, Big Foot, etc. Haven't experienced something like this before and have to say this is one of the coolest small cocktail bars in Miami. It's a little hidden, tucked away in the Citadel up the elevator in case you're trying to find it. If you're looking for good cocktails, and a quick drink to the end the night. This is a solid spot and such a cool and unique concept.

Everything about Bar Kaiju is fantastic. It's easy to see all the thought and care that was put into this place. The menu, decor, skill of the bartenders, such an impressive attention to detail.

Hands down the best cocktail lounge I’ve been to in Miami. The quality is unreal, unique flavor profiles, and creative presentation. I cannot wait to go back and try more. The service was great and Joe was an awesome cocktail maker. He was very knowledgeable. If you want to experience an artisan cocktail experience this is THE place to go. Drinks were about $17 a piece. Given the quality and experience I thought drinks would’ve been +$25

I have NEVER in my life seen a bar put so much effort in creating their own drinks and menu, and it being GOOD. I tried as many drinks as I could, and i dont know much about alcohol (and hate the taste of it)but everything was so good. Just watching it beimg made, felt like its own art.

Kaiju is hands down one of the best bars I’ve been to in a long time. It’s not a flashy overcrowded space it’s intimate and unique, if that’s something you are into or wanna try a different speed. It’s on the second floor of the Citadel, if you’re in the food hall you can’t miss it because it’s above you with red lights!! The vibes are immaculate and the bartenders are incredibly talented but also such kind individuals. We originally were recommended from a cool staff member at Citadel (s/o Jessica) who told us to try the “banana drink” which is the Godzilla, which they didn’t have at the time, but it was all good bc the owner (who we didn’t know was the owner until after a lovely convo) recommended my friend and I two drinks. We first had the Chupacabra & the Sinsimito and god*mn those drinks were sensational!! So we of course got more! The entire space is uniquely decorated by local Miami artists & the owner is a Miami native which as a fellow native means a lot seeing local talent showcasing their craft. I’ll definitely bring going back & hope many of you also find love + a great experience at this bar!!

On the 2nd floor of The Citadel, there is a new pop-up cocktail bar called Kaiju. All of the drinks are named after classic monsters. What a cool concept! It sits above the main food hall so it's a great place to hangout and watch the bands playing downstairs. The drinks definitely don't disappoint. The bartenders are great at helping you find your perfect cocktail, but you should definitely not be afraid to explore the menu.
