Great local bar with live Jazz music.

I absolutely LOVE Madame Vic's, and it's owner, Scott! WONDERFUL neighborhood bar, with GREAT live music, BEAUCOUP reasonable drink prices and, IF there's a cover (there usually isnt,) it's ALWAYS less than $20! There's always snacks (hot popcorn & nachos,) and when they DO have food, it's EXCELLENT!! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Madame Vic's! It's the locals place to be!

Love the atmosphere. Band was great. Crowd was easy going and loving every minute. Owner is cool af and welcoming. Food was a pot luck. Not sure that they actually cook there. But great eats none the less. Definitely recommend!

Such a little neighborhood gem. With the best Friday night live music. I’ve been raging alcoholic lately and needed a break from drinking. The bar tender made the best mocktail I’ve ever had. :)

Great drink selection; beer, liquor, etc. Lovely venue. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was delightful company. The live music was excellent. If I'm ever back in NOLA I'll definitely be making a return visit

Very nice bar with space for some live music. It’s off the tourists path and almost hyper local but it serves up a good drink to go with its charming vibe.

this is a breathe of fresh air in a neighborhood sorely needing the love. Classy, beautiful, great restoration of a mansion, with two bars and live entertainment, art, and outside seating. This opened during the pandemic, and you must be vaccinated to enter. Making it even more spectacular. A one stop place with air bnb, and beyond. This is one of the greatest places in a city that is fighting back gentrification. Jazz, Swing, and beyond. Great drink selections and an all star cast behind the bar. Updated-still one of the great jazz clubs goin strong. Great venue too for weddings and parties. Yes you can rent it out. The night nite air bnb upstairs means you can throw a great party here. Classy and very New Orleans. Open wed thru Saturday. Occasionally art markets appear.

Went here for the first time recently to see the Washboard Chaz Trio. Very comfortable venue. It still has that new out of the box feel but it has all the right things going on, great bartenders, reasonable prices, nice outdoor space and terrific pop up food on the night we were there. This place should age well in the coming years.

Great people! Beautiful courtyard! The inside of the old home/new bar is amazing. Wonderful art for sale! Super cool Latin night band andddd Drag Shows with pop-ups! Poker machines too. All in all a great New Orleans hangout!

Beautiful interior, clean restrooms, good music, but a little expensive, in my opinion. Also, it's located on the second floor of the house, so no handicapped access.

Very clean with a modern restoration of an old structure while leaving the ambiance and charm of the original structure. Drinks were appealing and served with a little New Orleans neighborly love. The sound was ok the night I visited, but the performers needed a sound engineer to balance the levels to enhance the sound within the venue. My fellow patrons swayed back and forth in chairs and some danced the night away. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and I will return for another enjoyable evening soon.

This is an amazing place to hear music and it’s so intimate and lovely. I don’t know why it took me so long to write a review. I found this about six months ago. There are live art shows and live musicians. The bartenders are very nice the owner Scott is absolutely charming. The clientele is just lovely and really into music and art so it’s a more sophisticated crowd. Not pricey just regular prices and they have a back room for private parties which was nice to find out. And then they have art openings it is absolutely great place to go I just saw an art opening I think Max Bernardi and this coming week at Jazz Fest is really great artist New Orleans artist Michael Fedor has an amazing opening of I know he does a lot of musicians some that have been drawn they are at Madame Vic‘s so yeah I highly recommend this place highly highly recommend it. So far, the music is complementary so you’re really just paying for your cocktails and to hang out in good company in a lovely space it’s also very intimate so the musicians are right there which is super cool

Very nice venue overall. Kind of cramped where the band was set up, but attractive place. The owner, Scott, was very welcoming and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous restoration, FREE and AMAZING live music (like TALENTED y'all...it can't possibly stay this way, the acts are too good), coolest/funniest bartender and door lady, an absolute gem in every way 👌👌 get ye there.

Seems like a nice bar but there was a "Burlesque" show when we were there. I would've preferred some good live music.
