Fast and excellent service. Fresh foods.

Very rustic style restaurant with an awesome craft and produce store nextdoor. Food was good, service was good and the setting was oddly unique but satisfying. They have many different areas to sit all with a different feel

We grabbed a to go order of the breakfast plates the other morning and it was delicious!!!

Horrible toward blacks this place is not right and to think I use to love their food is sad.. I came this morning horrible rude toward me and my child

Homemade biscuits are the jammy jam and as big as your fist. Local meats and outdoor seats. Can't beat this place for a solid meal!

Seating is almost non existent.We sat in the carport where it was pushing 90 degrees and at $15+ per person for chicken tenders and a small Philly cheese steak I wasn't impressed 🤷

They have the cutest little restaurant next to the Little Deli they have right there I went inside the restaurant best food he ever tasted it's home cooked food and the ladies in there were so nice and very very good service and I went next door they have the cutest little Co-op store they have every types of anything you want from Suites to Meats to home cooked cakes and sweets and they have just about everything you need and it's clean food it's really good and the prices is really really good I would recommend anybody to go in there and feel the experience that I felt... I felt like I was in my mom and pops Town deli just felt like home..

Great burger, very, very nice service. If we had been traveling alone as tourists we would not have stopped there. Thanks to my brother who lives in Anderson it was recommended to us. Hidden gem! The service is phenomenal and the food is always hot and fresh. The Philly cheese steak and cat head biscuits are amazing.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. This is truly a gem in Anderson. I didn't have time to visit the store, but plan to soon. I'll definitely return for more meals as well.

Chicken Parm absolutely delish,chicken very moist and thick a nice and big cutlet and best fry's I ever had ,was gonna start my diet putting it off till next week gonna try everything on the menu lol can't get the French fry's off my mind tho... 5 stars without a doubt 👍

Omg, I went here for the first time a few days ago and it was AMAZING! definitely a hidden gem 💎 EVERYONE was so incredibly kind, the food was DELICIOUS!!!! Everyone seemed to know everyone and it felt very much like a Sunday brunch after church. I'll definitely be back time and time again!!!!!

Love their selection of items in the "store" side. I get my gallon of raw milk here every week, and my girl loves they have organic chicken breasts. I like their frozen filet mignon. The service is great. Next door is the actual "grill" side where the food is hot fresh and delicious!

Came down to Clemson to see my oldest daughter graduate from the college and we stayed in Anderson County @ a beautiful house rental on Hartwell Lake... Just 5 minutes away this Wonderful GEM !!! The Barnwood Grill & Market is a LOCALLY supplied, family owned and serviced... An amazing experience and fantastic hospitality!!! When in the Area again (still have a 13 yo to hopefully follow in the older siblings footsteps @ Clemson) we will be back and this will be a Stop for sure!! I would recommend anyone looking for an exceptional Breakfast or Lunch STOP AT THE BARNWOOD!!!!!

What a great little gem. Fantastic, fresh, and flavorful food. I got the barnwood burger with a side of Carolina caviar (black beans, black eyes peas, and diced veggies in a vinaigrette). Next door you can find fresh produce and an assortment of great items, farmers market style.

Amazing food. I always order the Phillies. Best in town. And the owner is so friendly. She even gave me a few cactus clippings earlier so I could grow my own haha. Awesome place.

We have eaten at the Barnwood Grill a few times now, and it has been amazing every time. I had the famous Reuben sandwich for lunch the first day, and then we went back for breakfast, and I had the breakfast bowl.

This place is different then any other eaten place. Atmosphere is great U have antiques U have produce U got bikers on motorcycle all this in one place to look at great place to visit.

In town for training and decided to try this place out. Upon first appearance, it looks unappealing. We were greeted at the door, and they made space for our large group. The staff was amazingly accommodating. We ordered our food, and it started coming out. Everything was hot and fresh. It took a little longer, but it was lunchtime. I had the Barnwood Burger and FF. It was delicious and I'd order it again. I'd definitely go back and try other things. It is a hidden gem.

I love this restaurant - I try to get to it every time I visit the area. Try the Frisco Dog, trust me, it’s like no other hot dog you’ve ever had. Delicious!

Visited for the first time today. Was recommended off of a Facebook post. This food was outstanding! I got the burger. I had no idea they had a store that offered tons of locally sourced meats, produce cheese, honey, ice cream, etc. I would love if they were open dinner hours a couple of days a week since I usually don't eat lunch or breakfast. Will definitely be back!!!

I went last week with a friend for lunch. This was our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. The food was delicious. All the ladies were super friendly! We set in the side where the store is. They have a lot of little goodies in there for sale and a lot of local items. You definitely need to make a trip out there!

I've been hearing of Barnwood Grill for some time now, finally got the chance to give them a try. What a blessing it was, small town atmosphere with a very friendly staff, reminded me of the good ol days. The food was delicious and loved the little market inside. We will definitely be back. Not many restaurants like that anymore. I highly recommend The Barnwood Grill.

