I was looking for a good burger place and this one had good reviews. It's set back from the road which is a benefit. I'm visiting the area, so I have had restaurants all week. This was the best value for my money so far. I had the Cowboy Burger combo and later the large Moose Tracks Shake. The Combo comes with any size fountain drink. The fountain allows for 1 free refill. The women running the place were very nice and polite.

I got the bourbon bacon burger, and oh wow, was it good. That sauce was amazing. The burger was so good!

The food really is good and it's a good price. And the staff is very pleasant. The atmosphere isn't all that great just a bunch of tables and chairs. But we didn't care cuz we were doing takeout.

1st time here. Tucked away in Simpson Ferry Crossing, this place is a gem! It's clean and the staff is super friendly. A great selection of burgers, hot dogs and chicken are on the menu. The burgers we had were delicious. I'll need to come back to try the hot dogs and the chicken!

Run Forest Run! The food is low quality and the cook is incompetent. Don't waste you money. Wonder how they are still in business with the garbage they serve.

So my wife and I were looking for a place to eat we haven't before we were driving seen BIG Rays from the road and decided to turn around now this place isn't in the best location to be seen but it one those holes in the wall service was great to start super welcoming they are definitely there to serve there customers that huge for me made me feel like I was ment to be there. Now let's talk food I'm sure that's what everyone wants to hear about the portions where huge the food made fresh wasn't some frozen junk I got a cheese burger with pickles ketchup and onions with a side of bacon cheddar fries wife got a hot dog with sauerkraut and fries the fries are fresh cut another big win I left feeling full to the max they many other special burgers and a ton of other food something for everyone go give this family veteran own business a try you won't regret it BIG RAYS IS HUGE WIN

This was the first time we tried this place. The food was amazing! We got two different kinds of burgers and fresh cut fries and they were all wonderful! This will be a new favorite of ours.

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere makes it a great lunch stop.

The milkshakes are so good they just need more flavors but it's good,hot dogs are delicious very flavorful and plump pleasant atmosphere and great customer service

Just went to Big Ray's for the first time and so glad I did my wife and absolutely loved our burgers one of the best burgers I've had period the hand cut fries were delicious!! You definitely have some new customers and I will spread the word for people who don't don't what a gem Big Ray's is..can't wait to go back!! Customer service was also outstanding!!

This is the best hotdog joint I've been to in years. And you get your monies worth with the portions of food items. Staff is super friendly. We will definitely be back

Can't say enough good things about this place. The food is great, prices are reasonable, there are lots of nice "little touches" (eco-friendly packaging, etc.), and everyone is beyond friendly. You can tell the owner treats his staff well, too. Stop by if you're in the mood for a filling meal -- the burgers taste like an ideal version of what you might get at a cookout. 5/5 overall.

Enjoyed the Big Ray Salad, but the chopped lettuce didn't taste fresh to me. Loved the addition of fries on top. Employees were very friendly.

Staff greeted us as we walked in. The restaurant was clean and is a no frills place. Seating inside as well as on the outside deck. Burgers and fries were great! Grilled and fried, respectively, just right. They also serve milkshakes, which we will have to go back another time because we were too full.

Came here because of the reviews and was not disappointed. The burgers were top notch, and you could absolutely tell that they were fresh made and never frozen. There's a bunch of choices for toppings and they'll swap toppings around if something on the menu isn't exactly what you're in the mood for. The hot dogs are big, tasty, and also have a lot of options for toppings. The chili is homemade and delicious. The bacon cheese fries were also very fresh and delicious. We're looking forward to coming back and trying just about everything else on the menu.

Best burger in town for basically the same price as fast food and cheaper than the 'gourmet' burger restaurants. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was fantastic.

Great place, food was good, nice comfortable atmosphere, clean dining area and bathrooms. We came here with our 2 large families after the Camp Hill Parade. We also had our 2 large dogs. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and helped us with everything we needed, including a cut-up grilled chicken and pup cup for our dogs. We will definitely be going back! We felt like family here.

