Amazing food great prices fast and polite service. Deff recommended!

Have eaten here twice, so far haven't been disappointed, there pulled pork bbq sandwich is very good, lots of meat on a toasted bun, there brisket sandwich is the same but sooo much better!! Highly recommend this bbq joint!!

Food was alright, but the overall experience was super weird. Everyone working there seemed completely miserable, those we spoke to were downright irritable. God help you if you’ve got a question about the menu or an item’s ingredients. Very disappointed in the service because the place looks so promising from the outside. I probably would not eat here again, because the vibe was so weird and uncomfortable.

Frickin' delicious bbq with friendly, attentive service in an authentic, no-frills atmosphere. The brisket tacos were a real treat! Plus they have a full bar. Heads up, the BBQ beans are cooked in ba mustard-based BBQ sauce.

Great barbeque! The pork belly bao buns are great and so is the ramen with pork belly! The smoked wings are a gem and the street corn is a cool compliment to the zesty wings. Definitely stopping by the next time I'm through town!

there simply aren’t words to describe how exquisite the food at Mitch’s is! better than any BBQ i’ve had in the south! the chicken sandwich is the best thing i’ve ever eaten in my entire life! No detail is overlooked- each and every side dish is crafted with as much care as the main meats! hands down the best food in all of pittsburgh! The staff is incredibly friendly and we’ve enjoyed genuine conversation with Mitch himself.

Great ribs. Meaty and good quality. Also baked beans, Cole claw and Mac n cheese very good along with corn bread. Forgot to try the pork rinds. Will try them next time.

All the reviews were amazing and we had to give it a try - to be honest it was really middle of the road and nothing stood out as fantastic. Not bad but not overwhelming.

Best bbq and sides in the area, by far. The food is SO good, the sides are unique and delicious, and the folks who work here are great. This place is a huge family favorite, and I highly recommend!

Looove the food! And the inside is awesome with all kinds of decor. The lady who took my order was very nice and explained things there is a man who picks up the phone and sometimes works the counter and he isn’t so nice…but this experience was great!

Excellent barbecue and the buns are a must!

They forgot our order.. Waited 25 minutes. Followed up with kitchen staff and it was clear that they lost/forgot about the order. Eventually gave us a cold order and had to take it home to warm it up. Kitchen staff was chaotic and disorganized. Kind of embarrassed I brought some family here after having read good reviews.

Great group of tight-knit friends and family run this delicious and eclectic bbq restaurant. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, I had a great drink and some very inventive and delicious bbq tacos. Will definitely make a point to return!

We drove by many times thinking this was take out only. After dining at Mitch's , my husband and I enjoyed the food very much. We had the brisket and chicken tacos. The mac and cheese is to die for! I would recommend that the back patio be cleaner and neater for the patrons. Lots of boxes and clutter around. Finished with ice cream and delicious sorbet. Will definitely return.(Previous 5 star rating has changed to a 2 star rating. The food quality has deteriorated, they always run out of food, place looks dirty and unsanitary)

100% hands down still the 2024 BEST BBQ food in the North of Pittsburgh area!!! The brisket is super soft and cooked to perfection. If you want a taste of the best ribs and pulled pork in the Cranberry area you must try Mitch's!! Family run and everything cooked in house. If you haven't tried the sorbet it's a great item to check out as well. You know the food is great when the local employees from similar restaurants come in to eat!

This place is amazingly awesome. The ramen noodle bowl with smoked meat added was unique, fresh, and full of flavor. I've tried a few other things here as well and always fantastic. The smell of the meats smoking alone is fantastic. Solid lunch options and pretty quick, especially considering it gets very busy and packed at lunch inside and out. Only suggestion would be a way to order online or via an app - as ordering at the counter is clunky and awkward (plus a decent line forms at lunch). I'd rather order ahead and have it ready on a shelf for me when I get there. But that's nitpicking for sure. They even offer a selection of bottled beer, a couple of which have low daily special prices. Did I mention the food is fantastic?

Mitch's BBQ is on point. Brisket is delicious! Spicy pork rinds with kimchi dipping sauce are different and delicious.

