Loved this bar in the desert. It was an amazing experience. So glad we caught it before the season ended. The band Wyldsky was awesome. We will definitely be back when they reopen in October if we are still in the area. Another big plus is they are very pet friendly for dogs 🐕it is definitely worth the 5 mile drive on semi rough desert terrain to visit!!

This place is great!!! Stuck out in the middle of the desert miles from anywhere, so cool, pack up your quad and sandrail and head out into the desert 🏜️

Food prices were outrageous but very cool atmosphere

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. Cash only and on the expensive side, understandably, due to location and logistics. Two sandwiches, garlic fries and two sodas was $60. Not sure of alcohol costs.

You can see for yourself that in the middle of nowhere is the best place to relax and eat.

We had a great time here. Beautiful scenery, great music, & good! Make sure you have cash. Totally off grid means no cards or arms!

Went for the day and had a great time. The band was a lot of fun and played great songs. We had some beers and relaxed while enjoying the nice weather in the huge outside seating area.

A must go place when in the area. Dusty bumpy road to get there but worth it.

One of the coolest bars I have been to! I would recommend riding in on a side by side if possible! Any type if vehicle can make it out to this amazing venue. Get here early and hang out. My son loved climbing the rocks! We could sit and watch him and the band at the same time! Bring cash!

What a cool and unexpected experience! The view is insane! And the journey there is an experience in itself.I am looking forward to returning! This is a MUST Try! I have a challenge for all of you. I have included a picture of a cactus. The challenge is to find it and get a photo of it.

One of a kind place to visit. 5 mile of rough road going in and same road going out. We came prepared so it was all good. They are only open on weekends from 12p-6pm and they are closed on certain months. Food was delicious and the bar has plenty to drink. Lots of friendly people to talk to. The place is in the middle of the desert and it's very unique. You can ride your ATV around the place. They have live music which added a great atmosphere to enjoy a beer or two with your food. Highly recommended to visit.

Whoever thought a place like this could exist. Learned about the 'bar in the desert' by accident and set out the next day to find it. Road was a little bumpy, but no need for four wheel drive. What an interesting spot! Good food, cold beer and clean restrooms. Place closed when the sn went down. Definitely an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.

Worth the trip to spend the afternoon

Gets very crowded. Unique experience. Cash only! Seems to be short staffed when it’s busy.

Off main road. A lot of off road vehicles. You can make it in a low profile vehicle but it would be very slow as it is a dirt bumpy desert road and it is several miles from paved road. It’s a large place with at least 3 different bars.

It was definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to get there. Next time we will get there earlier and camp out overnight to get two days worth. The food was decent and the band was great. It was a perfect, beautiful sunny day. If you’re in the area and don’t mind going off-road a bit, definitely check this place out. It’s so unique and really cool.

Fun desert bar and fun drive to get to. I didn't try the food, couple bar locations to get drinks. Only complaint was not all toilet stalls had TP.

What a great time we had here. Fun vibe and a great place to relax with a beer and food. Really added to the fun that we flew in on 2 helicopters and no dirt road. Lol

We have heard a lot about this place but we're here in Parker during the week. So we decided take a ride out to see it even though we knew it was closed. We parked at the bottom of the driveway and walked to the barrel with a rod across it and snapped a picture. On returning to our UTV, a white pick up barreled up to us to which the owner jumped out of the truck, yelling obsentaties at us, frightening us for our lives! At the top of his lungs were the f bomb every other word, never have been treated so disrespectful and rudely. He even said, f you, you trump lovers, really? Never will I come and spend a dime at this establishment and would warn all of you to, don't bother!

Don't let the five miles of gravel road deter you from coming ( best to travel in truck or SxS though) multi level bar in middle of desert. Good but pricey food. Nice Band area. Cash only.

Funky desert bar, live music and dance floor. Beverages and food!

Be prepared for a very rough road and side by sides hauling butt. Some of the road is very narrow with tight turns. We were doing 20 mph in our bronco sas and people were trying to run us off the road to get by. Beer is $4.50 per can. We did not eat here Glad we went but itsa one and done for us

Really neat place, so it's worth the drive, but questionable loud band (radio station in the background would be a significant improvement) and $20 sandwiches and $10 fries... Ride back into Parker for a reasonably priced meal.

It's out of this world experience. You'll find yourself merged into a different world of fun and music. Leave your phone and credit cards at home, and bring cash 💸 and a vehicle that can make it to your destination.

Very cool place in The desert. A lot of history and the views are amazing. If you’re visiting and have a 4x4 it should be on your list.

Great experience I would definitely recommend food is great and make sure to look around because the menu is bigger than the first options you see . Try to get there before 3pm so you can fully enjoy the food and drinks everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Just remember alcohol is in the left side of the entrance and food is on the far right side when you enter . Finding everything is somewhat confusing if you have never been because it’s not like other places like walk in and have a hostess or if you just set down they ain’t coming definitely walk up to the window and order and don’t be scared to ask information they are extremely helpful. The meat fries confused me but was easily explained. Wish I had of had time to try the dessert but they was closing early on the day we could go . Also if you have an atv definitely take it but if not the drive through the old road is not to bad I would recommend if you don’t have a 4x4 atleast an suv or an easy terrain driving vehicle. I would suggest if you get drunk hang out and don’t drive back it could be scary lol.

Going once again for the Thanksgiving weekend. This is a Great Place. The backroad in is a blast.