We went on a Friday around 7 PM. Everyone was friendly and the food was ok. The restaurant does close at 8 which seems kind of early especially for a Friday. We dined in and as we ate the workers began cleaning the area and stacking chairs probably close to 7:40 if not sooner. They had taken the soda machine apart to clean- which is great but we weren’t getting refills at that point. Another couple came in at 7:50 probably not realizing they close soon but they were promptly told they were closing soon. They didn’t walk out so I’m assuming they did place an order to go. I realize everyone wants to be done with a job, but if you are OPEN until 8, be open. Otherwise close at 7:30 so you can walk out the door by 8. Or maybe no dine-in after 6. 🤷🏻‍♀️ For that reason alone it was a bummer.

One of the best burgers I've had, fresh and delicious!

I was craving a hamburger and I was not disappointed! The burger itself was decadent (if a burger could be described as such..) flame kissed quarter pound Angus beef, and in the Hell to Pay toppings-spicy house spread, American cheese, jalapeños, caramelized onion and Applewood smoked bacon with a dusting of cayenne pepper. It was no where near what I'd classify as "hell to pay" but definitely delicious in the most satisfying way. My only gripe is those nondescript buns really detract from the beauty of a well- executed burger! Maybe toasted and buttered would help? The lady behind the counter is sweet as pie, and I would believe fun to hang out with...the place is nothing special to look at...only in thar respect could the Restaurant Impossible guy help out....well, maybe with the bun issue!

I drove past this place for months. I stopped in today for a hot dog. No knowing the size I ordered two chili dogs. The food was amazing! The dogs were big. I will be back to try other things.

I went in on a rainy afternoon to see what the buzz was about. Definitely worth the time and money. I had the Bacon Bourbon Burger and Suicide Fries. Chefs 👨‍🍳 kiss. Everything was made fresh while you wait. The fries had me sweating and tearing up lol. All under $15.

Burgers were delicious, and so were the fresh cut fries! The lovely lady at the counter was so sweet and welcoming. We will definitely be ordering again!!

Been here for lunch.. burger was fantastic. Spent $15 for 2 bacon cheese burgers.. the same thing cost $30 at "5 Guys". So yea; go here instead.

Not gonna lie, the moment rays meat hit my mouth I was in love. But our love can never blossom because when I came here with my wife and step son for lunch, my fries were undercooked. Will have to ask for them crispy next time. Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives.

I didn't even know this place existed! We drove by hundreds of times and I never saw it. A coworker recommended it so my husband and I tried it out for lunch and I'm so glad we did! Service was friendly and helpful, food was delicious and hot. We went back again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and they did not disappoint. Same great service and tasty food.

Ordered ahead. Food was packaged and ready in the specified time. Burgers seemed hand made and and cooked well - not “well-done” like most prepackaged burgers at other restaurants. Give it shot if you are looking for burgers and fries.

Let’s be honest, if you go to McDonald’s and get two quarter pounder combos, you’re going to pay over $20. Why do that when you can come here, pay the same price, and get VASTLY superior food? The burgers and fries were fantastic and the service was very friendly! I look forward to coming back again soon!

Everything we got was phenomenal, burgers, hotdogs, fries, milkshake, all great. The prices are very affordable, and the food is high quality. There’s plenty of options for everyone. Employees were also very friendly and kind, we will definitely be back again!

I've heard nothing but good things so I had to try it for myself! I went with the Hell To Pay Burger 🍔 and made it a combo with fries and a drink 🍟🥤Hell To Pay burger was delicious, but not too hot/spicy (I like hot/spicy foods). I'll definitely be back to try other burgers and dogs!

Stopped by here on the way to visit family in the area and my nephew wanted a cheeseburger for lunch. Staff welcomed us and gave us the rundown since it was the first time there and really had a lot of friendly vibes and seemed very happy to see us. Ordered 3 burgers and a chicken wrap, all coming out around the same time. Burgers were cooked to perfection with a good deal on toppings and a big load of fries with the combo. Staff really connected with my 3YO nephew and made him super happy. Atmosphere is really nice with a small business feel to it and lots of space. Only negative was the floor looked a bit worn, and looked a bit unclean, but it’s worth coming here.

Such a fantastic hole in the wall! We had their hot dog with the works and added sauerkraut, and it was amazing. The service was great too with very friendly and thoughtful staff. We'll definitely be returning!

Stopped here on the way back home and was blown away. Really good burgers, with great balance of toppings and flavours. Onion rings were the best I’ve had in a looooong time. The kids also enjoyed their meals. Friendly service and clean bathrooms and chill atmosphere. Will definitely come for a visit again the next time we drive south!