Best barbeque in the Pittsburgh area. The brisket is great! Pork buns are awesome! Everything I had was really good. The price is great for the quality. I love it.

We ordered pretty much the entire menu. Everything was good. The ramen and the pork rinds were amazing, and the pork sandwich was a killer deal. They were very busy yet everyone was super friendly and in good spirits. Super happy came and we will come again.

Stopped by for lunch and was pretty disappointed. The service was lacking. No one working here seemed particularly happy. The older gentleman behind the counter was very irritable, dismissive and kind of mean to my husband. The lady who brought food to our table was sweet. The food was delicious but the atmosphere was sad and bleak. I would not have a sit down meal with my family there again. We will be utilizing takeout from now on.

I had the pork belly buns, brisket buns and kimchi to enjoy at Mitch's and then a brisket sandwich to go. Everything was delicious! Others in my group ordered ramen, pork rinds, street corn, and pork BBQ. Mitch and the staff were friendly and hospitable. 10/10 would recommend

The guy behind the counter was much more interested in his phone call than taking my order, same with gentleman in front of me. Food was served room temperature at best and no silverware, no napkins, place was dirty and disorganized. NOT recommended!

I guess this is Northern BBQ? It certainly is nothing like good Southern BBQ. I probably should have know better when they called pulled pork 'Pork BBQ' and saw Kimchi on the menu. Overpriced for what you get.

Been chasing good bbq up north since I visited Texas in 2020, this place is the closest I’ve found to replicating it!

Mac ‘N Cheese and street corn were good! The brisket and ribs were blahh. Not terrible for northern bbq and not terribly price. The staff was very kind. 2/5.

I lived in Austin, TX for 6 years and Mitch’s BBQ brings me right back. The smoked meats, asian influenced dishes, and phenomenal sides make this place a must try. Be aware, they sell out! Also, save room for the homemade ice cream!!

Staff was very kind and helpful since it was our first time in. Food was great I got the chicken tacos and they’re DELICIOUS. My boyfriend got the Ramen bowl with the pork belly, baked beans and he loved it as well. We will definitely be back to try the other food items.

Always good, loves to talk BBQ, various sauces compliments but dosen't overpower the meat. Meat can stand on its own.

Our first stop won't be our last for sure!! Pork and Brisket sandwiches were killer! Beans, coleslaw, and Mac n cheese were great! We dined in and loved the atmosphere. Oh....the bread for sandwiches was AMAZING.

Stopped by for lunch and was pretty disappointed. The service was lacking. I don’t need much, but a friendly greeting and a warm smile go a long way. No one working here seemed particularly happy. The food was also a let down. I got the roasted pig sandwich, smoked wings, and sweet potato cornbread. The meat on the sandwich was borderline cold. The smoked wings were completely lacking any kind of smoke flavor. The cornbread didn’t really taste like sweet potatoes and had an odd texture. My suggestions: Make sure hot foods are properly up to temperature before bringing it out to guests. Find someone who can greet guests and answer questions about the menu without seeming annoyed by it. Improve the layout of the dining room so there is more room for guests to maneuver with their food.

Ate here two times, got food poisoning from the brisket both times. Waited 30 minutes to get my meal when I went in only to get sick. Second time my work got it, everything arrived cold and I got sick once again. Will not be back, and it's a shame being as I love barbecue and its very close.

If you want authentic barbecue look no further than Mitch's. Best in Pittsburgh by far. Ribs are meaty and delicious and the pork belly Ramen bowl is phenomenal. And the barbecue sauces are fresh and delicious.

The guy behind the counter went out of his way to make me feel welcome… oh wait, no he didn’t. He was miserable. We recently got back from vacation with my parents and my dad really wanted baby back ribs, but the restaurant we always go to was closed. So I said let’s give Mitch’s a shot I hear good things. First time to Mitch’s so I’m pumped to try it. I walk in and ask for a full rack of baby back ribs, the guys behind the counter said “We are out.” He said what else can I get you? I said “That’s actually all I was interested in, thank you though!” The guy - who I assume is Mitch - lowers his glasses, stares right at me and just shakes his head. Shooting proverbial lasers right through me. Cool, thanks for making me feel so welcome Mitch! With customer service like that how can I resist coming back every day of the week?

