They need a bigger building. The food is great it’s just the wait time.

Off the beaten path and nestled just outside the college campus the Bethune Grill is a hidden gem! We read about it on a food page and the wings are the bomb diggity!! Not large but meaty.....crispy....the honey sauce will give you sweet dreams.

The customer service was very unprofessional. All the workers had attitudes and displayed them outright.

Great food! Down to earth folks and service. No frills.

I always come to this place when I’m in Daytona, but I was really disappointed today. I ordered a 12pc wing/fries only to get back to my hotel room, open my box and it’s only 8 wings/fries. I called back several times to make them aware of their mistake, but no answer. I was not pleased with the service today.

Ordered 20 hot wings, got home and had 14. Called, not friendly phone service. Would had to have driven back Twenty minutes one way and then wait twenty minutes for 6 wings. Very tasty wings, pretty small, but tasty. Won't be back....

Its 2024 and they don’t have online ordering or take phone orders on the weekends. Be so for real.

I’ve been in the chicken wing industry for over 25 years now so I have plenty of knowledge on any type of wings you can think of. These are the best I had in my life hands down. Crispy, tender, flavorful, everything you want in a wing. If somebody doesn’t like the wings here it’s not the wings it’s them.

This place never disappoints. Until I arrive and they are closed.

So upon suggestion I was introduced to this authentic restaurant. Its simplicity exceeds its expectations as a historic point in the history of the area and school. Quite busy during the weekends making the food a little rushed. Wait times are anywhere from 15 minutes up to an hour and a half. I love wing spots so ordering 2 8pcs with fries 1 plain and the other honey hot. Along side a pork chop sandwich and 12 pc buffalo. Wings are lightly floured and seasoned fried hard to perfection . My wait time was way longer than I first expected as the customers poured in extending the line outside. Light rain did not stop regulars from getting the phenomenal wings. The Wing flavors are buffalo, honey and hot honey. Personally they ok for where they are and the price. Truly a college students budget. I do hope they come up with new flavors

I heard about the wings were really good here so we came to check them out. The first bite tasted like the wings had very little seasoning, the fries were totally soggy and limp with no salt on them. I won't be back. The staff was awesome though.

Chicken wings were amazingly delicious, we had to wait an hour to get our food because they were soooo busy. The waiting area was not to bad, it was full because people had wait on their food.

Coming from Baltimore , I’ve been in central Florida for a year now and I’ve been all over Orlando , up and down the entire coast from st Augustine to Melbourne and it has been challenging to find excellent wings that reminds me of home. Buthene Grill is that #1 spot. Will not hesitate to return for more wings !

Been going here for years usually I order large amounts hundred or more they are the best wings in town, however went there ordered an 8 count and only got 6 . Other than that 5 stars all day

Def worth the 45-minute wait! Well organized staff that functioned amazingly well with a line that was out the door and halfway down the sidewalk block! Wings, fried shrimp, and potato salad were perfectly flavored and on point!

Food was bussin, the time I walked in was greeted and felt so welcome. I drove over an hour for this meal And got great food and great service. The strawberry lemonade had me upset I got a small. Next time will be getting a large. Hot honey sauce was finger lickin good 😊

The wings are amazing. We came here on a weekend and it was so packed we could’t get in. We came back on a weekday and we got right in. It was worth the return trip and we had their legendary wings. The best wings we’ve had in Florida so far. It’s definitely not a place for everyone but when you know you know.

Very cheerful happy Got my wings early..... and they were as always the best. 40 wings for 3 ...even put container wrapped and on top of newspaper. Great idea Thank you everyone there. I eat Bethune on the regular & yall have yall good days & bad days but today it was one of those bad days it’s just like the sauce wasn’t good it tasted like old grease and the skin on some of chicken was extremely hard and others chewy. Fries good as usual and bread just fine. It was just the chicken and sauce that threw me off.

Went a few minutes during closing and ordered a 15pc wings with fries and drove all the way home and saw they forgot my fries but asked me for ketchup 😥 spent about $20 for wings and sauce only…

I will keep it simple, best wings I have had....EVER. BWW and Wingstop are nothing compared to these. They are small, juicy, flavorful, crispy wings that will be hard to beat. Also, customer service is top notch, love the hospitality. Will def come back very soon!

WORST "wings" EVER !!! Not even whole wings, some pieces as small as my thumbnail !! Teriyaki just drizzled on them, not even all of them. Mostly burnt & hard. Will never ever order anything from here again.

The food was great, loved the family atmosphere as well. It's always a good feeling to see people laughing and joking with each other, food is supposed to be happy and bring people together and that's what they do. I see why their rated as highly as they are! If I'm ever back in Daytona I'm stopping in again!

Love this place!! It's one of my stops whenever I visit Daytona. The portion of food is reasonable and cooked fresh to order.

My family has been eating chicken wings from here for at least 20 years they are the best. We drive about 25 miles to get these wings.

The wings tasted delicious and the fries had a good crisp. The fries were not seasoned, but thats my fault. There were little cups with seasoning for the fries and I didn't grab one as I wasn't aware thats what they were for until I was home eating. Nonetheless it's a good little spot and I recommend going there. I got 5 honey and 5 buffalo.

Walk in ladies at the register were very rude. My family and I came to town to watch the game and upon arrival to the restaurant they were not welcoming. Food was an 4/10 fries weren’t seasoned nor did they mention we would need the seasoning . Wings were not the best and dinner roll had moled. Overall experience was a 3/10

Seriously I pick them over a wingstop , Buffalo Wild Wings , wing house! Taste and price wise! … but it got to be this location I did go to another Bethune and wasn’t as good as this one🏆

I absolutely adore and crave these whether or not, there’s a line it’s definitely worth waiting for. It’s nice to see my family owned business and a dream grow so big. This place is busy but the women that works behind the counter are cool under pressure for sure!! no sauce compares to their honey sauce one of a kind!

A friend found out I was going to be in Daytona Beach and insisted I go to the Bethune Grill for their "Honey Chicken Wings"! And I did. I opted for the wings, because I had an hours drive and didn't want any sides to be cold by the time I got home. It was all I could do not to eat just one on my way home. When I finally got to sit down and eat, OMG those wings were so good I almost ate my fingers!🤣 I will be stopping by the Bethune Grill on my next trip to Daytona Beach. These wings were so good i had to order a second helping! We got a tip from an Uber driver that they put their own house sauce on if you don't ask for any sauce. It has a nice flavor with a little kick in it... so good! Dipped my fries in the sauce as well... so good! It's like i don't want any of it to go to waste! My friends cousins photo was on the wall when we walked in... very unexpected but really cool! The photo looks great! I'd really like to eat there again, but i don't see myself ever going back to Daytona

I was introduced to this holy grail about 2 years ago, and have never been once been disappointed! I live in Kissimmee and take the hour+ ride every time with no regrets.