I got food on Friday for a couple coworkers and as usual was not disappointed. The food is always hot and tastes great! The lady out front is always a pleasure as well. Thank you for being awesome!!

This place is a good bang for the buck. The workers were friendly and the food was ok. When we walked in the lady at the counter was very friendly, even offered our child an apple sauce. Right before we got our order another couple got there's and they were suppose to get onion rings but got fries instead. The staff did make it right and gave them fries on the house and got there onion rings as well. When we got our order I got the cheesy bacon fries....but they forgot the cheese and bacon....took them up and yes they fixed it. But that is 2 mess ups right in a row and it just doesn't look good. The staff made it right both times but still not acceptable. Fresh cut fries were very good and my wife's burger she said was decent. My chicken sandwich was a Little on the rubbery side but still edible just kind of lacked on flavor. All in all it's a cheap eats kind of place. It's nothing fancy and nothing to brag about. But if your looking to stuff your face on a budget it's not a bad stop.

Got a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was great besides the chicken which was rubbery and dry. It was clearly over cooked and I couldn’t eat the sandwich.

After searching areas best hamburger places we found this listing and decided to try it and both my wife and I thinks it’s the best hamburger place we went to and we eat out a lot

We wanted a good ole burger with lots of flavor and boy, oh, boy, did we ever find it here at Big Ray's! Perfection at its finest! The servings are big so if you walk away from here still hungry it is your own fault! The wait staff and cooks are top notch! We will definitely be coming!

My son wanted wings and milkshakes so we found this place. It’s a casual diner vibe with lots of kid friendly options. My son got the chicken basket tossed in spicy garlic parm and a chocolate milkshake. I got a grilled chicken salad. Very good! Would definitely bring my kids back another time.

Becky was an amazing woman who really took care of us and every customer that came through the door. The chef could really cook a burger! And the fries were amazing and reminded my husband of boardwalk fries. Best part: FRESH! Tasted amazing and will definitely be stopping here again.

Found big rays after searching “food camp hill” on google. I’m glad we checked this spot out. The guy behind the counter was super friendly, and the service was an A+. I had the cowboy burger with fries , and my girlfriend had the hotdogs with fries. I also had to try the cheesy chicken bacon fries. The portion sizes were generous, and the food came out piping hot fresh off the grill. The cowboy burger was juicy and a good size 10/10. The two hotdogs and fries were enough to fill anyone up, my girlfriend said if she knew the hotdogs were that big she would have only gotten one 10/10. The loaded fries were phenomenal 10/10. Highly recommend big rays, and will be back for sure.

First time visiting. Food was even better than expected. Cheese fries were great. Chicken bacon ranch wrap was good. But the chili cheese dogs were amazing.

Never realized this place was here, but found it on Google. I saw the great reviews so my husband & I gave it a try. We both loved the hot dogs with chili & cheese (though be warned it's messy! Lol) & the fries were good too. Super friendly staff! Only thing lacking is the atmosphere which wasn't terrible but I get the feeling they could use more business to help tidy the place up.

Food was good. Service was great. The person taking my order explained the menu and portion sizes very well and did so happily. Everyone working seemed happy to be there.

Hot dogs and cheese fries were pretty good, and the servers were super friendly, but I can't tell what vibe they are looking for. They have a huge outside deck, but one part is roped off and in pretty rough shape. Parking lot is weird, too. But we will back to try something other than hotdogs

Stopped in today for the first time and was immediately greeted by several employees! The vast menu was displayed on the huge blackboard wall, and also on the counter. Many selections of burgers, hot dogs , wings and chicken fingers and french fry baskets with good stuff added to them, like chili, cheese and crab. "Holy cow, what do I order", I thought to myself. I settled for the Mac and cheese burger combo with fries and a soft drink. My lady chose the mushroom and swiss burger and a water. Her burger was tasty and topped with sauteed mushrooms and swiss cheese with steak sauce added, and my tasty burger was topped with Mac and cheese with bacon. Let me tell you, they were great! The staff again was very friendly and accommodating to anything you could need. It is a nice open restaurant, with roomy handicap accessible restrooms, and a huge outside seating area as well. Good prices,great food, great service. Highly recommended. You might just see us there.Oh, did I mention the French fries? Delicious!