I don't understand how this place is so highly rated, food is less than mediocre at best and service is atrocious. Walked in to place take out order with a bit of everything, portions were so small family was still hungry after eating what was ordered. Gentleman taking my order seemed like he didn't want to be bothered at all. I can grill better food at home with more food on table at a cheaper price. Won't be going back.

This is the best Brisket sandwich I have ever had. An the Mexican corn is out of this world. Love this place.

The baby back ribs were pretty good not really fall off the bone which is what I like. The brisket was a little fatty and I know there's fatty brisket as well as less fatty brisket. The sauce was good but the spicy sauce I didn't like as much

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was awesome. I lived in Georgia for several years and this is real BBQ. Tacos were so 💣 and the ribs had a smoke pink ring in them. Just wonderful. The service was great!

Pulled pork was ok just not enough smoke taste.

We had takeout. The pork and brisket were very good. The Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were very good. Make sure to order early as they run out of many items very quickly.

Tacos, ramen, pork buns, wings, and ribs. Mitch was evidently so focused on whether it could be done, that he didn’t ever ask if it should be done - and yet if he hadn’t, then we wouldn’t be blessed with this hodgepodge mash of cultural culinary dysphoria that would confuse even the wokest of liberals. Sometimes I wake up at night in a cold sweat wondering if I’ll ever live up to new standards of diversity and inclusion set by Mitch. Probably not.

Such a unique blend of fantastic bbq and things like ramen and tacos. And the black cherry soda they sell is so yummy. I’m always happy with their brisket, and the smoky mac and cheese is a great combo with it.

Amazing BBQ with unexpected Asian fusion

This place was packed at lunch time which is a great sign. I had the brisket tacos and they were phenomenal. I also got a side of Mac and cheese. It was serviceable but nothing great.

The food was a little bland for the BBQ but the sauce was great. The pork belly and Raman was near flavorless but the chicken sandwich was really good. I was not able to try anything else because they were sold out. I definitely will try it again if I'm ever out that way.

You can't say enough about the food. Everything is amazing. And they cater for large events! The place has a really cool vibe the people were all super awesome that worked there. Loved this place!

First time trying Mitch's, and I'm glad I did. So many good options, nice and helpful staff, nice atmosphere. I tried the brisket, ribs, brisket taco, smoked wings, pork bun, and brisket bun. A lot, I know, but my fiance and I split everything. Including a cocktail he had, we paid around $105 (it's cheaper if you pay with cash). My favorite items were the brisket buns and brisket tacos. They are packed with soo much flavor. The brisket itself is good and melts in your mouth. The ribs are also tasty. My least favorite had to be the plain smoked wings. They were seasoned but missing something, and the texture was a little overcooked. I will definitely go back and try the sweet potato cornbread.

Excellent brisket and an eclectic menu.

The food was tremendous. We had a bunch of appetizers and loved every one of them. We were so hungry and the food was so good we didn't even take a minute to snap some pictures. Do try to get there early as they will run out of pulled pork and smoked sausage. We had the brisket and chicken sandwiches. Both were decent sizes but not overly large. I will definitely be going again. Oh! Don't forget to get some of their homemade hard ice cream.

It has been awhile since I’ve been here. Always seems a bit crazy behind the line but just get past that and enjoy the food. This trip was a brisket sandwich (lean) with peppers and onions. So good. Should have ordered two!!

Came here on a very busy Saturday night. Had the brisket tacos, pork tacos, and smoked wings with regular BBQ sauce. All excellent! It’s a fairly small joint and clearly very popular. Things sell out early, and it’s clear why! We’ll come back again to try more items!

Had an issue with getting a gift card and the owner replied almost instantly after I posted my experience and was gracious and made it right! Will be getting my pops a gift card there for his b-day in August! Extensive research tells me you can't get better bbq anywhere around!!!

Mitch's has the BEST BBQ around. Can't find any better brisket, ribs, pulled pork and beans!
