Amazing food. Great atmosphere.

My favorite bar near West Chester!! With pool tables, live music, fire pits, and great food.

GM is TERRIBLE. They short you for the price you pay! Asked to be shown my shot poured in the jigger. It was short. Was told my beer (which was in a 12ounce glass was 18 ounces, there’s no such glass). They are scamming. Don’t go there!

I walked here after I donated platelets. I was hot and tired, so a came in to cool down. The food smelled so good, so I had lunch and it was amazing.

It breaks my heart to have to write this review. I loved the Brickette, and in many ways still do, however, the new GM hired in July has in many ways ruined the Brickette. As a regular for the past 8 months who was greeted by fantastic bartenders who were sociable, knew my name and drink order, and could often be found adding to the atmosphere even on their days off, the shift was dramatic. The new GM has replaced most of the bar staff with only 1 or 2 remaining, banned old staff under threat of trespass, and brought in incompetent "bar" staff (read: Her prior Yes Men) from Longhorn, one of whom asked me last night if a PBR was a kind of cocktail. The atmosphere of a proper honkytonk is set by its bar staff, and unfortunately, the new management team doesn't seem to understand this. The new bar staff is slow to serve even on slower nights, doesn't seem to know their way around the bar, and seems disinterested at best. The bonds that kept regulars coming back have been dissolved, and they've fired their strongest assets, including staff that stepped up and dedicated so much to the bar whenever it needed something done or had unexpected problems. The food is still fantastic, as is the line dancing, however if you're looking to have a *spot* where you know your bartenders and your bartenders know you? Skip The Brick.

We made a reservation well in advance that a lot of high school teachers were coming for lunch to celebrate summer break. They were completely understaffed. Long line for food (no wait service). They were out of some food. The drinks were very weak and watered down. Just a 💩🕳️ place. Mens Bathroom didn't have a door handle inside it. I will say at least the food was decent. They didn't plan at all and they are disrespectful to teachers.

It’s like walking into a Time Machine to late 60s - 70s. I love it and I hope they never change the decor.

Staff is awesome. The food is amazing. The vibe is old school VFW chic. My new favorite place. Awesome event today.

An easy going atmosphere. Everyone is welcome. Line dancing with Steve is the best.

Drinks are way too expensive. The pool tables are terrible. Place gets way too packed and there's one 4ft pathway to go from the entrance to the back where the stage is and people just stand in it blocking the path all night.

Still a great spot for live music (and never a cover chg). If I can make 1... make that 2 suggestions, #1 turn down the volume. It's a small room and the clientele are generally already hard of hearing. No need to blow out what remains. #2 lighten up the joint. It's too dark inside. The 'old-timey' feel is dated. They're obviously doing something right, so calling in Jon Taffer isn't necessary, but a bit of sprucing up wouldn't hurt.

Country line dancing on Wednesday is so much fun! Parking is difficult because it gets packed

Food is delicious and moderately priced. Good crowd of people. Pool tables Shuffleboard and a Pinball machine Will.be back

We stopped in on a Friday night for live music after having dinner somewhere else so we didn’t eat anything. We sat at a small table near the stage and next to the pool tables. Our server was friendly and quick. The place wasn’t too full when we first got there around 8:30p but after the band started at 9p it filled up quickly. The bar was packed. Our server handled the drinks for us and that was nice. We had a lot of fun. People were dancing and some dude in a cowboy hat was putting his hat on people and it was pretty fun to watch. Everyone in there seemed to be having a good time. From what our server said, it was busy for a Friday and Saturdays are usually packed. From the road it looks like a convenience store and even once you walk inside you can’t really see how big it is until you walk around the bar. Parking was easy however I imagine if they are busier on Saturday night it might get tight. Bathrooms were somewhat clean- probably get a lot of traffic. Check their band schedule and stop in. I heard they do line dancing too.

If only there were more places like this in existence the world would be a better place.

Came across this place on Instagram it's awesome it's a real deal country bar in Westchester and the barbecue is awesome Real Deal Texas style stopped in during the day the bartender was a younger guy didn't really know the drink menu he spent a lot of time behind the register playing on his phone and hitting his Vape all in all the place was awesome and I will definitely be back

Morgan was amazing and treated us like we lived in the area. Next time we visit we will definitely be back because of her.

I loved this place! The food was outstanding as was the Blues band. The staff are very nice and helpful and we had a great time. Can't wait to go back.

