I heard they would special make cakes. Had them make a large carrot cake with no nuts and raisins, with cream cheese frosting. Best carrot cake I've ever had!

I walked past this place so many times and didn’t realize because it’s a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, like a food truck, but without an engine. I would highly recommend it though. It’s a husband and wife duo and the food is amazing. Pretty much baked to order and always fresh and hot. I got a sausage roll and a cinnamon Pull apart which was straight out of the oven. They only serve hot drinks or bottled water and soda, so not tons of options there. They also don’t have any seating since they’re a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, so it will be a little bit weird if you don’t have a car to eat in. I ended up eating on a curb next to a dumpster so the atmosphere is pretty dismal. But the food is so worth it. Best breakfast I had in all of Fairbanks.

Requested a last minute birthday cake for the same day with an absolutely amazing result. They were incredibly receptive and went out of their way to make the birthday memorable. If that wasn’t enough, the cake was gorgeous and insanely delicious. I will forever recommend this location for all bakery needs. An absolute #1 in Fairbanks.

I’ve always loved Whole Foods fruit chantilly cake for my birthday each year lol but getting that in Alaska isn’t possible. My husband surprised me with a birthday cake and whoever made this did a fantastic job. It was SO delicious and the little flower decorations were the cutest.

We traveled on a Holland America cruise and started our trip in Fairbanks, AK. Batter and Crumb was awesome on the morning of our Gold Dredge day! They were up and at 'em early (7 am) creating delicious treats for breakfast! I loved my chocolate chip scone and my blueberry muffin. My one son got the blueberry muffin with some 'heaven' topping and the other got the cinnamon knots. Both really enjoyed them! Today was our 'sweet day's. They also have savory options that we'll try tomorrow. We'll be back! I recommend it for folks on the cruise. It's only a few blocks (6?) away from the Westmark Hotel. An easy walk and so worth it!

Delicious. We had a lemon tart and butter tart. The owner was so warm and friendly. She even put a little yummy surprise in our bag. 🤗

Like this place! Great food and coffee that’s fresh and made right there in a little white house. Prices are reasonable and person who runs it is very friendly.

I had a cake made for my wife's birthday. I gave them full artistic license to make something special and they did not disappoint. We were treated to a blood orange cake. It was delayed and very attractive.

Awesome customer service! Yummy classic scones. I will come back another time for the hot food options. Open 7am to 7pm. Really sweet local business, it was hard to choose only one baked good to go with my americano. Yum! Warning- this place is outstandingly good. The scone reminded me of pastries in Paris and Istanbul. This place is the place to beat for baked goods.

Absolutely loved their curry chicken hand pie and every sweet pastry I've had from them is delicious. As an added bonus they have a great selection of fancy loose leaf teas.
