Prior to our arrival, communication via the winery’s Facebook page was responsive in a timely manner! We stopped on the way to our weekly summer rental in the area and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of the winery is serene and relaxing. Staff was extremely accommodating to our family with young kids! They even let our 5 year old daughter feed the fish and had a booster seat for our 1 year old. We sat outside on the porch as it was a beautiful day and their grounds are beautiful, but the inside has a super cozy vibe. We tried a wine flight, local beer and charcuterie. All were delicious! There was also a food truck that we enjoyed. We look forward to visiting again!

Absolutely amazing!!!!! The flights are great, the place is beautiful and the service is hands down the best so far. The flights are a must try, each of the wines we tried were amazing. We tried two flights, one was the premium and the other was the classic. We also had their charcuterie board which I have to say was awesome a perfect addition with the flights. They also have wines for sale and winery merchandise as well.

Great experience, hidden gem! Down an unassuming dirt road leads to this oasis of fine wine and dining! Under new ownership - family owned and operated, we were greeted with warm smiles and well accommodated to our pick of indoor or outdoor seating, and a great selection of red wines as well as a few whites and even beer. The new owners have great plans for improvements to the space to indulge those of all backgrounds. A must visit!

Great afternoon after the recent renovations. Service was fantastic, staff knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful options for wine, food trucks while they renovate the kitchen provide tasty options.

Visiting from CT and my son and daughter in law wanted to take me to a new winery …….what a treat! The new owners are amazing and the previous owners were awesome too! The wine was delish and the bruschetta was the best I have ever had! Can’t wait to go back! Sue Close- East Hampton CT

Spent a snowy Sunday afternoon at the Gilmanton Winery for a wine tasting. This place is very quaint. We each tasted 6 of their wines. They have wines from very dry to very sweet. We also ordered a lovely charcuterie board. The service was excellent, the wines were tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. We left with a bottle as well. If you're feeling a little cooped up, head over and relax for a bit!

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere and divine service are worth the trip. It'll be a treat if you like sweet wine and are not partial to traditional old-world flavors. Outdoor seating was appreciated because we brought our pup. I wish I hadn't been so full so I could've eaten all of the delicious goat cheese snack

My family and I really enjoyed our Sunday brunch here! The owner and staff were wonderful!

Visited Gilmanton Winery while on my bachelorette trip this past weekend. We were greeted by Major, the resident winery dog, who helped show us to our seats. The employees called us their “guests” rather than customers and we truly did feel like guests. Service was quick and all employees were so kind. When deciding to stay for another glass of wine or visit another place in the area, our server spoke highly of another winery a few towns over as well as other shops and things to do nearby instead of trying to convince us to stay and spend more money. Overall a great experience - oh and the wines and snacks were delicious too!

Charming winery with indoor or outdoor areas to taste their fine wine. We chose outside on the veranda, under cover from the sun with a nice breeze. Wine was very tasty and you can order by the flight or by the bootle. Nice setting on a back road very rural area. There is some food available as well. This was our second time there and yes it will be on our list for a visit next year. Very enjoyable place and the staff were very friendly.

Such a rustic cozy feel! Never had brunch at a winery before, but more should do this, it’s a great idea! Ate everything too fast to take pictures, but I included a photo of the menu to help. Our party of 5 ordered the set Brunch Menu which included 5 courses: Fruit plate, fried dough, French toast, scrambled eggs/home fries/bacon, and lastly berry cobbler for dessert. Each course comes out one at a time, and is served family style. Once you’ve finished the 4th course you can ask for more! I like how thoughtful that rule is, prevents you from wasting food or over indulging. Really delicious food, definitely recommend it! There is also a tiny gift shop at the front of the store.

Drink wine and pet a pig, dreams do come true! This place is unique bc true hospitality and ms.olive was a delight. Minimumal selection of non sweet wines but found one I enjoyed. Support places like these !

I had never been to a winery or a wine tasting before this place! My sister, cousin and I went here on Saturday. We had the place to ourselves most of the time. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming! The two ladies that got us situated and brought our samples were phenomenal! We stayed well after we were finished trying wine just chit chatting and relaxing. We didn't feel rushed or anything. The ladies would check in every so often and make sure we were okay and didn't need anything but never made us feel pressured. I highly recommend this place and hope to go back this summer and see the beautiful grounds!