I’m not sure how old the reviews I read were but I was disappointed.We went for breakfast and the biscuit was dry and the gravy was horrible. Maybe lunch is better?

This place was a complete surprise. My son brought us here for lunch. Although the decor can generously be called "rustic", the menu was a complete shock. Roast beef dipping sandwich with whipped feta cheese is a good example. We ordered 2 burgers, a chicken tenders wrap and an excellent special sandwich. Everything was excellent, including the fries. Service was friendly. Our kids are regulars and whenever we visit them, we will ask to return here.

My husband and I have lived in Anderson for over 7 years. Shortly after moving here we fell in love with this place. I am 100% on board with supporting local and after working in the Customer Service industry, the customer is the first choice. It is very rare that I am home during the week and can have lunch with my husband. Today, we wanted to soak up the sunshine and have lunch in one of the outdoor chicken coops. We sat for over 10 minutes until I went in to place our order. Shortly into placing our order, a lady walked in and started yelling at the lady at the register, taking our order. She looked at me and started flailing her hands back-and-forth coaching me on what I should and shouldn’t do. I am very observant, and I know for a fact that the owner takes pride in her business. If she would’ve been there to witness this she would’ve told the lady who was yelling at both me and the lady taking the order at the register to get out of her restaurant. Even the gentleman behind me commented on how rude and unprofessional she was. This is the last time I will ever step foot in the barnyard because of this experience. Again, I am all about supporting local, but one time bad taste of my mouth I am done. I don’t care how good your food is. My husband and I went down the road to Fruit Punch, and you would’ve thought we were walking into Momma’s famous kitchen. We were welcomed with open arms and our tea never got below half glass. I love friendly environments, excellent establishments, and people who take pride in customer service!!

Love the atmosphere, employees and the food! The owner is a great person as well! Lots of fresh local produce here definitely want to check out the farmers market while you’re visiting.

This place may not look like much from the outside, but their food is fantastic. The waitress we had was so friendly. The country store that sells local items is a nice touch also. We'll definitely be going back.

This place is so cute. You wouldn't expect such good food but everything I've had here is delicious!

I am still thinkin about my breakfast here a week later. The trash bowl with country ham was incredible! I will make it a point to come here as often as possible when in the area. I really enjoyed the unique seating possibilities. You can take a table in the attached grocery store, or even a seat on the front porch. This place is a true gem.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had!! They put so much love into their food that you can taste it and it will put you in a good mood. This place has the tendency to get packed so definitely go early for a table.

Waited 40 min for lunch, ordered a fried chicken salad and a patty melt! They were out of fries, my salad came out it was nothing but lettuce for a hamburger, I had to ask for spring mix The fried chicken was hard as a rock, the dressing were hot The chips were stale and not cooked I didn't even get to eat because the food took so long What has happened They used to be good Oh and I didn't even get the right dressing And everyone that was working looked like they were scared to death of something It was an awful experience

Finely prepared, sliced meat with just enough Swiss cheese & thousand island dressing — none of which dripped out onto my hands, mind you. I ate it up with a side of fine french fries, thank you very much! My cousin offered me some of her homemade crisp chips, which were quite excellent also. The best part of this here local establishment? Well, first it’s the availability of many seatings. Outside, inside, corners, big tables, side tables — you guessed it, it’s your fun choice! Add to that the sweetly keen vibe coming from the smiling waitresses — ladies all around happy, genial, and ready to make your meal just right. 💛 Cost was very reasonable — especially given the quality of the local ingredients. Coolers surround which offer these products cold and/or frozen. Not sure my next play at Cousin Peggy’s in Fair Play. ☀️ But when I do? Barnwood Grill & Market will surely be set on my vacation agenda! 🙏🇺🇸🤠

We first stopped for breakfast a few years ago and tried the trash bowl breakfast and man it was amazing. Today stopped for lunch and had the Wicked dip, patty melt and cheeseburgers for the kids. They took a little longer to serve but they also had 2 parties of 15 get seated just as we came in so that was understandable. If ordering a soda, those come in plastic bottles, I don't think refills are given for those. But tea is available as well. We like to walk through their roadside produce stand as well. Great atmosphere and friendly service!

Loved this place. A little "quirky" if you have never been...there are several seating options ( in different structures). But once you have a little guidance, you are good to go. Breakfast was great! We went back for lunch but unfortunately, they were not open ( it was the week between Christmas and New Year's, but was no mention of closure on line). Will make another trip to eat soon.

Was not expecting paper plates and plastic cutlery. But i had a huge home made biscuit, a good serving of home fries, sausage and eggs. We sat in the market. It was a little chilly on the con rete floor so the waitress turned on a heater for us.

Fun tradition to go every election day. Been good every year and great specials so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone coming through town