This Bar is a definite go to at least once! We've wanted to go for a while, but since only open weekends October to April, it hadn't worked out til this week. What a blast. The 4ish mile dirt road to get there off the highway is an adventure, thankful we have a jeep. This Bar is off the grid, NO CELL SERVICE, so you won't be checking in on Facebook til later. lol. There are two restaurants both called Niko's. One is BBQ and the other Greek. Tried and highly recommend the BBQ, too full to try the other. The bars are full service, if you drink beer. Mixed drinks are mediocre and wine is out of a box. No wait-staff so go get what you want, when you want it. Then be sure to ♻️ appropriately in one of their many bins! Ample parking since in the middle of nowhere, aka the desert! Also very dog friendly which was a huge plus since we had our pug with us. They have live music and people were dancing, having a blast! They can accommodate a couple hundred guests. They also have a store to buy shirts to remember your visit! Seriously, GO! Super glad we went and we will be back again! VERY COOL!

First, sometimes the desert bar. It was fun. It wasn't a whole lot of people. There didn't eat the food so I couldn't tell you. But since Nico's is doing the food Nico's doing the food the food will be good

Saturday, May 6 and we drive the washboard dirt road a mile before seeing the signs. Posted hours here on Google show open on Saturday & Sunday. If they are... we don't know because the road is so bad we turned around.

The bar is closed from May until October,? if that's not correct someone can correct me.

Do not miss this unique desert experience! Runs on solar and built one project at a time on an old mine, the Desert Bar is a must when you are in the Parker or Havasu area. 30 min rough, dusty but safe drive off of the highway in N Parker gets you there. Bar and food offerings are simple and tasty. Bring cash, no credit taken, just like the old days! Come early to get seats and try to go when bands are playing. You will love the enginuity, creativity and rustic artfulness of this special place.

Long bumpy ride on a truck but so worth it . Really a bar with good live music in the desert. This must be the epitome of "build it and they will come' !!

Visited yesterday, wasn’t too crowded and had a good band. Great food from Niko’s. Had expanded since last time we were there. Now 2 sets of restrooms. Very clean and have friendly staff.

Great venue. Very hard to get to...gravel road, bumpy and rocky. Don't bring your car. At least 4 miles.

Five miles of primitive road leads to the place. The worst part was sharing the road (in a street vehicle) with off-road vehicles driven very fast and throwing gravel. Despite this, the saloon was very crowded. A band was playing that was probably good but too loud if you wanted to converse. However, tables were available sufficiently distant from the band to allow conversation. The food was good but, not unexpectedly, on the pricey side though the orders were large. Some visitors were exploring the place, climbing on the rocks at their peril as the pathways to do so we're unimproved. In summary, it's a place to say you've been to, but for me, only once.

What an adventure!! The road in is heavily washboarded and has some "fun" spots. Sure, you can do it in a car, but you'll wish you didn't. If you see a line behind you, please pull over so we can all pass. This place is huge with 2 bars (at least one full bar) plus 2 food stand options. We got there at noon, the parking lot was half full. Lines at every stand. Hard to find shaded seating with dogs but if it's just a few people you shouldn't have a problem! Live music is good, people were dancing! The views out here are gorgeous, the entire place is wonderful! Paid $24 for strawberry funnel cake and garlic fries. Was $7.50 for a champagne mimosa, I passed. We brought water (and you should, too!) What a party!

Food is expensive and not that good. But overall a fun place

Rough road, but doable in any regular car. Prices are higher as expected for remoteness. Excellent fries. Could use a few local craft brew selections at the bar. Only cash accepted. Live music is nice. Views are nice too. Worth going once for sure!

A bar in the desert. Great place to just sit, take in the views, listen to some music and have a drink or 2. We had some food as well. All was great at the “Bunker Bar”. Be ready for the bumpy ride in, unless of course you have an ATV. Great time for a Sunday afternoon. Also limited hours so be sure to check hours before you head out.

The coolest bar out 5 miles through the Mohave Dessert from Parker Arizona! By cool I mean cool place with a hot atmosphere, great staff, tasty food and cold drinks all wrapped together with many seating areas and surrounded by the sounds of great live music. A must visit for decent height vehicles and on/off road buggies alike. Working your way along a winding somewhat rough at times road is well work the effort. Just go!

Cool place but do yourself a favor and use your off-road rig because the road in is rough... food and drinks were good but bring your wallet and it is cash only.

This is one of the most unusual sites for a bar in the desert! Good music, good food and drinks. The adventure begins driving on an old mining road with beautiful views! This venue is primarily outside with covered areas. Lots of happy people!

Great weekend destination. Only open Saturday and Sunday 12 to 6 but well worth the trip. Local bands play which gives this place great atmosphere. Get there early because it fills up quickly.

Decor is very interesting an old mine converted to Bar/food court. Recommend 4wheel drive even though the road was mostly graded there are some rough spots.

Hell getting there and all drinks have a 1 oz pour. Be sure to bring plenty of money $$$$. If you get there in one piece stick with the beer, at lease you can get your money's worth.

It was our first time visiting The Desert Bar outside of Parker, AZ. The band from Hollywood was great! We got a flat tire on our Ford F-150 4x4 from the 5 mile long primitive rocky road so be prepared if you don't have an OHV. It was still worth the trip!

What a cool place to visit! The food was great (albeit pricey), the live music was good, and the venue itself is fun, unique, and gives you plenty to see. It is a long dusty ride to get there, though, that requires all wheel drive at a minimum! I look forward to going back again next year.

Very bumpy ride in our jeep but we saw a few passenger cars out there as well! Great band Agent 18 and the gyro from Nikkis was really good. Margaritas were passable but not great. Good beer choices but slim wine choices. Awesome atmosphere with TONS of seating areas. Loved it.
