First-time patron. Ordered a pastrami and swiss on rye. Pretty straight-forward sandwich, but perfectly done. Bread was fresh and flavorful. Not too much stone ground mustard. Shop was immaculate, and staff was super friendly. VERY small. Get there early or late if you want to eat in. I imagine it gets packed.

Damn good sandwiches...soups and salads. Everything is sooooo fresh and delicious. Tables are clean and restrooms well kept and tidy. Parking is pretty good unless its busy but even then not too challenging.

This is hands down the best lunch spot in Tampa! Such a great experience every time. Sandwiches are delicious. Service is excellent too, the owner Wes is super friendly and pays attention to the details, makes sure you're always taken care of! Try the pasta salad it's amazing

I used to live in Tampa a few years ago. I came back to visit Barrow’s and noticed how much better it looked and felt. The interior looked renovated and the food was awesome, per usual! I’ll definitely keep coming back and recommending Barrow’s to everyone!

I'm here at least once every other wk. The sandwiches are always consistently good and loaded. I actually order a half. The service is always friendly and quick. It can get pretty busy, so I try to beat the rush at noon.

Came in to order some lunch for my coworkers and I. The place was busy but service was fast. Sandwiches were big and tasty. I got the curry chicken salad sandwich and it was delish. Can’t wait to go back and try something different.

The best egg salad sandwich around. All is delicious and not out of a box or a can. All made from scratch, when you need that home cooked comfort food go to Barrows, they got ya covered. Soups, salads, sandwiches oh yeah the chicken salad too!

The owner, Wes, is amazing and knows people by name! He even knows what most of his regulars order. It is such a caring atmosphere with attention to detail! If you want a delicious hand crafted sandwich this is the place to go!

Awesome spot. Wes is great, they treat everyone like family. The food is wonderful, all hand made. I’d much rather spend my money here than a large chain. Such a great value!

Had lunch with my husband at this place and all I can say is that it was the best sandwich I have had in a long time. It reminded me of NYC. Everything was fresh and top notch. Would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve driven by this place many times and decided to give it a try. Once I walked in I noticed how neat and clean everything was, that’s a plus for me! I ordered the curry chicken salad sandwich and macaroni salad, both were super fresh and delicious. They could definitely raise the prices here, best deal around for this area. The owner was very friendly, I’ll definitely be back!

Very small restaurant. Waited 25 minutes for 1/2 sandwich each. The sandwiches were both soggy. Expected more for the price. We didn't even receive the correct sandwiches.

WOW! The turkey and swiss! perfect amount of mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese & turkey. FRESH!!! the pickle was great and the soup was creamy and FRESH. Authentic cafe. Will be back.

Barrow’s is a delicious little cafe that serves up BIG flavor. The owner is very involved in the business from start to finish and I admire that a lot these days. I try to get some thing different each time but I really tend to love the soups. It’s hard to find home made soups these days. They use 🐗’s Head (my fav) and there’s no skimping on the portion side. I’ve never even had one bad thing or something I didn’t love here. Even if you can’t make it during the normal business hours, you can always Uber eats it. Lastly, I love to support my neighborhood local businesses. Give them a try, you’ll love it!!!

Friendly, cozy venue. Nice selection of sandwiches. I was “cautious” about the use of Boar’s Head meats, a deli-staple at Publix, but their bread and condiments make the sandwich mush better. They have soups, but I didn’t try any. Small selection of chips and drinks round out a nice meal.

I'm visiting from San Diego and was looking for a fresh lunch. This sandwich hit the spot and was perfect. It was simple yet so delicious. I got a Turkey sandwich on white bread. If I'm ever I'm TPA again I'm definitely coming back.

I came in here today, got turkey sandwich with chips and drink. First off, I have never seen such a clean restaurant. Seriously, even the fountain area had no mess. And my sandwich came out in 5 minutes! I honestly thought it was going to take forever for a little meal like mine but they proved me wrong. No joke this is the best sandwich I've had in like 10 years.

Sandwiches made fresh to order, and the bread is always super fresh and soft. This place is always busy, but that's because the quality is always good. If you want to eat there, come early since there is limited seating. Order at the counter for fast take out service.

Came for lunch and was happy to find this little spot. We got soup and a sandwich and everything was great. It's an older building and seating is limited, but fits in with the area.

Delightful deli on Henderson. I was told the pastrami melt was amazing and it didn’t disappoint. The owner greeted me and treated me as if I was a familiar face. Absolutely delightful. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Perfect day and a perfect lunch. The corn chowder was amazing, and probably my new favorite soup near me. Also tried the turkey melt.. equally as delicious. I love supporting local businesses, and when the owner is there working, taking your order, you know it’s going to be good. Wes was super nice, and I will definitely be back!

First the food is really good. I ve had their chicken noodle soup. Excellent! Most of all what I think is important is the service. I needed soup and they called me back to let me know it will be on the menu the next day. Who does that?! I know I can be a pain but they are awesome. I wish there were more stars to press!!! 5 is not enough...my new favorite place

Great, quick sandwich shop. There's not many of these in Tampa and it's the perfect place to stop grab a sandwich for lunch or if you're on the go. Every sandwich tastes fresh too (bread/ meat/ veggies).
