One of the best mediterranean food in louisiana By far the best in the city.

What a disappointing meal!!! 🤬 The marinated vegetables had some foreign item in it. I hope it was a food item. That should have been my sign to get up and leave. The fried kibby was fried too hard, greasy and had no taste. The chicken sandwich had no flavor. The wait staff no interest in my dissatisfaction with the food. I used to eat lunch there in the past. I will not return to this restaurant and I do not recommend it. Sad.

Went to a birthday party here, Superb food, excellent service, and very chill atmosphere. You must try the chicken shawarma, that's how I determine if a Mediterranean restaurant is good, but you can't really mess that one up. Check them out in Harvey.

Food is good. The staff is always courteous. Several healthy choices on menu. I'd recommend to friends, family, and anyone looking to try something that doesn't leave a guilty feeling. I enjoy Cleopatra.

had an amazing falafel sandwich while social distancing from the elections on TV. Sandwich so good I forgot about the chaos of 2020. Still thinking about that falafel hours later. Gonna dream about it too. Gonna name my next kid "Falafel from Cleopatra" Update 2024: my son Mr. Falafel from Cleopatra and I still frequently visit this establishment. He looks at me with pride in his eyes knowing he was named after perfection 👌. Try their hummus too! Dip a falafel in there and you will have a Anton Ego flashback moment.

I LOVE Cleopatras. They are my go to when it comes to lentil soup and other vegetarian choices. I love the grape leaves and also the hummus. Takes me back to Albania. My Mediterranean roots are strong and it’s good like this when I don’t miss home

The best middle eastern food you’ll find on the westbank. I was eating here before society lost their mind and was afraid of their own shadow. With that said, their prices here have stood on solid ground while everyone else has gone up. Less than $45 for two people plus appetizer. You won’t find that anywhere else.

The best Mediterranean food in New Orleans. Really can't beat the price. The owner is really friendly to those who are new to the restaurant.

Advertised as gluten free. Food was cross contaminated on the grill.No chicken on the salad. Was it was left off, would have put me in the hospital had I eaten it, so maybe it’s a plus. Hoping I won’t be in the ER.

My sister and I flew all the way across the country to be blessed to stumble across this family owned restaurant. Everything was five stars food, service and atmosphere. Our server was so kind and attentive. It was such a nice place to get out off the busy streets. Thanks for having us!

I’m not really a big fan of Mediterranean cuisines, but this place is so authentic that I keep wanting to come back. I love how they provide huge portions of complimentary bread before your meal and pair it with pickled veggies. I ordered the fried kibby, lamb chops, chicken tikka, and beef shawarma. The portions are ginormous and definitely worth the price!!! You can tell everything is homemade, and my favorite is the hummus! It’s soooo good!!!! What made my dining experience even better was the service. Our waiter was phenomenal. Very attentive and accommodating to our requests!

I noticed this restaurant on the map and decided to stop by. I didn't regret it for a minute. The food was amazing. The meat was simply magical! The portions, like those of hospitable hosts, did not leave us hungry. AND COFFEE!!! It's been a long time since I found good coffee, and even with baklava. I would be a frequent visitor if such an establishment were in my city. The prices are an additional plus to add to the collection of compliments. I will leave only one wish for the owners: please change the quality of water supplied to the client. This is the only thing that is very upsetting.

Omg the best food ever! Been in Louisiana for a month and this was by far the best food since I been here. Love love the thick white sauce they provide with the meal, amazing!

I was very impressed with this restaurant! The server went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Super sweet guy. Now the food... 🙌 DELICIOUS. I loved their baba ganoush, loved the bread, loved the lamb skewers... everything was just amazing. Definitely recommend. Update: I ordered take-out, I couldn't forget this place 🤤 I ordered the lamb chops, which came with a side of tasty hummus, salad, and rice. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked. They were tender and seasoned well. So good. Of course I had to get my favorite, baba ganoush & baklava! Everything was fantastic 🤤 This is officially one of my favorite restaurants ❤️

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and great staff! We fought over the pickled vegetables on the table - such a great start to our meal. The gyro plate, fried kibbeh, and falafel were so yummy. One of us got the soup and one the salad, both traded and agreed the flavors were top notch. The soup was incredibly comforting and I could have eaten a gallon of it. Wish we had this restaurant close to where we live in Texas!

