Wonderful place and a neighborhood staple if you’re in the area. Part of an awesome cafe is an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile and The Bean has it. We had bagels and latte flights, we thoroughly enjoyed it all.

I was near by and decided to give it a try, I walked in and didn’t feel very welcomed. The staff was super unfriendly and didn’t greet us walking in. Our drinks took forever and others were being called before us. Terrible service if I can give it a zero I would

I hate to do this, but I don’t know what happened to this place. We started going here regularly many months ago but it’s been a mess the last few weeks. Drinks made wrong, items forgotten from our order, and the fact that we order online so we’re tipping ahead of time just adds insult to injury. It’s like regardless what you put in your order, they just do whatever they want. Extra ice? Maybe, maybe not. Extra sweet? Maybe, maybe not. At this point I wonder if we’re even getting the milk options we choose. It’s wild because everything had been outstanding and all of a sudden things fell off. They refunded my drink and my daughters this morning, both of which weren’t made correctly, and gave us vouchers for free future drinks. Very kind. I just wish they’d get it together in terms of consistency and quality control. Updating this. As much as we’ve tried, there continues to be issues with my coffee nearly every single time we go. This morning they were out of sugar-free caramel syrup but instead of telling me that, they just put salted caramel drizzle in instead. They re-made it for me with just hazelnut but ignore the extra sweet that I originally ordered. I’m over it. We’re done wasting our money.

Loved our trip here. Coffee, refresher, and steamer were tasty. Double chocolate muffin was really rich. Kids loved the cake pops! Most importantly, the barista was extremely helpful. My son and I need extra time with new places & large menus (which they have!!) and the barista was so patient. The barista explained each menu section, helped explain the caffeine -free options, and waited patiently while my son and I worked through what options he had. We never felt rushed. Overall, we felt welcome here and that can be hard to find when the world is so fast. My son commented on how calm and comfy the atmosphere was once he was settled with his drink.

Visiting York and stumbled across this gem! I was very excited to try it out. Walking in, it gave a feel of coming to a friends house. Very warm and cozy. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu options so asked for recommendations. The barista was very patient and kind while making suggestions. I selected the cinnamon toast crunch latte and it did not disappoint! Walking around, I noticed there was a spot for board games, a kids area and outside seating. Everyone was so nice! Definitely felt like it has bones of love, peace and kindness. Would definitely recommend this place!!!

I had a macchiato with vanilla, coconut, and cream, it was very good! Could use more seating inside, but other than that, no complaints! I'll definitely stop back again.

This little gem of a coffee shop was an amazing start to our morning while staying in a nearby hotel up the street and visiting from out of town. They have a HUGE drink menu, so many bakery treats to choose from, and the staff are so friendly and amazing in helping make recommendations! There are some very tasty smelling locally-made candles and some unique earrings also available for sale. My family and I absolutely loved the local feel and warm atmosphere. If we are every back in town in York, this place is definitely on our list of places to visit

Love this establishment but the biggest fault is the either attention to detail or the quality control. I constantly order from here multiple times a week, and I always have hopes that changes would happen out of thin air, but alas. The driving problem is the inconsistency in the orders I create. I order the same drink each time, along with the same pastry 75% of the time. My drink is constantly wrong, either it’s not the milk I’ve selected, no whip cream (that I’ve paid extra for), the drink tastes like a completely different menu item, or there’s no pastry with my order. Luckily my partner and I are confrontational (not rude) so we don’t typically have a problem interjecting, or speaking up to get the matter taken care of. The driving factor for this particular review is convenience: the order ahead system is somewhat great, minus the way the logo blocks out 80% of the screen when ordering, but the true problems arise when I come by to pick up my order. It’s never correct and really defeats the purpose of order ahead. I never feel confident anymore to order before work or on a time crunch. I love this establishment, the atmosphere, and even the products you serve. I just wish that I didn’t have to write such a negative review, but my hopes are that changes are brought to the table. I wouldn’t mind altering my review in the future either, I am a reasonable person.

Their coffee is great but their smoothies are unbelievably delicious. They have found the perfect texture and ratio for the ideal smoothie. Could not possibly recommend high enough!

I had them make me a peanut butter and butter cookie latte, it was awesome.

Belmont is one of our favorite places to hangout and have a cup of coffee! I love their HoneyBee Latte and the amazing cafe area they setup for the kids to play at!

The coffee was decent and I enjoyed being able to work quietly in their cozy, themed atmosphere. The pastries and baked goods caught my eye, however I did not get a chance to try any of them yet.

Coffee is always amazing great atmosphere. There's more to this little shop than you think check it out you'll make it your new favorite coffee spot like me!

I've been wanting to come here for years and I wish I would have visited sooner! Delicious baked goods and unique and flavorful coffee.