An intimate spot featuring a good variety of creative wines from dry ones to sweet ones. When we went, my husband and I got to have the tasting room all to ourselves which was great! Our favorite was Tie the Knot; a perfect balance of sweet and tartness - we even had an extra glass of it. We'd definitely go back!

First time visit and I WILL be back. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, fresh, delicious breakfast.

Gilmanton winery is always a great place to start the day with their amazing brunch. After brunch we did a wine tasting. The staff is very hospitable and they treat you like family. This is always a great stop.

Awesome, relaxing winery. Owner and servers were so friendly. We tried all 9 wines and had cheese and crackers along with the tasting. We loved and bought 4 of the wines. Will definitely go back again and have lunch and wine, while relaxing on the porch.

We enjoyed a wine slushy on a hot day. Spent some time talking with Marshall a fellow Marine and owner of the winery.

I come here at least twice a year. It's very quiet, and the grounds to walk around on are very beautiful. The wine is great and they have a small menu to eat from.

I didn't realize I haven't left a review yet but everytime I have been here, the food was amazing and the wine was great! Sunday brunch is served family style and is worth the time and money! I've met Marshall a few times and as a fellow Marine, Semper Fi!

The brunch was absolutely incredible - family style, simple yet delicious. The wine tasting was fun but a tad fruity/sweet for my personal taste. I’ll be back for the brunch for sure.

Lunch It’s now available with items under $10. As always, Gilmanton local products were used and I love to eat local. This is a nice option for the area and passers by. It’s always a pleasure to visit.

Tonight was our first time here & we had a great time experiencing their Murder Mystery night- met lots of fun people! Wine & appetizers were quite good, with lots of flavor. The atmosphere was wonderful inside & outside.The owners were a joy! We are looking forward to coming back.😊

What a wonderful place! The atmosphere is very cozy and quaint. The owners are incredibly friendly and pleasure to interact with. The wine was amazing, each and every glass of the flight! Very unique and crisp flavors! The presentation of the wine, each in unique glass, and board with cheese, meat, fruit, nuts! Their breakfast buffet was terrific. Fresh fruit, French toast, bacon, eggs, potatoes and cannolis for "dessert" left us full and very satisfied. We will return!

A must visit! Going to Gilmanton Winery feels like going to a dear friends house. From the moment we walked in we had a lovely experience-we felt like special guests. We had a flight of delicious wines and a beautiful boards of yummy cheeses, nuts, fruits-the cranberry cheese with the wine 🤩 The bonus was being able to feed the goats fresh grape leaves. We entered the pen and everyone came running over, including a sweet pig that wanted to tell you about their day. A perfect way to spend my birthday-thank you 🥰

Spend the afternoon enjoying wine and cheese. (They have beer too.) Walk around the farm and pet Olive, the friendliest pig ever. Staff is very polite!

Went to the sunday brunch , the staff make you feel at home and the ambiance is magical, I can't forget to mention the food was great as well! Looking forward to coming back and bringing more of my friends and family so that they can expiernce Gilmanton themselves. Also don't forget to check out the plethora of animals they have on-site

Loved this winery! The flights were delicious. The bread with dipping oil was perfect with our wines. I loved the atmosphere and the wine. Tie the Knot was my favorite!

We came for a weekend getaway for my 60th Birthday and my wife chose this place to go to. I must say that this was a very nice place to go and very quaint, relaxing and quiet where you can relax and enjoy your wine samplings. Inside is so nice and they have a nice Sunday brunch. They also have a nice animal farm where you can get up close with them and you can also roam there property and take in the sights. Staff is wonderful, friendly and very informative about their wine selections. The owners are wonderful and very kind. We definitely recommend anyone to come here and enjoy your time sampling their wines. Their prices are very good as well so if you decide to go here you will not be disappointed. Do they deserve a 5 star rating ABSOLUTELY !!!

Came here with friends to celebrate my birthday. This place exceeded all expectations. We had a private room in the back, such nice ambiance! Amazing and unique wine selection, hospitable and fun staff, good vibes all around. Will forever remember the goat in the t-shirt. 100% recommend

This place is amazingly quaint and cozy! You get the definite "Cheers" vibe, but with breakfast! The owners come out and introduce themselves and you want them to sit and regale you of tales from yesteryear. He is a vet and his wife was an airline stewardess. The tales they must have! And the food is very good. Ask for seconds if you have the space! Definitely a place I would return to if I am in the area

We found this gem online during our girls’ trip to New Hampshire. We had the best experience of any vineyard we’ve been to. Marshall, the owner, chatted with us for a while and even took us on a driven tour of the property. The wine was fantastic, the locally sourced cheeses and breads were delicious, and the prices reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome experience at the winery! The wine was amazing with many unique options. Great use of different fruits and flavors!! Nice plot of land with a very homey feel. Wonderful small bites spread with local cheeses. Self guided golf cart tour of the vineyard was a great touch as well. Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of a find while having a bachelorette up in the Lake Winnipesaukee area. Marshall, his wife Sunny and Staff were so welcoming and nice. They also gave me a bottle of wine as a congratulations. Make sure to visit this place and say hi to Olive the pig.