I ordered the falafel wrap with fries and I guess for the price ($8) it wasn’t horrible but the only thing I can taste is pickles! The falafel or hummas has absolutely no flavor, the wrap was stale but I loved the fries, they had an interesting seasoning blend sprinkled on top. My wrap just looked and tasted terrible but the staff was very friendly.

This is the BEST Mediterranean cuisine restaurant…I would & have recommended this restaurant to others.

Excellent food but take out because you can't bring your own wine. I respect, I just want my full dining experience. ❤️

This was my first visit to Cleopatra, and they are a hidden gem I didn't know was on the Westbank. My server, Muhammad, was very attentive and gave a great recommendations. The price was great, and the food portion was enough for 2 servings. I definitely recommend them.

This is a very nice place for a delicious date night dinner! The food is consistently fresh, delicious, nutritious and flavorful! The service is great too! It is also a great place for take out on the nights that you do not feel like going out. My new favorites are the filet mignon shisk kabob, the eggplant and cauliflower, the red lentil soup, Greek salad and baklava! Dining there is the next best thing to having a homemade dinner at your gracious, Palestinian best friend's house !!! It is really good food, every time! I highly recommend going there for your next family dinner celebration!

White tablecloth type place but no worries, you don't have to dress up. Very nice atmosphere, especially for a large party or special occasion. Food was good as always. Sorry they didn't have pine nuts for the Lebanese tea and they had steak fries instead of the usual shoestring fries. Either way, the food was still very good. Falafel are always great and highly recommended. Haven't had anything on the menus yet that wasn't good. Wish they would give humus with the bread as an option instead of the pickled veggies but that's my personal observation.

Very welcoming. Even though it was close to closing time the service was wonderful, the food was fresh, and they did not rush us.

My friend treated me to Cleopatra for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious!! The waiter was very nice and courteous! When the manager learned it was my birthday he gave us a beautiful desert with soft flaky top and bottom crust called Baklava!! I can't wait for the next time we visit!!

My favorite place to eat! The filled kabobs are can't miss! (Best steak around) and the shrimp kabobs are fantastic! My wife and I usually order one of each and swap for a surf and turf. Their iced tea is great and the complementary bread is awesome with the olive oil! I love the lentil soup!!!

Awesome restaurant! Food was fresh and tasty. Portions were very good. Polite waiter. Free pita bread and pickled veggies to start. We had the Veg Platter and Chicken kabobs. Both were excellent. Cost was very reasonable! Highly recommended!

Good Falafel Sandwich and friendly people

I haven't been here in a long time because I moved to the Northshore, but I really, really enjoyed the food and service here today!! We had a party of 14 and the service was spot on! He kept our drinks full and every order was correct. My husband and I follow the keto diet and they were able to accommodate us with switching out rice and hummus for salads. Perfect service! Very pleased!!

Yes. It's a five stars. No this isn't a HIGHFALUTIN place and yes highfalutin is a real word, I checked. If you have never tried real Mediterranean food this is the place to start. I tried five meat items and they were all delicious and fresh. The Tea was so fresh and perfect. They have complimentary appetizer of pickled veggies and olives. Try the cleopatra sampler appetizer. First off the price is right and you get to try a lot bomb stuff like stuffed grape leaves. I got the lamb shank and had no clue how to eat it like a lady. Luckily, the meat just fell off the bone so I still have my lady like card. If none of this has moved you to try this place, listen up.. our waitress Lucero has worked there for 10 years and she is not bitter. She was delightful and told us about her favorite food and if even if she was just working for a tip, I loved her. I feel bad for people who drove by this place not knowing there is small treasure in there. I could go on about the salad and the in house made baklava but if you aren't convinced by now... well... that's on you and my conscience is clear.

Been looking all over the city for lambchops. Found Cleopatra and was excited that it's on the Westbank. Not far from me. Absolutely love. Definitely would be back.

It's ok. My family & I ate here for the 1st time. I was not impressed with the overall appearance of the place, the service wasn't great & the food was ok. I could say more but I won't. I will not be returning.

It's quite funny how I live in fresno, CA yet I'm reviewing a restaurant all the way in Louisiana. Growing up; I lived in belle chasse and my parents would bring me here all the time. It seems as if the times we ate here, it all became a core memory. My family loved this place as much as I do, and even still we yearn for a dish from this place every now and then! Their food is absolutely amazing! Especially their hummus! Can't wait to visit you guys soon!
