Can get loud. Can be a long wait. But the food was really good! No complaints.

Yesterday we ate at the Ohio Tavern in Ohio, New York and had an amazing experience! Our waiter Gavin was phenomenal! He was attentive and thorough, best of all He had a smile on his face the whole time! We thought the service was fantastic. The food was delicious. The menu was very expensive everything from a burger and a sandwich to chicken riggies to salmon to fiddleheads! It was a great outing. I recommend the homemade pickles. Highly recommend you check out this restaurant!

I had the broiled fish fry and my husband had wings and pork belly ends, delicious. The carrot cake is amazing. Excellent service and great food, will definitely be back.

Rustic family style atmosphere and great food with huge portions!! Nestled in the Adirondack Park, you get a nice view of nature and great fresh made food. The prime rib was melt in my mouth and companion had the garbage plate. Both were huge and meant lots of leftovers. The sweet pickles and bread are a nice starter. I asked for fruity wine and the server picked an awesome pineapple flavored one. Dinner was $65 and finding such good reasonably priced food and wonderful service is rare.

Most amazing fish fry I've ever had an we had a sweet waitress I would absolutely go again in a heart beat the pickle fries were the best!

Love it here! We've dined in a few times. Mostly order take out. Usually get burgers. One of the best burgers you'll ever have. Recently tried the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was to die for! Huge portions. They never disappoint. Highly recommend!

If I could give this gem 10 stars in every category I would! The menu is fresh and creative yet carries the old standards that qualify as comfort food for the soul! The owners, the staff- 10 stars! Take the drive. Tip: don't sleep on the fried green tomatoes- I literally think about this dish constantly ❤️

A little out of the way but if you have a craving for great chicken and biscuits this is the place! Friendly wait staff and awesome desserts. Can't wait to go back.

Friendly, local, no beers on tap but that’s ok, delicious food, local menu. Portions are huge and delicious. Homemade blue cheese was really good. Could use some light background music. You feel like part of the family. Thanks for having us! Great service.

This seemed to be more of a bar with a large dining room attached. The bartender who doubled as our server was very sweet and our food was delicious, if you're in the area stop have a few drinks and a meal, you will not regret it!

They serve burgers, sandwiches, wings for lunch and they have a decent dinner menu. They often have specials and feature different menu selections. Quesadillas were also a special which looked fantastic

Service was excellent. The soup of the day was a squash bisque and was phenomenal!

Stopped in for afternoon lunch/dinner. We had fried onions sliced with sauce and horseradish sauce, excellent! My wife had their tenderloins over mashed potatoes, large portion and again excellent taste! I had their O H 10, a tavern ham, Swiss cheese with caramelled onions and honey mustard sauce, with side of sweet potatoes, and again excellent! Really enjoyed the experience and the time spent there. Definitely going back, the food was absolutely the greatest and the staff was friendly and helpful! Love this place!

This places rocks,it,s an awesome place to eat and drink. They have a wide range of beers to choose from. The bar is well stocked with whiskeys or wine as well. The menu is pack with many types of food. And they have lots of specials listed daily.

At first was there was only one waitress and it was very slow, when the new waitress in took over it was great. The other poor girl did her best trying the handle the whole place.

I've been to Ohio Hotel twice in last 2 weeks. Very pleasant atmosphere.. excellent menu..food was wonderful both times. Did Mexican Wednesday night and it was great. The ride there is pleasant especially if you love that Adirondacks.

Ive spent a lifetime looking for the perfect Hot Roast Beef sandwich, and I found it at the Ohio Tavern. Enormous, and delicious from start to finish, it is simply killer. The French Onion soup is also off the chain. Best French Onion soup ever.

Food was fantastic, service was excellent Lily. But was disappointed as there was a group of people that had a reservation for 6:45 and it was an hour later they still had not been seated. They ended up leaving and going somewhere else.😢😢

I really miss the sauerbraten, and don't even get me started on their "Mexican" night. What are they thinking calling that Mexican food? It's terrible.... If anyone from the Ohio tavern would like, I'd gladly go into detail on how to fix your Mexican food... I can even give you commercial kitchen recipes. That being said, I still really like everything else. Great food... Just not on Mexican night.

It was my first time there and won't be my last for sure. Omg the food was amazing. Portions were big. Utica greens were one of the best I ever had and it's in the middle of no where in a beautiful cozy setting.

Wow! Great big portions of delicious food, especially the Friday fish fry and prime rib on the weekends. Satisfying meals are complimented with savory side dishes at prices that won't make you break open your piggy bank. The bar and restaurant staff is always friendly and helpful, and numerous customers return often to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere for dinners and a few drinks. Snowmobilers are welcome through the winter months, and we have had large family parties there again and again. Reservations are recommended in advance for those who wish to share in this great dining experience. Bring a big appetite, and you will probably leave with leftovers. Recent management of this hotel is the best since Reuters owned and operated it as the Hotel Ohio years ago.

Have been to the O.T. numerous times. Its always the go to place if we don't feel like driving any distance. They have great food and good service. Sometimes you have a bit of a wait even if you have reservations but it's worth it. Very friendly and can get quite loud. Lol

I'm from Ohio and visiting and had the best experience. Bartender whose name I didn't get, was beyond awesome and personable. She only works on Sunday usually so getting her tonight was a fluke

Waitresses were more concerned about their iPhones than serving. Guests had to mop up a spilled drink then get the attention of the waitress to take away the napkins used. Prices on the high side.