They owners (Marshall and Sunny) are very very friendly and very knowledgeable. You have the ability to choose to taste all of their great options (some of which are seasonal in nature). Such a great vibe and experience. They also occasionally do weddings!

Beautiful location, delicious wine and amazing staff. We enjoyed every part of our visit here. What a beautiful hidden gem. Lots of outdoor seating for tasting if that's something your really wanting right now.

The Chief Vintner (and owner) Marshall is an amazing host! He gave us a personal tour of this heavenly place.. Great wines for tasting as well..(Girls night out and Jack the Ripper are excellent choices).. We had the luxury of a Farmers Breakfast brunch on Sunday and it was awesome! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

Very friendly staff, yummy brunch and lots of cute animals to boot! Got the brunch for the two of us and it was around $50 which is great for the amount of food we got! Favorite was definitely the fried dough! Will come back again for Olive the Pig 🐷

My best friend lives in Gilmanton and we visited the winery while I was there. Very cozy environment, makes you feel right at home. All of the decor is very rustic and historical which adds to the coziness and home like feel of the winery. The wines were all delicious. We each tried six types of wine which was $9 a piece. We also ordered a traditional cheese tray which came with grape syrup and crackers and was absolutely delicious. I bought two bottles of wine also. Everything was wonderful and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

We visited today for Sunday Brunch, to celebrate my 11 yr olds bday, his idea. We had a great time, great food and of coarse they sang happy birthday with his desert ❤ I love how rustic and beautiful this place is and the food was beyond AMAZING. Gilmanton Winery is a very nice, historic place. I will leave the actual wine review to others more knowledgeable than I, but I enjoy my visits there a lot. The owners are very nice, interesting people, and their employees all seem to be friends with faith in the mission of the place. It all adds up to a very welcoming experience

I really enjoyed this place. We bought a Groupon so we got a flight and credit towards a wine purchase. My husband and I were able to sample 6 wines each in front of the fireplace. It was so cozy and we had a great conversation with the owners who gave us suggestions for dinner. I’d return!

This was our first time to the winery, though the couple we went with are veterans of brunch and dinner. Or visit was part of a Valentine's package that included a wine tasting (you got a bottle of your preferred wine included with dinner). There were light appetizers available before being seated for dinner. The dinner package included assorted breads, soup, wedge salad, an entree choice of chicken or beef and a choice between a lemon custard offering or flourless chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream for dessert. During the meal we were entertained by a talented woman singer who interspersed her musical numbers with some brief, loosely Valentine themed anecdotes. While that could have been intrusive, it was not. The balance was such that we could enjoy her performance and still have conversation with our dinner companions. The owners and wait staff were very attentive. Sunny engaged us with friendly banter before our meal and Marshall engaged each table toward the end of the meal to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. Though we did not opt in, a 20 minute sleigh ride was available for a nominal charge. We felt it was too cold but many couples took advantage. All in all a nice take. I can see us doing it again. The winery is a bit of the beaten track but will worth the effort.

We had a wonderful day at the Gilmanton Winery. It was a full day experience for us starting with a 5 course brunch, then meeting their goats and bunnies and ending with wine tasting. The owner was very present throughout our day and was so positive in pleasant. Loved the staff, food, wine and scenery. We will be back!

This place is awesome! For their wine tasting they do "flights" & you get to sit out side while your trying them! After we each got a glass of wine & sat outside too! Theres also animals to check out. Very relaxing place! We met the owner & he was very nice. We will be going back!

Great variety of wines, a flavor for everyone. Welcoming staff and a great home feel. You will never be disappointed by the wine, food, or hospitality. Try the green apple Riesling, it's the best one.

The good great, the dj awesome very friendly, played awesome songs. The wait staff a lot of fun. Tried different wines, the staff there really good about explaining the different types of wines. It was a great night, I'd recommend to others.
