So glad that this is here! My girlfriend is gluten free and has an egg allergy, so having all of these gluten free options as well as some vegan ones was amazing. She was so happy looking at everything they had, and I loved the sausage biscuit. Reasonably priced as well! We got breakfast for 2 for $14 which I’m not at all mad at.

I stumbled on this place and love their bakery items. I was surprised how good their pop-tarts are considering they are gluten free. I also love their coffee!

They made the sweetest little cake for us to celebrate a baby on the way! I’ve also tried their cupcakes, oatmeal cream pies, and cinnamon rolls, and they are all amazing. These people seriously know how to bake their gluten free goodies, everything is so cute and yummy!!

Always a great experience. I go here honestly almost everyday for something! I recommend their chicken salad, and paninis and their cupcakes and cookies and pound cakes- those don’t taste GF at all! Highly recommend this place!!❤️ Edit- i just read through reviews and it saddens me cause there are a good amount of bad reviews. GF is hard and EXPENSIVE to make because everything gf is market up even for them to buy to make us GF stuff. No not everything they make tastes 10/10 but if you go to a normal non gf bakery it would be the same, some items are AMAZING and other are ehh. For example im not a fan of benefits pop tart. I am just grateful a business owner has a passion to help those out with allergies, my life as someone with celiacs would be a lot more sad without benefit your life. I appreciate all they do.

The bakers here sure know what they're doing! They make amazing gluten free sweets and even have a grocery section of gluten free selection. My partner ordered my birthday cake here and they made a special accommodation because "the idea was so cute" and the cake turned out absolutely adorable and delicious! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to help. No better gluten free bakery in Knoxville!

Stopped in while I was visiting (weekdayquick trip). It was breakfast time and I really wanted a gluten free sandwich or something savory, not sweet. They only make breakfast items on the weekend! Pictures are from my first review a few years ago.

I have been gluten free since 2012 and first discovered this company when they were at their Campbell Station location. The new location on Kingston Pike is cute, convenient and has increased the amount of products they make and sell. We love the chicken and broccoli casserole in the freezer case. You can order one if there are none in the case. We also like their everything bagels. This is our go to place. Their bakery case is impressive!

We found this place just 5 mins from our hotel and had a fabulous experience!! We normally come through on a Sunday and miss it but this time we came through on a Tues and SO glad we did! They were fabulous and patient and offered to warm up our cinnamon rolls. They were aware of the various restrictions we have with the kids and mindful of how they bagged up our treats to go. Definitely going to try to make our stopovers in Knoxville have a morning other than a Sunday from now on.

This place is a blessing for those with food allergies! The foods are always AMAZING and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Not only do they have fresh items, but they also have a variety of shelf stable and frozen foods. The lemon pond cake is my all-time favorite, but there are so many options to choose from.

Amazing place and food. My only regret to coming here are the prices and I live 30 minutes away. I got 5 small things and it cost me $30. A single cookie or cupcake can run over $5!!

We are very appreciative of the wonderful gluten-free goodies from Benefit Your Life. My husband has celiac disease. We have purchased many of the different treats, and they have all been delicious. We are especially fond of the oatmeal cream pies and the buttermilk coconut pie. We met 30 years ago this week, and both ordered coconut pie that night at Peterson’s in Mount Adams in Cincinnati. To celebrate, I ordered a coconut pie from BYL, and it is so so good, and made our celebration special! We have also had the quiche and coffee inside the restaurant, and it was very good.

Traveled to Knoxville from Bedford Va for a concert and happened to find this on google while searching for places safe for me (a celiac) to eat and we traveled the extra 20 minutes away from home before we left the area entirely Friday morning to get some goodies because I have never been anywhere like this being from a smaller town. We were greeted with smiling faces and knowledgeable employees, everything we had was absolutely Delicious, I wanted to buy one of everything if I am being honest. Whenever Im back in Tennessee, whether it be, Knoxville, Gatlinburg, or passing through I will travel the extra miles to make sure I stop EVERY time. Thank you guys!