Disappointed! Belmont was recommended and we stopped in this morning for Sunday coffees and a sweet. Walked in, no acknowledgement or hello. Finally came to counter Not crowded! . Cappuccino and a Red Eye w/scone. She didn’t know what that was. (Black coffee with espresso shot). Got capp, but no other drink. 10 minutes and we finally said something. They were confused and gave an espresso shot in a cup and pointed to the trio of available coffees. All 3 had some sort of flavoring and straight black was not even offered. There was no offer to remake drink. In addition, there was no cream cheese available for bagels- at 8:30a.m. in a Sunday!!! We have supported many local and multi county cafes/shops. It does have a quaint and cool vibe/decor. We prefer to shop local, but this one sadly did not impress. I’m glad there are so many good reviews and we wish them well; however we will not be in a hurry to return or recommend.

Definitely a hipster type place IMO. Not that that is a bad thing.... Service was definitely very slow, but the girls were busy and working hard. If I stopped again, I'd just get a cup of coffee, I think you get that yourself. Nice place.

Love their coffee..I usually get a latte or cappuccino in different flavors. Service: Friendly staff. Location: very nice, cozy atmosphere. Has seating inside and out. Prices are comparable to star. Paid $6.94 for large caramel latte. (Jan 2024) In My opinion i wouldn't buy coffee everyday at close to $7.00 but its a treat for on the go mornings. Love to support small businesses when I can.

Got the caramel macchiato, very good indeed. The atmosphere was fantastic and customer service was great. Staff was very friendly and personable. Will definitely go back in the future!

One of the best coffee shops around.

Pluses, great atmosphere, really good coffee. A lot of sugar-free flavors that are clearly marked. Minuses, do straws are too small for the cup. The bagel I got was not extremely warm and was served with frozen butter. There was no sleeve or wrap it was just put in a paper bag. Not very warm considering it was just made. Bit huge issues untill you look at the prices. At 6.60 for a coffee plus flavor (.75) and whipped cream (.40) and 3.75 for the bagel and cream cheese (1.00). I would have expected better.

I love coming here with my son. They sell freshly roasted coffee beans and have a nice assortment of treats. We really like the pretend coffee stall in the back - he looks forward to that the most.

After waiting in line for 10 min, I ordered a bagel and Americano. 5 min into waiting for my coffee, I was told they were out of bagels. I asked for a refund and they could not figure out how to provide me a receipt. Other disgruntled patrons have told me they've been waiting 30+ minutes for their coffee order. I'm still waiting.

Always good coffee - not a great place if you’re in a hurry. Be ready to wait for a little but that is what comes with smaller businesses so nothing I didn’t expect. The coffee and environment makes the wait nothing worth getting upset about. I love seeing this small business thrive!

This place is like a warm and cozy blanket roll up in a room l☺️😌. That is how my husband and I felt when we walked in here. The coffee were delicious and the service was wonderful and the owner was very nice and helpful. I will definitely go back and enjoy the coffee and atmosphere.

So glad I found this place!! I thought it was going to be a tiny little hole in the wall and it is definitely not! I enjoy grabbing coffee and curling up with a book. The staff members are phenomenal. Highly recommend.

The Cinnamon Bun is one of the best Cinnamon Buns I have ever eaten in my life. Please keep this available all the time. Coffee is fantastic as well!

Really loved the coffee flight from Belmont Bean Co. I've never had a coffee flight before actually! You get to choose whatever speciality coffee (seasonal lattes, flavored lattes) or regular drink (cold brew, latte, mocha etc.) and they'll make you a flight of 4 different coffees to try. Super cool. A little pricier than I expected ($14) but overall very fun and would do it again. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed with tons of tables and space. I did wish the music was a bit louder as it felt awfully quiet at times. It's a great spot to sit down and talk or play a board game over coffee though.

If you're a fan of dessert coffees you have got to try their latte of the day. Their drink menu has a lot on it and a lot of customization options. Honestly competes with Starbucks in making sure your drink is exactly what you want. PLUS the space itself is absolutely adorable! Lots of comfortable seating and a gorgeous space with lots of fun eclectic decor. They also have items for sale from local artists! You love to see it

perhaps the coziest coffee shop I have ever been to! lots of big cushioned chairs for lounging and reading. relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. kind understanding staff. oh yeah, and the coffee is delicious!

Love this place- good people and great coffee

I absolutely love coming here to meet friends and catch up over a coffee, tea, or lemonade flight. Very cute local spot and I enjoyed all my drinks. Not as impressed with the baked goods selection, I've tried muffins and scones and they weren't my favorite but coffee definitely makes up for it. I did not see any handicap accessible entryways.

I accidentally found this cafe on the way home and right now I am drinking incredibly delicious coffee, which was recommended to me by the employees of this cafe. There are three rooms here. The restroom is also nice. The atmosphere is just incredible. Will definitely come here with my friends

Love this place! The drinks and pastries were delicious, and the service was quick. I appreciated that we could bring our dog along and sit on the patio. Will definitely be back.