First time visit with a friend for line dancing, fun experience people and service were nice and engaging. Was there for just drinks and dancing, did not try the food.

The food is great but I go here Monday nights for line dancing. If you want to try line dancing I HIGHLY recommend coming out one Monday between 6:30PM and 10:30PM. Dances are taught more towards the beginning of the night. Steve is the best and is there the first, second, fourth, and fifth Monday of the month and he is more beginner friendly. On the third Monday David Kim does a good job but is less beginner friendly but he does still teach. Best part is The Brickette does not charge you to line dance!! Because of this I do get a drink or two to show my appreciation. EDIT: They now have line dancing Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 to 10:30!

Great local place. Went for country line dancing, didn't eat tgere, but bar service was good.

I have not been to the Brickette for a long time, however a friend of mine & I were driving by after we had dinner in Glen Mills. We could not believe all the cars in the parking lot. I live about 5 minutes away and will be back. We danced the night away! The band was fantastic. I even purchased a tee shirt from the band:) I am looking forward to trying the food. We will be back. This restaurant is all about what Food Networks DDD is all about. Food that you have to discover. I’ve been to this establishment several times to be with friends and to play on the pool tables and shuffle boards in house . Monday though I had the bbq for the first time. It was moist and succulent and super flavorful. Take a ride and be pleasantly surprised.

Happy Hour Burnt Ends are my favorite! Although under new owners, they kept the appeal of a honky-tonk atmosphere, where all ages come to dance, play pool / shuffleboard or listen to music. A hidden gem.

I did not have any of the food. Although I did look at the menu and it had good options. I'll definitely have to try them next time. I did not have to wait long for a bartender to come to us and the music by County Rogue was great! Definitely planning to go back.

West Chester’s little slice of Texas. This place is a VIBE. Quintessential honky tonk. Imagine yourself wearing a Wrangler button down drinking a Lone Star on the corner of the bar listening to Hank Williams Jr. or Johnny Cash, eating perfectly smoked Brisket with cowboy beans or slow cooked collards. Spotless place with little trinkets and photos of 80s/90s nostalgia all over the walls. Cornhole, shuffleboard, pool, this place has it all. TLDR; great beer, great bbq, better vibe.

Was getting ready to take so.e of marijuana medicine and manager told me know way so I said I would ho beyou d there property and take my medicine ene and he said he would not allow me back in. Got kicked out for my plant medicine 💊 willywould laughter this bar for real. Thinking g about calling a lawyer for discrimination. Not that honky tonk bar you think ot I s...or just manage flexing so called ideals, willy would give thumbs down for sure with Merle haggardand the country musicians ♤♡♤♡ Manger takes stuff way out of hands. For real of someone is taking blood pressure meds or anxiety medication, you are in no means in control to let people in or out according to there medications. Really , manager is out of controll!!! First time there since the revamp. Still the same old place but cleaned up. Great local bar . Not trying to sound like an old farm but the music could be turned down just a little . It was hard just to talk to each other . Was still a good time

From out of state and it was fun. Came for the pie eating contest. Ended up eating while we waited and being from the south it was pretty good BBQ for being up north.

Free line dancing. The instructor was awesome! First time visiting this place hope to go back sometime.

The Best Honky Tonk in Dub C!!! The Pickle Rita was so delicious!!! Bartenders are kind, patient, efficient and attentive! The live music is bar none! I can't wait yo go back, and order some food next time!

I won't be making stops there anymore but I had to be transparent with you about something, I left the review when exceptional Foods Google page I feel like you should read it. It's only right before you continue to make purchases from them. My name is Shawn. I left exceptional Foods last week for breaking violations and breaking USDA guidelines. I have reported it to State officials in New Jersey. You're one of my favorite spots to stop at for food you guys are always nice to me and I feel like I got to be honest with yous. A great place for casual get-togethers. My friends and I really enjoyed the space out back with firepits and an outside bar.

This place has the best brisket, this side of the Mississippi. On top of that their baked beans are the best. Hands-down if I was on death row and I had a last meal, it would be this place.

If you haven't been do not hesitate to stop in and say hello. If you are looking for BBQ they are the real deal. Burnt ends come out at 4pm don't be late.

You would not expect this little honky tonk joint to be where it is. You take a couple quick turns off of the main road and your in the woods but feel like you are out in the country. The music acts are top notch and the food matches the atmosphere! The neon lights add to the overall vintage vibe. Grab your boots and be prepared to do some scootin’ here!

