Truly creative pasta and desserts. With two distinct locations located walking distance apart, one the original location which is now reserved to takeout orders and a second dining room which immediately offers the feel of a Michelin rated restaurant, the team has and continues to offer up an exceptional menu and dining experience. Co-owner Gabriella personally helped us with our first reservation—reservations are definitely suggested as they get busy! Our server, Tobias, made sure everything was beyond satisfaction, and then we stopped by and spoke with Alberto who was managing the take-out location. Alberto, who is a Paris-trained chef, is an unbelievably knowledgeable individual who understands what it means to use truly healthy ingredients and avoid seed oils and other really unhealthy ingredients used at most other restaurants. If you’re looking for exceptional food prepared by a rare breed of restauranteurs who understand healthy food, do visit! A note about parking: there is parking adjacent to the take-out location and behind that and the dining location. If you’re having any trouble finding the free parking areas, just call them. A true gem of a restaurant.

Unique experience at Luna Pasta. I was fascinated by the pear agnolotti and spicy rigatoni. I felt very comfortable and the highlight of the night was the service from Tobías. I'll be back soon. Highly recommended!

The pizza had a lot of cheese and no sauce & the coke tasted like root beer and the person mentioned they never tasted coke before when I told them

I often order from this place through UberEats, and the food is always incredible. Naturally, I had high expectations for my visit, thinking it would be even better in person—and it was! Expectations were 100% aligned with reality. The place is lovely and cozy, with great service and delicious food. The prices are reasonable as well. We were a party of three and started with croquettes, followed by three pasta dishes: the lasagna is outstanding, and the osso buco agnolotti were also very tasty. We were eager to try the pear ones, but unfortunately, the carbonara was disappointing—it tasted off, so we had to send it back. The only thing that surprised me was when the kitchen claimed that “the carbonara tastes like that because of the pecorino.” As someone with Italian roots and a lot of pasta in my life, I know that’s definitely not the case. However, the overall experience was good, and they didn’t charge us for the dish. The desserts were delicious, including artisanal gelato and a traditional Argentine cake. I would definitely come back many times—it’s a great place to adopt as a regular spot.

I've ordered from here probably 5 times and been there 1. They probably have the best lasagna we've ever had. The short rib ravioli is amazing too. I wish I could post some pictures but we always forget. Maybe next time

Pasta was ok, i came to this place as they said they have carbonara with egg yolk cream, but probably they changed the cook as that was not egg yolk cream. The tiramisu was indeed as the server praised it.

Very accommodating we basically walked in an hours before closing and they were happy to serve us so thank you so much for that! Burrata: this dish was so fresh the burrata was fresh along with the pesto, and tomatoes. The sliced prosciutto was equally fresh and they do not skimp out! Pastas: - the pear agnolotti was perfection. -Carbonara was dry decent flavor I would like it to be more of an emulsified sauce but it was the opposite. -pappardelle was a bit to aldente but was a very light and flavorful dish although the sauce was a bit watery Dessert : was amazing anything you choose will be amazing. I would give a lower rating but they were very nice and accommodating we will return soon and I’m sure my updated review will be a 5 star.

This place is a total gem! The vibe is super cozy and stylish, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy some amazing food. I kicked things off with the croquettes😋seriously, they were incredible. For the main course, the fettuccine Bolognese and porcini mushroom ravioli were out of this world. Everything was fantastic, and the prices were pretty spot-on. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Food here is spectacular, we have around 2 years visiting this restaurant and we keep coming back because we love it! Their golden plate, the carpaccio, the cesar salad and their focaccia with eggplant butter are delicious!!

We went with some friends to Luna Pasta e Dolci and were all pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food. As we dined, we learned that all their pasta is made fresh in-house every day, which truly enhances the flavors and authenticity of the dishes. Eating here was a pleasant experience, I wanted to try a place with real Italian flavors and I found it here. The Golden Plate was amazing, and my husband really enjoyed the Black linguine Shrimp Fra Diavolo. The service was also good, Tobias is a great server. Super attentive and always there when needed. The environment was also really chill. This was a great experience. 100% recommended

Amazing food, everything i tried on the many times i visited the restaurant is brilliant, tasty, Perfect all throughout. From the simple things to the more elaborated dishes, all fantastic. Gabriel Medici is an excellent chef and a fantastic person.

First visit, and this place will definitely be on top of my list. Casual and cool ambiance...Great staff, from the manager to the super-nice and attentive waitresses, to fabulous little dip with bread upon seating down, to - grand finale! - home-made fresh FABULOUS pasta! And reasonable prices on top of that! I will see you soon!

Always a delicious and delightful choice coming to Luna with a mixture of Italian and Latin this place really shines. Dine in or take out you can’t miss on the quality but of course I recommend a nice time when you can.

Would be a five star review if it weren't for the fruit fly infestation they were dealing with. Hopefully they will get that resolved quickly. They recently moved into a new space, so they are learning the issues. Most importantly, the food is very good. The happy hour menu was very pleasing. The prices are average for the MiMo area. I would go there again.

The best pasta I’ve had in Miami! So fresh, so flavorful, and great prices. We had an app, 2 entrees, dessert + a bottle of wine for under $140. This place is A MUST! The service, the food, the ambiance 20/10. Highly recommend.

Everything from the food to the service was very basic. Barely any taste on the pastas and the carbonara no flavor. Will definitely not recommend. Additionally as a suggestion train your waiters not to stack plates.