I stopped in to check the place out and find a cup of coffee to go with the sweets I had bought. From the outside this shop resembles a coffee house and bakery vibe, at least so I thought anyway. Surprisingly, after ordering coffee I was handed an empty cup and a lid and pointed toward a thermos. Just unexpected I guess.

Stopped by Benefit Your Life during our honeymoon as someone with celiac disease. I have never seen such an amazing selection of gluten free items. I was so happy to see it was a dedicated gluten free facility. The cupcakes and cookies are amazing! I love that they have both fresh baked goods and frozen goods avilable to purchase! Quiche is also available, which I would have love to try, but I'm allergic to eggs.

The food is pretty good. There is a selection of retail products, which are a bit higher priced than what they can be found elsewhere. The bakery and deli items are similar prices to anywhere else. Doesn't taste just like the real deal, but very close. I will be back.

Drove out to BYT trying to find a stand in for Momma Cs which unfortunately had to close for family health issues. BYT is a clean and friendly restaurant. We both ordered panini's one ham and one turkey along with a mixed berry scone. Each panini had one slice of selected meat topped with spinach and tomato slice. To be honest you could not taste the difference between ham and turkey, both tasted like a BLT. The scone lacked flavor and seemed under baked. Miss the apple fritters and turkey panini's at Cs. The search continues. Again very nice staff and clean place to eat we'll stop in if out this way and try different items though we agree the food today doesn't warrant a stand alone 25 minute trip.

Great diversity for special needs- items are clearly labeled - dairy, gluten, egg free or nut friendly bc this is not a nut free facility. I had gluten free quiche that was pretty good. Answers a out ingredients were quickly referred to someone who knew. And in general service was friendly and extremely patient with our large order. About ordering tea: the focus here is definitely coffee. But there are some single serving loose-leaf teas packaged in single brew filters. You purchase the package and they give you hot water in a paper cup. A good solution, but just not enough available for our party. Larger packages of loose leaf were available for purchase, but without an infuser or teapot that didn't work for us either.

I'm not GF but I was curious about this place. The staff was great but the things I bought were SO dry and strangely dense in texture. Not appealing. Worse, everything is SO EXPENSIVE. I don't know how people who must live a GF life can afford to do so. The cupcakes were ok. Cookies fine. But it's SO hard to find this place. Such small signage. The cinnamon rolls were so dense, nothing like a perfectly fluffy, doughy, divine Cinnabon. These cinnamon rolls were so expensive yet lacking real cinnamon taste, no gooey frosting, just such a disappointment.

Got a bit of a shock today. Went into BYL with a pizza pick-up (to take home) from Pizza Kitchen next door, picked out the items I wanted from BYL, took them to the counter to pay and was told I couldn’t buy the items until I took my pizza out of the store. What the heck??? Naturally I didn’t buy the items. Not your friendly Tennessee vibe here. I guess the blessing is that I’ll save money on not buying overpriced, mediocre food anymore.

Disappointing. Very hit-or-miss, but mostly miss. Their pound cakes are truly terrific, but most of the other things are just horrible. I recently got a lemon bar parfait and black Forrest cake from here. Opened them immediately in the car to try, and they were entirely inedible. I don’t know if they were sitting out too long, but the parfait tasted plastic-like (which was super strange) and only subtly lemon, and the cake was comparable to a rubber sponge with questionable frosting. The Cherry compote was gummy, with bits that had a texture that was similar to curdled milk, and none of it tasted like cherry- which was confusing, because it LOOKED like cherry pie filling from the can. Their curry chicken salad is FANTASTIC, however, so I may only recommend that if I continue to be disappointed with their pastry selections. Any selection will be excessive in price. But other allergens are well-labeled and they have an allergen binder. They do have packaged products sold in the back of the store that are not available in most stores, so there is THAT bonus.

They are always so friendly and have such great options for so many baked goods. Love having a dedicated gluten free place in town i can always trust! -edit 2 years later. This used to be my favorite place to get gluten free goods. Since about a year ago things have been off. Food started tasting bland and certain foods are different like the panini meat used to be so good now it tastes cheap. Which id rather pay more for quality. Just sad cause most things i loved are just not good anymore, they lack flavor majorly.