Version 2.0 of the Brickette brings all of the charm and ambiance of a real Honky Tonk with increased band scheduling and great service. The outdoor seating area and bar are amazing.

If you like old school mixed with new, this place is great. New owners kept the original look inside (while adding great BBQ) and added a really cool outdoor seating area with fire pits. Great place for family or to chill and have drinks.

The place is cool. The Ambiance is great, the staff is great, and the food is great, BUT everything is so horrendously overpriced. $20 for mixed drinks, $7 for beer. Its out of control. Even the BBQ is overpriced for what it is Place is good, but not that good. Wont be going back.

Very good bbq and sides. We went for lunch, so i can't review music or evening events, but the brisket, ribs, sausage, cornbread, greens, and potato salad were really good. Reminded me of Texas.

Great spot! The updates and clean up by new owners is great. Food and drinks are great, only suggestion would be to make the food hotter when served. Last 2-3 times it was just luke warm. Awesome place though!

Great staff, clean place, large dance floor, fun pool tables. Our third date at The Brickette, played our music choices on their iPad. Would've given 5 stars but the food is good but not great or hot enough. Still, we'll be back!

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Best bbq in PA. Swing by, grab a Shiner and some brisket and leave satisfied.

Had lunch here with a friend and we both really enjoyed what we had. I had smoked chicken and he had brisket. We each had different sides and they were all solid. I don't know how they make their pickles but they were outstanding. I'm not really down with country music so I don't think I'll be coming back at night but definitely a worthwhile place to grab a quick bite to eat. Do not eat here if you are looking for a fancy restaurant, just keep driving till you hit the center of West Chester if you want that. In all honesty it's not really five stars but they get an extra one for nostalgia. My mom used to work here when I was 3 years old and I can still remember standing on a stool playing pinball and eating maraschino cherries out of a little dish.

Special little spot here. Regular ppl looking for a great vibe, live music,a few cold ones, some longboard,pool, pinball, bbq... And when it gets warm it's going to be a game changer 👀

The outside was nice with bon fires. I enjoyed the band and pool tables. However, the people who come to this bar are ridiculous. Starting fights, attitude, and pure ignorance. Bar tenders had some attitude as well. Bouncers were cool.

I went on a Saturday night and the bands were great. Lots of people dancing, a really great time. The line dancing lessons on a Monday with Donkey were really fun too

Dropped $59 for 7 pork ribs, a chicken leg, a scoop of mac & cheese and a scoop of collard greens. It was OK. Won't be back for the food but will go back for karaoke.

Standing room only on opening day. The service did a awesome job keeping up. The food was awesome and the fresh paint is looking good. Clean bathrooms now. Pool tables and working. And I can't wait to go back. Till next time. J

If you like to honky-tonk, this is your place. Staff were really nice and attentive. They have bands and a dance floor. Weather permitting, there are picnic tables to sit in a large outdoor area. I would give 4 stars, but I'm not much for honky-tonk. Let's say 3.5

Bartender not friendly if you don't order alcohol. DJ teaches very basic dances. It would be nice if 2 were basic and 2 were dances that are popular. She also does not tell us the name of the song because we will forget it before we leave. Some of us want to practice at home We asked twice for a popular song/dance to be played. The answer was no. This could be a hopping place.

It was nice to see Karen and David again a few days ago...it's been over 20 years since I worked with them while I was with WCHE radio in West Chester...We stopped in to chat and had some fantastic food including a HUGE helping of fried mushrooms.. Great place.. owners are wonderful people. It was my first time in there and the people were friendly and welcoming. Had a very pleasant time speaking with the owners .. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to play some pool and have a drink. Fries are delicious and they give you a ton of cheese for them when ordered that way. Inexpensive and chill atmosphere.

It was ok here. The bartender lady was polite and funny. My friend and I were totally out of place here, but we made the most of our short time spent here. If you’re a Ciroc person, this place does not have any type of Ciroc in stock, which I wish I would have known before we took the ride there. All in all, it seems like a nice place for certain people. Would I go back, absolutely not. Only because it’s not a place I personally felt welcomed at and got those funny looks and vibes when we we came in. Other than that, the place is ok as is the bartender lady. She was cool. She’s the reason why I’m rating it 4 stars and not 3.