My wife and I like to think we know all the great restaurants in the Miami area. Well…we stumbled upon this one when we were stuck in traffic on Biscayne Blvd and noticed this restaurant we had never heard of. We looked it up and said to ourselves how can there be an Italian restaurant with a 4.8 rating and never had heard of it? Can it be legit? Well…last night we got our answer. It’s superb. We’ve only been there once (so far), but can tell you the pasta dishes we had (the “golden plate” and the fettuccine bolognese) were as good as any in this town. Empanadas, so often disappointing, were great. Especially the onion/cheese. A good Caesar salad. Luna doesn’t have as extensive a menu as many places, but who cares if you’re looking for great pasta. You’ve found it here in a very nice space, understated vibe with a friendly and helpful staff. And for this day and age, very reasonably priced. For those who know the area, Luna is located in what used to be Michy’s about 10 years ago. Parking in the back. Bravo Luna. Update (June, 2024): We’ve been back no fewer than a dozen times. The original review stands. Great place.

Large well spaced dining room, very good food and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food sand service. I’ve been several times and have never been disappointed.

Excellent Service Delicious food

The best pasta I’ve had in Miami. Great portion size for the price too. Place is quaint, it would be good for a number of occasions. Had the gnocchi, agnolotti, Cesar salad, and another beef stroganoff gnocchi that was the special that night, finally the tiramisu. Definitely going to come back here it’s worth making the trip up north from downtown for me. The service was fine which in Miami means it was good. Recommend getting multiple things and just sharing.

Incredible Italian food in an unassuming location! Be sure to make a reservation, or have a date night for two and sit at the small bar like we did. The grilled octopus was a particular standout with the perfect texture served over a beautiful sauce, and the pastas were exquisite. The dessert portions are plenty large enough to split between two people (or take home for a midnight snack!). The waitstaff was friendly and accessible, and we were well served even though we were dining at the bar. Keep an eye out for a specialty cocktail (we loved the Aperol spritz), but otherwise you’ll find a long wine list. I would recommended this to anybody, and we hope to return soon!

We had a very pleasant experience in this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the prosciutto and cheese croquettes and the margarita pizza, the lovely music but the best of all was the attention from all the staff at the place, it's a shame we don't know the girls' names, Tobias is an excellent professional, his suggestions and kindness won our hearts. We visited on a whim and couldn't be happier that we did. Unfortunately, we weren't very hungry, so we didn't get a chance to try any of the hand-made pastas. However, if we had more time in Miami, we definitely would have returned for them. The true highlight for us was undoubtedly the empanadas. The variety of fillings and the perfect filling-to-crust ratio were outstanding. It's a 10/10 from us, and we’d love to go back and try everything on the menu.

A super relaxing and excellent place for families and friends

Keep in mind that I stopped by around 8 pm and they closed at 9 because there was no service, no atmosphere at all and food looked like it had been sitting there since lunch. Maybe one day I'll give it another try earlier

Loved this place! High quality food and great service! It was a bit loud (on a Thursday evening) but it didn’t bother me too much. We ordered the Caesar Salad, The Golden Plate (Ricotta & Truffle Tortelloni, mixed mushrooms, truffle, demi glace cream sauce), Pear Agnolotti Parmesan, and two glasses of the orange wine. Can’t wait to go back!

Decided to try spontaneously last night as it was worth it! Food was amazing and service was accommodating. There was an issue with the Resy platform not communicating wait-list wait times correctly but they graciously sat us about 10 minutes after arriving. I recommend caving ahead if you don’t have an official reservation as the wait-list option caused miscommunication. The staff really came through and provided an amazing experience as we will be back to try the rest of the menu. The empanadas and orange wine are a must.

Tobias was my waiter on my visit and he recommended the golden plate for the main course, it's a 20/10, if you come you have to ask for it and for dessert profiteroles are the best! They have a 20/10 in service, attention and food. Oh and Tobias as a waiter is the best.

There's one thing a lot of Miami restaurants miss out on and it's consistency. This place is not one of them! We live in Brickell so haven't had the chance to dine-in yet but Luna Pasta has become one of our go-to weeknight dinners. Food always arrives hot and is just as delicious every time! Best Alfredo in Miami and the Mafalde pasta is soooo good (& vegetarian !!). Thanks for making busy weeknights a lot more enjoyable :)

I don’t go here anymore, I got hit by the car on my bike leaving the parking lot where the hedges are too high. The landlord, Mrs. Ng told me she thought it was ha ha funny.

A small pasta place ideal to have a bottle of wine with friends. Try Burrata Verdi which is delicious. The golden plate ( Tortellinis filled with ricotta cheese and Demi sauce ) are pretty good as well. The lamb chops were amazing. Make a sure to make your reservation if you don’t want to waste your time to get a table.

It is a warm restaurant, the decoration is super cute, the service is incredible, we spoke with Juliana who is the manager's assistant and she was charming. The dishes were delicious and the recommendations were spot on

Luna is our newfound culinary gem! We've explored nearly every dish, from the zesty spicy beef empanadas to the tantalizing Burrada Verdi and exquisite octopus. The caprese with its flavorful candied tomato was a recent highlight, showcasing the freshness and seasoning of their pasta dishes. While the lasagna tasted great, the bechamel's firmer consistency wasn't to our preference; perhaps it was an isolated incident. The portions are satisfying, and the perfectly cooked Flap steak left us impressed. Save room for dessert, especially the divine Nutella tiramisu – a must-try that ensures we'll be returning for more culinary delights at Luna.

They used to be quite great, but recently the quality of the food has taken a nose dive. We used to order from here at least a few times a month since they are very close to our home, but now it's a big no-no. We tried a few times to go back, since for a while they were so good, everyone can have an off day. But for the last few months the orders are more often wrong, poor tasting, or missing items than right. Chicken tasted like rubber, like they took old chicken and put it in the microwave the last 3 times we ordered. The pasta was cooked well but the sauce was barely cooked so while the pasta was al dente the rest of the dish was raw and like they threw it together two seconds in a pan and called it a day. So disappointed as we really enjoyed this place for a long time.
