One day, I was driving back from the shore and saw Bill's bbq and told myself that I needed to stop there before I left NJ. I am glad I was able to. From his bbq ribs and chicken, the side is all homemade. The colard greens are awesome. Bill was gracious enough to give me small tastes of their other side dishes. They were just as amazingly good. If you have never been to Bill's bbq, you need to go!! From talking to Bill, he does catering. Highly highly recommended.

Very nice people and usually really good. Brisket was almost 2/3 fat. Chicken was completely blackened so was dry. Usually not like this. I should have taken back but next time I’ll just check when I’m there

If you’re thinking about getting BBQ this is the place to go! I went to Bills BBQ today and they have the best bbq I ever had here in Jersey. The people were kind and the food was fresh. 10/10

I haven't been here yet but my mouth is watering already from the reviews this place was rated 4.8 out of 5 I'm visiting very soon. I just moved back to NJ after living in Colorado for 6 years and I can't wait to eat some brisket from Bill's!!!

My son stopped there this weekend and ordered a rib sandwich and bill was one rib short so he gave him a side order of pulled pork for free. Thanks bill!

My husband and I was driving and passed this place, so we turned around and tried it. The service was excellent, one review said they were not friendly, however, I did not have this same experience, they were extremely nice to a new costumer. They are open Saturday and Sunday 11- to around 3. On summer days they open on Friday same times. We got the brisket platter, which came with a two sides. We got the coleslaw and potato salad. Platter was 21 dollars, which we thought was very reasonable. I definitely would recommend this place.

The food was great,we had the ribs and chicken, it was so tender and flavorful. It's just a little bbq place but you get your monies worth. Handicapped accessible. Will be going again.

The ribs are good but the sides suck, the potatoe salad just tastes like straight mayo and celery 😒

We had a family outing at a State Park in NJ in October 2022. I called Bill’s BBQ a few weeks before the outing and ordered pulled pork, coleslaw, BBQ chicken and Bills homemade BBQ sauce for 35 people. On the day of the outing, Bill’s day off, I met Bill at his store to pickup the food. Bill had everything ready, it was fresh and hot. At the outing people were raving about everything. It was a huge success thanks to Bill’s BBQ.

Outstanding on all accounts. Delicious food and wonderful people. Some favorites are the ribs, collard greens, coleslaw, and brownies, but every menu item I've tried is excellent. The customer service is great and it's in a really cool location. It's well worth traveling far for.

Friendly owners, food is delicious, large servings and not expensive. I go out of my way on the weekends for a platter or two.

Today was our first time here and food was amazing.. I have been craving “real” bbq and they did not disappoint . Fantastic food, service and an all around great experience. We are hooked .

This place is a must if you’re in the area on the weekend! The food is delicious, whether it be the super juicy chicken, smoky ribs or the pulled pork, you really can’t go wrong! And the sides are the best, especially the potato salad and beans! Love this bbq joint and the entire family! They are so welcoming!

I stopped here yesterday after a day of canoeing. Pulled pork was awesome. Meat was overflowing from my sandwich. I will definitely return.

We are lucky enough to live just a few minutes away, and have been enjoying your BBQ a little extra this summer. My husband and I always grab a pulled pork sandwich. He eats his as you serve it, I top mine with your awesome coleslaw & always get your delicious potato salad. Our son gets half a chicken every time, & always says “this is the best chicken I’ve ever had!” He never finishes but we always save what he doesn’t eat. We tried the leftover chicken on homemade nachos today- the smokey flavor made them amazing!

Hands down the best BBQ outside of Franklins in Austin, TX. Just a couple of picnic tables and some awesome homemade smokers. If brisket had a bone, this BBQ would be falling off it. No sauce goo. Just pure Heaven. Go there now.

Pretty good pulled pork sandwich on a fresh roll. Wish the lady was friendly to strangers (me) and locals alike. They got conversation, I didn’t get even a thank you. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have to give them 5 stars. The food is something you will travel miles to enjoy. And the service is what makes the food even better. Cleanliness is not a concern. Area is sanitized between customers. Proper PPE is worn by staff. And sis I say the food is EXCELLENT! I will return. 🙂

We got a brisket sandwich, a rib sandwich, and a side of potato salad. It was excellent. The brisket was amazing. The ribs had an awesome smoke flavor. Also, they are very nice. I highly recommend stopping to pick up lunch or dinner.

Great food and reasonable pricing. Real smoked bbq, I had brisket and kids had ribs, all was excellent. Sides are also delicious. Old Bill is friendly and svc is great.

This recommendation is long overdue, but I wanted to get it out there. Bill is AWESOME! We had a graduation party in June of last year and weren’t sure of which way to go for catering. Bill walked us through everything we needed and worked around our schedule. I know it was a busy time in his season, but Bill didn’t miss a thing. He took care of everything and even checks in with us during the party to make sure we had enough food for everyone and to check if there was anything else we needed! Bill exceeded all expectations and anyone planning a party or needing to cater an event must check out his place! Thanks goes out to Bill for making that day awesome!

I discover this place when was goin to pick something I bought at route206.Stop by on my way back like3 weeks ago.I tell u this is the best pork ever and potato salad it's of the hook I'm not a potato salad person.The environment here it's very great for the family.It's my second time here .The owners are great ppl and business oriented.I recommend this to take the whole family to eat.
